The State of Florida has revoked Martindale’s nursing license stating, “Healthcare is not contingent on political beliefs, and we have zero tolerance for partisans who put politics above their ethical duty to treat patients with the respect and dignity they deserve.”

FAKE NEWS: The photo above is making the rounds on social media. It’s fake.

  1. Pretti was an ICU nurse, not a physical therapist.
  2. Physical therapists work one-on-one with patients. The one working with an amputee on the parallel bars would be walking beside, not standing behind the patient.
  3. The light reflections on the three men are inconsistent.
  4. The U.S. flag in the background has only 11 red and white stripes. The American flag has 13.
  5. The hands on the clock are positioned in the wrong place on the clock face.

FREEDOM OF THE PRESS: Don Lemon was taken into federal custody late Thursday night (January 29) in Los Angeles. He is being charged with violating the FACE Act and conspiracy to deprive others of civil rights.

EVERYDAY HEROES: Anti-ICE protest groups are using private chat groups on the Signal app to track and impede ICE operations. The good news is that conservatives have managed to infiltrate the groups. Exposing their names and illegal activities has freaked out enough of them that the groups have shut down for two days so far.

HYPOCRITE: On January 25, 2026, former President Bill Clinton spoke about the “horrible scenes” of “people, including children, have been seized from their homes, workplaces, and the street by masked federal agents. Peaceful protesters and citizens exercising their constitutional right to observe and document law enforcement have been arrested, beaten, teargassed, and most searingly, in the cases of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, shot and killed. All of this is unacceptable and should have been avoided.”

He said these were things he “never thought would take place in America.” Except they did … under his watch and with far greater loss of life.

ISRAEL: Israel confirmed Monday it has recovered the remains of the final Israeli hostage held in Gaza, ending a more than two-year ordeal and clearing a major obstacle in the ongoing ceasefire with Hamas.

MINNESOTA: ICE is doing the exact same things everywhere in the U.S. The chaos in Minnesota is not an ICE problem; it’s a Minnesota problem.

NASA: For the first time in more than 50 years, NASA has mounted a rocket on the launch pad at Kennedy Space Center in preparation for a manned flight around the moon.

PSA: [10:04] – I hate scrubbing eggs off the pan, so I experimented and discovered a great hack. After removing the eggs from the pan, I immediately put the hot pan into the sink and squirt some dish detergent into it. Off to the side, I wet a handled scrub brush and use it to spread the dish detergent all around the inside of the pan. I do not put any water in the pan apart from the little bit that is on the brush. Once the detergent is spread out, I drop the brush into the pan and go eat my eggs. After the pan is cooled, I wash it with cold water. The eggs come off easily.

AMERICAN HISTORY: On January 27, 1945, Soviet troops liberated the Auschwitz concentration camp, marking the beginning of the end of the Holocaust.

GREAT MINDS DO NOT THINK ALIKE: [7:43] – In college, I participated in a psychology study where we were shown words then pictures and asked to identify from the pictures which words we’d seen. Then they reversed it. The guy doing the study said I was in a small percentage of people who see a word and visualize the object. I don’t know if this particular thing is related to phantasia or not. But it was one of the first times I realized my brain wasn’t like other people’s brains.

I am on the hyper- end. I’ve experienced reading a book about which I remembered nothing of character or plot, but on one single page, I knew I had to have read it before, because I had “been in that room.” The down side of this is that it can be very frustrating to read a book by an author who is not good at visualizing. One glaring example is J.K. Rowling. I love the Harry Potter books, but my copies are riddles with penciled notes in the margins where she’s messed up the staging.

OH CANADA: Canada’s Medical Assistance in Dying laws allow patients to request a painless death if an assessor agrees their terminal condition meets certain requirements. Patients often wait weeks, but it can happen the same day the application is lodged if judged to be medically urgent by a MAiD provider.

According to this story, the patient initially asked for MAiD, but then reneged. It was judged that her husband was suffering from burn-out trying to care for her at home and that she needed hospice. The government bean counters said no to hospice, so the husband asked if they could go ahead and kill her.

She was put down that same evening, saving the state-controlled healthcare system many thousands of dollars in end of life care. They say it’s about death with dignity, but it’s really about convenience and money.

It’s an effort to connect people across the political spectrum. The phones are part of a social experiment. GRAMMY NOTES: [2:29] – My major in college was Art History, but I had a strong concentration in the Middle Ages. Besides taking every Medieval Art History class that was offered, I also took all the Medieval History, Literature, Philosophy, and Music classes. In fact, if I could have fit one more class into my packed schedule, I would have earned a “Certificate in Medieval Studies” from Binghamton University’s Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies. Alas, that one class involved reading Dante’s Divine Comedy in the original language … not something you should try to tack on to an already overfull class load. Anyway … since I’m a sucker for medieval stuff, when I come across a gem like this video, I’m gonna share. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Minneapolis Update

An armed man was shot and killed by a Border Patrol agent in Minneapolis. Personally, I think the people who are organizing and financing these protests are toasting the man’s death with expensive champagne. They don’t care about the idiots they incite to riot. They only care about their narratives.

The dead man has been identified as Alex Jeffrey Pretti (37). The Left are waxing lyrical about how he, an American citizen whose home was in south Minneapolis, “grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin, where he played football, baseball and ran track for Preble High School. He was a Boy Scout and sang in the Green Bay Boy Choir.” They want us to know he was a graduate of the University of Minnesota and that he worked as a licensed intensive care nurse at the Veterans Administration.

  • AP News “Man killed by Border Patrol in Minneapolis was ICU nurse”
  • CBS News “Man killed by federal officer in Minnesota worked as ICU nurse”

There’s a lot more to their “vicious Trumpster shoots ICU nurse peacefully protesting ICE” narrative. For example, Pretti brought a 9mm handgun to said protest, fully loaded; he had two extra magazines of ammunition on his person.

Another point we need to consider is that the shooting occurred when Pretti tried to interfere with Border Patrol officers who were attempting to arrest an illegal immigrant who was wanted for violent assault. One source says Pretti approached them with his weapon and was killed as the officers attempted to disarm him. Another says they disarmed him and then shot him.

US Border Patrol Commander at Large Greg Bovino said, “I believe that all citizens of the United States have those 1st and 4th amendment rights as long as they do so peacefully, and don‘t delay, obstruct, or assault anyone in doing that — and that’s the issue here, because he was not peacefully doing anything.”

The Left is acting like the agents are acting out because they’re thugs. But let’s not be naive. IMO, the people organizing the protests have been ramping up the violence precisely so protesters will get themselves killed.

Like Renee Good before him, Alex Pretti was part of an organized network dedicated to interfering with immigration enforcement. PJ Media reports, “Cam Higby from Newsmax spent days undercover inside the Signal messaging groups these activists use to coordinate their efforts. What he found was stunning in its sophistication. These aren’t just angry citizens showing up to protest. This is a well-oiled machine running 24 hours a day, seven days a week.”

They have carved Minneapolis up into patrol zones where members walk and drive around 24/7, searching for an reporting on the presence of federal vehicles and agents. Higby reports, “They’re running shift changes, clocking in and out, just like any organized operation.” When they find what they’re looking for, they “instruct their ICE chasers to follow and confront agents.” Follow the link below if you want to read his whole report.

And … surprise, surprise … one of their organizers is Amanda Koehler, who also happens to work as a campaign strategist for Gov. “Tampon Tim” Walz. I was intrigued to learn that the only school that would accept her as a student was Geneva Medical College, which later became Hobart and William Smith Colleges. My mother grew up in Geneva, NY, and my father, eldest brother, and nephew all graduated from Hobart College.

Jesus did not interrupt a worship service. The temple priests did not allow temple donations and tithes to be paid with Roman coinage, so people had to exchange the coins they used in the markets for coins that were minted by the temple. The tables he overturned belonged to money changers in the outside court yard who were charging exorbitant exchange rates.

FAKE NEWS: Destiny and Shawn Jackson are Minneapolis parents who claimed their truck was “lifted off the ground” by a tear gas canister as they were peacefully driving home with 6 kids from a basketball game at Anderson Middle School. CBS wasted no time pimping out the tale. The Jacksons wasted no time putting up a GoFundMe page that scored them more than $173K.

There’s one teensy-weensy problem with their narrative: It’s a Big Fat Lie. Videos show Destiny and Shawn were not at a ball game; they were on the street, participating in the protest, long before the tear gas was released. If the children were exposed to tear gas, it is because their parents endangered them by leaving them in a vehicle while they went out and harassed federal officers.

GREENLAND: Suzanne Downing has an interesting piece at The Alaska Story comparing how Inuit people have fared under the Alaska model of statehood versus the Greenland model of self-rule under Denmark. You can read the article for details, but the basics are this –

  • In Alaska, the Inuit people enjoy both economic power and political sovereignty unlike anything seen anywhere else else in the world.
  • In Greenland, the Inuit people have an elected government that owns and manages all resources; with minimal development, the nation depends on money from Denmark to function.

Anyone familiar with the historic failures of socialist governments can guess how well the people fare. One indicator is that Greenland’s suicide rates, particularly among Inuit men, are among the highest in the world, alongside higher levels of substance abuse and domestic violence.

ICE: Homeland Security @ DHS.gov tweeted, “On January 20, ICE conducted a targeted operation to arrest Adrien Alexander Conejo Arias. an illegal alien from Ecuador who was RELEASED into the U.S. by the Biden administration.

MENTAL HEALTH: Trump just signed an executive order to bring back insane asylums and mental institutions, stressing the importance of getting ‘people off the streets.’

According to Grok (multiple sources), lifetime arrest rates among homeless adults with severe mental illness range from roughly 63% to 90% depending on the study. Incarceration rates are between 48% to 67%.

IOW, rather than hospitalize and treat them, we put them on the streets where they cannot function and mostly end up in jail or the morgue.

VAXXXINE: Newly released emails from 2021 show the government’s “public health” concerns about COVID-19 were actually centered primarily on forcing the untested mRNA gene therapy serums on American citizens.

On August 24, 2021, the results of a massive (770,000+ subjects) Israeli study were published in a paper entitled “Comparing SARS-CoV-2 natural immunity to vaccine-induced immunity: reinfections versus breakthrough infections.” It found that prior infection conferred substantially stronger protection against reinfection than two doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.

The emails show that government officials like Anthony Fauci did not want these findings to be publicized, les they undermine the administration’s push for universal vaccination.

Stephanie Edewaard Weidle, executive director of Feds For Freedom, said, “This is the evidence right here showing that our nation’s scientific leaders were not acting scientifically, and there needs to be accountability. We in the medical freedom fighting world, we already knew this, but to see it spelled out in these FOIA documents just makes it worse. People lost their jobs and their lives were turned upside down based on the argument that natural immunity was not enough.”
