CATHOLIC: CINO Joe’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has backed off on punishing a Catholic hospital system in Oklahoma if it didn’t remove the sanctuary candles from its hospital chapels.
CENSORSHIP: Jeffrey Tucker writes, “In a video podcast the other day, I made reference to the lockdown orders of March 2020. The host turned off the recording. He said it was fine to talk about this subject but from now on please refer to ‘the events of March 2020’ with no specifics. Otherwise, it will be taken down by YouTube and Facebook. He needs those platforms for reach, and reach is necessary for his business model.”
MAINE: The pro-abort Dem majority in this state’s government want to legalize abortion right up until birth; the current law says not after 24 weeks. On Tuesday, between 1,000 and 1,500 pro-lifers showed up to protest the bill; 65 showed up to support it.
MONTANA: Gov. Gianforte signed five pro-life measures including a ban on abortions after 24 weeks (except in cases where the mother’s life is at risk), protections for infants born alive following an attempted abortion, conscience protections for medical providers, a requirement to report all complications resulting from chemical abortions, and a measure clarifying that the right to privacy in the Montana Constitution doesn’t confer a right to abortion.
Tucker Carlson interview [1:27:17] – The alien segment isn’t until one hour, ten minutes. Before that, Tucker talks about Canada, his family life, Jeffrey Epstein, and I don’t know what else cuz I skipped through to find the alien bit. He’s right about one thing; there definitely is evidence that inter-dimensional (not inter-planetary) beings visit and interact with us. Taken all together, it points to demons. Google: alien intrusion, alien deception, alien resistance, gary bates, gary malone.

Gary Malone talk [1:51:32] – I particularly like Gary Malone, in part because he’s articulate and faithful, but also because when I corrected him on a point of Catholic doctrine, he wrote a really nice email back apologizing and promising to get it right from now on.
“ALIEN INTRUSION: Unmasking A Deception” is excellent, except for the part where they ramble on about the Big Bang, which they get really wrong. The only people who have a problem with the Big Bang theory are atheists and Young Earth creationists. For the rest of us, it was a blessing and, I might add, was first proposed by a Catholic priest/physicist who personally convinced Albert Einstein that his idea had merit.
Atheists hated it, because it proved that creation had a beginning, just like it says in Genesis. They preferred their eternal universe theory, in part because it provided an infinite amount of time for natural evolution to produce human beings. The Big Bang has put a date on the beginning of the universe that makes the very idea that blind, undirected processes created life absolutely ludicrous.
Young Earth creationists don’t like the Big Bang, because it provides scientific evidence that the universe was created about 14 billion years ago and the Earth only came to be after the first generation (G1) of stars had burned out, gone nova, then reformed into G2 stars, which is what our Sol is. My favorite response to Young Earth theories is explained in “The Genesis Code” which explains how God created the universe in billions of years AND in six days. It’s FASCINATING. I’ve shown the key segment* to many people and they all have ended up with dropped jaws, bugged eyes, and a desire to buy the DVD so they can share it with others.
*The physics/theology stuff is about 20 minutes embedded in a lovely little Christian romance/conversion story.
CATHOLIC: Under CINO Joe, the targeting of Catholic institutions and principles has reached unprecedented heights. The latest … the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has ordered Saint Francis Health System snuff out the Tabernacle candle in their hospital chapels or lose its ability to accept Medicare, Medicaid, or CHIP.
The candles have been in use in Saint Francis hospital for decades and in Catholic churches for centuries without any problem. The ones in the chapels are not only encased in glass and covered with brass, but are also located near sprinklers far away from medical equipment. In addition, there are other flames in the hospitals, such as pilot lights and those in gas stove heaters, that HHS is apparently unconcerned about.
I have never heard of and could not find any report of a single fire being caused by a Tabernacle lamp. Catholic church fires have started spontaneously during renovations, when flammable materials were left out, but most often are due to vandalism.
A lit candle burning inside a red container tells the faithful that Jesus Christ in the Eucharist is present in the Tabernacle. To remove the candle would mean removing the Eucharist from the Tabernacle, making it unavailable to the faithful. This is clearly about removing Jesus from Catholic hospitals, not about protecting anybody from a mythical fire hazard.
GET WOKE, GO BROKE: Dylan Mulvaney recently announced that his decision to take hormones was a “very private” one. This from a guy who has made “look at me” TikToks every day about every aspect of his “really beautiful journey.”
HYPOCRISY: It’s pretty much a given that whatever skulduggery a Democrat is accusing a Republican of doing, it is really a Democrat who is actually doing it. During the last few weeks, Wrongs have engaged in a coordinated assault on conservative SCOTUS Justices Thomas and Gorsuch.
AOC said the planned to file articles of impeachment against Thomas for accepting vacations from a close friend without disclosing them publicly. It turns out he had no legal or ethical requirement to report them at all. Another charge about misreported income turned out to be about someone with a similar name. Oops.
As for Neil Gorsuch, he was accused of selling land to the executive of a law firm. The property had been on the market for two years, the sale went through just nine days after Gorsuch was confirmed to the high court, and the firm had no business before the court at the time.
Now we learn that Justice Sotomayor took $3.6 million from a book company that did have business before the court at the time and did not recuse herself. Oops. Bonchie at Red States notes, “While the accusations against the conservative justices were silly and shallow, there is actual meat on the bone regarding what Sotomayor did.”
MILITARY: Dearest and I were watching an episode of JAG that originally aired in February 2001. One of the story lines was about forcing the Navy to spend millions of dollars retrofitting submarines with female quarters and sanitary facilities, so that women could serve aboard them. The whole attitude seemed to be that what was best for the military was totally beside the point, because “how dare they tell a women what she can and can not do!” And I sat there thinking, “This is how we ended up pandering to trannies.”
The latest insult? A drag queen slash sailor has been appointed to the Navy’s new recruitment push. “They” wrote on Instagram, “From joining to 2016 and being able to share my drag experience on my off time with my fellow sailors has been a blessing. Thank you to the Navy for giving me this opportunity! I don’t speak for the Navy but simply sharing my experience in the Navy! Hooyah, and let’s go Slay!”
TAX DOLLARS: The Biden administration is offering a $500,000 grant to help teach the English language in Pakistan. One of the stated goals of the grant is to enhance the “Professional Development for Transgender Youth and for Afghan Teachers, Students, and Young Professionals Residing in Pakistan.“

Jesus told St. Faustina, “My child, you please Me most by suffering…The more you will come to love suffering, My daughter, the purer your love for Me will be.”
St. Augustine said, “Trials and tribulations offer us a chance to make reparation for our past faults and sins. On such occasions, the Lord comes to us like a physician to heal the wounds left by our sins. Tribulation is the divine medicine.”
Therefore, offer your sufferings to Christ for your redemption and that of others. Your suffering has meaning!

BORDER: On Tuesday, the White House announced the Pentagon will be sending 1,500 U.S. military personnel to supplement Border Patrol resources for 90 days. FLORIDA: Gov. DeSantis signed into law a bill prohibiting financial institutions from discriminating against customers for their religious, political, or social beliefs. The new law also blocks wokeness in investment decisions made by state and local governments and directs the attorney general and commissioner of financial regulation to vigorously enforce the new law.
DeSantis noted that wokeness, under the label “ESG” (i.e., environmental, social, and governmental), has become a backdoor way for companies to impose woke values on taxpayers, retirees, and entire communities that would never approve such things at the ballot box. For example, Biden’s pro-ESG Labor Department created a rule in favor of ESG invesments and, when Congress passed a measure overturning that rule, Biden vetoed it.
IRS: Open The Books, a watchdog group that tracks government spending, says that, since the COVID-19 pandemic began, the Internal Revenue Service has spent a total of $10 million on militarizing the agency.

VAXXX: More of that famous “follow the science” donkey doo – A 41-year-old Georgia mother of seven young children has needed dialysis 3 times a week and is now in end-stage kidney disease. She was initially approved for a kidney transplant, until they found out she had refused the ‘rona jab on religious and medical grounds. Despite the fact that she has recovered naturally from COVID-19 and almost certainly has natural immunity, she’s been denied a space on the transplant list. Liberty Counsel (LC), a national nonprofit legal organization, is assisting her in fighting this. This isn’t about science!
ABORTION: [3:53] – Dr. Leroy Carhart (81) has gone to the reward he chose. This late-term abortionist, who referred to unborn human beings as “babies”, but thought of them as “parasites”, was one of the few abortionists in the country willing to slaughter healthy, viable, pain-capable fetuses and, on occasion, kill their mothers as well … and then lie about it.
Hailed by pro-aborts as a heroic and pioneering medical health professional, Carhart had a long and checkered history. Former staff said he lied about the gestational age of pre-born children in order to circumvent the law, allowed abortions to be committed without proper licensing, talked on the phone while committing multiple abortions, altered patient charts, and even fell asleep while injecting a patient with lidocaine. One complaint said Carhart committed an abortion on a patient who had active tuberculosis, but didn’t allow his staff to wear masks. Another said he had abandoned a patient in the middle of a procedure to go outside and throw rocks at a window.
Between August, 2011, and May, 2012, Operation Rescue went dumpster diving in Carhart’s clinic trash and recorded finding bio-hazardous waste, used syringes, partially full bottles of controlled drugs, and private patient information all illegally disposed of in publicly accessible containers. Also among the material recovered were post-procedure instructions given to patients instructing them not to go to an emergency room if they experienced complications but instead to call one of three “staff” numbers. One of the numbers did not go to a staff member, but to Mary Carhart’s horse show equipment business.
Apparently, Leroy and Mary Carhart were equal opportunity creeps. In 2013, animal control officers confiscated their four horses and two dogs, after finding them emaciated and living in mud and excrement a foot deep. One horse was said to be in such poor condition that it would have died without receiving immediate intervention.

On Thursday, the state legislature successfully overturned Gov Kelly’s veto of S.B. 180, making it the first state in the union to adopt legislation to keep men out of women’s private spaces, sports, and jail cells. Under the new law, a female, defined as “an individual whose biological reproductive system is developed to produce ova”, shall be called a “woman” or a “girl”, while a male, defined as “an individual whose biological reproductive system is developed to fertilize the ova of a female,” shall be referred to as a “man” or a “boy.” It also defines “mother” as a parent of the female sex and “father” as a parent of the male sex.

Gallup’s latest Presidential Approval Poll (April 3-25) shows FAUXTUS has hit a new low with just 37% of US adults approving of his job performance vs. 59% disapproving. He has been in the low 40% range for most of his time in office. At this point in his first term, Trump had 41.6% approval.
FOX NEWS: During the first week post-Tucker, Hannity’s show lost about 1.3 million viewers, while Laura Ingraham and Jesse Watters each lost about half a million. On Monday, Sean Hannity said during his show on Monday, “I have no idea. Was it Tucker’s decision? Was it Fox’s? Was it a mutual agreement that they had? I don’t know.”

The two-hour drag show reportedly featured “overt sexual innuendo, statements, jokes about oral and anal sex, hundreds of f-bombs, and a rotating cast of drag queen performers more garish and grotesque than the last.” In addition to the lap dance, Legans participated in several more events during the show, looking like she was having the time of her life the entire time.
North Point is an Atlanta-based, non-denominational mega-church that is pastored by gay-affirming Andy Stanley. He and many of his staffers and ministry leaders run pro-gay ministries, send kids to LGBTQ therapists, and praise trans. Andy is the son of the famous and recently deceased Charles Stanley, who is quite likely rolling in his grave.
UNITED METHODIST CHURCH: On Saturday, another 319 congregations left the UMC, bringing to 2,095 (about 7%) U.S. congregations that have withdrawn since 2019. The exodus has largely been fueled by the UMC blessing same-sex unions and ordaining non-celibate homosexuals. Last November, the UMC even made one of the “married” gay clergymen a bishop.

When Jessica Bates responded to what she believed was God’s call to care for a couple of orphans, she began the process with Oregon’s DHS. Her application was rejected when they found out that her faith would bar her from following the state’s requirement to “respect and celebrate” queer or gender diverse children by taking them to “pride” parades and similar functions, using alternate names, pronouns and other “gender queer” language, and assist them in obtaining puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and sex change surgeries.
Bates is suing Oregon’s DHS for violating her rights to free speech, free association, and to the free exercise of her faith protected by the First Amendment, as well as her right to equal protection under the law guaranteed by the Fourteenth Amendment. The Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) is representing her. They say that DHS selectively “excludes entire religious communities from participating in child welfare programs because of their religious views.”
ABORTION REVERSAL in COLORADO: Becket Law is representing Bella Health in its lawsuit against a new state lawbanning doctors from prescribing progesterone in hopes of reversing a medication abortion.
This procedure is not yet approved by the FDA … something I will remind my readers is also true for the ‘rona jab. But, unlike the jab, progesterone has been used safely in pregnancy for more than 50 years.
Progesterone must be taken after the first, but not the second, abortion pill has been swallowed. And, the sooner the better. After 72 hours, it’s unlikely to help at all. And even before, it may not work. But it offers hope and sometimes a healthy baby to women who regret swallowing that first pill.
Inexplicably, Colorado has not only decided to insert itself into the doctor-patient relationship, but done so with a slanderous and deceptively worded law. The act is nominatively concerned with banning “deceptive actions regarding pregnancy-related services.” And it starts out by affirming that, “in Colorado, a pregnant individual has a fundamental right to continue a pregnancy or to terminate a pregnancy by abortion.” But then it goes on to deprive women the right to regret and attempt to reverse an abortion.
However, before getting to the meat of the law, it devotes multiple paragraphs to sneering at crisis pregnancy centers which which (horrors) aim “to prevent abortions by persuading people that adoption or parenting is a better option” and which present “the ground-level presence of a well-coordinated anti-choice movement.” IOW, pregnant individuals have a right to continue a pregnancy, but how dare anyone suggest that would be a good idea!
Only after totally ignoring the fact that crisis pregnancy centers are almost always staffed by volunteers who, at the most, may do pregnancy tests and ultrasounds, the law goes on to ban doctors from prescribing progesterone to patients who request it.
