Stilton’s Take on Donald Jr Story
We’re not delving deeply into the latest developments of this cockeyed non-story, but we just thought it was worth mentioning that Natalia Veselnitskaya, the Russian attorney with whom Donald Trump Jr. briefly met, must have been living in a Siberian cave for the last couple of decades if she wasn’t able to offer up some plausible dirt on Hillary.
Seriously, if we’d met with Trump Jr, we could have talked for hours about Hillary’s myriad scandals and misdeeds.
The fact that Veselnitskaya couldn’t and didn’t only lends additional credibility to the idea that she was more likely an operative representing Loretta Lynch and Barack Obama than Vladimir Putin. Just days before she embarked on her lobbying campaign, Veselnitskaya was cleared by the Obama Justice Department to enter the United States without a visa.

If they could only see their eternal destiny
Oregon legislators are going to have a lot of lives to answer for at judgment.
The state House and Senate have both passed a radical pro-abortion bill that Gov. Kate Brown says she will sign soon.
The new state law will force force health insurers and taxpayers to pay for free abortions for residents and illegal immigrants.
It will also set aside $10.2 million tax dollars for abortions, contraception and other reproductive health services for 2017 through 2019 in Medicaid, much of which pro-life advocates say will go to Planned Parenthood.
It isn’t clear to me if U.S. citizens who reside in other states will be able to travel to Oregon and demand that Oregon taxpayers provide them with free abortions as well.

Subway train delays due to signal problems in New York City are leaving commuters frustrated. Sen. Chuck Schumer blamed it on Trump (of course).
Tweeters had a few things to suggest to Chuck:
- New York Democrats have been failing New Yorkers for years.
- What ever happened to Obama’s Trillion dollar “Shovel Ready” infrastructure money?
- How about we all tweet @BilldeBlasio to be in #NYC to work on his city instead of “protesting” in Hamburg?

We are coming, Nineveh
That’s the name the Iraqi government and allied militias gave their nine month battle to retake the city of Mosul, Iraq, which ISIS seized in June 2014. Maybe we should say now, “We have arrived, Nineveh”, because the cowardly, murderous scum have fallen and Mosul is once again under Iraqi control.
US officials have compared the fight in Mosul to the intensity of warfare in World War II. Some of the enemy has not surrendered, fled, or died, and continue to fight on, so the city is not totally secure just yet. In addition, allies have still to safely remove all the booby traps and ordinance left behind, like this IED hidden in a little girl’s backpack.
The city of Nineveh, made famous in the Bible, was on the eastern bank of the Tigris in the modern day city of Mosul.
In 2008, U.S. and allied forces took Mosul from al-Qaeda in what the London’s Sunday Times called “the culmination of one of the most spectacular victories of the war on terror.”
The U.S. media yawned.
After all, the MSM’s Democrat apologists posing as journalists could hardly admit that Bush’s Surge under General Petraeus had actually WORKED and that we had won “the stupid war.” That might damage then-Senator “I was against the war before anybody else was” Obama’s election effort or, maybe even worse, make Bush look good. Can’t have that.
According to the Obama’s view of the world, leaving our troops in Iraq to help defend that infant democracy from Muslim extremists would be “imperialist.” So in August 2010, he began removing our forces. The were all out by the end of 2011.
Two and a half years later, ISIS seized Mosul and decimated it.
