Yes, President Trump will attend the funeral of George H.W. Bush
In contrast to the five days long national goodbye to Senator McCain, who chose not to invite either of the Trumps to a decidedly political memorial service at the National Cathedral, President Bush made his final wishes clear to the White House last summer. He wanted the current president to be included. This is what respect for the office of the president looks like. The elder Bush was more than a politician and expected those around him to behave like decent human beings. Agree with his politics or not, that is a worthwhile message.
Joy Behar SCREAMS at “ENTITLED B*TCH” Meghan McCain – Threatens,”I’m Quitting This Damn Show!”
On Monday’s “The View” Joy Behar screamed, threw up her papers, called Meghan McCain a “entitled b*tch!” and threatened to quit the show.
This came after Behar started trashing President Trump in the discussion on the passing of President George H. Bush. Meghan McCain told her to stop with her Trump bashing.
So Behar blew a gasket.
She can’t even talk respectfully about George H. W. Bush’s passing without trying to make it an anti-Trump bash fest.
She was trying to go there today when her co-host, Meghan McCain tried to pull her back.
That’s when things got ugly.
‘This president that we have now is trying to unravel everything that he did and Obama did, and if I ever become a one-issue voter it will be about pollution and the greenhouse effect -‘ she said before being interrupted.
‘Can we focus on the president, please. I don’t want to talk about Trump, we’re honoring a great president,’ McCain interjected.
Behar shot back: ‘Excuse me a second, please. I want to talk about – ‘ before McCain cut her off again saying: ‘We’re honoring a great president who passed and I’m not interested in your one-issue voting.’
Behar fired back: ‘I don’t care what you’re interested in. I’m talking!’
McCain countered: ‘Well I don’t care what you’re interested in either, Joy!’ before Whoopi quickly called for a commercial break.
GOP Lawmakers Join Democrats to Put a Price on Carbon to Curb Climate Change
The members that have signed onto the House version of the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act (EICDA) include Ted Deutch (D-Fla.), Charlie Crist (D-Fla.), Francis Rooney (R-Fla.), John Delaney (D-Md.) and Brian Fitzpatrick (R-Pa.).
According to Deutch, the legislation seeks to “help reduce U.S. carbon pollution by 40 percent in 12 years, with a 91 percent reduction target by 2050 (vs. 2015 levels)” by pricing carbon at $15 per metric ton of CO2e and “increasing the price by $10 every year.” Annually, the Treasury Department “would return 100 percent of the net revenue back to the American people.”
The Republican lawmakers were unable to join the press call and did not appear at the news conference about the bill, but they issued statements in support of the legislation.
Census confirms: 63 percent of ‘non-citizens’ on welfare, 4.6 million households
A majority of “non-citizens,” including those with legal green card rights, are tapping into welfare programs set up to help poor and ailing Americans, a Census Bureau finding that bolsters President Trump’s concern about immigrants costing the nation.
In a new analysis of the latest numbers, from 2014, 63 percent of non-citizens are using a welfare program, and it grows to 70 percent for those here 10 years or more, confirming another concern that once immigrants tap into welfare, they don’t get off it.
All ‘SNL’ Wants for Christmas Is for Mueller to Lock Up Trump, ‘Only Other Option Is a Coup’
In what was supposedly a “comedy” act to close out the latest episode of NBC’s Saturday Night Live, the female cast members got together to sing their rendition of Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You”. But the person they had their eye on was Special Counsel Robert Mueller, or, at least a report that would put Trump in jail.
Because, according to the SNL cast, “the only other option is a coup. Straight Africa.”
This needs to be done by Christmas. I need a fricking ounce of cheer. I just really want my life back. Oh my god, it’s been two years,” the group sang, switching back and forth between them.
Getting more vindictive, they continued, saying: “I don’t need a full impeachment. But we just need a little fun. Please tell us we aren’t crazy. At least indict his oldest son.”
“Please tell us we aren’t crazy” … Um, you’re singing a song to a special counsel to indict and lock up a sitting U.S. president. Sorry to break it to you, but you’re already there.
Of course not. We all remember the fake Benghazi investigation run by the oh-so-disappointing Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., with the fake blessing of the House leadership. Big talk. No action. It’s all a con game by Republican swamp dwellers who want to convince voters they are getting something done while making sure there is no chance of upsetting the apple cart. This gambit smells like the rotten work of phony conservative Paul Ryan, who is ending his term as House speaker with virtually no accomplishments for the Republican agenda.
As the incoming chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Graham will have the power to do what Goodlatte can’t do — hold Democrats’ feet to the fire and bring to light the true story of Hillary Clinton’s illegal, immoral and unethical attempt to subvert the 2016 presidential election by hijacking the powers of the executive branch in her own partisan service.
I’m not holding my breath because, like every conservative, I have been serially abused by the Republican leadership of Congress, and I no longer believe any of their promises that this time it will be different.
$21 TRILLION of Pentagon financial transactions “could not be traced, documented, or explained.”
$21T in Pentagon accounting errors. Medicare for All costs ~$32T.
That means 66% of Medicare for All could have been funded already by the Pentagon.
And that’s before our premiums.

Wow. You claim $21 Trillion in Pentagon Waste? The entire Pentagon budget from 1789-2018 has totaled $18 trillion,
Come on, This is embarrassing.

For those wondering:
In the original study, $21 trillion refers to transfers back-and-forth between accounts. So the same $1 can be counted 1000’s of times. It *does not* mean that $21 trillion in total spending was mis-spent.
Associated Press Pays Touching Tribute To George H.W. Bush: ‘He Wasn’t Hitler’
“George H.W. Bush: he wasn’t Adolf Hitler, at least that we know of,” the headline published to AP’s social media accounts read. The linked story had more kind words to say: “Bush did not appear to actually be Adolf Hitler, despite much work on our part attempting to corroborate these accusations. He also was not Genghis Khan or Charles Manson, as far as we can tell.”
“Although we didn’t see eye to eye on politics, I’ll go so far as to say that he did not seem to Satan,” said one political rival. “I mean, who really can say? I guess I don’t know for sure. But I never saw horns or a tail.”
AP was forced to pull the headline claiming Bush wasn’t Hitler after leftist commenters loudly complained about its inaccuracy.
CARAVAN: Tijuana official: “We had to stop the Mexican people and the caravan from STONING one another.” No city can handle such a massive influx of migrants.
BUILD THE WALL: On Monday, the Supreme Court said it would not hear a challenge brought by environmental groups against the Trump administration concerning the construction of the border wall. The complaint alleged construction of the border wall would violate environmental laws and threaten endangered species. In 1996, President Clinton signed a law allowing the “the executive branch with authority to waive environmental laws if those laws impede construction of barriers and roads near the border.”
SECRET SERVICE: Democrat vs Republican protectees — Secret Service agents say that Republicans Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush treated them with respect and consideration, while Democrats Lyndon Johnson, Jimmy Carter, and others did the opposite. Al Gore told them he did not want to be bothered greeting them or seeing them. And Hillary Clinton, who continues to be protected by the Secret Service, is so nasty to her agents that they consider it a form of punishment to be assigned to her detail.
#METOO: Pence is suddenly cool — According to the feminazis, it’s sexist for men (who are all rapists) to avoid putting themselves into situations where they could be falsely accused of sexual harassment. Consequently, many businessmen are opting to protect themselves by adopting Vice President Mike Pence’s rule of not dining alone with female colleagues. This just might not be good for the careers of said females. But hey, the guys didn’t start the whole “believe the woman without evidence” thing.
MUELLER: Monday Updates — Journalist Paul Sperry released a report accusing Robert Mueller of withholding evidence from the court that would exonerate President Trump from the latest accusations of Russian collusion during the 2016 election. And conservative author Jerome Corsi filed a “criminal and ethics complaint” against Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team, accusing investigators of trying to bully him into giving “false testimony” against President Trump.
IRELAND: Conscience Protection — About 300 doctors attended a meeting by the Irish College of General Practitioners EGM in Dublin to discuss the government’s plans to legalize abortions starting Jan. 1, 2019. Dozens of them walked out after complaining that leaders have been ramming through the pro-abortion legislation without consulting the medical community or giving it ample time to prepare. Many doctors also fear being forced to help abort unborn babies against their consciences. Dr. Andrew O’Regan, speaking for the GPs who walked out, said the meeting Sunday did nothing to address their concerns
PRAGER UNIVERSITY: General Chuck Wald –– Why Does America Spend So Much on Israel? With so much that must be done at home in the United States, why does America send so much of its resources to Israel? It’s a fair question, but according to U.S. Gen Chuck Wald, America doesn’t spend enough on Israel. Watch to understand why.
POPE FRANCIS: Pope Francis said that the Church had to be “demanding” in choosing candidates for the priesthood. “The question of homosexuality is a very serious one,” said the pontiff, adding that those responsible for training priests must make sure candidates are “humanly and emotionally mature” before they are ordained. “For this reason, the Church urges that persons with this rooted tendency not be accepted into ministry or consecrated life.”
DRY BAR COMEDY: Corey Rodrigues — Not a Real Man. Then there’s MY marriage, which is totally tool based. You want to make us happy, give us tools! When we got married, he had a 20 oz hammer, which is the hefty, he-man tool for jobs like … roofing houses. I had a 12 oz hammer, which is a very nice, lady-sized tool for jobs like … hanging pictures. So, he sees my hammer. And he LAUGHS at it. Then, he STEALS it. After that, he stole my little circular saw. He’s lucky to be alive.
I’d like to hear from regular readers who are sick of the ads they see when they come to PoliNation.
I’ve researched and it appears our two options are to switch to one of the free ad free blog hosting services or stay here and pay $4 a month.
Mindful Webworkers mentioned that he switched to the Opera browser and doesn’t see pop ups.
I use Firefox and don’t notice them except at YouTube where little boxes appear on some of the videos as I’m watching them. But I am not sure if those are technically pop up ads or if the specific YouTuber gets paid to host them.
