Today, Border Patrol posted, Thanks to everyone for their concern about Freddy who was injured while performing his duties at Dulles airport. He was treated by his veterinarian, and is expected to make a full recovery. Here he is enjoying his favorite comfort treat – a Pup Cup!

GROK: Dearest was suspicious of a text he got telling him UPS needed to schedule a delivery. I went to X and asked Grok if the URL was a scam or a genuine link. I got back “The URL https://www.ups.com@servicemik.cfd/us is not a genuine UPS link and is likely a scam.” It then gave us a detailed analysis, including the fact that the .cfd thing is used a lot by scammers.

Justices circulate Memos among with their legal views on certain cases in order to bring others around to their thinking. Given what she has written in her dissent, imagine the memos that Jackson must have sent around in this case. She was originally arrested for failing to appear at a custody hearing; the ICE detainer followed. Her age (37) put her pregnancy at high risk. She had experienced pelvic pain that sent her to the hospital in February before she was detained. Pramila’s claims are all based on Monterroso-Lemus’ own account, which cannot be corroborated; you can decide whether someone with her background is a reliable witness.

And just to add the cherry on top of Democrat BS, Homeland Security had noted the conditions at the Louisiana facility were subpar in 2023. The Biden administration did nothing to fix it.

DEMOCRATIC PARTY FINANCES: According to Elon Musk, the DNC was being funded by USAID and other NGOs that DOGE has shut down. In addition, only three large donors gave $100,000 or more to the DNC between January and April. As of the latest report, the DNC has $18 million, which is $4 million less than at the end of 2024.

Meanwhile, the Republican National Committee’s (RNC) funds grew by an astronomical $29 million between January and April of this year, bringing the current total to $67.4 million. Let us pray they use it to give Trump a solid MAGA majority in Congress next November so we won’t waste the rest of his precious second term fighting more ridiculous impeachment charges.

FBI: DepDir Dan Bongino reported on two child sex stings. Operation “Restoring Justice” apprehended 205 child sex predators and 764 purveyors, while rescuing 115 children; Operation “Soteria Shield” apprehended 244 child predators and rescued 109 children.

HAMAS: The Israel Defense Forces reported on Saturday that Saeed Izadi, commander of the Palestine Corps in the Quds Force, was killed earlier that day during an Israeli strike in the city of Qom. STATE DEPARTMENT: Some time ago, the State Department warned Americans to stay out of Israel. Those Americans who were trapped there when hostilities began with Iran are being helped to evacuate. Birthright Israel, an educational organization, has evacuated 1,500 Americans aboard the Crown Iris, a luxury Israeli cruise ship sailing from Ashdod Port to Larnaca, Cyprus. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has helped evacuate hundreds of Americans with charter flights to Tampa, Florida.

Following the Iran strikes, the State Department expanded the travel advisory to the entire Middle East, because “there is potential for demonstrations against U.S. citizens and interests abroad.“

SCOTUS: The Supremes voted 7–2 to allow fuel producers to sue California over its tough vehicle emissions standards which Trump has said was the state’s “attempt to impose a nationwide electric vehicle mandate and to regulate national fuel economy by regulating carbon emissions.”

TEXAS: Gov. Abbott has signed a bill into law requiring all public school classrooms in Texas to display the biblical Ten Commandments. The law, which goes into effect on Sept. 1, requires classrooms to display a poster or framed English translation of the commandments that is at least 16-by-20 inches and is able to be read from anywhere in the classroom. Supporters of the Texas legislation say the Ten Commandments are a key part of the foundation of the United States’ judicial and educational systems and should be displayed.

While Fetterman was cheering the attack, Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont called it “alarming” and “grossly unconstitutional.” Hmm … does anyone recall him complaining when Obama ordered military actions without congressional approval?

The Constitution divides war powers between Congress and the White House, giving lawmakers the sole power to declare war, while the president acts as the commander in chief directing the military. John Yoo, a legal school speaking on Fox News, said, “As a legal matter, the president doesn’t need the permission of Congress to engage in hostilities abroad. But as a political matter, it’s very important for the president to go to Congress and present the united front to our enemies.” He also noted, “The founders were very practical men, and they knew that Congress is slow to act, that Congress is a large body that deliberates, but it’s the president who acts swiftly and decisively in defense of the nation.“

Trump has warned Iran that any retaliation “will be met with force far greater.” Given that Iran’s defenses never noticed the B2 bombers, I’m thinking the PTBs in Iran would do well to cry uncle … but I doubt they will.
