In memory of their son Michael Brown – Lesley (Lezley) McSpadden and step-dad Louis Head incited a riot in Ferguson after a grand jury refused to indict Officer Darren Wilson in November 2014.
Michael Brown’s parents were awarded $1.5 million by a sympathetic court after their son robbed a store, assaulted the store’s minority owner, attacked a cop, grabbed for his gun, charged the cop and was shot dead.

DNC quickly reverses itself on recently imposed ban on Big Oil contributions
In June of this year, the Democratic National Committee voted to ban its accepting donations from fossil fuel companies.
The resolution ― proposed by Christine Pelosi, a party activist and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s daughter ― bars the organization from accepting contributions from corporate political action committees tied to the oil, gas and coal industries. The executive committee voted unanimously to approve the motion.
However, two months later, this ban has just been rescinded.

Bad news: Their trip plans are FUBAR as they have yet another 5 days of sitting still while waiting on part delivery and installation. Boston Globe Calls for All Media Outlets to Publish Anti-Trump Editorials Next Week
They have asked a number news organizations to publish editorials condemning the president’s labeling of the press as “the enemy of the people.”
Marjorie Pritchard, who oversees the Globe’s editorial page, says dozens of newspapers have agreed so far to write their own editorials, according to the Associated Press.

Several cable networks ran a special last week on Trayvon “St. Skittles” Martin called “Rest In Power.” I didn’t bother watching it, but I’m sure it is a whitewashing of the fact that he was nothing but a vicious punk who planned to beat and rob a white dude. George Zimmerman was armed. Trayvon lost. The occurrence of white people killing black people is extremely rare, so it became an excuse for the race hustlers to ply their trade. At their 2016 convention the Democrats brought his birth unit along with Michael Brown’s mother on stage and applauded wildly like they had done something heroic instead of spawning savage criminals. [The former East Bay community college teacher] was charged with four counts of felony assault with a deadly weapon, causing great bodily injury, has taken a deal resulting in three years of probation for an attack at a Berkeley protest last year, court records reveal.
Wednesday, Clanton was supposed to have had his preliminary hearing, where a judge decides whether there’s enough evidence in a case for it to move ahead to trial. Instead, there was no hearing, and information about Clanton’s plea deal became available online.
