Here’s a news flash, Cockroach-IN-Chief: Your “vigilance” toward militant Islamic terrorism was ZERO. ZERO times TWO was ZERO. Redoubling it still equals ZERO.

Also from Fox News Update: “The president wouldn’t say the name of ‘radical Islam’ and instead chose to be facile in denouncing ‘whatever ideology they are operating off of’ as ‘bankrupt’. Hmmm. Which ideology is it again? Are they feminists? Dadaists? Jacobites? Maybe Jedis?”

Probably Right-Wingnut, Climate-Denying, Tea Party-ists. If you doubt me, ask Brian Williams. He never ever lies about anything.

Now comes word that Obama chose the National Prayer Breakfast to rant at American Christians about not getting all high-moral-horsey about ISIS atrocities because, you know, the Crusades and slavery and Jim Crow laws.

Ummmmmmmmmmm … Muslims invaded Christian nations. Last I heard, even Democrats didn’t have a problem with people defending themselves from aggression.

As for slavery, Christians ended it while Muslims still practice it. And don’t get me started on Jim Crow laws (and the KKK) which were, you know, entirely a DEMOCRAT phenomenon.

February 3, 2015: Washington (CNN) – President Barack Obama said a new video that purports to show ISIS burning a Jordanian pilot alive in a cage is “just one more indication of the viciousness and barbarity of this organization. And it, I think, will redouble the vigilance and determination on the part of a global coalition to make sure that they are degraded and ultimately defeated.  It also just indicates the degree to which WHATEVER IDEOLOGY THEY’RE OPERATING OFF OF, IT’S BANKRUPT.”  (CtH: CAPS mine)

Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California, the top-ranking Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, said the execution should “unite a coalition against ISIS. If you let this kind of brutality dominate, whether it’s the Middle East or North Africa, whether it’s the world, just think of what the world and those areas will be like. The brutality, I think, is unprecedented.”  (“Will be like”? Has she been keeping up with the news?! Good grief!)

Lt. Gen. Vincent Stewart, Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, told the House Armed Services Committee, that ISIS has been able to extend its reach beyond its bases in Iraq and Syria. “With affiliates in Algeria, Egypt, Libya, the group is beginning to assemble a growing international footprint that includes ungoverned and under governed areas” and that the numbers of foreign fighters flowing in and out of Iraq and Syria is “troubling.”

Daesh (pron Die-esh) is the new name for the terrorist organization formerly known as the “Islamic State” (aka, ISIS or ISIL). “Islamic State” serves to legitimize the group, so world leaders have adopted “Daesh” instead. The new name is derived from the Arabic name by which these terrorist thugs refer to themselves.

They have threatened to “cut out the tongues” to those who refer to them as “Daesh.” They have yet to mention if this includes the written word. ISIS is hiring foreign doctors to harvest organs in hospitals in Iraq and Syria not just from their own dead militants, but also from LIVE captives. They then sell them into the global black organ market to help finance their war on everything that is decent and good in this world.

This story broke in the UK, not here. Here, the media is too busy agonizing over dead thugs and 5 minutes of waterboarding that happened more than 10 years ago.

ISIS uses religion to justify sex slavery

ISIS has produced a pamphlet explaining its justification for enslaving non-Muslim women for sex. The video below is from a CNN report about the pamphlet and how it only represents an extremist, minority version of Islam. I find it very intriguing that the Left is so careful to make this distinction about Islam, while consistently perpetuating as normative various extremist, minority versions of Christianity.

Question 2: What makes al-sabi permissible?
What makes al-sabi permissible [i.e., what makes it permissible to take such a woman captive] is [her] unbelief. Unbelieving [women] who were captured and brought into the abode of Islam are permissible to us, after the imam distributes them [among us].

Question 4: Is it permissible to have intercourse with a female captive?
It is permissible to have sexual intercourse with the female captive. Allah the almighty said: ‘[Successful are the believers] who guard their chastity, except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then they are free from blame [Koran 23:5-6]’…

Question 5: Is it permissible to have intercourse with a female captive immediately after taking possession [of her]?
If she is a virgin, he [her master] can have intercourse with her immediately after taking possession of her. However, is she isn’t, her uterus must be purified [first]…

Question 6: Is it permissible to sell a female captive?
It is permissible to buy, sell, or give as a gift female captives and slaves, for they are merely property, which can be disposed of [as long as that doesn’t cause [the Muslim ummah] any harm or damage.

Question 13: Is it permissible to have intercourse with a female slave who has not reached puberty?
It is permissible to have intercourse with the female slave who hasn’t reached puberty if she is fit for intercourse; however if she is not fit for intercourse, then it is enough to enjoy her without intercourse.

Second Military Rescue Attempt in Two Weeks Fails with Two Hostages Dead in Yemen

British-born American photographer Luke Somers was killed by his captors early this morning during a U.S. Navy SEAL Team Six rescue attempt. A South African hostage, Pierre Korkie, was also killed. Quoted by the NY Times, President Obama said in a statement:

It is my highest responsibility to do everything possible to protect American citizens. As this and previous hostage rescue operations demonstrate, the United States will spare no effort to use all of its military, intelligence and diplomatic capabilities to bring Americans home safely, wherever they are located.

The President made no mention of his earlier failure to approve a rescue attempt for James Foley and Steven Sotloff until it was delayed for over a month and was eventually canceled. Those hostages were eventually beheaded on video. He also was vague about his role in repeated “stand down” orders that allowed Americans, including a U.S. Ambassador, to be slaughtered in Benghazi, Libya a few years ago. Further, his strong statement was immediately contradicted by political analysts, speaking anonymously, who assured members of the Press that this failure makes it almost certain that the President will never approve another rescue attempt again out of fear of this kind of failure. In short, nothing the President said this morning has even the remotest chance of resembling any kind of truth, so we can expect it to be widely reported today with total acceptance and enthusiasm by all Media except Fox News and the Jerusalem Post.  Image of Sana’a, Yemen by GetInTravel.

This will put the fear of God into you. On November 6, 2014, the Wall Street Journal reported that President Obama secretly wrote a letter last month to Iran’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei saying he wanted to link cooperation in the fight against the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria to a nuclear deal.

Nov 8, 2014: Former Israeli Ambassador to the UN Dan Gillerman blasted Barack Obama today on America’s News HQ. The former Ambassador told Uma Pemmaraju Obama’s letter to Ayatollah Khamenei is shameful and “a letter of appeasement.”

“Israel is very upset and very surprised because that letter is really a letter of appeasement. It’s sleeping with the enemy the morning after sending him a love letter. And, as we know it it not the first time. It is probably the fourth communication between the president and the Iranian leadership. It totally disregards the fact that the recipient of that letter is a terror state which perpetrates, harbors, finances terror all over the world… To do this is a sign of weakness. The message it sends out to its allies, to America’s allies, especially to Israel is a message of weakness, of a weak America. And, the worse thing is the message it sends out to the Iranians is how eager the United States is to that deal. How eager the United States is to this evil, fundamentalist, cruel, extreme, cynical regime in Tehran… Neville Chamberlain… And what it says to America’s allies is they cannot rely on the United States and what it says to America’s enemies is that they can get away with murder… This is very dangerous… I think it’s a sign of desperation…”

ISIS Gloats over Beheaded ‘Rehana’

RihIt is now almost certain that renowned female Kurdish freedom fighter, known by her pseudonym ‘Rehana,’ has not survived the battle of Kobane and has been beheaded by ISIS troops. This has been reported by various international sources, including the AP, the Daily Mail, and the Herald Sun in Australia, although the Kurdish Women’s Defence Unit, or YPJ, has issued no official confirmation. If you would rather not see the ISIS photo, know that her face looks appropriately pleased and at peace while the ISIS fighter just looks like an idiot.

Although this woman has achieved worldwide notoriety by killing over 100 ISIS fighters, according to journalist Pawan Durani, in defense of Kurdish territory, her death is a blow to the morale of the Kurd fighters. The DC Gazette eulogizes her thusly:

“Thank you Rehana for your bravery and willingness to both kill and be killed fighting this particular manifestation of Islamic fundamentalist evil that has raped and slaughtered its way across your homeland. May your bravery, story, and sacrifice be an inspiration to a great many others in this fight.”
