MEDIA FAIL: Trashing Carson Backfires on Dems

2015_10 Media bias jackass Ramirez

This week’s all-out media assault on Ben Carson’s honesty and integrity has yielded big gains for Carson’s campaign. Disgusted voters sent him $3.5 million dollars, much of it from a wide spectrum of small, grassroots donors.  Conservative Intel described Carson’s mailing list “the stuff of legend among political professionals and rival campaigns.”

MEDIA FAIL: It’s all about PARTY

Remember all those times we were accused of being dirty racists for wanting to know about Obama’s past?  Remember how the media never ever let Dan Quayle off the hook for that time he misspelled “potato”?

CARSON first black prez college

Obama was touted as the “smartest kid in the class”, “smartest man in any room”, and “smartest man with the highest IQ ever to be elected to the presidency”, but there is absolutely no evidence that any of that is remotely true.

He has never allowed his academic transcripts and various test scores to be made public. But if reporters dig hard enough, they can often get such things leaked. The MSM didn’t bother; they just kept repeating the “smartest” meme and said voters who wanted to see documentation were being racists.

The evidence we have public access to suggests Obama is nothing special in the brains department. Yes, he graduated from Harvard, but so did both George W. Bush and Mitt Romney. Obama earned a law degree; Bush earned a business degree; Romney earned both simultaneously.

Remember when Lefties proffered as proof of Dubya’s alleged stupidity that he pronounced nuclear “nucular”? Remember when they totally ignored it when Barry O said “corpse-man” in the same speech where he got the corpsman’s name wrong?

I have a DVD in which a Ph.D. in Nuclear Science also pronounces the word “nucular” … repeatedly. It’s nothing more than a regional dialect thing. So far as I know, “corpse-man” is just absurdly, offensively wrong, particularly coming from the Commander-in-Chief who should know how to pronounce military ranks, dontchathink?

Obama reads “Corpsman” as “Corpse Man”, Gets the Man’s Name Wrong [:54]

The MSM’s faux outrage over Ben Carson suggesting he was once offered a “full scholarship” to West Point falls flat with anyone who remembers how they ignored the time Obama said that there are 57 states in the U.S., and the time he said that the leader of Canada is a “president”, and those times when he said that the language of Austria is “Austrian” and the language of Afghanistan is Arabic, and that time he said that America is “20 centuries” old, and that time when he said 10,000 people had been killed by a Kansas tornado that actually killed 12, and that time he credited 1965 Selma march for inspiring his birth in 1961.

The stinking media even yawned that time he said it would be “unprecedented” for the Supreme Court to invalidate a law passed by Congress. I mean … really? Shouldn’t a former “professor of constitutional law” know more about … you know … constitutional law?

Yes, Obama was elected president of the Harvard Law Review, but it was at a time when popularity and being black mattered more than scholarship. He had no scholarship to speak of, having published only one short, poorly written article for the HLR.

After graduation, he joined an undistinguished law firm, where he tried no cases. He was also never more than a part time instructor at the University of Chicago Law School. The tenured law professors reportedly hated him because he was “lazy, unqualified.” One said that he “had the lowest intellectual capacity in the building.”

Obama was also lauded for his elocutionary skills. But when he’s off the teleprompter, he often rambles, loses his train of thought, and says “uh uh uh” a lot. His beautifully written first autobiography was demonstrably written mostly by Bill Ayers and his second book is as ineloquent as his off-prompter speechifying.

The only liars are Hillary Clinton and her shills in the media

2015_11 07 Journalistic Malpractice

While Politico and the rest of the Left Stream Media work on tarnishing Carson’s reputation as an honest and trustworthy person, they’ve been giving serial liar Hillary Clinton a total pass for decades.

They didn’t quibble when she said she once tried to join the Marines. Given her high profile antagonism toward the military, that one should have been a jaw dropper. According to her fanciful tale, the Marine recruiter she talked to told her to go away because, “You’re too old, you can’t see and you’re a woman.”

Since it furthered her “female as victim of white male oppression” status, the All Democrat Media let it slide. Ditto her latest whacky tale about having written to NASA when she was 13 saying she wanted to be an astronaut. Supposedly, NASA wrote back saying she couldn’t go into space, because she was a girl. Such a letter would have been illegal under federal law, but hey, glass ceilings and all that.

If these so-called journalists are so interested in the veracity of presidential candidates, maybe they could revisit that sniper fire story from 2008. The MSM cared about her lying back in 2008 because Barack Obama had been coronated by the Democrat machine. Now … Carson’s mistaking a dinner date matters. Totally made up bullets, not so much.

Purveyors of Monkey Poo

Dr. Ben Carson bluntly confronted CNN anchor Alisyn Camerota over media bias on Friday when she pressed him to clarify his comments suggesting the U.S. would be “Cuba” if Fox News didn’t exist.

“I really don’t know what you’re talking about,” Camerota said. “Fox News came to dominance in 2001. You think before 2001 the U.S. was a communist country?”

CAT is there a name PN

Feeling the anchor was already taking his words out of context, Carson suggested she unknowingly made his point about media bias.

Carson replied sharply, “That’s not what I said, but that’s what you guys love to do.”

Liberal talking points - monkey poo

When Camerota began interrupting him, Carson cut her off and told her to “listen” so he could explain the meaning of his remarks.

“What I am saying is that the general mainstream media all seems to move in a secular progressive direction,” Carson said. “You know, they would like to create a narrative that certain things are good and certain things are bad according to the way that they see them. And by being able to be the bully pulpit so to speak…you can get a lot of people to start thinking the way that you do.”

But then Fox News came along and offered an “alternative” viewpoint, Carson said.

“If we didn’t have that counterbalance — I wish we didn’t need that counterbalance,” he added. “The media is supposed to be neutral and they’re supposed to be on the side of the people…but because they have become very partisan and very ideological, you need to have a counterbalance.”

Targeting GOP Candidates: Media Bias in a Nutshell

First, this appears.

556da-ca11

Note who is deemed most honest and trustworthy and who is deemed least.

One guess what happens next?

Yep. Politico fabricates a story about how Ben Carson is a Big Fat Liar! The gist is that Carson wrote in his autobiography that, when he was in high school JROTC, he got to meet General Westmoreland, who offered him “a full scholarship” to West Point. Carson told him thanks, but no thanks. He wanted to go into medicine, so never even applied to West Point.

The sticking point? West Point is free. Ergo, no “scholarship” could have been offered.

The stupidity of the story? Carson may have never been aware of this fact. Westmoreland tried to recruit him for the academy, no doubt mentioned it would cost him nothing, and Carson (who never pursued it) interpreted that to mean “full scholarship.”

Well, gosh. Until I read this story, I didn’t know West Point was free either.

So Politico gets called out on THEIR Big Fat Lie and alters the headline and key paragraph. When a story is altered, it’s protocol to put a timed and dated line somewhere explaining what was changed. Politico … that stickler for all things “proper” (like not saying “scholarship”) … didn’t bother with protocol. Oh my goodness.  That’s almost like fabricating, isn’t it?

2015_11 06 Politico changes headline

Remember that poll I posted above? Politico put out a second story as a kind of companion to the Carson lie. And wouldn’t you know … it was about the Democrat candidate who was deemed least honest and trustworthy.  What a coinkidink!

Politico’s headline started out as “SCOOP: Intelligence chief’s office concludes key Hillary Clinton emails claimed to be ‘TOP SECRET’ were not.”

Since that was a Big Fat Lie, Politico later changed it to “Source: Key Clinton emails did not contain highly classified secrets.”

Reading the story reveals the whole thing is even more flimsy and “shore up that Lying Liar Hillary” biased.

A. An anonymous source allegedly told Politico that the intelligence community has decided the State Dept was right about the classification level of two of Hillary’s emails.

B. When asked about it, State Department spokesman John Kirby said, “As far as I know we’ve received no final decision by the intelligence community with respect to these two emails. As far as we know, that process is ongoing.”

But wait! Stop the presses! Carson’s campaign has admitted that Carson met with Westmoreland in February 1969, not May 1969, as Carson stated in his 1990 autobiography!

Oh noes! How can we ever TRUST a man who misremembers exactly when he had dinner with a guy after more than twenty years?

THE CHARACTER ASSASSINATION MACHINE

The fourth Republican debate will be held Tuesday, Nov. 19 on Fox Business channel. I have all the channels so I could watch it if I were so inclined. Gov. Krispy Kreme and Huckabee have been relegated to the triple-A farm team and Pataki and Grahamnesty didn’t even make the cut. They were traded to the democrats for two chickens, a flat tire, and a cheese sandwich.
There’s an old saying if you’re drawing fire you must be over the target. It is also well known that the left will always tell you who they’re afraid of. CNN is the advance team of hitmen aiming to destroy Dr. Ben Carson. They have set about dissecting every word he’s ever spoken with the intent of trying to implicate him as a liar. Given the complete and total pass they gave Bent Penis, Obumbles, and Cankles, who all lie as a matter-of-factly this goes well past absurdity.

Carson Tells CNN: Your Story on My Past Is ‘A Bunch of Lies’
Ben Carson Friday told CNN that its story questioning his accounts of violence as a youth as “a bunch of lies” and a “pathetic” attempt to distract him and the public from the real issues that are important.

“You know, I’m not proud that I had these rage episodes,” the top-ranking GOP candidate told CNN “New Day” anchor Alisyn Camerota during a long-ranging, often contentious exchange. “But I am proud of the fact I was able to get over them. My message has been that you can escape from that kind of anger.”

Dr. Ben Carson: ‘I Am Going To Fight CNN Tooth and Nail’

In 2008, a mere month prior to Election Day, CNN investigative report Drew Griffin uncovered a game-changer: then-candidate Barack Obama had lied about his adult relationship with terrorist Bill Ayers. Watch the video. Watch CNN’s Anderson Cooper drop it as a nothingburger. Neither CNN nor the rest of the DC Media would ever touch the subject again.

Fast-forward eight years. In what is obviously a racially-motivated effort to disqualify a free-thinking black man, CNN is pouring a half-dozen investigative reporters into Detroit with the goal of destroying Carson’s rise to power. This is part of the CNN’s DNA. Going back to slavery, Jim Crow, and segregation, Democrats have been socialized into destroying black people who threaten their political power.
Because no one can remember a few fights and a non-stabbing that occurred more than fifty years ago, CNN is smearing Carson as a liar and crazy. Imagine that: growing up in a violent ghetto and not being able to remember someone throwing a rock 57 years ago?

THE LEFTIST U.K. TELEGRAPH PILES ON:
Ben Carson’s latest claims – he was homeless, hungry and saw segregation at water fountains
Carson posts a rambling, late-night open letter on his Facebook page in which he defends his lack of political experience and describes a hardscrabble childhood
Retired surgeon claims his ancestors were slaves, says he knows ‘the pain of poverty’
Carson has recently also described a wild temper in his youth that once led him to attempt to murder a classmate and attack his own mother with a hammer
Several of Carson’s boyhood friends say they have no recollection of such instances

DR. CARSON ONCE CALIMED THE PYRAMIDS WERE BUILT BY JOSEPH TO HOUSE GRAIN,NOT AS TOMBS FOR PHARAOHS. HE ALSO CLAIMS NO ANIMAL EVER EVOLVED INTO A DIFFERENT ANIMAL.

Condescending CNN Anchor to Ben Carson: ‘Was U.S. a Communist Country Before Fox News?’
Surging Republican presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson had a contentious interview Friday morning with CNN anchor Alisyn Camerota on the New Day morning show.
Before talking about the Fox comment, Camerota went after Dr. Carson for another quote from the same speech in which he said many Americans are “stupid.” In context, Carson was saying the American people overall are smarter than the leftist elites think they are, but that there are many who are smart.

“They can twist and turn things as much as they want. But what they don’t understand—and they miscalculated. They were doing a great job in terms of fundamentally changing this nation. In terms of infiltrating the school systems. In terms of infiltrating the media. All of this—they’ve done a great job. Everything was perfect. Except they underestimated the intelligence of the American people. The people are not as stupid as they think they are. Many of them are stupid. Okay. But I’m talking about overall.”
Camerota introduced the Fox comment when Carson brought up that she used to work at Fox. Carson was exasperated at Camerota for trying to “put words in (his) mouth”, saying to her:

“I can’t believe that you used to work on Fox and you’ve turned into that, I can’t believe it.”

THEY’RE TRYING TO SHOW HE DOESN’T HAVE THE TEMPERMENT TO BE PRESIDENT…UNLIKE OBAMA.

DIANNY SPEAKS:
Alisyn Camerota: Making Emily Litella look good

If Emily Litella could get up in arms over the Eagle Rights Amendment or Violins on television, I suppose it’s nothing for Alisyn Camerota to get up in arms over Ben Carson saying without Fox News, we’d be Cuba.

The only difference is, eventually Emily realized she was wrong and would quietly say, “Never mind.”

I don’t know about you, but I won’t be holding my breath waiting for Alisyn Camerota to say “never mind” when somebody finally manages to explain to her that Ben Carson was making what we on Planet Earth call, “A joke.”

CNN: Idiots on Parade
CURMUDGEON IS ON POINT

So, CNN thinks they’ve destroyed Dr. Ben Carson by declaring they’ve proven his accounts of his youth (over fifty years ago) are lies because they can’t find anyone to confirm or deny they happened.

Wow. They’ve really blown the lid of this, haven’t they
This is CNN.

A network so fully invested in destroying anyone who threatens the Democrat Party Agenda they will beclown themselves in their reporting to do it.

Let’s be honest. A successful, brilliant black man who overcame a life of poverty and hardship through faith in God aspiring to be President of the United States on the Republican ticket must be destroyed because his very existence flies in the face of Liberal belief.

Of course CNN is doing this. You think they didn’t notice that Dr. Carson is beating Hillary in a one-on-one match-up by nine points?

The Enslaved Press exist to advance one political party while destroying another.

Election News

Life, family and religious values won big this week. Political correctness and radical left-wing causes lost. Word is the MSM is suffering vapors and has retired to the boudoir to dab lavender oil on its temples.

SWOON pearls

65% of Ohio voters rejected an initiative to legalize marijuana, despite pot supporters having out-spent opponents 20-to-1.

Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant easily won re-election, despite his public support for ending legal abortion in his state.

Pro-Life Republican Matt Bevin is now governor of the usually solidly Democrat state of Kentucky.  Reports show that his defense of Kim Davis was a huge factor in his victory.

Virginia Delegate Bob Marshall easily won re-election against a Democrat opponent who had spewed the usual traditional values are “divisive, mean-spirited, and discriminatory” crap.

Uber liberal San Franciscans voted out the Sheriff responsible for freeing the illegal immigrant who subsequently went on to viciously kill Kate Steinle.

Republican Mike Harmon successfully challenged Democrat incumbent, Adam Edelen, for State Auditor.  Edelen spent nearly $1 million on the campaign; Harmon spent about $40,000. Edelen had said he planned to run for Senator Rand Paul’s seat in 2016.  Yeah, no.

Houston voters, who usually lean solidly Democrat, rejected the radical transgender law that would have forced men to put up with women and women to put up with men using their restrooms, showers, and changing rooms. The lesbian mayor of Houston demanded opposition ministers deliver copies of their sermons to her, then refused to put the issue on the ballot. She was overturned by a unanimous state Supreme Court decision and the law was voted down 63% to 37%.

Freedom of the press is absolute and indispensable!

Except when it is inconvenient for Democrats.

2015 and 2007 Prez debates

ABC News’ Matthew Dowd said, “If media outlets give candidates veto power over moderators then our democracy is truly broken. Time for us all to take a stand.”

No, Matthew. The time for you journalists to take a stand was way back when major media outlets FIRST started acting like undeclared Democrat PACs instead of like the Fourth Estate that the Founders intended should keep our government honest and accountable.
