Days Eleven and Twelve

Sorry, I got behind!

ARIZONA: Under Republican Gov. Doug Ducey, Arizonans shell out $100 million to build a makeshift border wall out of shipping containers. One day after Democrat Katie Hobbs – who was elected under disputed circumstances – was inaugurated as governor, contractors are suddenly racing to remove them … to the tune of another $76 million. Once the containers are removed, border agents will once again have to respond to multiple areas with limited manpower.

EDUCATION: The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals (the 9th!) has ruled that wearing a MAGA hat is constitutionally-protected free speech. In 2019, a Washington State teacher wore his MAGA hat to teacher training. The principal of one of the schools made a ginormous stink, called the teacher a racist and bigot, then told him to bring his union representative. The principal told the court she was solely motivated by a desire to prevent disruptions to the school. Yeah, right. Interesting isn’t it to compare this with the Canadian school board that rejected parents’ complaints that the male shop teacher’s giant fake boobs were an unacceptable distraction?

FBI: Musk’s latest Twitter file releases have revealed that the intelligence community pushed Twitter to find some sort of coordinated Russian disinformation campaign on which it could blame things like the Hunter Biden laptop story and the Wuhan lab leak story.

JORDAN PETERSON: It’s 1984 in Canada.

TRANS ATHLETES: The World Boxing Council (WBC) will be restricting competitions to members of the same biological sex. To satisfy boxers supposedly struggling with gender confusion, there will be separate categories for mtf and ftm boxers to compete against one another. I’ve got three thoughts about this. One, finally, some common sense! Two, those last two categories are going to be very sparsely populated. Three, betcha a lot of allegedly gender confused mtf boxers will suddenly decide they’d rather be men and box than be trans and not box.

VAXXXIDENT: Former Jacksonville Jaguars offensive lineman Uchechukwu Nwaneri (38) was found unresponsive by his wife at 1 a.m. after apparently collapsing. The toxicology report is not back yet, but the physical autopsy showed no signs of foul play. At the moment, investigators believe the former player might have suffered a heart attack. He was vaxxxed.

In other news, we now know that between Dec. 14, 2020 and July 29, 2022, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) identified hundreds of safety signals for the Moderna and Pfizer gene therapy toxins that they did NOT tell us about. Safety signals are adverse conditions that may be linked to the vaxxx. The only reason we know this now is that The Epoch Times pried the information out the CDC through a FOIA request after the CDC refused to make the results public.

Tenth Day of Christmas

N.b., all the “ten lords a’leaping” memes I found were boring, so I went with this. 🙂

Senator Cardin has also claimed that “hate” speech isn’t protected by the 1st Amendment and that we should “learn from” Europe, where they arrest people for praying and posting memes.

Huh … and here I was taught in American history that the whole point of the First Amendment was to protect unpopular speech. Cuz, you know, popular speech doesn’t need protecting. But heck, let’s just forget all that and the fact that we fought a war to free ourselves from European standards!

NFL: Prayers needed for Damar Hamlin, who suffered cardiac arrest during the Bills-Bengals game. Play was suspended while dozens of rough, tough professional football players wept and knelt in prayer in front of hundreds of thousands of people. As I write this, the latest news is that he is in a coma, on a ventilator, and in critical condition.

Hamlin was drafted by the Bills in April of 2021. By November of that year, 95% of all NFL players had chosen the jab over daily testing. Hamlin’s case is getting a lot of attention. Of course, we pray for a full recovery, but in the likely event he ends up dead or crippled for life, I also pray that the vaxxx gets blamed. N.b., the last article below – “Sudden Cardiac Death Risk in Contact Sports” – discusses the issue.

RASMUSSEN: Overall, 48% of adults surveyed said there are legitimate reasons to be concerned about the safety of the ‘rona vaxxxines. The breakdowns by gender and age were remarkably similar. Ditto the partisan breakdown: Republicans (60%), Democrats (44%), unaffiliated (43%). N.b., a 16 point spread is really small for any highly politicized issue.

Interestingly, more Democrats (33%) than Republicans and unaffiliated (26% each) reported suspecting that someone they know might have died because of the jab. This disparity is in line with the fact that people tend to associate with like-minded people and more Democrats (85%) than Republicans (63%) got the jab.

S&G: My heart breaks for this man. He fought so hard to save his son, but his whacko mother has won the right to take him to California and start him on life-altering puberty blockers. I can’t find anywhere that the kid got his own lawyer and an unbiased shrink to talk to him without either parent present and find out what he wants!

In highly vaxxxed nations, December live birth rates continued to be 5% to 15% below pre-vaxxx levels, while excess deaths continued to be 3% to 20% higher.

Catholic Teaching on Aliens

I believe the beings described in Rev. 16:13-14 will likely be demons posing as Roswell gray/greens. And we’re being groomed to accept them unquestioningly. Already, about half of Americans believe that aliens are visiting Earth!

A lot of lay people think aliens come from other planets in distant star systems, but the physicists who take the laws of our universe seriously say can NOT have come from OUR universe, because the problems of traveling such distances are insurmountable. Carl Sagan was part of a DoD study years ago that concluded extraterrestrial beings have and do visit Earth, but that their origin is not within our universe, but in some other dimension.

Psychiatrists who have made a serious study of alien encounters say the survivors are not mentally ill, yet show clear signs of PTSD. IOW, they definitely experienced something traumatic. Christian UFOlogists report that NOTHING but the Name of Jesus stops these often terrifying and unwanted visitations, but that it only works for people who walk the walk, not just talk the talk. IOW, demons, including the ones who masquerade as aliens, know who really belongs to Jesus.

Day One and Day Eight

BIDEN ECONOMY: A year ago, Joe bragged about all the stock market records that had been set on his watch. There definitely were records, but they weren’t the kind you should brag about!

CHIEF TWIT: The Christian Post is back on Twitter. The previous regime suspended the account after it refused to retract a tweet saying, “USA Today names Rachel Levine, a man, among its ‘Women of the Year.’”

COVID-19: A newly published analysis of ‘rona death statistics shows the highest ‘rona death rate was among the over 70s. However, 94% of the global population is under 70; the infected survival rate among 60-69ers was 99.5%.

Furthermore, 86% of the global population is under 60 years old. The infected survival rate among the oldest of these (50-59ers) was 99.88%.

And, as you go down in age, the survival rate goes up. For 40-49ers, it was 99.96%. For 30-39ers, it was 99.989%. For 20-29ers, it was 99.998%. And for 0-19ers, it was 99.9997%.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky just signed a bill that broadened his government’s control over both print and online media.

The UK is threatening extra jail time for female prisoners who use he/him for the penis-bearers with whom they are forced to share cells, bathrooms, and showers.

The EU is trying to get everyone to refer to pedophiles as “Minor-Attracted Persons“, as if molesting children is just one more sexual preference we must tolerate.

KAREN: [1:03] – This may be one of the most ridiculous Karens I’ve seen yet. No surprise it happened in San Fran-Feces which all the normal people have abandoned. “You’re killing us,” she screams … while standing still in the absolutely zero traffic lane that she thinks is unacceptably dangerous for her to use to quickly pass the ambulance. Also, telling the driver (who is on a break) to park in a parking lot … ignoring the very real possibility (and maybe regs?) that the driver’s break could be abruptly ended by an urgent call. The one thing she says that is absolutely true is that her mind is probably “God damned.”

KWANZAA: Today is the last day of this bogus holiday. Wikipedia says it was created in 1966 in the aftermath of the Watts riots. Black Power leader, Maulana Karenga, says he created it to “give blacks an alternative to the existing holiday of Christmas and give blacks an opportunity to celebrate themselves and their history, rather than simply imitate the practice of the dominant society.” IOW, it was intended, right from the start, to be a specific rejection of Jesus Christ.

You’ll notice that the 7-day kinara (kee-NAH-rah) mimics the Jewish menorah, but puts a black candle in the most important spot, and uses the traditional green and red colors of Christmas for the rest. Each day, the black candle is lit first; it symbolizes a desire for unity of purpose for all African American and Pan-American people. On subsequent days, the red and green candles are added. The “principles” highlighted each day are heavy on communist ideals, like collective work and responsibility, cooperative economics, creativity in service of the community, and faith not in God, but in the community. In short, Black Power/BlackLivesMatter Marxism.

Not long after inventing Kwanzaa, Karenga was convicted of felony assault and false imprisonment. One of his victims testified that Karenga and other men had tortured her and another woman, stripping them naked and beating them with a toaster, an electrical cord and a karate baton. He also burned her mouth and face with a hot soldering iron, clamped her toes in a vise, and put detergent in their mouths and ran hoses into their mouths. While imprisoned, Karenga studied and wrote on feminism (wut?!), Pan-Africanism, and other subjects. Since his release, he has denied all charges, described himself as a former political prisoner, and eliminated the entire episode from his biographical materials. He’s been awarded two doctorates and is head of the Africana Studies Department at California State University, Long Beach.

LOCKDOWNS: Sweden didn’t lock down and achieved herd immunity within months. China imposed the most draconian lockdowns on the planet and now, nearly three years later, has the highest ‘rona infection and deaths rates of any nation.

GRAMMY NOTES: New Year’s Eve was a wild and crazy night here at Casa Hyphen! Dearest and I switched out our 2022 health insurance cards for 2023 health insurance cards, got all our holidays and holy days of obligation marked on our new day planners, AND watched a sappy Christmas DVD.

Seventh Day of Christmas

1A: The whole point of the First Amendment is to protect speech that someone hates, particularly the someones who have the power to silence their critics.

CATHOLIC: Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI passed into eternal life at 9:34 AM this morning in Rome. Please pray with us for the repose of his soul.

CHEEKTOWAGA: The Buffalo, NY, area got totally slammed with snow and bitter temperatures last week. People died … but not these people. A Cheektowaga mechanic named Jay Withey took his truck out to try and rescue a friend who was stuck in the storm. Along the way he picked up a lightly clothed pedestrian. Then, his truck got stuck too, but cops said they couldn’t make it out to help anyone.

Withey asked several people for shelter for himself and ten others, some of them elderly, all of them out of gas and in danger of freezing to death. He even offered these people $500 just to let everyone sleep on their floors and use their bathrooms. They all said no.

Finally, Withey decided he had no choice but to break into a nearby school. He turned off the alarm, scrounged in the cafeteria for food, and found mats in the gym for everyone to sleep on. Then he wrote a note to the school, apologizing for the damage he’d caused. Personally, I think he should get a nice plaque or something. He saved thirteen lives … his own, ten other humans, and two dogs.

LIFE: [8:28] – This woman knows exactly how great is God’s mercy.

NONUPLETS: The world’s only known surviving nonuplets, five girls and four boys, are now 19 months old and have earned themselves a Guinness World Records title for most children delivered at a single birth to survive.

S&G: Let me guess what kind of adults get off on watching little boys dressed in girls’ clothing strut up and down a runway.

STORY HOUR: I’ve reported before about Kirk Cameron’s efforts to get a public library to host a story hour for him and his new book. One library finally caved to public pressure and HUNDREDS of people showed up to hear him read As You Grow.

TRUMP: Dems released Trump’s personal tax returns for 2015 through 2020, assuming that proof he paid zero taxes for four of these years would damage their #1 political opponent. But really, all they show is that Trump was smart enough to hire smart tax lawyers who took maximum advantage of all of the loopholes that the people who hate him created for themselves and their big donors.

VAXXX: In 1976, when they found there was one serious adverse event per 100,000 individuals injected with swine flu, they withdrew the vaccine.

In 1999, when they found there were one to two serious adverse events per 10,000 individuals injected with the rotavirus vaccine, they withdrew the vaccine.

In 2020, when they found there was one serious adverse event per 800 individuals injected with the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 mRNA serum, they promoted it world-wide, in many cases mandating it as a condition of employment.

Sixth Day of Christmas

CATHOLIC: On the Sixth Day of Christmas, the Catholic calendar gives to us the Feast of the Holy Family. This feast is a special day to ponder the central importance God gave to family when He chose to have His Son born into and grow up as one. It’s also a time to think about the importance of having a mother and a father in the home. Since God is His Son’s true Baby Daddy, He could just as easily have had Mary be a single mom, providing for their needs Himself. But He didn’t.

CHIEF TWIT: Elon Musk closed the Seattle office and told the remaining workers in Seattle to work from home.

He also announced that the new Twitter policy on science “includes reasoned questioning,” to which Gale Saad responded, “The science is anything that His Eminence Lord Fauci says it is. His Excellency is science.”

Musk replied, “Anyone who says that questioning them is questioning science itself cannot be regarded as a scientist.” And Gale Saad tweeted, “Bingo.”

EXERCISE: TIME magazine has further diminished its reputation with a new article called, “The White Supremacist Origins of Exercise, and 6 Other Surprising Facts about the History of U.S. Physical Fitness.” In it, they ask us to seriously wonder, “How did U.S. exercise trends go from reinforcing white supremacy to celebrating Richard Simmons?“

Tweeters rightfully lambasted the stupid thing. One included a link to The Fat Pedagogy Reader: Challenging Weight-Based Oppression Through Critical Education (Counterpoints), a book for sale at Amazon, which helpfully recommends “Fearing the Black Body: The Racial Origins of Fat Phobia.”

In other leftie news, The New Yorker declared that not agreeing to the supposition that we should all wear masks forever is … no surprise … RAAACIST and, of course, also rooted in white supremacy.

FAILING REGIME: When Elon Musk bought Twitter, he described the previous year’s losses ($44 billion) as akin to a “plane that is headed toward the ground at high speed with the engines on fire and the controls don’t work.” Kinda reminds me of the federal government.

FAUXTUS: Tell us again about the urgency of fighting climate change, Joe, m’kay?

ILLINOIS: A Circuit Court judge has ruled that parts of the state’s cashless bail law improperly attempted to amend the Constitution and violated the Constitution’s separation of powers clause.

S&G: The CDC’s “LGBTQ Inclusivity in Schools” self-assessment tool is billed as “an educational resource designed to aid … to help schools enhance LGBTQ inclusive policies, programs, and practices.”

CDC stands for “Centers for Disease Control.” Apparently, the United States has descended so far into sin sickness that not promoting homosexuality is considered a “disease” we need to “control.”

TRANS: This guy stabbed his parents to death, allegedly because they didn’t affirm his gender dysphoria. He also reportedly laughed while describing his crimes to a police officer. An uncle said the claim was crap, that the parents were resigned to their son living as a woman. And he’s getting his wish. Although he was initially sentenced to 40 years in a maximum security prison for men, he has recently been moved to a medium-to-minimum facility where most inmates have been sentenced to prison terms of 5 years or less. May God have mercy on his cell mates, who will be locked inside their small cages with the 6’1”, 245# monster.

TRUMP: The Jan. 6 House select committee has withdrawn the subpoena of The Donald that it issued in October. The attorney Trump hired to deal with the subpoena said, “After my firm filed suit on separation of powers grounds to block January 6 House Select Committee’s illegitimate subpoena to President Trump over his activities while president—the committee waved the white flag & withdrew subpoena. We were confident of victory in court, given precedent & refusal of prior presidents to testify in Congress. J6 committee wasted millions for a purely political witch-hunt, total abuse of process & power serving no legitimate legislative purpose.”

VAXXX: Initially, 90% of nursing home workers took the COVID-19 jabs. Their booster rate, however, is at 10%. Dr. Peter McCullough suggests it is likely that staffing shortages have caused administrators to quietly drop jab mandates, while staffers who have witnessed complications and deaths following the jab and/or have recovered from the virus don’t want it.

EXCESS DEATHS: I’ve reported repeatedly on the shocking rise in unexplained deaths in healthy adults that we’re seeing all around the world. It happens to coincide with the ‘rona jab, which OF COURSE must not be blamed! Oh so predictably, “experts” are now claiming that the sudden spike is due to … wait for it … excessive use of artificial sweeteners (that have been in regular use for half a century).

Taxpaying residents fed up with all the crap, crime, and rampant disease got the city to agree to get rid of the homeless encampments; an Oakland judge has blocked the effort. HYPOCRISY: Republican representative-elect George Santos (Long Island) ran as an openly gay Republican and won. Now he has admitted that he kinda, sorta “embellished” his resumé. IOW, he lied … about his past employment, about where he went to school, about his income disclosures, and about his heritage. He also claimed to have been an “out and proud” gay Republican for more than a decade when, in fact, he filed for his first congressional campaign just 12 days after his divorce from a woman came through.

So, yeah, the guy’s a jerk. But the way the Dems are screaming for his head on a platter, you’d think they’d never before encountered a lying liar in their august midst. BWAHAHAHAHA! Elizabeth Warren spent decades lying about her non-existent Native American heritage; Dems yawned. Ilhan Omar married her own brother to get him a green card; Dems shrugged. And Joe Biden who has been lying about anything and everything for decades … him they put in the White House.

RAAACISM: Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology (TJ) is an elite public high school that, until recently, was restricted to kids who could pass the entrance exam. U.S. News and World Report ranks it as America’s top high school.
