When exactly did Jesus die?

If Jesus was truly an historical figure, a man who lived and died in a certain place and time, then we should be able to find important dates in His life on the calendar. And what more important date was there than the day He died? All four Gospels agree that Jesus was crucified and buried on a Friday, lay in His tomb on a Saturday, and rose on a Sunday morning. CLICK graphics to embiggen for easier viewing.

Clearly, any year that doesn’t match these week days is the wrong year. And, as you can see on this calendar, 33 AD is a perfect fit. Traditionally, the year of Jesus’ Passion has been set in 33 AD. And, as you can see on this calendar, the weekdays fit perfectly.

So why do so many sources (including The Chosen) cite years other than 33 AD? So far as I can tell, the debates hinge on two things. One is that, in the printed version, a key historical document says King Herod died in 4 BC. What a lot of people don’t realize is that, in the original copies, the date is 1 BC. This transcription error has proven to be a huge and unnecessary source of confusion, one which I’ve no doubt was inspired by Satan to instill doubt in the faithful.

Since we know Jesus was born before Herod died and that He was about 30 years old when He began his 3 year ministry, moving His birth backwards forces His Passion to occur during years when Friday, Saturday, and Sunday fall in the middle of Passover. But we know He died on a Preparation Day that fell on a Friday. Note in John 19:31, where he says that the Passover Sabbath was a “solemn” one. The first day of Passover and every Sabbath day were and are days of sacred assembly, when no work may be done. A “solemn” Sabbath is one in which the first day of Passover lands on a Sabbath day, so it’s like a double day of rest. This should give us pause, given that Jesus lay dead in His tomb on that day, something God knew would happen when He set up the calendar in the first place!

So far, so good. If we ignore the transcription error regarding Herod’s death, then we have no problem, right? Wrong. There is a second source for the “what year?” debates which comes from the Gospels themselves. Specifically, the Synoptic Gospels which describe the Last Supper as happening on the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread. Except we know that Jesus was arrested after the Last Supper, then was crucified and died the following day, which we also know was the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread.

So what gives? It’s not like these guys didn’t know what the real dates had been. Matthew was there and Mark was a Jew who certainly knew the holy days by heart. Luke may have been a Gentile, but he wrote at a time when many early Christians were Jews who had been in Jerusalem for that very Passover. So what were they talking about?!

I think we get a big clue in the Gospel of John which says in Chapter 13 that the Last Supper happened “before the feast of Passover.” The Gospel of John was written some time after the Synoptics had been in circulation, so I’m thinking maybe he did it to clear up confusion the first three had created among readers, particularly Gentiles, who didn’t understand the nuances of the Jewish calendar.

One of these nuances may have come from the fact that the many of the earliest Christians were members of the messianic sect known as the Essenes. They were responsible for the famous Dead Sea Scrolls, in which we learned that they had celebrated a lamb-less Seder meal after sundown on Nisan 13. Thus, at the Last Supper on Holy Thursday, when Jesus instituted the Holy Eucharist, He Himself was the Lamb. Unlike the other major Jewish sects – Sadducees, Pharisees, and Zealots – the Essenes disappeared from history, no doubt because they had all accepted Jesus as the Messiah and thereafter identified as Christians.

A second thing the early Christians would have known that Gentiles wouldn’t is how Jews celebrate Bedikat Chametz. This is a ceremony whereby observant Jews search for, collect, and burn up every speck of leaven in the house. From the description I read, it sounds like households with children turn it into a fun game a little like our Easter egg hunts. In most years, Bedikat Chametz happens on Nisan 14. But in years like 33 AD, where Nisan 14 falls on a Friday and Nisan 15 on Sabbath, this “preparation dayBedikat Chametz takes place on Thursday, Nisan 13 … the same day as the Last Supper.

FDA: The head of the FDA has nailed down the reason for the mysterious spike in “excess mortality” currently plaguing COVID-vaxxxed nations. Surprise, surprise!! It’s NOT the vaxxx!! It’s … drum roll please … misinformation. You’ll be relieved to know that he has “made combating misinformation one of his top priorities at the agency.” It would be nice if, by that, he meant that the FDA was going to be 100% transparent and truthful; sadly, based on their performance during the pandemic, I have to presume he actually means the FDA will do all it can to stifle free speech by persecuting those who disagree with the government’s agenda.

FLORIDA: Gov. DeSantis signed the Heartbeat Protection Act on the same day it passed the legislature. It bans abortions on unborn babies with a heartbeat (six weeks’ gestation) and allocates $25 million in funds for pregnancy centers around the state. Prior to this, abortion was legal in Florida up to 15 weeks.

HEAD COVERING: [23:12] – When I was a kid, women and girls wore veils or hats in church, but then we stopped and I never gave it much thought. Lately, though, I’ve noticed women are starting to veil again. And my cousin who came for Easter wears a head covering all the time, not just in church. So I’ve been thinking, reading, and listening to various homilies and talks about the subject. The video I linked to above makes a very interesting point I didn’t see elsewhere that is so pertinent to our current cultural issues. If you are interested and have the time, I recommend it.

HELL: I often think how gracious it is of Him to have withdrawn Himself from some portion of His creation to accommodate those who hate Him. The fact that this place is horrible isn’t His fault. Nor is the fact that demons and humans freely choose to go there.

HONEY BURDETTE: This luxury lingerie brand has traditionally used the slogan “by women, for women.” After they decided to use a man to promote their products, they switched to “a luxury lingerie brand for all!

TRANS-INSANITY: The idea that trannies are some kind of persecuted class is total b.s. Case in point: When a trannie teacher threatened to shoot up the school, the Florida district properly notified the authorities. A deputy confiscated the unstable individual’s firearms, but a mental health assessment determined he was not a threat. So the next day, the teacher was back in school and parents were not notified. Parents said they receive alerts if a fire alarm is pulled at the school or if somebody has a weapon at a nearby park. But a trannie teacher threatening to commit mass murder? Not. A. Peep. Why? Because it was a trannie.

GRAMMY NOTES: That photo doesn’t BEGIN to show my husband’s glove box (which also includes paper surgical masks he accepts at every venue and never throws away). I’m thinking that Midwesterners may very well have emigrated from Western Massachusetts where every Saturday is “Socialize at the Dumps Day.” The first Saturday I experienced this phenomenon, my fiancé left for the Dumps with his pickup stacked, stuffed, and piled high with junk. When he came home, hours later, it was stacked, stuffed, and piled high with different but “really good” junk he said he just had to have.

ABORTION: According to an abortion industry report, the number of legal abortions in the United States decreased by about 32,260 during the first six months after Roe v. Wade was overturned.

BLIND JUSTICE: Not any more. The Biden DOJ, which saw to the incarceration of innocent J6 protesters, is recommending no jail time and just three years of probation for the trannie who has confessed to committing violent hate crimes against St. Louise Catholic Church in Bellevue, WA. He said he smashed the glass doors, destroyed a statue of the Blessed Mother, assaulted an employee, and spray painted profane messages such as “F*** Catholics” on church property, because he was mad about the overturning of Roe v. Wade. He caused an estimated $30,000 in property damage.

Washington state law says, “Every person who goes onto the land of another and who removes timber, crops, minerals, or other similar valuable property from the land, or wrongfully causes waste or injury to the land, or wrongfully injures personal property or improvements to real estate on the land, is liable to the injured party for treble the amount of the damages caused by the removal, waste, or injury.” IOW, that trannie owes St. Louise Catholic Church $90,000; CINO Joe thinks he should just walk away with a slap on the wrist.

CATHOLIC: During Holy Week this year, Fr. David Michael Moses (29) heard 1167 confessions. “Do I care about numbers? Not really. Do I care about the salvation of souls? Oh yeah. That’s all I care about. And each confession was a soul that walked in with sin, then walked out a new creation. 1167 beautiful moments of grace, and the only witnesses were the angels… and me. I wasn’t there when Jesus came back to life, but I saw 1167 people come back to life last week. I love being a priest. Praise God. Happy Easter, my family.” CLICK to see his Instagram video. ❤

HATE CRIMES: Family Research Council has been tracking anti-church attacks for years. According to their data, there have been 69 such attacks in the first three months of 2023, including 53 incidents of vandalism, 10 suspicious fires, three gun-related incidents, and three bomb threats, including one in which a pipe bomb was recovered outside Philadelphia’s 127-year-old St. Dominic Catholic Church.

In 2018, there were only 50 such incidents in the entire year.

INDIANA: On Wednesday, Gov. Holcomb signed into law a bill that prohibits medical professionals from distributing puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones as well as committing “gender transition” surgeries to minors. FAUXTUS’ spox, KJP, called such laws “discriminatory” and “terrifying.”

LOUISIANA: State Rep. Jeremy LaCombe switched from Democrat to Republican, officially giving Republicans a veto-proof majority in the House.

MICHIGAN: On Wednesday, Gov. Whitmer repealed the state’s 1931 statute that made abortion a felony punishable by up to four years in prison. Whitmer called all ongoing efforts to ban abortion in other states “sickening.”

OOPS: The backlash over Anheuser Busch putting a trannie on the Bud Light can has allegedly caused some consternation at the management level. The word is they have paused marketing of the Dylan Mulvaney Bud Light cans and that “no one at the senior level” of the company was aware of what a “low-level marketing staffer” was up to.

PFIZER: Dr. McCullough explains how unsuspecting patients were jabbed with contaminated vaxxxine. “Under Emergency Use Authorization, the vaccine companies and their subcontractors do not have any inspections of the final filled and finished vials. This is unprecedented for a widely used product of any type.

RAD TRAD: [:57] – Sen. Josh Hawley tweeted, “I specifically asked Merrick Garland whether the FBI was targeting Catholic parishes and he said no. Now it turns out the FBI was using undercover sources in multiple parishes.

VAXXX: Did your health provider suggest, encourage, or downright nag you to get the jab? He or she may have been responding to financial incentives like the one Anthem BC/BS Medicaid (graphic) sent to Kentucky doctors. Not only were doctors receiving a cash bonus for each Anthem member that got the jab, but there was a second bonus of up to $125 per patient if the practice jabbed 75% of its total Anthem members.

GRAMMY NOTES: I remember watching my kids running around outside after church and telling a fellow parishioner, “It’s hard to let them run free when they’re each wearing $300 on their noses and have another $300 inside their shoes.” (Re: shoes – They inherited a congenital foot problem from Dearest’s family and wore orthotics practically from birth. I didn’t bronze their baby shoes, but I did save their first foot castings and orthotics, which were adorably teensy weensy!

Apeel

APEEL: Apeel Sciences (aka, Edipeel) is based in Goleta, California, has developed an allegedly edible film coating that dramatically slows spoilage and reduces plastic packaging waste. According to all its PR, Apeel is the greatest advancement in food preservation since the invention of the refrigerator.

There is disinformation circulating on the ‘net claiming to show that Apeel’s Hazard Statement says it causes serious eye damage, may cause an allergic skin reaction, is harmful to aquatic life, etc. BUT, this Hazard Statement is NOT for the produce coating marketed by a California company; it’s for a hard surface cleaner marketed by a UK company.

The question remains … is produce coated with Apeel safe for us and our loved ones? According to Apeel Sciences, “Apeel is made of plant-derived materials — lipids and glycerolipids — that exist in the peels, seeds, and pulp of all the fruits and vegetables we already eat. Apeel is not GMO. Our products are not derived from genetically engineered plant material.

Uhhh … nicotine, cocaine, morphine, psilocybin, cyanide and ricin are also “made of plant-derived materials.” And let’s not forget that xylitol, which is made from birch sap, can kill your favorite canine in less than an hour.

In addition, some of the sources I consulted (links below) claim the FDA has judged the coating to be Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS). These are the same people who pushed the jab on us with lie after lie after lie, so meh.

My main reason for being suspicious of Apeel is that the company got its start with a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), which has partnered with the Clinton Foundation, has given millions to Planned Parenthood, and been a major source of funding for the World Health Organization (WHO). Apeel is also endorsed by the World Economic Forum (WEF). Alert readers will remember that all of these groups are pro-abortion, have long supported reducing global population by whatever means necessary, and were and continue to be deeply involved in the push for global vaxxxing.

Why would I trust anything these people are so aggressively pushing on me?! And they are pushing. The volume and enthusiasm in the articles I found (linked below) left me feeling like it was Vaxxx 2.0. The only thing missing is an endorsement by Tony Fauci.

Nefarious, Part 2

A follow-up post from Father Martins:

A Demonic Plot to Subvert the Truth? You tell me.

In my first post yesterday (April 12), I shared how impressed I am with “Nefarious,” calling it the best possession/exorcism movie ever made. In my second post, I shared a video describing diabolic phenomena at the movie’s premiere: the failure of electronic equipment, the flickering of lights, the chanting of a disembodied voice, etc. These only stopped after I used the Church’s ritual to perform an exorcism of place.

The diabolical manifestations led to my having extensive conversations with the film’s crew and executives. I want to share some of their content with you.

I have been an exorcist for the better part of 20 years, and even I was astounded by what I heard. While none of the following occurrences prove the Devil caused them, the sheer number of events makes attributing them to anything else absurd. Here are just a sample.

– During the filming, an eerie windstorm erupted during the scenes that depict “how the Devil operates.” When those scenes were shot, the wind howled so audibly and hard that it caused the studio to shake, making the sound recordings unusable. In the words of Chuck Konzelman, one of the film’s two directors, “We would stop shooting a scene because of the groaning of the building, and as soon as we said, ‘Cut,’ the wind stopped. The moment we began reshooting, it started as fierce as ever.” The Oklahoma Department of Transportation declared the storm the highest velocity of sheer force winds ever recorded.

– Several weeks ago, the film’s executives were in a marketing and promoting campaign in their California office. The wind began blowing so hard that the roof blew off the building.

– The crew—numbering only sixty persons—was involved in eight car wrecks during the film’s production.

– Many of the crew were hit with COVID-19 infections. So what, right? Many the world over got COVID-19. However, the infections among the crew were so bad that production halted for almost four months, nearly bankrupting the project. Private investors willing to inject money into the venture had to be found to save it.

– The Catholic priest who served as consultant for the movie had his residence broken into by some animal while he was out. It destroyed his Nativity scene, knocked a Christmas wreath off the door, and toppled a candle depicting the Blessed Virgin Mary onto the floor. It climbed onto his altar, urinated on the upper right and lower left corners of the corporal (the cloth over which the Eucharist is Consecrated), and defecated on the cross in its center (the center is where the priest places the paten that holds the Sacred Host). Here’s the kicker: the animal touched no food in the house.

– The same priest had his appendix burst during the filming. The surgeon informed him that he would have died if he had waited much longer.

– The malfunction of electronic equipment was constant. Hard drives ceased operating, audio equipment stopped working, and cameras would not record. They also experienced constant email issues: emails sent by the producers and crew would not get to the recipient (I experienced this myself from them multiple times).

– A Newsweek reporter tried to record an interview with Cary and Chuck, and it failed. He tried again on a different occasion with the same result. He then suggested they send him their answers via email. The email would not send, even after repeated hits of the send button. Only after they prayed did it do so.

– Chuck and Cary desired the film’s release date to be in April because of its closeness to Passover and Easter. They settled on the 14th (Friday of Easter Week) because of the few number of movies releasing that weekend. (There are only so many physical theaters in the country, therefore, strategizing when the most theatre space is available often pays dividends). The theatres were excited about an April 14 launch and guaranteed “Nefarious” 1,800 theatres. However, shortly after the date was settled, six other movies announced they were opening on the same day. That increased the total to 18, making this month the most crowded April in movie history.

– Among the movies launching the same day is Russell Crowe’s “The Pope’s Exorcist,” a huge-budget film released by Sony Pictures. Sony had initially planned for an October 13 release but decided to go head-to-head with Nefarious on April 14. Although the movies have dramatically different styles and ends, a second exorcism/possession movie launching the same day had a catastrophic effect on theatre hosting. “Nefarious” went from a guaranteed 1,800 theatres to half of that. According to Cary, “Sony is huge. It can call a Cinema company and demand 3,000 theatres show this movie or ‘You won’t get future hit movies like Spiderman.’ This threat often makes theatre companies cow-tow or risk missing out on a guaranteed blockbuster. The Adversary is attempting to snuff our candle in the first weekend.

To put this last point in perspective, theatres examine and evaluate a movie’s success on the Monday after the first weekend. They determine whether the film was successful enough to warrant its carrying in the same number of theatres or whether it needs cutting out altogether. In terms of cinema, the opening weekend is the critically important one.

Folks, if you plan to see “Nefarious,” do so THIS weekend. This is the best way to help the movie.

Many people have asked me whether they risk subjecting themselves to demonic attacks if they view the film. “Nefarious” is not a horror movie. It is a theological discourse on good versus evil. You will no more be attacked by watching it than you are for going to church on Sunday or listening to a lecture on holiness.

Bits & Bytes

2-WEEKS: HJ Res 7, a measure to immediately end the COVID-19 national emergency, passed the House (229–197) on Feb. 1 and the Senate (68-23) on March 29. But instead of signing it immediately, thereby ending the ridiculous requirement for legal visitors to show proof of the jab before coming here for the Easter holiday, CINO Joe waited until Monday. I’m very grateful to the border agent who did not ask my dear cousin for proof of the jab, which she has not and will never get.

FBI: Internal documents obtained by the House Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government show the FBI sought to use Catholic churches as “new avenues for tripwire and source development,” including at “mainline Catholic parishes” and among “local diocesan leadership.” The FBI has repudiated the claim.

In other news, the conservative Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project recently obtained copies of FBI training materials that include a glossary of terms to help them identify individuals whose allegedly extremist ideology “may constitute a basis for reporting or law enforcement action when observed with suspicious criminal or potentially violent activity.”

These terms are then listed with inaccurate definitions. For example, according to the FBI, “taking the red pill or becoming ‘redpilled’ indicates the adoption of racist, anti-Semitic, or fascist beliefs.” In my experience, conservatives use it as shorthand for waking up to the Left’s Big Fat Lie that conservatives are racist, anti-Semitic, and fascist.

IDAHO: Gov. Little has signed into law a bill that makes it a crime for doctors to provide children with so-called “gender-affirming” surgeries or medications, including puberty blockers.

ITHACA, NY: I often refer to my old hometown as “The Berkeley of the East”, a tag that it richly deserves. Case in point … the Elizabeth Ann Clune Montessori School of Ithaca STILL requires all staff and students to mask, both indoors and outdoors, and STILL prohibits students from talking during lunch. Since the school has no cafeteria, students eat in their classrooms; IOW, they talk during class time, but must be silent during lunch time. Some kids report having made up their own sign language so they could communicate.  While some parents and staff have abandoned the school, others claim to feel “fortunate” that these rules are still in force. The author of the Free Press article (linked below) interviewed parents who are unhappy with the rules, but said they are too timid to challenge the administration. The EACMS is a private school whose tuition ranges from $11,000 to $18,000 a year per student.

MASKS: Before 2020, the CDC and the WHO guidelines said there was no justification for mask-wearing in the general public. Suddenly, when COVID-19 hit, all the studies showing masks weren’t effective were ignored and people around the world were forced to mask. Now, a meta-analysis of 2,168 mask studies reveals the original guidelines were accurate. Masks are not only itchy and uncomfortable, but also increase carbon dioxide concentration, leading to itching, acne, dizziness, shortness of breath, and Mask-Induced Exhaustion-Syndrome (MIES). The study suggested that “several mask-related symptoms may have been misinterpreted as symptoms of long COVID.

PSA: Avoid using public phone charging stations in airports, hotels or shopping centers. Hackers have figured out how to infect connected devices.

SUFFERING: We all have unrepentant people who have said and done hurtful things to us. I’ve noticed that, whenever such a person or incident comes to mind, I feel angry and broody until I manage to truly forgive, after which I just feel sad … for the unrepentant soul, for the consequences of their sins, and for the brokenness of our relationship. This morning, the Holy Spirit showed me that, instead of just carrying all this sadness around, I can unite it with the sadness Jesus experienced over Judas’ betrayal and suicide. What a relief it is to have a positive use for it!

GRAMMY NOTES: Way back when I drove a school bus, one of my jobs was to take the football team and cheerleaders to away games. On one absolutely miserable fall night … cold, rain, yuck … the boys had a locker room at half time, but the girls had to pile into my bus to get warm. I heard one of them complain while shivering, “My mom SAID I should bring a coat. I HATE it when she’s right!

Nefarious

The text below was posted on Facebook by Fr. Carlos Martins, the exorcist behind The Exorcist Files podcasts I often recommend here. I inserted the trailers and graphic.

“This year is unprecedented for the number of exorcism movies being released: 5. It is not a coincidence: 2023 marks the 50th anniversary of the original that started it all, “The Exorcist.

“Numerous media outlets and individuals have asked about my thoughts on the Russell Crowe movie: “The Pope’s Exorcist.” Sony Pictures purchased a ton of advertising space on my podcast, The Exorcist Files. I had no control over that. iHeart hosts the podcast and sells advertising to whoever wants to buy it (each episode airs 9 commercials). Sony spent tens of thousands of dollars to purchase three ads per show. However, because of the podcast’s success, he expressed an interest in being hosted on it. That was about four weeks ago. I replied that before conceding, I needed to see the movie (i.e., I needed a screener sent to me).

After a couple of weeks, I still had no reply, but Sony released the movie’s trailers, and it was apparent (tragically) that it is yet another movie in the “horror” genre. One of the significant themes also appears to be a scandalous Vatican conspiracy to “cover up” a demonic secret. Since the masses would undoubtedly see my hosting Crowe as an endorsement of his movie, I insisted—again—that my watching the movie would be a pre-condition for any hosting. The request for a Crowe appearance was rescinded.

The same week I received a request for my endorsement of another exorcism movie, “Nefarious,” produced by two devout and faithful Catholics, Cary Solomon and Chuck Konzelman. They were the producers and directors of the pro-life film, Unplanned, which depicts the pro-life conversion of Planned Parenthood clinic director Abby Johnson.

After watching “Nefarious,” I can say—without hesitation—that it is the best movie portraying demonic possession ever produced. Rather than getting bogged down—like every other movie—in diabolical phenomena and power (levitation, extraordinary strength, and other “same-old” signs), this one brings the viewer into the demonic mind. While the movie trend has focused on displaying demonic rage, “Nefarious” deftly exhibits the Devil’s insatiable craving and formidable intelligence.

Far less concerned with ostentation than demonstrating the Devil’s thought and intellectual character, the movie accurately depicts how he smothers his victim’s hope. Astute, careful, and intelligent thinking went into its script. Solomon and Konzelman have encapsulated the conundrum into which a demon always presses his victim: whether you choose option A or B, you’re damned either way, so cooperate on the Enemy’s terms and choose one. Of course, you are always free to end your life.

The movie is clean and is not a “horror”movie. It has no blasphemies, sex scenes, or even 4-letter words. However, it is anything but boring. As an exorcist, I can affirm it is true to life and a must-see for anyone who desires to understand the Enemy. I found it gripping. I showed it at the seminary where I live, and the seminarians and priests raved about it for days.

CATHOLIC: Right before holy week, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, canceled its nearly two decades relationship with the Franciscan friars of Holy Name College in nearby Silver Spring, Maryland. The PTBs instead entrusted the pastoral care of Catholic military personnel, veterans, and their beneficiaries to a secular for-profit company. Archbishop Timothy P. Broglio, the head of the Archdiocese of the Military Services, called the move “incomprehensible.”

GET WOKE, GO BROKE: In Texas, there is a bar that has long sponsored a weekly dart league on Thursdays, during which players suck down an average of three kegs of Bud Light (nearly 500 12-ounce glasses). This week, the bar sold only four bottles of Bud Light.

GERMANY: According to a recent survey, 88% of Germans believe that a successful energy transition is not realistic. Sadly, the government isn’t listening to them.

MUTILATING MINORS: The Cosmetic Concierge, a plastic surgery clinic in Charlotte, North Carolina, cheerfully removes the healthy breasts of girls who aren’t even old enough to drive a car.

TRANS: This study compared overall mortality for 1,951 British mtf trannies vs. 68,165 British men vs. 68,004 British women. The trannies were 1.34 times more likely to die than the men and 1.75 times more likely to die than the women.

VAXXX: This JAMA study compared VA patients hospitalized with COVID-19 or seasonal influenza and sorted them by those who had been jabbed and those who had not. The results were astonishing.

Of the COVID-19 patients, 64% had been vaccinated against the flu, which offers no protection for COVID-19, while 63% of the flu patients had been vaccinated against the flu. If the flu vaccine were effective, the second number should have been at or near zero.

Furthermore, 55% of the flu patients had been vaxxxed and boosted against COVID-19, which offers no protection against flu, while 55% of the COVID-19 patients had been vaxxxed and boosted against COVID-19. If the COVID-19 jab were effective, the second number should have been at or near zero.

ZINC: A randomized controlled trial has demonstrated that administering zinc (25 mg po) resulted in a 42% reduction in ICU admission or death.

GRAMMY NOTES: While Dearest was in Texas, my lovely cousin smuggled her icky, unvaxxxed body over Joe Biden’s border to spend the holy days with me. It was such a blessed time! She’s such a trooper! Despite being a lifelong Protestant, she sat through all three hours of my parish’s Easter Vigil service!

There were no TikTok rants, no media tours, no outrage – just worship to our Heavenly Father who knows and controls all things and works all things for the good of those who love Him.

In stark contrast, three Democrat state lawmakers responded to the tragedy by holding a rowdy 10-hour, bull-horn led, anti-gun protest on the floor of the statehouse. During the near-riot, they held up seven fingers, indicating they included the suicidal trans shooter among the victims.

Two of the three (Justin Jones, Justin Pearson) have been expelled for violating numerous house rules of decorum; the third (Gloria Johnson) expulsion vote failed by a single vote. The votes required two-thirds majority to pass. One of the three, Justin Pearson, was sworn in just one week before he staged the protest, a move he apparently intended to get him tossed right back out so he could be a Black Martyr or something.

The White House has not given the time of day to the families of the six people who were brutally gunned down at their school by a deranged trannie who longed to die in a hail of bullets. True to form, VFAUXTUS Kamala Harris raced to Nashville to visit “The Nashville Three” and to pimp for more gun control. Meanwhile, his spox, KJP, condemned legislation (like that recently passed in Tennessee) that bans doctors from prescribing cross-sex hormones and puberty blockers or performing gender mutilation surgeries on minors. Even worse, she appeared to endorse trans violence, declaring, ”LGBTQI+ kids are resilient. They are fierce. They fight back. They’re not going anywhere. And we have their back. This administration has their back.

TRANS MANIA: Camille Paglia notes that the destruction of masculinity is a recurring sign of cultural collapse throughout the history of civilization. [7:10] – Also CLICK https://www.youtube.com/shorts/dhAEFdGv35k to hear some historical sense from Jordan Peterson.

TRANS VIOLENCE: On March 31, LEOs in Colorado arrested a mtf trannie (19) and charged him with criminal attempt to commit murder in the first degree (two counts), criminal mischief, menacing, and interference with staff, faculty, or students of educational institutions.

A family member turned the suspect into police, telling 911 that they had threatened to shoot up schools and had severe anger issues. Police said the home piled with trash, moldy food containers, and alcoholic beverage containers. The suspect had also apparently punched holes in the wall inside the house and ripped a door off the hinges.

Evidence collected inside the house included the suspect’s personal manifesto, the Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx and Friedrick Engels, and a notebook with suicidal ideations, plans to commit mass shootings at local schools and churches, DIY bomb and 3D gun instructions, commentary about notorious mass shooters, serial killers, and politicians, and detailed lists of numerous people to target.

GRAMMY NOTES: Six of my grands got to enjoy a visit to a Texas children’s museum. 🙂 And, GOOD NEWS!! My dear cousin got her icky unvaxxxed body through Joe’s border patrol and is HERE!!

We’ve used it to a couple of times to remove carpenter ants and at least once to remove some variety of yellow jackets, each time nests that were in our house (inside the walls or under the siding).

Good Friday

Today, I saw a remark on FB from a non-Catholic claiming that, because we believe in Purgatory, we don’t believe in the Resurrection! I responded, “Please make some effort to understand Catholic doctrine before commenting. Unlike every other religion on the planet, the Roman Catholic Church’s teachings are clearly spelled out. The Catechism of the Catholic Church is available at low cost in print and for free on-line in both searchable and downloadable formats.

“1026 By his death and Resurrection, Jesus Christ has ‘opened’ heaven to us. The life of the blessed consists in the full and perfect possession of the fruits of the redemption accomplished by Christ.”

“1030 All who die in God’s grace and friendship, but still imperfectly purified, are indeed assured of their eternal salvation; but after death they undergo purification, so as to achieve the holiness necessary to enter the joy of heaven.”

“1031 The Church gives the name Purgatory to this final purification of the elect, which is entirely different from the punishment of the damned.”
