Feel Good video: I challenge y’all to watch this and NOT end up grinning!

I am a very happy Grammy this morning. My email treated me to some some uber cute pics of two of the grands learning about voting. Their mom made them secret (inside folders) ballots with two photo candidates each for four positions. Dad won Boss of Tools 2-0. Mom had a split on Boss of Clothes with a family friend, so she elected herself breaker of ties and named herself Boss of Clothes. #1 Son won Boss of LEGOS 2-0. #1 Daughter won Boss of Dolls 2-0. I’m grinning like a fool over what great moms my girls are!

In other Happy Grammy News, the BUZZERS ARE COMING TOMORROW!! Yeah, yeah, I know. They’ve said that twice before and had to cancel, but so far, so good. We’re down to talking about what brand of chicken nuggets the chillums will eat and who carries them, which is further than we got either of the other two times! I’m so excited!!

OVERALL: Republicans expanded their Senate majority (YAY!) while losing control of the House of Representatives (BOO!), limiting President Donald Trump’s options for pursuing a pro-life agenda for the remainder of his first term.

SEND IN THE CLOWNS: Dear God, Help us endure the next two years with Democrat whackos in leadership positions in the House. Rasmussen did a pre-election poll about Pelosi: 51% of Likely Democratic Voters said Democrats should choose someone else as speaker if they win the House, 34% said she should be speaker again,16% were undecided.

PRO-LIFE VICTORIES! Pro-lifers won major victories in West Virginia and Alabama. They amended the WV state constitution to include a line stating, “Nothing in this Constitution secures or protects a right to abortion or requires the funding of abortion.” And they amended the Alabama state constitution to “declare and otherwise affirm that it is the public policy of this state to recognize and support the sanctity of unborn life and the rights of unborn children, most importantly the right to life in all manners and measures appropriate and lawful; and…provide that the constitution of this state does not protect the right to abortion or require the funding of abortion.”

DEMOCRATS SUCK: It is illegal in Pennsylvania for campaign materials to be distributed or displayed within 10 feet of a polling place entrance. No campaigning is permitted within the polling place. The person who took these photos says the attendants knew about it and didn’t care. The phone number posted for reporting problems was busy.

SOUR GRAPES: Dems are whining about how the TOTAL of their votes in all the senate races is higher than the TOTAL of Republican votes, but they lost 3 seats. So wahhhh. Hillary could maybe have some company on her Whining About Losing Talk Tours. Wouldn’t THAT be special!

2018_11 06 Dems at Reed

GO LOWER: My rep, Tom Reed, posted on Facebook, “Earlier today Tracy Mitrano supporters brought a guillotine to our office and held up their middle fingers. THIS is the type of extremism we face every day.”

COINCIDENCE?  So every Dem Senator in a competitive race who voted against Kavanaugh lost (Donnelly, Heitkamp, McCaskill, and almost certainly Nelson), and the one who voted for Kavanaugh survived (Manchin). They were warned.

SPIN: “Beto O’Rourke lost in Texas, but he won a whole lot of hearts nationwide.” “Texas didn’t deserve this woke king.” Gag me! But these, yes! “So, billionaire Beto spent $100 million in other people’s money to get popular?” “Thank goodness the glorious state of Texas knows better.”

2018_11 Trump jobs

TRUMP ECONOMY: “Despite the fact that the mainstream media has largely ignored the booming economy, the public hasn’t. They are witnessing first hand how their lives have improved in the two years since voters handed Trump the presidency,” the Investor’s Business Daily editorial board writes.

The latest IBD/TIPP Poll results show that people [are] more optimistic about the economy, less financially stressed, less worried about jobs, more satisfied with the direction of the country, and happier with the federal government’s economic policies than they were in November 2016. The public also gives Trump higher marks on his handling of the economy than they did President Obama.”

PRAISE GOD: After nearly dying alone in a hospital in a foreign country following a serious motorcycle accident, a young man says he has turned away from homosexual activity. “I may not be free of these same-sex attractions, but these desires don’t define me anymore, since God’s love took hold of my life.” When his family traveled to Cambodia after the accident, they found him in a crowded, dirty hospital ward with severe burns, broken bones, missing teeth, and a medical chart that had already declared him “dead.”
