   Basically:

   Most jobs are created by small businesses whose owners file individually, not as corporations.

   “Soaking the rich” isn’t going to hurt the real Fat Cats whose wealth is invested in corporations.

   It’s going to hurt small business owners who make most of the jobs in this country.

   When you tax something, you get less of it.

   Obama’s tax proposal is going to HURT, not HELP job creation.

   GOOD article! Kaminsky exposes the logical and scientific flaws in the man-made global warming cult’s belief system, then he exposes some of the blatant lies they’ve employed, and finally he shows that the real point behind it all is not to “save the planet” but to devastate our culture in the name of global socialism.

   This is why I have changed my terminology to divide the former “left” into what I consider to be true Liberals (people who care about people) from what I consider to be evil Leftists (people who hate and want only to dominate and destroy people).

   Where protecting the environment is concerned, I believe that true Conservatives are on the same page with true Liberals. We all understand that we live on this beautiful planet and need to take good care of it.

   Both groups recognize that evil Capitalists who dump toxins to make a buck need to be stopped for the good of all.

   Where I think the Liberals fall down is that they don’t seem to recognize the real evil driving the Leftists who are merely using environmentalism to further their destructive political agenda.

   NOBODY has raped the planet to the degree that Communist governments have done. The environmental damage done in the USSR and China is vast. Yet this is exactly the kind of government the Leftists desire for the WHOLE PLANET.

   President Obama is a true Leftist. He is trying to do through the EPA and the Department of the Interior what he knows he cannot get through Congress, what he could not get through the Senate even when the Democrats had a filibuster-proof 60-vote majority.

   Read the article. Kaminsky makes it very clear that the real agenda behind the Green Left is to reduce our standard of living. No true Liberal should support it.

   Ya’ll know I’m in for Palin. But of course I’ll support the eventual GOP nominee, whoever that may be. However, I sure hope we can get someone who doesn’t have their own version of Solyndra:

   NY Post piece has this telling tidbit:

   “Money-man Warren Buffett … gripes that his 17.4 percent rate is less than his secretary’s. … Buffett’s income comes largely from dividends and investment gains taxed nominally at 15 percent; much of that has already been taxed as corporate income, at 35 percent. Buffett’s actual bottom-line bill? North of 40 percent.”

     Just think how high his rate would be if his corporation actually paid the taxes, instead of owing a billion in back taxes!

     I think it is important to note, as you did above, that the dividend tax rate is effectively 50%, because as we know the corp. must first pay the 35% corp. tax rate, then the recipient pays the 15%. Dividends fund an awful lot of people in retirement – I hope like the dickens I will be on e of them. Since I work for myself I have no pension, so I have bought individual stocks my whole career. I do not spend the dividends, even though I am taxed on them. Before the Bush tax cuts the tax rate on the dividends was considerably higher, too. I take the dividends and buy more stock, so that some day there will be enough income to supplement the social security and I can stay in my house (i.e. have enough money to pay the real estate taxes!) I hope it will work out this way, but I am not so sure with everything that has gone on in the past few years. In the meantime, I have been taking the risk to help corporations get the capital they need to expand and improve, while paying the taxes all along. This is something that I would think we want to encourage.

     P.S. I will not be subject to that millionaires tax, just in case you guys were wondering! 🙂
