Obama also reminded Conservatives that we have complained about judicial activism, as if should should automatically agree with him that SCOTUS should keep their mitts off ObamaCare.     Great synopsis Chrissie.
    One should add that Obama was never a law professor as he is touted to be. He simply taught some classes. Big difference!
    And he is no longer a lawyer for that matter.
    It is still a state secret as to why he does not have a law license any longer. Of course, they spun it that he and Moo decided to work for the community when they could of had a lucrative law practice, but the truth is, they were being brought up before the board of review for ethics violations, but rather than have that on their record, they just did not renew their licenses.
    I still cannot believe this man was elected with all of these skeletons in his closet.
    We really are living in “1984”.

    I got a kick out of that 5th district Court of Appeals judge’s assignment to the DOJ lawyer. Maybe he was out of bounds, I don’t know the etiquette of Appeals Courts, etc. But it was delicious nevertheless.

    Only one US President has violated a SCOTUS order. In 1831, SCOTUS ruled on behalf of the Cherokee Nation and overturned the Indian Removal Act of 1830.

    President Jackson Andrew Jackson, founder of the Democratic Party, ignored the SCOTUS order and began forcefully removing Native Americans from their lands.

    Jackson was succeeded by another Democrat, Martin Van Buren, who had been Jackson’s Secretary of State. He made sure that the slaughter and theft of land, businesses, and pride continued.
