We’re still here. And we vote.

About one in four Americans support the Tea Party. And because of our interest and motivation, we are a powerful force both within the Republican Party and as an identifiable American voter bloc.

2014_09 30 GALLUP issues and voter motivation poll

Looking at these numbers strongly suggests to me that, as a group, we Tea Partiers are by far the more informed on what actually makes the economy WORK.

E.g., the left-wing wants good jobs, but their high rankings for the non-existent gender pay gap and job-killing redistribution of wealth policies make it very clear they actually believe the Star Trek cashless economy could ever work outside a monastery.

Also notice how Tea Partiers put availability of good jobs down at #8. An uninformed conclusion from this would be that we don’t give a crap about people being out of work; however, the reality is that all of the issues ranked higher (high taxes, illegal workers competing for jobs, Obamacare punishing employers, and instability of foreign oil markets) directly impact the availability of good jobs.

Meanwhile, the non-Tea Party Republicans (who have given only slightly more thought/study to the issues) place availability of good jobs at #2, but delegate the issues that actually affect job creation way below.

I really wish more people read Thomas Sowell.

Ten Buck Friday – Week Eight of the Coming Democrat Trainwreck

Ten Buck Briday Democrat Trainwreck
Week Eight of a Nine Week Mission, to Seek new life for the Senate, to Boldly send Harry Reid empty handed back to Searchlight!

Those of us who are paying attention have seen positive trends on the majority, if not all, of our Ten Buck Friday candidates. In the words of that noted political analyst, Han Solo: “Don’t get cocky!”

Focusing on the Senate races, is it worth ten bucks a week to you (a paperback book and a biscotti?) to eliminate Reid’s control and give the Senate responsible leadership again?

With that in mind, this week we look to the Senate seat in New Hampshire. Can you contribute just $10 to Senate candidate Scott Brown ?

Real Clear Politics has Brown down by 1.6 (up 3 points from a week ago) but rates the race as a toss up.

You can contribute to Scott Brown here. Good luck and Godspeed, Scott!

Also consider these other important close races!
Contribute to Cory Gardner (CO) Here
Contribute to Tom Cotton (AR) Here
Contribute to Joni Ernst (IA) Here
Contribute to Bill Cassidy (LA) Here
Contribute to Thom Tillis (NC) Here

If you are unable to make a contribution, you can help the candidate(s) tremendously by encouraging friends, family, neighbors and/or co-workers to vote. Volunteer your valuable time. Put up a campaign sign in your yard. Make sure you go to the polls. We cannot afford to sit this election out.

(If you mark your contribution as “Ten Buck Friday”, they’ll see if the blogosphere can give them a little bump.)

With friends like FLOTUS …

Michelle Obama is more popular than her husband on the campaign circuit, but that doesn’t mean she’s a huge asset.

On October 10, she called Bruce Braley, the Democrat’s candidate for Senate in Iowa, “Bruce Bailey” … seven times. Eleven days later, she returned to Iowa, where she poked fun at herself for getting Braley’s name wrong, then her staff sent out a copy of her remarks with the heading “Democratic candidate for governor Bruce Braley.”

Michelle refers to Mark Udall as a “Fifth-Generation Coloradan.”

Michelle also said, “We will get Mark Udall into office.”

SENATOR Mark Udall was born in Arizona and moved to Colorado only after he had graduated from college. His opponent, Cory Gardner, however … now HE actually is a fifth-generation Coloradan.

“I can’t be a Christian and stay in the Democrat party.”

82 Yr Old Grandmother Voting Straight Republican; Tired of Democrats [2:06]

October 22, 2014: Joyce, an 82 year old lifelong black Democrat called C-Span to express her dismay with her party and announce that she voted straight Republican this year. She is dismayed with the Democrats stance on religion, abortion, and the poor effects of Obama’s policies on the black community and the country.

“I have noticed in years what the Democratic party has done to my people. Unemployment is higher in the black community….than anywhere else.

I cannot say, there’s no way I can continue to say that I was a Christian and stay in the Democrat party. They advocate the killing of babies, they advocate taking from the doers and giving to the ones sitting doing nothing…….”

She continued by saying that it is not racist to say that Obama isn’t an effective President. She said it is foolish to play the race card.

“This man is destroying this country…He said he was going to transform American and that is what he is doing.”

Donna Brazile’s Big Ass

Sorry for the unpleasant image, but I am SO DISGUSTED by this.

2014_10 18 Brazile big ass lie

James O’Keefe, the guerilla filmmaker who brought down the ACORN voter-registration fraudsters in 2010 and forced the resignation of NPR executives, has just released new footage.

Project Veritas: Mark Udall Advocates Condone Voter Fraud

The following is from John Fund, co-author of Who’s Counting? How Fraudsters and Bureaucrats Put Your Vote at Risk.

“Secretary of State Gessler had futile arguments with Democratic state legislators last year who insisted on ramming a bill through that mandated Colorado become the only state in the nation with both all-mail balloting and same-day registration. Under same-day registration someone can register to vote online, have a mail ballot sent to them, and never physically show up to register or vote. Other places that use same-day registration treat the vote as a provisional ballot pending verification. Colorado immediately counts the vote and there is no way to separate it out if the person who votes is later found ineligible.”

“Last December, New York City’s Department of Investigation detailed how its undercover agents claimed at 63 polling places to be individuals who were in fact dead, had moved out of town, or who were in jail. In 61 instances, or 97 percent of the time, they were allowed to vote. (To avoid skewing results, they voted only for nonexistent write-in candidates.) How did the city’s Board of Elections respond? Did it immediately probe and reform their sloppy procedures? Not at all. It instead demanded that the investigators be prosecuted.”

“In 2008, the Supreme Court upheld the constitutionality of voter-ID laws in a 6–3 opinion written by John Paul Stevens, then the most liberal member of the court. He noted that the record ‘demonstrates that not only is the risk of voter fraud real but that it could affect the outcome of a close election’. Stevens had witnessed the Daley machine up close manipulate local elections through fraud and chicanery during a distinguished legal career in Chicago that included serving both as a special counsel to a commission rooting out corruption and as a judge.”

Obama Bumper Sticker Removal Kit [1:28]

October 13, 2014:  The Democrat’s candidate for Kentucky’s 2014 U.S. Senate seat, Alison Lundergan-Grimes, had no problem in the past saying that she voted for HRC in the 2008 primary.  Now, though, she has decided her presidential votes in 2008 and 2012 are too “sacred” to reveal.   Or something.

October 14, 2014: The Democrat’s candidate for Georgia’s 2014 U.S. Senate seat, Michelle Nunn, has likewise refused to answer whether she voted for Obama in 2008 and/or 2012.

October 17, 2014: The Democrat’s candidate for West Virginia’s 2014 U.S. Senate seat, Natalie Tennant, would not mention President Obama by name when asked, answering that she had voted “for the Democratic party” before changing the subject.

October 19, 2014:  Shortly after Obama began speaking at a campaign rally, a “noticeable and noisy” number of people in the audience got up and walked out.

Bruce Braley: Democrat Pro-Abort and Liar

Some people will say anything to get elected, but it is what they have done that tells us the most about what they will do if elected. In the case of Iowa’s Democratic senatorial candidate Bruce Braley, what he’s DONE proves that he’s the kind of radical abortion supporter who would turn a blind eye to the likes of Kermit Gosnell.
