Update:it was a beautiful late summer Saturday afternoon.The fifth graders from Winnebago Middle School took to the gridiron to face the powerhouse team from Stillman Valley.Thier best player was a half-head taller than anybody else on the team and had long blonde hair.I told DD I was surprised they let boys grow their hair that long in these small towns.She said it wasn’t a boy.It was a girl and she was fierce.The ‘Bago boys fought valiantly but fell 0-36 to drop their record to 0-4.Dad and stepdad tried to cheer grandson up by telling him they won or lost as a team and the blocks and tackles he missed were not the cause of them losing.Then granddad imparted some wisdom on him.

Yeah.

You wanna come back and play again next week?

Yeah.

That’s what matters.This is fun.If it was work,they’d call it work.They don’t.Its fun.When you’re old enough to work you can worry about making mistakes.Right now you’re supposed to have fun.Mom and dad will take care of the work stuff.

That seemed to be enough to get him out of his funk for awhile,anyway.Growing up is hard enough. There’s no sense putting pressure on the kids

Foremost,Putin and Assad jump on Kerry’s idiotic statement to allow Bashir to agree to hand over chemical weapons to the UN.

This shows Obumbler to be an ineffective,incompetent,dithering fool.Barry doesn’t care….he needn’t face rejection in the Senate and House and he’ll be given full credit for his amazing “diplomacy” by his boot-licking sycophants.Hopefully this is not over.

Obama is going on 6 networks today to try to sell a barrel of his snake oil.The only one he skipped was MSNBC.It would have been embarrassing to do an interview with Tingles humping his leg.One thing is certain….he may get a Yea vote in the Senate if the dems all fall on their swords along with the usual RINO backstabbers,but he has virtually no chance in the House.Question is,will he bomb anyway?To me,that would be an indication that the muzzie in chief has intended to spark civil wars in the Middle East all along.Much,much more to come.

I was ready to start posting yesterday when DW came into the mancave looking very shaken up.She said that the last two days she’d woken up with no feeling on the left side of her face.All she could think was that she’d had a stroke.I told her it looked like when my older cousin contracted Bells Palsy.We called our doctor,who was not in the office and they advised us to go to the hospital.After 5 hours and a lot of tests,the MD on call concurred with my diagnosis of Bells Palsy,along with an abraded cornea since she can’t close her eye completely.When I went to bed I gave thanks to my Redeemer that it wasn’t any worse than it was for my best friend and life partner.We went to get her medication this morning and the generic was $183 for 20 pills.We called the hospital and there is nothing cheaper.We’ll get by somehow….we always do.You just have to figure out what your priorities are.
