NEW YORK CITY: Tens of thousands of people were permitted to gather for a protest outside the Brooklyn Museum on Eastern Parkway, to rally against racial discrimination.

But the hundreds of contact tracing workers hired by the city under de Blasio’s new “test and trace” campaign have been instructed not to ask anyone who’s tested positive for COVID-19 whether they recently attended a demonstration or protest.

Meanwhile, Jewish children are being singled out for having had the unmitigated gall to PROTEST against continued city restrictions on playgrounds and parks.

NEVER TRUMPERS: Republican Voters Against Trump, a new addition to the Never Trump ecosphere, is planning to spend $10 million on television and digital advertising in key battleground states.

The group is focused on transforming Republican voters who backed Trump in 2016 into supporters of presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden.

NEVER TRUMPERS: Recently, a disturbing array of retired generals have leveled serious accusations against Trump and called for him to be removed from office.

Retired and active duty military questioned why the vocal four-star officers previously remained silent on issues and policies that sent American troops to their deaths.

“I thought our leaders are supposed to be neutral,” one soldier said. “They are acting like political partisans. That, and the level of groupthink mob mentality, shakes me to my core.”

Another noted the disturbing and sudden rush by retired flag officers to call the Commander-in-chief “the greatest threat” just now “while rioters loot and burn the country, while anarchists attempt to take over an American city, and while many are now calling for the abolition of entire police departments.”

John Dowd, a former Marine Corps Judge Advocate and former Trump legal advisor, said that these men are violating the UCMJ, which prohibits such behavior.

“They’re all subject to recall. They’re subject to the Uniform Code of Military Justice until they die.”

In the newly formed principality of CHAZ (the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone), the only thing actively being produced is irony – and plenty of it. The leader (an admittedly hazy distinction) is a local rapper with an AK-47 and enough gold rings to pay for all of the commune’s needs…if he was willing to give them up, which he’s not. Apparently seizing his property for the people is still unacceptable.

CHAZ has erected border walls to keep out foreigners and demands voter-unfriendly (and likely racist) photo IDs at checkpoints. The local citizenry divides its time between demanding that all land be seized for communal farming, and begging for food that someone else has produced. To paraphrase Steve Martin in “The Jerk,” land and freedom and autonomy are all they need. And food and ice and Gatorade. That’s all! Land and freedom and autonomy and food and ice and Gatorade are all they need. And Cigarettes. And clothes. Land and freedom and autonomy and food and ice and Garorade and cigarettes and clothes and shoes and solar chargers and pillows and flashlights and Tracfone minutes and folding chairs and body lotion. That’s all! And disinfectant.

While we’ve previously suggested going Branch Davidian on these numbnuts, our better angels have spoken to us and we now realize that this situation should be handled non-violently. So rather than drag them out of CHAZ, we keep them in. As in permanently. And we cut off the flow of all of those items that they want for free but haven’t earned.

Let them break up the streets and plant their crops. Let them turn dumpsters into dwellings. Let them defecate on the sidewalks and drink rainwater from the gutters. And let them see just how long one a**hole can hold on to his gold rings without help from the police.

For a small amount of perspective for snowflakes during these crazy times, imagine you were an American born in 1900. When you are 14, World War I starts, and ends on your 18th birthday with 22 million people killed. Later in the year, a Spanish Flu epidemic hits the planet and runs until you are 20. Fifty million people die from it in those two years. Yes, 50 million.

When you’re 29, the Great Depression begins. Unemployment hits 25%, global GDP drops 27%. That runs until you are 33. And there was no welfare, food stamps or bailout money. You were mostly on your own. The country nearly collapses along with the world economy. When you turn 39, World War II starts. You aren’t even over the hill yet.

When you’re 41, the United States is fully pulled into WWII. Between your 39th and 45th birthday, 75 million people perish in the war and the Holocaust kills six million. At 52, the Korean War starts and five million perish.

At 64 the Vietnam War begins, and it doesn’t end for many years. Four million people die in that conflict. Approaching your 62nd birthday you have the Cuban Missile Crisis, a tipping point in the Cold War. Life on our planet, as we know it, could well have ended. Great leaders prevented that from happening.

As you turn 75, the Vietnam War finally ends. Think of everyone on the planet born in 1900. How do you survive all of that? A kid in 1985 didn’t think their 85 year old grandparent understood how hard school was. Yet those grandparents (and now great grandparents) survived through everything listed above.

Perspective is an amazing art. Let’s try and keep things in perspective. Let’s be smart, help each other out, and we will get through all of this. In the history of the world, there has never been a storm that lasted. This too shall pass.

The Neon Revolt Show: [27:50] This is a good overview of the madness that has befallen Seattle. It’s well worth your time, even if the moving neon doorway thing is incredibly annoying. You don’t actually need to look at it. He reads aloud all the stuff he posts (on top of the annoying neon).

Do not miss the section at around 11 minutes where some of the citizens of CHAZ attempt to call the Seattle PD to get help with Raz, the armed thug who has declared himself the CHAZ chief of police. Or maybe he’s declared himself king now.

Progressives want us to believe that they’ve all about peace and love. They preach “no borders” and “gun control”, as if those things would bring about global harmony. They also claim that the atrocities committed by every progressive government wouldn’t happen here, that it just hasn’t been done “right” yet.

Well, now it’s happened here, in Seattle. And it looks EXACTLY like it does everywhere else it’s been tried.
