Watching the eleven-hour debacle that was the Benghazi hearings yesterday, those of us who believe that those who commit felonies should be called to account, the frustration seems like having your estranged wife show up at your house with police officers and a court order signed by a judge, who happens to be her father, and you’re forced to watch as she and her new boyfriend take every stick of furniture, every pot and pan, and even the toothbrush holder from you, and smirk because they know there’s nothing you can do about it. That analogy came to me this morning. If it makes no sense, things are about normal.
In full disclosure, I only watched snippets of the show yesterday. I had the unfortunate circumstance of tuning in just as phony Mexican Loretta Sanchez (Illegal-Ca) was bemoaning the fact the investigations has cost the taxpayers (you know, those people who DON’T vote democrat) about 4 1/2 million dollars. It’s the only time, save defense spending, that liberals give two hoots and a holler about spending.
It was absolutely nauseating the way the lying bitch smirked and blithely lied all the way through, with the dems as her apologists and defenders. The friction between her and the republicans gave the media something to talk about so they could ignore the seriousness of the crimes she committed.
I have never claimed to have the organizational or creative skills of the others who post here. I’m just a pissed-off senior citizen taking the opportunity to vent. There is no rhyme or reason to the articles I’m posting here, and some of the you tubes (there are plenty) and some may contain some of the same footage. I love you folks, but not enough to watch all of them in their entirety. I’m not really masochistic.

When you first enroll in Medicare you are entitled to something called Medicare Initial Preventative Physical Examination. I visited my family doctor Tuesday and went over the checklist of services offered initially. I skipped the colonoscopy because a fecal occult blood test and a Barium enema didn’t really appeal to me. At breakfast this morning both my uncles have had one. One was put under anesthetic, but Uncle Roger watched the whole thing and proceeded to describe it… in detail… over a ham and cheese omelet.
The doctor also gave me a flu shot, which I hadn’t had in over 20 years. I woke up yesterday morning with chills and all-over body ache. I know it’s purely psychosomatic, just saying’. The doctor also wanted some lab work, which I had to get done at a different hospital since they’re the only ones where the bloodwork is covered under my supplemental insurance. I fasted for over 12 hours and when I went yesterday morning to register my doctor had written in an invalid code. They just called and said they finally contacted him and corrected the error so I guess I’ll go without coffee again tomorrow morning. I get a little…uh…disagreeable without my morning coffee.
OK, so today is the much-overhyped Benghazi show starring the Butcher herself, Hillary Soulless Clinton. The media is fretting over how she’ll get out of this one. She hasn’t, in reality, a worry in the world. She has the entire Democrat party defending her and everybody knows it. As depressing as it is, most of us spend more time with our co-workers than with our families. Since we are stuck with these people for so much time it’s generally a good idea to treat them with a little bit of respect if for any other reason so that they do the same for you. This starts with food; never mess with a person’s lunch, especially at work where for most office drones lunch is the one sliver of happiness they get each day as they can bury their faces in some slop for a half an hour and forget about their Office Space existence.
A user over at Reddit named Toastedchillies recounts the “Revenge Porn” tale of how he took matters into his own hands and stood his ground against his wife’s office lunch thief. He says;
“I’m a bit of a chili head. Love my hot sauces. I also love to cook.”
“I also cook my wife a delicious lunch each day. She kept complaining that someone was stealing her lunch every couple of days out of the fridge at work.”
So I made her some buffalo wings for lunch to put in the fridge. They are really popular with her colleagues, but I spiced them up just a little with some Blair’s 4am Reserve. (I note you are meant to dilute it with 1 drop per 5 liters of liquid.)

Way back in 1962-63 some of us can remember the assault on our music from foreign invaders led by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Dave Clarke Five, The Kinks, etc. The grownups of that era were appalled by the music, the clothes and especially the shaggy hairstyle by these furriners. There was a time not so long ago that most of us can’t remember when the senior citizen vote was much sought after by both parties. We were generally better-educated, more affluent, and more involved in our communities. We felt it was our civic duty to vote in every election, primary or general, and we knew what referendums were on the ballot and which judges we wanted to retain.
All that’s changed. Since the advent of electronic voting, it has become easier to rig machines to get false totals, liberals have fought voter I.D. laws so they can garner multiple votes fraudulently, and with tens of millions of criminals pouring over the border who will be given the right to vote, we don’t seem to matter much anymore. By my count, flawed by the onset of senility as it may be, this marks the fourth time in eight years those of us on Social Security will not get even a pittance of an increase in our monthly benefits during the Obama reign of terror.
Before his accession to the throne there had never been a single year we did not get an increase. It became painfully obvious very quickly that he cared more about weighing down our system with more democrat parasites than the welfare of those who made this country what it once was. His profligate spending will crush the yet-unborn generation who will be burdened by the out-of-control spending by politicians who will be long gone before the reckoning comes due.
I used to joke that I would refuse to age gracefully, but rather be dragged kicking and screaming into that good night. I have resigned myself to the fact things will never get better because the willfully ignorant, slothful miscreants who vote for a living have become a permanent majority. Maybe it’s a blessing that my time passing through this world is coming to an end.

This is to allay the fears of my good friend and bestest buddy, Chrissy, who expressed concern about a comment I made about the movie Behind the Green Door. This movie was made in 1972 and was in the same genre as Deep Throat and Debbie Does Dallas. The noteworthy thing about this film was that the star, Marilyn Chambers, was the model for the box of Ivory Snow Soap Flakes.
This was during the time when movies were filmed in 16MM and shown in “art theaters” frequented largely by smelly, sweaty men wearing overcoats, loose-fitting trousers and looking much like Harry Reid and Bernie Sanders. Compared to the array of smut available today on any computer screen, these were actually funny, given the contrived plots, dialogue, the actresses all wore wigs and the actors had moustaches like David Axelrod.
Would anybody in their right mind actually take a date to one of these places? Well, OK, but it was her idea. To avoid any possible chance of someone seeing me, we went to a show in a town 30 miles east of here. The theater itself reeked of bodily secretions and heavy duty pine cleaner.
My date was a girl I went to college with, and we had done a couple theatrical productions there. To say she was outspoken would be an understatement. During the entire film she kept a running commentary loud enough for everyone to hear.

I tried to slink down in my seat as far as I could without sliding onto that nasty floor. When the movie was about over I took her hand and beat a hasty retreat out of there. As we’re heading back to the car I was looking straight ahead, not risking eye contact with any of those perverts. Once we were safely away, I asked her if she learned anything. The Chicago Cubs have called Wrigley Field home since 1918. (To the intellectually challenged, that was the year we defeated the Huns and a year before the infamous Black Sox scandal.) Up until last night they had never won a championship of any kind in that venerated shrine. While they still must face either the Dodgers or the Mets in a best-of-seven series for the National League pennant, a feat they last accomplished in 1945, to advance to the World Series, which they last won in 1908, hope still springs eternal.

October used to be baseball’s domain, the time when the rest of the sporting world understood its second-fiddle status. Football owns the month now, the vise grip of the NFL and the allure of college unrelenting, unbreakable save for the one trump card baseball can play.
“If the Chicago Cubs are participating in the playoffs, football can wait,” Cubs manager Joe Maddon said. “With what we’ve been able to accomplish here … I’d like to believe we’re putting baseball at the forefront right now.”

I watched the game, as most people in these parts did, but I happened to switch over to CNN for about 30 seconds. My string of bad luck unbroken, it was when a doddering old Communist shouted: ‘We’re sick and tired of hearing about your e-mails!’
That moment settled for all time this was a Hillary coronation. The crowd, especially the press, went wild. Hillary agreed with him and shook his hand, satisfied he’d done his job.
The catch line was so effective that a man who works at our depot came in this morning and parroted the line and exclaimed he didn’t want to hear any more about it. I said nothing, content in the fact I have a battery-operated fish in my closet that has a higher I.Q. than he does.
I would not torture you with the entire debate and there weren’t many short clips available on youtube. At least not yet.

LAS VEGAS! The city made famous by Benjamin “Bugsy” Seigle and Elvis Presley. The City That Never Sleeps. The bright lights of the strip. The gourmet buffets. Hookers that offer room service. Tonight’s fight will be bigger than Mayweather-Paquiao. Blood feud! The drama! The drinks will flow and the blood will spill!
Actually it’s just a bunch of old liberals engaging in a useless snoozefest to take up time before the Empress-In-Waiting can be officially crowned. It’s like a b-grade movie where everybody plays their part but we all know the ending. CNN enjoyed their highest ratings in history hosting the Republican debate. I see no possible way the viewing audience will extend beyond political pundits for this debacle. Our routine is having supper then watching programs on DVR that come on after our bedtime. So I’ll have to watch for the reviews on Wednesday.
