Every day is a challenge as to how to start this post. Then I realized yesterday was The Duke’s birthday. He’d be 105 if he were still with us. It’s hard to imagine (or maybe not) what he’d have to say about this president and what this country has become since he passed. Never a man to mince words, you always knew where he stood. The title is the inscription that’s on his gravestone. He was the cowboy hero every boy wanted to be and a firm supporter of the Viet Nam War when it was unpopular. We could sure use him today.
