Smoking banned in public housing nationwide, effective today
The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) now prohibits the use of cigarettes, cigars and pipes in all public housing units and common areas, as well as any outdoor areas up to 25 feet from public housing and administrative office buildings. The ban does not apply to e-cigarettes, snuff and chewing tobacco, although there may be restrictions on those in some areas. Continue reading

American Christian Pastor Released After 21 Months in Turkish Prison
The last I had read Erdogan had refused to release him. Add Pastor Brunson to the list of those this president has freed from tyranny.
We have confirmed that the Turkish government has issued an order releasing Pastor Andrew from prison and allowing him to be returned to his home in Turkey. This is a critical first step that we believe will result in the freedom of Pastor Andrew so he can return to the United States and be reunited with his family.

TRUMP APPROVAL: President Trump’s approval rating reached an all-time high of 45% in the latest Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll. That’s up 1 point from their June poll. Of the last four presidents, only George W. Bush, after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, had a higher approval rating than Trump at the same point in his presidency.

The Washington Post asked locals at a southern Baptist church in Alabama why they voted for President Donald Trump despite that the former reality TV star’s conduct. Their answer was short and to the point.
“She has contempt for people like me, and Clay, and people who love God and believe in the Second Amendment. I think if she had her way it would be a dangerous country for the likes of me.”
