DAILY PRAYER: Dear Lord, Grant us the graces we need to willingly and joyfully submit to Your will and Your will alone. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.
FBI: The man seen on video delivering expensive brand new face shields to rioters in LA is in custody. The U.S. attorney in Los Angeles said catching this guy could go a long way toward identifying who is funding the riots.
HOBBS ACT: AG Bondi says rioters and looters will be charged under the Hobbs Act, which is frequently used in connection with cases involving street gangs. It carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.
PSA: Buy neon colored swim suits. – Just saw this safety tip. Drowning is one of the leading causes of death for young people, with children under the age of 5 being at highest risk. Blues, greens, and blacks tend to disappear under water, making it harder for lifeguards to see the victim. Neons show up best.
GRAMMY NOTES: [:30] – Oh my gosh … I am SO EXCITED! CLICK https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=603968842184995 to see what just showed up in my FB timeline! The Mascots love to hike and there are many wonderful places near us to do it. But I can barely walk. Lime Hollow is very close to us! Next visit, I’m going HIKING WITH MY GRANDKIDS!
DAILY PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help each of us to recognize our limitations and to cultivate modest hearts. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.
COVID: Tulsi Gabbard, Trump’s Director of National Intelligence, has released newly declassified documents revealing the Biden administration labeled vaxxx and mask mandate critics as “Domestic Violent Extremists.”
TARIFFS: May was the first full month since Trumps new tariffs took effect. Revenues from them hit an all-time high of $23.28 billion. The year-to-date total is $93.85 billion.
TRAVEL BANS: President Trump has signed a declaration banning all travel from 12 countries: Afghanistan, Burma, Chad, Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen. President Trump says in the proclamation, “I must act to protect the national security and national interest of the United States and its people.” In addition to outright bans, the proclamation also calls for heightened restrictions on visitors from Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan and Venezuela. The new travel protocols go into effect at 12:01 am Monday.
GRAMMY NOTES: Years ago, we had to get public assistance for a brief period. We received a new monthly check a couple of days after Dearest had landed a new job, so I took the check down to the welfare office to return the money. I guess they were short-staffed, because only one window was open and the line was very long. When I was finally in the #2 spot, the lady ahead of me told the beleaguered staff worker that she was there for the same reason I was. Upon hearing she’d have to wait until someone from upstairs told the worker how to handle it, the woman flipped out and, cussing at the poor worker, wadded up the check and threw it over the counter. The poor worker looked like she was going to cry, so I tried to be as nice as possible, telling her I was FINE with waiting while she called upstairs. A few minutes later, the answer came down from on high. With a big grin, the worker told me, “You can keep the check.”
DAILY PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to see and smell all the roses among the thorns. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.
BORDER: While most of the Chinese students and researchers are in the United States for legitimate academic reasons, some of them are here to spy on us and steal intellectual property. On May 28, Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced we will begin to “aggressively revoke” the visas of Chinese students who pose a threat and will be giving stricter scrutiny of future visa applications from China and Hong Kong.
CHINA: U.S. Trade Representative Ambassador Jamieson Greer says China has been “slow rolling their compliance” with the May 12 trade agreement, “which is completely unacceptable.” Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent says, “I am confident that the Chinese will come to the table when President Trump makes his preferences known.”
COURTS: A federal judge has ruled that DOGE employees who have satisfied the Training, Vetting and Mitigation Procedures may access the Treasury’s Bureau of the Fiscal Service, which is used by the federal government to distribute trillions of dollars in payments. The ruling came in response to a lawsuit filed by Democratic-led states.
The Supreme Court ruled that Trump has the authority to rescind the temporary legal status the Biden administration gave half a million “refugees” they had flown here to reduce the numbers being recorded coming across the border.
FAFO: Megha Vemuri, the 2025 class president of MIT, gave a pro-Palestine/anti-Israel speech in which she accused her alma mater of promoting genocide. A day later, she was told she would not be allowed to participate in Friday’s graduation ceremony.
HAMAS: Israeli Omer Shem Tov, who was freed in February after spending 505 days in Hamas captivity, told CNN that his captors desperately wanted Kamala Harris to win the 2024 election. “They were very scared of him. … [A]s soon as Donald Trump was elected, they understood that he wanted to bring us back home. … When Trump became president, … they started giving [me] more food. … Stopped cursing me. They stopped spitting on me.”
ICE: Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials took 40 people into custody on Nantucket Island and Martha’s Vineyard; they included MS-13 gang members, as well as at least one child sex offender. The Coasties helped to safely and efficiently remove them from the islands.
JAKE TAPPER: CLICK https://x.com/BonillaJL/status/1926678379836670196 [3:50] to listen to Speaker Johnson’s response to Tapper’s attempt to act like a journalist. I used to respect Tapper. I dunno if I was just naive or if he sold out.
GALLUP’s latest poll asking, “How much confidence do you have in television news?” netted t.v.’s talking heads a minus 44 rating, with only 12% of respondents choosing “a great deal” or “quite a lot” vs. 56% choosing “very little” or “none.”
CLICK https://x.com/BreitbartNews/status/1928475916604203211 [1:21] to hear how the leftist media talks to Trump’s people. Maybe if these jerks had talked to Biden’s people like this, they wouldn’t need to be trying to blame the Biden White House for not telling them the president was a vegetable.
MIDDLE EAST: Last July, Israel took out Hamas’s political leader Ismail Haniyeh and Mohammed Deif, the head of Hamas’s military wing.
Last October, they took out Yahya Sinwar, who was the leader of Hamas at the time and the mastermind behind Hamas’s Oct. 7, 2023, terrorist attack on Israel.
This week, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced they have eliminated Mohammed Sinwar, who had succeeded his brother.
BORDER: The Tennessee Star has revealed that Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the suspected M-13 gang member the Democrats want returned to the U.S., was stopped driving without a license in 2022. Despite the fact that the Tennessee Highway Patrol suspected him of trafficking the seven people inside the vehicle and that the man was on a terrorist watch list, Biden’s FBI ordered them to release him.
The one thing that is puzzling me about the Abrego Garcia case is conflicting report about his status in the country. The Alien Enemies Act requires “aliens to be duly apprehended and convened before such court, judge or justice; and after a full examination and hearing on such complaint and sufficient cause therefor appearing” etc. etc. Lots of the news reports say he was never given his day in court; the White House says he was.
GOOD DOG: Two-year old Boden Allen wandered out into the Arizona wilderness about 100 miles south of the Grand Canyon. A massive manhunt ensued with 40 rescuers, including Department of Public Safety rangers and a DPS helicopter. The teams spotted at least two mountain lions in the area. Thanks to a ranch dog named Buford, Boden was found, safe and in good health. The little boy had walked seven miles from his home and spent the night under a tree. LAWFARE: [13:48] – Activist Democrat and New York Attorney General Letitia James is in a world of trouble. CLICK https://x.com/libsoftiktok/status/1912569749198045646 [:57] to hear James rant about the suit against her like she’s Rosa Parks, not a flaming hypocrite.
In other news … while researching this post, I stumbled over the fact that Letitia James’ current net worth is approximately $17 Million. Her NY AG job pays $165,000; this appears to be the highest paying job she has ever held.
LIVE: Comment by Viana Santoni-Oliver- I remember being in a grocery store after the Floyd riots when I witnessed 2 Black men, being gentlemen, telling a White woman to proceed ahead of them. She said no and then said “Black lives matter.” The second Black man loudly said, “All lives matter.” She was taken aback, to say the least.

10/ Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer: Uncovered massive fraud—$400M in bogus unemployment payments. Money went to 25,000 “people” over 115 years old and 10,000 not yet born. Returning billions to Treasury.
11/ DHS Secretary Kristi Noem: The second month of record-low border crossings. Implementing a self-deportation program with a path to return legally. Special provisions coming for farm workers. “We have 21 million people who need to go home, because they’re here breaking our laws.”
12/ DOGE leader Elon Musk: Identified $150B in government waste. Trump Gold Card operational within a week—appears linked to the immigration system mentioned earlier.
13/ DNI Tulsi Gabbard: Found evidence voting machines vulnerable to hacking, pushing for paper ballots. Bombshell: Releasing RFK and MLK assassination documents within days.

17/ State Secretary Marco Rubio: Peace talks with Iran are scheduled for Saturday. Cracking down on student visas: “No one has a right to a student visa… the press covers them like they’re birthright citizenship.”
DAILY PRAYER: Dear Lord, Thank You for the experiences and moments that have shaped me. Help me to learn from my mistakes and to grow in wisdom and understanding. Let me see Your hand at work in my life so I will be better able to trust in Your plan for my future. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
CATHOLIC: This year, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception will be celebrated on Monday, December 9, rather than December 8 which falls on the Second Sunday of Advent. This feast is a holy day of obligation, meaning Catholics are required to attend Mass on Sunday and Monday this week.
DEI: The University of Michigan has announced that it will no longer require diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) statements for faculty hiring, promotion, and tenure decisions.
DOGE: In October, a Senate report revealed that only 6% of the government’s workers are showing up in person every day. The report added that this has caused an increase of people slacking on the job, including bureaucrats being “found in a bubble bath, on the golf course, running their own business, and even getting busted doing crime while on taxpayers’ time.” The report further noted that this has resulted in “service backlogs and delays, unanswered phone calls and emails, and no-show appointments.” Meanwhile, taxpayers are spending nearly $16 billion a year on empty office buildings.
PRAYERS NEEDED: Phil Robertson has been suffering from a disorder that leaves him barely able to walk from place to place in his home without shouting from the pain. In addition, he has entered the early stages of Alzheimer’s.
PRESIDENTIAL PARDONS: [10:43] – Civics Review gives a history lesson on this odd constitutional power the framers gave to POTUS and strongly suggests Biden’s pardon of his biological son goes beyond what those men felt was appropriate.
TRANS: A doctor celebrated as “America’s best-known practitioner of youth gender medicine” is being sued for medical negligence by Kaya Clementine Breen. Included in the suit are the therapist she referred Breen to, the surgeon who removed Breen’s breasts, and other medical professionals involved in rushing Breen through procedures that have deeply and negatively impacted her future.
The suit notes that, in addition to confusion about her gender, Breen presented with “anxiety, depression, autism, undiagnosed post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), potential bipolarism, … psychosis (including audio and visual hallucinations), panic attacks, and paranoia. Her family also has a lengthy history of mental health issues. She needed psychotherapy to evaluate, assess, and treat her complex co-morbid mental health symptoms.”
She didn’t get these things. “Instead, she was fast-tracked onto the conveyor belt of irreversibly damaging puberty blockers (age 12), cross-sex hormones (age 13), and [a double mastectomy] (age 14).”
VAXXX: Remember when the FDA claimed it would need up to 75 years to process and release the documents they used to give emergency authorization for the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine? Well, Judge Mark Pittman of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas said, and I paraphrase, “Screw that. You’ve got til June 30, 2025.”
The FDA claimed it could not possibly have found the time to photocopy or copy/paste these files on to a hard drive at a rate of more than 500 pages per month. So how the hell did they manage to digest all the data they contain in the few short weeks they had them before issuing the Emergency Use Authorization that resulted in people being mandated/coerced/shamed into injecting them into their bodies or fired/jailed/ostracized for refusing them?!
GRAMMY NOTES: I really enjoyed this drawing exercise from https://www.lanagloschatart.com/products/communities/thecolorclub/home. The challenge was to use only one red, one yellow, and one blue colored pencil. BTW, the paper is taped to the smooth back side of a glass cutting board that I evicted from my kitchen, because it dulled my knives. It’s a very handy drawing board and sometimes I like to use the pebbly side for the texture.
