FAKE NEWS

I saw this on Facebook. I googled it and found it elsewhere as well. Then I fact checked it. Only three are true. One is probably true. Six are not only false but also illegal, so why is anyone cheering that he might have done them?

Good stuff in my opinion

In Case You Didn’t hear any of this GREAT NEWS ON YOUR TELLY, THIS IS WHAT OUR PRESIDENT HAS BEEN DOING:

While the msm works tirelessly to make President Donald Trump out to be a buffoon, over the last week President Trump did the following, but you probably won’t hear about it:

  1. Made vaccines voluntary not mandatory. The military will check the purity and distribute vaccines
  2. Defunded W.H.O forever and wants an investigation into its operations
  3. Canceled the Democrats HR 6666 bill, known as the Covid -19 TRACE Act that was the basis for Bill Gates’s diagnosis and tracking project, which was also canceled.
  4. Cancelled Bill Gates project is known as ID2020
  5. Opened a complaint platform to report censorship on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. It was overrun with complaints. They got the evidence.
  6. Stopped 5G rollout nationwide
  7. Executive Order to reopen states: Governors who refuse to reopen will be sued.
  8. Executive Order for W.H. to take over all Electrical Grids: This will include Internet servers, Broadcasting systems, Electronic systems.
  9. Declares places of worship ‘Essential Sevices.’ Some mayors are fining people for going to church.
  10. Applauded Australia and 116 countries for insisting on a China Probe into the spread of Covid-19 despite several threats from China about refusing critical exports.

And the good work keeps coming. The Gold-backed standard is in the pipeline and there is talk about Nesara/ Gesara. The man has balls!

He’s changing the world.

FACT CHECK:

1. Yes. On May 19, 2020, President Trump stated that a future coronavirus vaccine will be voluntary. Continue reading

Trump vs. Twitter

2020_05 28 social media

Andrea Widburg at American Thinker has an interesting take on Trump’s fight with the social media giant.

Even Trump-supporters have wondered about Trump’s tweets implying that MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough had something to do with a young intern’s death in his office when he was still a Florida congressman.  It’s true that Scarborough and his co-host and wife Mika Brzezinksi have spent three years accusing Trump of treasonous collusion with the Russians, but Trump’s venom still seemed strange.

I, however, don’t think it was strange at all.  Trump is one of the most calculating, rational people ever to occupy the White House.  He’s been faced with a serious problem, which is the fact that the immensely powerful social media giants, which are the gateway to most information nowadays, have already begun trying to sway the election to Biden.  Legislatively, thanks to three years of Russiagate and the current hostile House, Trump has been powerless.

So Trump set a trap.  On Wednesday, the Twitter mouse took the bait. …

[Explains background story about intern’s death.] A furiously angry Mika Brzezinksi demanded that Twitter dump Trump: .@jack At what point is @Twitter a part of this? TAKE DOWN TRUMP’s ACCOUNT— the world world be safer. Retweet if you agree — Mika Brzezinski (@morningmika) May 20, 2020

I think Mika’s demand was what Trump was waiting for.  He wanted to goad Twitter into doing something to get him off the platform.

On Wednesday, Twitter took the bait.  As I’m sure Trump had calculated, Twitter didn’t do something as obvious as responding to Mika’s demands.  Instead, it flagged two of Trump’s tweets as false:

By challenging the president that way, Twitter made the fatal mistake of overtly inserting itself as a content editor, and therefore publisher, of overtly political material.  Trump was ready: Continue reading

Media Malpractice

My Bits & Bytes for today got so long, I decided to split off this subject into its own post.

WORTH WATCHING ALL THE WAY THROUGHClick [13:09] to hear Tucker Carlson mock liberal media coverage of people getting outdoors for Memorial Day week-end.

One clip he shows is particularly disgusting. A doctor says, “The virus won’t respond to prayer.” And the host chuckles.

FOX Business’ Stuart Varney [2:49] talks about the mainstream media spinning negative news in response to their hatred for Trump. He quotes former CBS News President Van Gordon Sauter, who wrote in “The Liberal Media Has Passed Its Tipping Point” (The Wall Street Journal):

News organizations that claim to be neutral have long been creeping leftward, and their loathing of Mr. Trump has accelerated the pace. The news media is catching up with the liberalism of the professoriate, the entertainment industry, upscale magazines and the literary world.

There’s probably no way to seal the gap between the media and a large segment of the public. The media likes what it is doing. Admires it. Celebrates it. There is no personal, professional or financial reason to change. If anything, the gap will expand. Ultimately, the media finds the ‘deplorables’ deplorable. Continue reading

2020_05 28 virus Dems not safe

ECONOMIC RECOVERY: Economic indicators are ticking up. And Democrats are very sad.

A top former economic adviser to Obama says, “We are about to see the best economic data we’ve seen in the history of this country.

Left-wing site Politico reports this in an article called The general election scenario that Democrats are dreading.

This is my big worry,” said a former Obama White House official who is still close to the former president. Asked about the level of concern among top party officials, he said, “It’s high — high, high, high, high.”

Democrat Efforts to Defy God and the Constitution

2020_05 27 church

Two Democrat governors have backed down from their attempts to keep churches closed.

Just days after Minnesota bishops vowed to defy the 10-person-only rule (regardless of the size of the church), Minnesota’s Governor Tim Walz issued a new order allowing 25% capacity or 250 people, whichever is lower.

In California, a Pentecostal church asked the Supreme Court to throw out Governor Gavin Newsom’s restrictive order, the DOJ warned Gov. Newsom against discriminating against churches, and 1,200 pastors told him they would open regardless. Newsom backed down and issued new guidelines that allow houses of worship in California to reopen at 25% capacity or 100 attendees, whichever is lower.

Sadly, Illinois’ Democrat Governor J.B. Pritzker and Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot are doubling down on their unconstitutional line.

Three Chicago churches have been fined $500 each for violating Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s current stay-at-home order by hosting more than 10 people. They have been warned to stop holding gatherings or face being “declared a public health nuisance” and potentially closed.

The battle over whether to reopen churches escalated Friday when President Donald Trump deemed all places of worship “essential” and called on state leaders to allow services. Continue reading

2020_05 27 BIDEN creepy Joe

CREEPY JOE BIDEN: PASS THIS AROUND – Click [2:20] to hear an expert on sexual abuse and family violence explain why Joe Biden’s creepy behavior is far from benign.

Andrea Widburg at American Thinker says, “Biden’s blatant behavior opens itself to two unpleasant interpretations.  First, he believes that his status in D.C. puts him above the law.  Like some Roman emperor, Joe thinks (correctly to date) that he can get away with anything.  Second, Joe may get some sort of sick exhibitionistic kick about showing his preference for young girls so publicly.”

2020_05 26 Grateful heart miracles

1944 and 2020

COVID-19: The World Health Organization estimated the virus had a 3.4% death rate. Now, with much wider testing, the official estimate for those who are symptomatic has been dropped a full 3% to 0.4%.

And with the new antibody test being used, they’re finding that about 35% of those infected are asymptomatic, which drops the overall infection fatality rate (IFR) to just 0.26%. Continue reading

The Biden Bee

To Save Time, The Babylon Bee Will Now Just Republish Everything Biden Says Verbatim

2020_05 25 Biden forgot

The Bible tells us to work smarter, not harder. Or, better yet, don’t work at all if you can help it. You can look it up. It’s in the Proverbs somewhere.

That’s why we’re announcing today that we will simply be republishing everything Joe Biden says word for word rather than spending a lot of time and effort writing satire.

We at The Babylon Bee realized we were spending all this time trying to satirize Joe Biden when, frankly, he just can’t be satirized. He’s doing all the hard work for us with statements like “You ain’t black!” and, of gun violence, that “150 million people have been killed since 2007.”

Every day is a real grind when we arrive at the sprawling Babylon Bee headquarters, settle in on our throne of Chick-fil-A sandwiches, and boot up the ol’ PC to check what Biden said over the past 24 hours. We’re tired of trying to out-parody things like “I got hairy legs that turn blonde in the sun and the kids used to reach in the pool and rub my leg down and watch the hair come back up again” and “Corn Pop was a bad dude.”

Like, what do you do with that? Seriously. Go ahead. Try to satirize it. Anything you do just doesn’t have that perfect mix of absurdity and reality that makes satire work so effective at communicating truth. So we’re throwing in the towel.

We’d also like to take this opportunity to thank Joe Biden for being such a great satirical performance artist. You’re the real hero, Joe. The people really need comedy in a time like this, and you’re doing a great job. Keep it up!

Finally, laugh at these hilarious Babylon Bee headlines from our new best satirist, Joe Biden:

  • Biden: ‘Poor Kids Are Just As Bright As White Kids’
  • Joe Biden Says All Men And Women Are Created By You Know The Thing
  • Presidential Candidate Nibbles On His Wife’s Fingers
  • Joe Biden: ‘I’m Going To Beat Joe Biden’
  • ‘Go to Joe 30330’ Says Joe
  • Biden Tells Campaign Rally ‘We Choose Truth Over Facts’
  • Joe Biden Calls Iowa Man ‘Fat’ And A ‘[FLOWERBED] Liar’

You can look forward to lots more content coming from your new favorite Babylon Bee writer any moment now.

CtH: I don’t get that last one. Joe said, “You’re a damn liar.” What’s damn got to do with flowerbed?

Also, earlier in the argument, he calls the guy “Jack” so I’m thinking he said “Jack”, not “fat.” However, he did challenge the guy to a fitness match and said, “You’re too old to vote for me.” So there was plenty of inappropriate age and body shape shaming coming out of his mouth.

Until

2020_05 25 fallen

A place of honor for those not here:

•Single setting: symbolizing the vulnerability of a lone prisoner against his captors.
•A white tablecloth: symbolizing purity of intention in responding to the nation’s call to arms.
•An empty seat for they are not here.
•An inverted wine glass: they cannot toast with us today.
•A slice of lemon: reminding us of their bitter suffering.
•Grains of salt: representing the countless tears of the families.
•A single red rose: reminding us of loved ones who keep the faith awaiting their return.
•The burning candle and yellow ribbon — symbolizing everlasting hope of a reunion with the missing.

Until the day they return home or find eternal peace, we will remember.
