A VIDEO REVIEW OF LAST NIGHT’S CIRCUS

Full confession: I was up late trying to watch the canine and equine performance and didn’t quite make it. There’s so much to cover I’m going to break it into two parts. Most of you have seen some or all of the debate, others may have a life and actually missed it. This is the entire nearly three hour show for the truly masochistic and a lot of short segments with highlights broken down into very short soundbites. If you only have a short time to browse I urge you to watch the exchange between The Donald and Carly Fiorina, who was absolutely amazing. Her comment on Iran and Planned Parenthood was the absolute best.

This is the NY Slimes idea of highlights of the food fight

This got the highst meter rating:
She butchers him like a trussed-up cow

THIS IS IT!!!!

RAND PAUL AND ONE OF THE AMNESTY TWINS, JEB OR MARCO, I DON’T RECALL WHICH, WERE DISCUSSING DRUG TREATMENT. CARLY SHUT THE WHOLE TOPIC DOWN WHEN SHE REVEALED SOMETHING I NEVER KNEW

THIS BROUGHT THE HOUSE DOWN…DON’T MESS WITH W!!!

Bush: 40 years ago I smoked marijuana, I admit it…

THIS WAS OUTSTANDING FROM CHRISTIE

Chris Christie talks about defunding Planned Parenthood

Fiorina: I wouldn’t change the 10 or 20 dollar bill

Sen. Cruz: Planned Parenthood a ‘criminal enterprise…

Trump, Bush square off over casinos in Florida

Walker to Trump: ‘We don’t need an apprentice in the White House

Bush: Trump should apologize to my wife

Gov. Mike Huckabee compares Donald Trump to Mr. T

Donald Trump: ‘Rand Paul should not be on this stage…’
THE DEBATE HADN’T EVEN STARTED BEFORE HE STARTED TAKING SHOTS

Christie: ‘More than just a wall’ needed to sec…

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
Fiorina: Shame on us if we don’t force Obama to veto Planned Parenthood

YOU WERE WORKING, I WAS WATCHING

There was a massive rally in DC today to stop the Iran Deal. Noted conservatives Mark Levin, Ted Cruz, Phil Robertson, Sarah Palin, and The Donald, whose party is unclear. There were thousands of pissed-off patriots in attendance, although the news outlets will put it at “hundreds” or a “sizable’ crowd. In the end, it will make little difference since we are largely ignored by the DC gasbags who want our money and votes but not our voices. They’d just as soon we sat down and shut up. Not gonna happen.

I have posted the videos so you can view the ones you want.

THIS IS THE ENTIRE RALLY… IT RUNS 4 HOURS

THE GREAT ONE, MARK LEVIN

Carly and Cruz

Have you ever noticed how we tend to use the first names for females and last names for males? Some leftie should get ON this!

2015 HILLARY leftovers

Anyway, on to today’s Pimping for My Faves blog!

Carly Fiorina has posted a new “Answers” feature at her campaign website. I asked for “Climate Change” and “Abortion” and got video clips of her talking about each subject. I think this is brilliant! It’s so much more appealing to hear and see her talk than read a list of talking points.

Ted Cruz has a New York State PAC that I just joined. If you are a New Yorker who wants to get involved locally to nominate Senator Ted Cruz as the GOP Presidential Candidate, contact:

The Brilliant, Long-Range Stealth Campaign of Ted Cruz

tedcruz
In the marathon of US Presidential campaigns, the most important advantages are money, name-recognition and the support of one of the major party machines. But if those were the only factors, Hillary Clinton already would be at the end of her second term. They’re not. Hillary’s husband was a stealth-horse candidate (‘dark horse’ not being mentionable, currently), and so were all his political godfathers, including JFK and Jimmy Carter.

Poll2It takes only a glance at the latest Fox News poll, at right, to see who has the ‘stealth’ strength at this early date when all the attention is focused on Donald Trump. I find it very encouraging that numbers two and three on the list are such strong candidates, ideologically, cerebrally and morally. Dr. Ben Carson and Ted Cruz, whether on the same ticket or individually, are outstanding conservative candidates.

And what of Trump? Despite his potential and deep resources and the obvious benefit his strong voice has been to the contest overall, many expect him to “flame out” over the next year or so. I’m one of those people, at the moment, at least.

And, for the moment, Ted Cruz seems to be playing the ideal, long-term stealth game. Matt K. Lewis wrote a piece about this earlier today in which he praised several of Cruz’s strategic moves. Lewis has some insider knowledge about the campaigns of Cruz and Rick Perry, but no current connection with the Cruz campaign. He comments on Cruz’s decision to enlist Mississippi state Sen. Chris McDaniel:

But Cruz’s embrace of McDaniel also reminds me of something. In his book Hardball, Chris Matthews recalls how a one-term Georgia governor named Jimmy Carter was able to build a national network capable of winning the 1976 presidential nomination.

It started with the 1974 mid-terms. On the night of the ’74 elections, when the DNC chairman was calling the winners, Matthews writes, “the governor was calling the losers.”

62005453We have a long way to go in this contest, but conservatives have found some hope, for the moment, in Donald Trump. Fortunately, one of the joys of having a deep bench is that our hope is not carried by just one rich guy and his Slovenian supermodel wife. That’s probably a good thing.

My dream team

I think we need to run Carly against Hillary, because it will neutralize the ONLY thing Hillary has going for her with the massive numbers of low information voters … her gender.

2015_08 10 Carly by Terrell

We made a huge mistake in running a white guy against Obama. Way too many people who didn’t know squat about our system of government came out to vote for “the first black president” just so they could say they’d done it.

Not that we had a really viable black candidate, but that’s not true this time around. Unless Carly crashes and burns for some reason, we have a fantastic female candidate.

So let’s just go with, “Yes, the next president will be a female.” Then we can move on to past achievements, moral character and national policy issues … all things Carly excels at and Hillary couldn’t defend from a nuclear reinforced bunker.

There are so many strong male candidates in the GOP stable, many of whom a President Fiorina could tap for her cabinet. Like Ted Cruz, who I love. Dunno what position he’d be best at, but something high up, you know?

Media Bias: Ted Cruz gets it

DOGS and MEDIA BIAS

After a young staffer told Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz how “nice” a member of the media is, Cruz said he actually stopped the young man with a harsh reminder about the intentions of most reporters. “I actually stopped him and I said, ‘You know what? No, she’s not [nice]. She wants to destroy you. Nothing would make her happier than to take your life and filet you on the front pages. And don’t think for a minute that because she smiles and is friendly to you, that it’s anything else,’” Cruz said, sharing the story on The Glenn Beck Program. “Isn’t that pretty cynical?” Beck asked with a laugh. “I mean, I agree with you 100 percent, but it’s a little cynical!” Cruz responded that the mainstream media is full partisans who have “picked a team,” and “when the sheep are walking among coyotes, it pays to be cynical.” “You see Republicans when they’re interviewed by left-wing reporters, and they get afraid,” Cruz said. “They want them to like them. They are not going to like us! They hate us.” Cruz said he finds it amusing that, even though his father was imprisoned in Cuba for supporting Castro, sometimes the mainstream media tries to say other candidates are “more Hispanic” than he is, “because there’s nothing that makes you Hispanic like embracing the left-wing amnesty agenda.” “And look, that’s fine, the media is who they are,” Cruz concluded. “What we need to do when we deal with the media is speak the truth, but do it with a smile. Margaret Thatcher said, ‘First you win the argument, then you win the vote.’ The last several elections, we haven’t won the argument. We haven’t even made the argument.” Source: http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2015/07/02/staffer-told-ted-cruz-he-thought-a-reporter-was-nice-the-gop-candidate-responded-with-harsh-advice/
