2017 Charlie Gard

CHARLIE GARD: Charlie Gard’s parents were unable to use the £1.3 million (about $1.5 million USD) they raised to transfer Charlie to the U.S. for experimental treatment. They’ve decided to start a Charlie Gard Foundation to help families in similar circumstances.

TRANNIES IN THE MILITARY: President Trump could save American taxpayers nearly $2 billion if he follows through on his plan to ban military service for severely gender-confused (“transgender”) individuals.

That is the estimate for the cost of the “transgender” military policy begun under Obama, accordign to a paper by Family Research Council.

CHRONIC FATIGUE SYNDROME: Researchers at the Stanford University School of Medicine have linked chronic fatigue syndrome to variations in 17 immune-system signaling proteins, or cytokines, whose concentrations in the blood correlate with the disease’s severity.

The findings provide evidence that inflammation is a powerful driver of this mysterious condition, whose underpinnings have eluded researchers for 35 years.

“There’s been a great deal of controversy and confusion surrounding ME/CFS — even whether it is an actual disease,” said Davis. “Our findings show clearly that it’s an inflammatory disease and provide a solid basis for a diagnostic blood test.”

FAKE NEWS: The story of a nun who received Vatican permission to witness a Catholic marriage in a remote Canadian diocese with few priests has seized international attention — the implication being it may portend a new role for women in the Church. But the situation is far from unprecedented and is allowed under canon law.

Trump’s Big Beautiful Wall

BORDER PATROL 2017 Trump frees Border Patrol by Branco

According to Red Jahnke at Investor’s Business Daily, Trump has already built a virtual wall on our southern border called “deterrence” — the deterrent effect of actually enforcing immigration law.

Homeland Security reports that apprehensions have plummeted to about 50% of what they were under “Open Borders” Obama.  Trump claims the numbers sneaking in are down by more than 75%.

One coyote said he has taken only one client over the U.S. border since Trump’s inauguration vs. the one to two groups he took each month under Obama.

Stephen Miller: 1, Media Butt-Sniffers: 0

General Sherman burned Atlanta in 1864. Smoke arose from Atlanta once again yesterday, not from buildings burning, but the massive egos at CNN Headquarters being torched.

White House adviser Stephen Miller came out to discuss Trump’s plan to cut legal immigration. Our favorite presstitute, Jim “sexual” Acosta (my original thought for this month), stepped forward as the first contestant in this version of “Are you smarter than a 5th grader?”  It wasn’t pretty.

Keith Koffler wrote this:

CNN’s Acosta Accuses Trump of Racism with New Immigration Plan

CNN’s Jim Acosta got into it with White House advisor Stephen Miller during an exchange in the White House briefing room this afternoon about an immigration proposal backed by Trump that would favor skilled workers who speak English.

“It sounds like you’re trying to engineer the racial and ethnic flow of people into this country,” Acosta said.

“That’s one of the most outrageous, insulting, ignorant, and foolish things you’ve ever said,” Miller responded. “The notion that you think that this is a racist bill is so wrong and so insulting.”

Acosta then got on the air and said President Trump’s “bias against Latino immigrants” has “infected” senior administration officials like Miller.

FAR LEFT MORON GLENN THRUSH THEN TOOK A SHOT. HE DID NO BETTER.

Stephen Miller Owns Glenn Thrush: ‘NYT Can Hire All The Low-Skilled Workers – See How You Feel!’

Senior Advisor Stephen Miller went on an absolute tear today as he expanded on a new legal immigration bill supported by President Trump.  Far left New York Times hack Glenn Thrush made the mistake of attacking Miller.

Miller then jokingly told Thrush that they could make a carve-out in the bill to specifically allow The New York Times to take in as many unskilled workers as they want, at the cost of creating jobs for American citizens.

“The New York Times can hire all the low-skilled less-pay workers they want from other countries and see how you feel,” Miller said to Thrush.

Miller ‘Had A Blast’ Schooling Acosta On Immigration

Acosta tried to lecture Miller on immigration issues, where he appeared to argue that the Statue of Liberty somehow bans America from prioritizing high-skilled immigrants.

“What you’re proposing, or what the president’s proposing here, does not sound like it’s in keeping with American tradition when it comes to immigration,” Acosta said. “The Statue of Liberty says, ‘give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses,’ it doesn’t say anything about speaking English or being able to be a computer programmer.

“Well, first of all, right now, it’s a requirement that to be naturalized you have to speak English, so the notion that speaking English wouldn’t be a part of immigration systems would be very ahistorical,” Miller responded.

Trump Advisor Miller Schools Acosta: Statue of Liberty Poem on Huddled Masses Added Later

“The only immigrants mentioned at the dedication in 1886 were the ‘illustrious descendants of the French nobility’ who fought on behalf of the United States against Britain during the American Revolution,” the Times reported.

Emma Lazarus’s poem only belatedly became synonymous with the Statute of Liberty,” the Times reported.

MSNBC: Miller’s Battle with Media Using ‘Xenophobia’ Was Maybe Because He Got Bullied as a Kid

Talk about a bad day to be a member of the liberal media. Licking their wounds from White House official Stephen Miller sparring with the press corps on Wednesday, MSNBC’s Deadline:  White House denounced Miller as the kid who probably got bullied in school while his words were filled with “xenophobia” and nothing but “white identity politics.”

Fox anchor on Miller: ‘Don’t put that guy in front of cameras again’

Fox News host Eric Bolling criticized White House senior adviser Stephen Miller for his comments at Wednesday’s press briefing, saying, “Don’t put that guy in front of the cameras again.”

Miller got into a heated exchange with CNN’s Jim Acosta while answering questions in place of press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, bashing the network’s White House correspondent for his “cosmopolitan bias.”

Bolling said Wednesday evening that while he disagreed with some parts of President Trump’s newly announced plan to cut legal immigration, “It’s really really important for the country. Merit-based immigration is fantastic.”

DNA discovery identifies living descendants of Biblical Canaanites

“In light of the enormously complex history of this region in the last few millennia, it was quite surprising that over 90 percent of the genetic ancestry of present-day Lebanese was derived from the Canaanites,” said Chris Tyler-Smith, senior group leader at The Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, in a statement.

Palin lawyers blocked from grilling reporters in defamation suit

A Manhattan federal court judge will decide by the end of this month whether to dismiss a defamation lawsuit Sarah Palin filed against the New York Times for accusing the former Alaska governor of inciting gun violence.

In the meantime, Judge Jed Rakoff suspended discovery, blocking Palin’s lawyers from grilling two dozen Times reporters to prove the Gray Lady is biased against her.

Huckabee Sanders Rips Into Media: ‘You Want to Create a Narrative That Doesn’t Exist’
Sarah Huckabee Sanders sounded off passionately on Tuesday against the Russia collusion theories pushed by some in the media.

“Everybody wants to make try to make this some story about misleading,” she shot back to a question about Donald Trump Jr.’s meeting with a Russian lawyer.

1 Million Illegal Immigrants To Have California Driver’s License By 2018

IF THE ILLEGALS HAVE NEVER HEARD OF ‘MOTOR VOTER’, THEY WILL SOON.
More than 905,000 illegal immigrants have a California driver’s license at this point, and that number could rise to more than a million by January of 2018.

By the end of June 2017, more than 900,000 drivers have been registered under California Assembly Bill 60, which requires only proof of identity and residency, not immigration status, in order to receive a license to drive a car.

Top EPA official resigns over direction of agency under Trump

The former EPA official made $249,000 in her last year of employment, according to the website FederalPay.org, which compiles federal salary data.

For comparison, the average American’s salary is $44,000, according to the Census Bureau, and a senator or congressman makes $174,000 a year.

Southerland’s base salary was $185,100 in 2016. She got a $64,155 bonus that year, and, according to FederalPay.org, she was in “highest-paid ten percent of employees” at EPA.

JUST THINK… 30 YEARS OF SUCKING UP A GOVERNMENT CHECK DOWN THE CRAPPER

Elizabeth “Betsy” Southerland ended her 30-year run at the agency with a scathing exit letter in which she claimed that “the environmental field is suffering from the temporary triumph of myth over truth.” She last worked as the director of science and technology in the Office of Water.

“The truth is there is NO war on coal, there is NO economic crisis caused by environmental protection, and climate change IS caused by man’s activities,” Southerland wrote, directly rejecting many of Trump’s claims.

Pinkerton: The ‘Hard Pivot’ from Health Care to Tax Reform and a Stronger Trump Agenda

We can look back and see that the repeal-and-replace effort was a valiant try at keeping a campaign promise, but it just wasn’t working. Sometimes, as Kenny Rogers might have put it, you’ve got to “Know when to fold ‘em/ Know when to walk away.” Yes, that’s the “the secret to survivin’.” As Trump has always said, failure can happen, but tactical flexibility is the key to long-term success.

Mindful of that survive-so-as-to-fight-again-and-win ethos, GOP leaders on both ends of Pennsylvania Avenue have been making what’s been described by one insider as “a hard pivot to tax reform.”

MOVIE: The Note

If I hadn’t watched this with Dearest, I would have thought it was a chick flick, cuz there’s no blood, guts, car chases, or gun play. But he really liked it a lot. It’s clean, heart-warming, and has good values. Just a pleasant, undemanding flick that brought a happy tear to my eye at the end.

Mythbusting the “Republican Strategy”

Why Did the Democratic South Become Republican?  [5:20]

The south used to vote Democrat. Now it votes Republican. Why the switch? Some people say it was because the GOP decided to appeal to racist whites. Carol Swain, Professor of Political Science at Vanderbilt University, explains that this is a myth.

A Missed Opportunity

When Anthony Scaramucci was first tapped to be Trump’s CoS, I, apparently along with a million others, thought of how to insert this little ditty in a timely fashion:

Scaramooch, Scaramooch, will you do the fandango?

Tell me Bohemian rhapsody didn’t go through your mind.  You’re lying.

Anthony Scaramucci Out As White House Communications Director | NBC News

I have a theory which, along with a dollar will get you a cup of coffee at McDonald’s. Some think he was brought in specifically to get rid of Spicer and Priebus. As the head of the RNC, Preeby was good buddies with McConnell, Graham, Boehner, all the Nevertrumpers. It is highly likely that he was the source of some of the leaks coming from the inside.

2017_08 01 I know it was you Priebo

Trump probably hired Scaramucci because he seemed like a no-nonsense type. Never mind the fact his beliefs ran counter to everything Trump ran for office on. He made it all about himself, which is not a good career move. The bombastic, grenade-throwing style was not what the president needed. He was replaced by General John Kelly, a no-nonsense career military man who demands discipline and loyalty. Word is that even Ivanka and Jared have to answer to him. Hopefully, he made a condition of his appointment that when he made a public statement, Trump wouldn’t contradict what he said an hour later.

When a regular politician of either party is elected president, they have a national organization to help establish the agenda ,including lawyers, political operatives, hangers-on, and ne’er-do-wells. Trump had none of that when he was inaugurated. The GOP elite didn’t want him and the Democrats sure as hell didn’t. Holdovers from past administrations and NeverTrumpers systematically leaked information daily in an effort to cripple his ability to get organized and begin the demands of governance.

REPORT: POTUS Preparing For “Independent WH” – Warfare Against GOP Congress

On the same day that Anthony Scaramucci was removed as White House Communications Director, leaks have been flowing out of the Trump administration.

According CNBC’s John Harwood, an anonymous “Ryan-Priebus” ally revealed to the reporter that President Trump is preparing to plot a more “independent” course for the White House, while taking on GOP lawmakers.

U.S. Senator Rand Paul said he spoke to President Donald Trump by phone about healthcare reform on Monday and told the president he thought Trump had the authority to create associations that would allow organizations to offer group health insurance plans.

Allowing groups like AARP, which represents retirees, to form health associations could enable individuals and small businesses to form larger groups to negotiate with health insurance companies for lower rates.

WHITE HOUSE: Ten days after appointing him, Trump has fired Scaramucci due to his expletive-laden interview with New Yorker reporter

Scaramucci threatened to fire the White House communications staff and descended into a profanity-laced rant about senior strategist Steve Bannon and then-Chief of Staff Reince Preibus.

Anthony Scaramucci Goes On Profane Tirade | NBC Nightly News

Huckabee Sanders Condemns Scaramucci’s Vulgar Comments in New Yorker Interview

Scaramucci told Lizza that Priebus was “a f***ing paranoid schizophrenic.” He then turned on Steve Bannon saying, “I’m not Steve Bannon. I’m not trying to suck my own c**k.”

On Monday, Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Scaramucci was fired after his interview with The New Yorker.

Getting The Troops in Line: All White House Staff Will Report to General John Kelly

“General Kelly will bring new structure to the White House and discipline, strength and we’re all really excited to work with him,” she continued.

According to Sanders, there will be no exceptions. Senior White House advisors Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, Kellyanne Conway and Steven Bannon will report to Kelly.

Since the ousting of Reince Priebus on Friday and the hiring of Kelly, questions have swirled about whether he would be able to establish a chain of command and restore order in the West Wing. He appears to be doing just that with the abrupt firing of Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci Monday afternoon, just 10-days after he was hired.
