Broken Promises Abound At State Dept.-Funded Nonprofit Run By John Kerry’s Daughter
Dr. Vanessa Kerry’s nonprofit – called Seed Global Health – pledged to send 90 volunteer doctors and nurses to between 10 and 14 Third World countries in 2016, documents obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation show. Instead, just over 70 volunteers were sent to only five countries.
The Department of State has given Seed a total of more than $9 million since 2012, which was funneled through the Peace Corps, as TheDCNF previously reported. Kerry’s nonprofit began missing contractually-required targets almost from its outset.

In a House Financial Services committee hearing Wednesday, Rep. Scott Garrett (R., N.J.) questioned Yellen about Fed governor Lael Brainard, who has donated to the Hillary Clinton campaign while serving as a sitting member of the Federal Open Market Committee, the policy arm of the Federal Reserve that meets eight times a year to vote on monetary policies such as interest rates. The Fed consistently maintains that it is an independent, non-partisan institution.

“So, Democrats block the continuing resolution, demand money for the Flint, Mich. water supply,” noted Manning. “House Republicans led by House Speaker Paul Ryan relent and agree to add it to the House water bill after that proposal was defeated in the House Rules Committee, and got nothing in return.”
“Republicans have majorities in both houses of Congress, Democrats were actively demanding extra add-ons for these bills, and they couldn’t even get a rider stopping the irreversible transition of U.S. oversight of the Internet’s domain name system,” ALG’s Manning charged. “That, even though the Department of Justice has repeatedly failed to respond to the House and Senate Judiciary Committees on a number of outstanding legal concerns with the Internet transition of U.S. oversight of the domain name system,” he said, referring to the most recent letter from Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Charles Grassley (R-Iowa) and House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.).

LA Police Union: Police Commission Wants Cops To Run From Armed Suspects
“The key facts in this case are not in dispute. A female suspect, armed with an 8 to 9-inch knife, charged at officers, repeatedly ignored commands to stop, and was recorded yelling ‘shoot me’ as she swung her knife from side to side,” the LAPPL Board of Directors wrote in a blog post.
The armed suspect immediately closed the space between her knife and the police officers from 70 feet to no more than 5 feet in less 10 seconds. At this point, the first officer shot from his service weapon.

The Weekend Wrapup

FIRST OFF, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ONE OF MY DEAREST FRIENDS IN THE WHOLE WORLD, TING. U R THE BEST!
What a beautiful weekend it was. Saturday, the Winnebago 8th graders put up a valiant but unsuccessful effort to upset the powerful Stillman Valley team. In Sunday’s first softball contest Big Sis’ team came from behind, scoring two runs in the bottom of the final inning to triumph 5-4. The second game saw Miss Karissa’s Thunder team vanquish the girls from Team Arby’s by a score of 23-10 (it was 23-1 before the manager put in all substitutes). The cherry on the Sunday sundae was the Green Bay Slackers falling to the Minnesota Vikings 17-14 Sunday Night.
Meanwhile, back in the world I choose not to live in, the Enslaved Press is in full protective mode for Hillary and she and Barry have once again proven that elections take precedence over dead Americans and waves of terror attacks. Two were perpetrated by an immigrant from Afghanistan who, sadly, has not yet met Allah and cashed in on his 72 vestal goats.
Three Terror Attacks In One Day: It’s Time For Liberals To Step Aside

Let’s recap yesterday’s round of cultural enrichment.
First, we had a terror attack in Seaside Park, New Jersey. The pipe bomb was set to go off next to thousands of racers running by in a 5k charity race for Marines. Had it not been for a late start, we’d be talking about #NewJerseyStrong and the deaths of hundreds of our fellow Americans.
Second, a Muslim Jihadist went on a stabbing rampage at a mall in St. Cloud, Minnesota. He went around asking people if they were Muslim and if they answered no, he stabbed them yelling “Allahu Akbar”. He’s instructed to do this by Allah.
Then, at around 8:30pm, an IED went off outside an apartment building in NYC sending shrapnel into the bodies of 29 people. A second IED, made from a pressure cooker, was later found with a cell phone attached two blocks away.

The man wanted in connection for two bombings and an attempted bombing in New York and New Jersey this weekend has been arrested after a shootout with police.

A bar owner in Linden, New Jersey called police around 11am Monday morning, after finding 28-year-old Ahmad Khan Rahami sleeping in the entryway of his business.

When police arrived on the scene, Rahami brandished a weapon and started shooting at the cops – injuring two. Officers eventually shot Rahami in the right shoulder and he was taken from the scene in an ambulance, handcuffed to a stretcher.

Police released Rahami’s picture Monday morning, saying he was wanted for questioning in connection to the Saturday bombings in New York City and Seaside Park, New Jersey, as well as the foiled bombing of the Elizabeth, New Jersey train station on Sunday. Law enforcement say it was fingerprints left behind on an unexploded pressure cooker bomb in Manhattan that led them to Rahami. Twenty-nine people were injured when another bomb placed a few blocks away was detonated Saturday night.

Clinton’s strategy is focused firmly on the eastern part of the state. Obama won 85 percent of the vote in Philadelphia in 2012, and Clinton has her sights set on coming as close as she can to his performance there while also outperforming Obama in the four suburban counties bordering the city.

The Reverend Faith Timmons-Green, pastor of Bethel United Methodist church in Flint, Michigan, invited Donald Trump to come and speak to her congregation. Trump graciously accepted, thinking they truly wanted to hear what he had to say.

The Rev. Faith Green Timmons came on stage and stopped Trump in the middle of his remarks at Bethel United Methodist Church.
She told him to stay focused on the water crisis and not Hillary Clinton.
“I invited you here to thank us for what we’ve done in Flint, not give a political speech,” the reverend told Mr. Trump.
Trump graciously complied with her demand.
But it appears the church’s pastor may have all been a great big set up.

Good times and bad; euphoria and depression. Life is a constant rhythm of ebb and flow. What separates us from the lower life forms, like reptiles, rodents, and democrats is how we ride the waves and stay afloat and in our right mind.

Monday the fifth team of cable geniuses visited at my request, after I complained about the poor internet service I was getting. I tried to tell them the modem they gave me a month ago after they had cut my cable by mistake was a piece of garbage. They gave me another one, which worked no better. My tech guy had even brought me a new tower with twice the RAM my old machine had and saw no difference. After I went on a classic rant about it not being fair I’ve suffered for a full month because of their mistakes the guy said he didn’t have any different modems with him and that his supervisor would have to intercede.

I received a call from the super about an hour later. After explaining the situation he said he’d go to the warehouse and see what he could find. He came up with a modem for commercial use which didn’t have WiFi, which I didn’t need since I have no personal devices and don’t have a laptop. The same two guys came back to hook it up and it worked fine. God was in His Heaven and everything was right with the world. Then, I got up yesterday morning and Chrome was fine, Firefox was fine, but Internet Explorer had crashed. After spending two hours on the phone with my tech guy nothing worked. His vehicle was in the shop, so I went across town to pick him up and bring him over. He ended up having to uninstall Windows 11 and re-install it. It took care of the situation but it wiped out all my bookmarks and my photo files. I had to call him back to explain how to drag and drop my files so I could view them separately. So went another day of my life I’ll never get back.

It’s Monday. A couple more geniuses from Comcast just left here. Installed another piece of crap modem. Pages should be loading in seconds, but they’re still loading slowly or not at all. After my cable was cut by mistake the next two clowns who came to reconnect my service proceeded to grab the modem that worked fine and replace it with a piece of junk. Today’s geniuses were the fifth attempt to get my service right… still couldn’t do it. Blew me off by telling me they’d have to have their supervisor contact me because the problem was “above their pay grade.” Here I sit, holding my breath waiting for a supervisor to call me right away.
