Joe Biden is both a LIAR and a FOOL

This is what Biden said in full:

By the way, they talk about this great recession like it fell out of the sky – like, β€˜Oh my goodness, where did it come from?’ It came from this man voting to put two wars on a credit card, at the same time, put a prescription drug plan on the credit card, a trillion dollar tax cut for the very wealthy. I was there, I voted against them. I said, no, we can’t afford that.

Leftists can quibble that he didn’t “lie” exactly, if you apply “I voted against them” ONLY to the last clause about tax cuts.

People with functioning brain cells can tell that’s a bunch of baloney. His statement obviously means:

Ryan voted FOR two wars, a prescription drug plan and a tax cut. I voted AGAINST them all.

But the record shows that he did vote for the two wars and the prescription drug plan.

As for the last one, while it is true he voted against it, the record shows he was foolish to do so.

If the roof leaks, you don’t tear out the foundation!

But that’s what ObamaCare amounts to. In 2009, the huge majority of Americans were HAPPY with their health care choices and a solid majority did NOT want ObamaCare passed. The Democrat majority in Washington passed it anyway.

Yes, the health care system fails some, but these are “leaks in the roof” problems that Republicans had PLANS to address. Democrats yapped that Republicans had no plan, but that was just a blatant lie. Republicans proposed multiple health care reform bills in Congress that the Democrat majority REFUSED TO BRING TO A VOTE.

The Republicans plans did NOT involve the government taking control of the health care industry and taxing us all into oblivion. But that’s exactly what Democrats want … bigger government and higher taxes. Why? Because it concentrates all the power and money in THEIR hands.

If elected, Mitt Romney has promised to stop this wholesale demolition of the health care system that actually works well for most Americans. He wants to start over, look seriously at those Republican plans the Democrats ignored and pick the ones that look most likely to “fix the leaks.”

Purple Strategies

A new poll of four critical swing states by Purple Strategies, taken after Mitt Romney selected Paul Ryan as his running mate. Virginia and Ohio flipped to Romney-Ryan. In Florida and Colorado, Romney-Ryan lost ground, though no change in who is ahead. Numbers below.

Summary: R&R ahead in Virginia, Ohio and Florida; O&B in Colorado. I plugged these four wins into the electoral map calculator @ 270towin. Results: Obama 210 vs. Romney 251 vs. Unsure 77. At the moment, Obama needs 60 more to win, while Romney only needs 19 more. Pennsylvania is worth 20. Just sayin’. πŸ™‚

VIRGINIA Shift from Obama and Unsure to Romney-Ryan +4

Pre-Ryan JULY Obama 46% vs. Romney 44% vs. Unsure 10% = 100%

Post-Ryan AUG Obama 45% vs. Romney 48% vs. Unsure 8% = 101% ?

OHIO Shift from Obama to Unsure +3 and Romney-Ryan +1

Pre-Ryan JULY Obama 48% vs. Romney 45% vs. Unsure 7% = 100%

Post-Ryan AUG Obama 44% vs. Romney 46% vs. Unsure 10% = 100%

FLORIDA Shift from Unsure to Obama +2, Romney-Ryan steady, ahead by 2 less

Pre-Ryan JULY Obama 45% vs. Romney 48% vs. Unsure 7% = 100%

Post-Ryan AUG Obama 47% vs. Romney 48% vs. Unsure 5% = 100%

COLORADO Shift from Unsure to Obama +4 and from Unsure to Romney-Ryan +2

Pre-Ryan JULY Obama 45% vs. Romney 44% vs. Unsure 11% = 100%

Post-Ryan AUG Obama 49% vs. Romney 46% vs. Unsure 6% = 101% ?

I’m guessing the b.s. Obama is pimping about Medicare is the biggest thing hurting R&R right now. That ought to change once the truth gets out. Key fact: Medicare as we know it is going to end if we do nothing. Changing it is the only way to save it. The R&R plan doesn’t affect anyone 55 or older. Obama has no plan.

The difference in this election

The Democrat rant is “Romney and Ryan want to change Medicare as we know it!” As if that would be a Very Bad Thing! But we only have eleven more years before Medicare is bankrupt.

In my opinion, the truly Very Bad Thing is what Democrats are doing and plan to continue doing, which is to steal from Medicare-as-it-is and so hasten its demise and thereby push even more Americans into a single, one-size-fits-nobody, nationalized health plan.

Planned Parenthood hit with massive fraud suit

This just highlights something I’ve been saying for a long time. The more centralized and distant from the source that anything is, the easier for dishonest people to scam off of it.

The Obama Democrats claimed ObamaCare would lower health care costs for everyone. It won’t. It will increasingly nationalize health care by driving private insurers out of the business and pushing us all into Medicaid or Medicare, which have both been proven to be more expensive per patient.

If we do not overturn ObamaCare, we’re going to end up with exactly what Sarah said we would … Death Panels.

Health care costs per patient will rise, the amount of money the government has available to pay for it will drop and bean counters in DC will make medical decisions based on the bottom line.

A big punch in the stomach to middle class families

Not A Tax Increase? [:32]

President Obama promised that his healthcare law was not a tax increase, but now we know it is actually one of largest tax increases in history.

WSJ Chief Economist: 75% of Obamacare Costs Will Fall on Backs of Those Making $120K or Less [2:14]

Stephen Moore, Senior Economics Writer with the Wall Street Journal, told FOX and Friends this morning that nearly 75% of Obamacare costs will fall on the backs of those Americans making less than $120,000 a year.

People who do not have health insurance are already subject to the penalty of whatever natural consequences occur from not having health insurance.

I knew a woman once who suffered kidney failure while uninsured. She was treated, she survived and she told me she’d spend the rest of her life making payments to the hospital. There’s your penalty. People who have assets get those assets attached, the same as anyone else who incurs a debt. People who have no assets get thrown into the Medicaid-Medicare system they already qualified for anyway.

ObamaCare is not about improving access to or reducing the cost of health care. It’s about driving everyone into a single, government-run plan so that the people at the top can exercise total control over a huge portion of the economy as well as over our very lives.

Fact Check says Life of Julia is bogus

The Obama campaign’s β€œLife of Julia” slide show depicts a fictional woman whose life from age 3 to 67 is better under the president’s policies than under those of Republican Mitt Romney. But the facts do not support statements in the slide show.

1. Romney would leave Julia with β€œnothing but a voucher” to buy health insurance at age 65. Wrong. The plan Romney has endorsed would let her choose between traditional Medicare fee-for-service coverage, or a variety of private plans with premiums partially paid by the government.

2. As a senior citizen under Romney, Julia would have to pay β€œ$6,350 extra per year” for a health care plan similar to Medicare. Wrong. This cost estimate is based on old and invalid cost estimates.

3. At age 67, Julia could β€œretire comfortably” under Obama but, β€œUnder Mitt Romney: Julia’s benefits could be cut by 40%.” Wrong. Social Security is rapidly going broke. The trustees predict that all Social Security beneficiaries will be hit with a 25% cut by 2033 unless changes are made. Obama has proposed no plan to avoid this.

4. As a 22-year-old college student, Julia needs surgery that is covered β€œdue to a provision in health care reform” keeping her on her parents’ insurance. Fair enough. But she’d probably be covered anyway: Thirty-seven states already have similar mandates on the books.

5. As a 31-year-old expectant mother, Julia β€œbenefits from maternal checkups” required under Obamacare. But she would probably get that care anyway, since 85 percent of full-time workers have health insurance now, and a 1978 federal law already requires that employer-provided insurance generally must β€œcover expenses for pregnancy-related conditions.”

More than a little upset

Got this in email. It needs nothing from me!

Subject: More than a little upset!
Date: Sat, 14 Apr 2012

Alan Simpson, Senator from Wyoming , Co-Chair of Obama’s deficit commission, calls senior citizens the Greediest Generation as he compared “Social Security” to a Milk Cow with 310 million teats.

Here’s a response in a letter from PATTY MYERS in Montana … I think she is a little ticked off! She also tells it like it is!

“Hey Alan, let’s get a few things straight..

1. As a career politician, you have been on the public dole for FIFTY YEARS.

2. I have been paying Social Security taxes for 48 YEARS (since I was 15 years old. I am now 63).

3 My Social Security payments, and those of millions of other Americans, were safely tucked away in an interest bearing account for decades until you political pukes decided to raid the account and give OUR money to a bunch of zero ambition losers in return for votes, thus bankrupting the system and turning Social Security into a Ponzi scheme that would have made Bernie Madoff proud..

4. Recently, just like Lucy & Charlie Brown, you and your ilk pulled the proverbial football away from millions of American seniors nearing retirement and moved the goalposts for full retirement from age 65 to age 67. NOW, you and your shill commission is proposing to move the goalposts YET AGAIN.

5. I, and millions of other Americans, have been paying into Medicare from Day One, and now you morons propose to change the rules of the game. Why? Because you idiots mismanaged other parts of the economy to such an extent that you need to steal money from Medicare to pay the bills.

6. I, and millions of other Americans, have been paying income taxes our entire lives, and now you propose to increase our taxes yet again. Why? Because you incompetent bastards spent our money so profligately that you just kept on spending even after you ran out of money. Now, you come to the American taxpayers and say you need more to pay off YOUR debt.

To add insult to injury, you label us “greedy” for calling “bullshit” on your incompetence. Well, Captain Bullshit, I have a few questions for YOU.

1. How much money have you earned from the American taxpayers during your pathetic 50-year political career?

2. At what age did you retire from your pathetic political career, and how much are you receiving in annual retirement benefits from the American taxpayers?

3. How much do you pay for YOUR government provided health insurance?

4. What cuts in YOUR retirement and healthcare benefits are you proposing in your disgusting deficit reduction proposal, or, as usual, have you exempted yourself and your political cronies?

It is you, Captain Bullshit, and your political co-conspirators called Congress who are the “greedy” ones. It is you and your fellow nutcases who have bankrupted America and stolen the American dream from millions of loyal, patriotic taxpayers. And for what? Votes. That’s right, sir. You and yours have bankrupted America for the sole purpose of advancing your pathetic political careers. You know it, we know it, and you know that we know it.

And you can take that to the bank, you miserable son of a bitch.
