FOOT SOAKS: Epsom salt soaks can relieve pain and foot cramps, help you relax, and cure your cracked heels and fungus infection. Dr. Kim (YouTube’s “Holistic Foot Doctor”) recommends Epsom salt foot soaks with the following conditions – Use about 1/2 cup Epsom salts in foot basin with feet with enough water to come up to ankles. Water temperature should be lukewarm, not hot. Soak for about 15-20 minutes only and only use Epsom Salts 1 to 2 days per week unless you have an injury or infection. Optionals he recommends include essential oils and/or a massage machine. He says Harvard canceled two professors – Tyler VanderWeele and Carole Hooven – for holding views deemed too controversial for the Harvard community. Gay’s response touts Harvard’s deep commitment to freedom of speech which, according to her, extends to faculty. Translation: “We’re totally open to all opinions with which we, the Leftist Progressive Elites, already agree.”

MASKING KIDS: A study entitledChild mask mandates for COVID-19: a systematic review” has been published in Archives of Disease in Childhood, one of the journals of the British Medical Journal.

Since no randomized controlled trials have even been conducted on child mask-wearing or mask mandates, the authors systematically reviewed observational studies and included 22 in their final analysis. They also assessed the quality of each study with particular attention to risk of bias (ROB). N.b., none of the studies had low overall ROB (farthest right column above).

Six of the studies found that child mask wearing reduced infection or transmission. Of these, five had critical and one had serious overall ROB. Sixteen studies showed mask wearing had no impact on infection or transmission. Of these, one had critical, 10 had serious, and five had moderate overall ROB. The table above demonstrates the disparity in the quality of the studies. Basically, there’s just a lot more green (low ROB for individual study characteristics) in the “Masking kids doesn’t work” section.

GET WOKE. GO BROKE: On Dec. 5, 2023, several Ivy League college presidents participated in a House Education and Workforce Committee hearing regarding anti-Semitism on college and university campuses amid the war between the Jewish state of Israel and the terrorist group Hamas.

House GOP Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y. – photo) asked if students calling for the genocide of Jews would be considered harassment or bullying under the schools’ codes of conduct.

The presidents of the University of Pennsylvania and Massachusetts Institute of Technology both said calls for genocide would only be investigated as possible harassment if they were “directed, and severe, pervasive.” The president of Harvard said they would have to cross into “conduct” before they would be actionable.

During the past week, wealthy donors to these universities have announced they are withdrawing support. The losses are adding up to tens of millions of dollars. On Saturday, Liz Magill resigned as president of U Penn.

SICKLE CELL: The FDA has approved the first ever gene therapy treatment. The treatment requires doctors to remove cells from a patient’s bone marrow, edit the gene for sickle cell, and then reproduce and infuse billions of the modified cells back into patients. While not a cure for the disease, it is hoped the one-time treatment will alleviate symptoms for a lifetime. But don’t cheer too fast. Currently, the treatment costs several million dollars per patient.

TEXAS: The Texas Supreme Court has temporarily halted a district court’s order that granted a pregnant woman the right to an abortion despite the state’s strict abortion ban. The court did not rule on the merits of the case, but said it would consider the matter further and issue a more comprehensive ruling at a later time. The 20 week fetus has been diagnosed with Trisomy 18, a condition that causes multiple structural abnormalities. Doctors say it has no chance of survival after birth, which is not strictly true.

Trisomy 18, also known as Edwards syndrome, is the second most common trisomy behind trisomy 21 (Down syndrome). It occurs in 1 in 5,000 live births and it is caused by the presence of an extra chromosome. Half of all babies born with Edwards syndrome die within the first week, and only 5% to 10% live beyond the first year of life. Those that survive require special care.

Former Senator Rick and Karen Santorum’s daughter, Bella, was born with Trisomy 18. The photo above was posted recently on Karen’s Facebook page. I believe Bella is now 15 years old.

VAXXX: A study entitled “Blaming the unvaccinated during the COVID-19 pandemic: the roles of political ideology and risk perceptions in the USA” was published in BMJ’s Journal of Medical Ethics in June 2023. In it, researchers examined the risks and benefits associated with the COVID-19 vaccines and compared them with public perceptions.

They found that excessive fearmongering by both government and media led to both risks and benefits being grossly misunderstood by the majority of Americans. They designated the widespread blaming of the unvaccinated “scapegoating” rather than “a justified response to a social threat” because it was “driven by fear or based on unfounded or inaccurate facts.”

For example, 35% of US adults believed that at least half of COVID-19 infections require hospitalization; at its peak, it was reckoned to be less than 5%, but was probably lower since a lot of people had such mild cases that they didn’t show up in the statistics. The risk is now much lower, since the most deadly Wuhan strain is extinct and the current variants are much milder.

Researchers also found a huge political divide with regard to accurate risk vs. benefit knowledge and willingness to blame the unvaccinated for extending the pandemic and “killing” people. Those who voted for Biden were twice as likely to scapegoat those who chose to refuse the ‘rona jab as those who voted for Trump. This was true regardless of whether the refuser had recovered from COVID or had never had it at all.

This study did not look into the consequences of scapegoating on the unvaccinated, but noted that “scapegoating can subject people to ostracism, discrimination and, in extreme cases, even violence and persecution.”

CANON: The process of determining which writings were and which were not part of Holy Scripture for the Christian church culminated in 382 at the Council of Rome when the leaders of the Catholic-Christian Church promulgated the 73 books as canonical. This list was reaffirmed by the regional councils of Hippo (393) and Carthage (397).

From the end of the fourth century until the middle of the sixteenth century, the 73 books that are now called the “Catholic” Bible were THE Bible. Then, along came Martin Luther, who chucked out seven of them, because he believed that he alone knew better than all the church leaders who had come before him.

Ever since then, Protestants have claimed the “real” Bible only has the 66 books that Luther decided on, while Catholics continue to use the 73 book canon. Personally, I find these two numbers very intriguing, since six is the symbol for humanity, while seven and three are symbols for spiritual perfection.

CINO: Dr. Anthony Fauci was asked recently why he doesn’t practice his Catholic faith. He replied, “My own personal ethics on life are I think enough to keep me going on the right path. I identify myself as a Catholic. I was raised, I was baptized, I was confirmed, I was married in the Church. My children were baptized in the Church. But as far as practicing it, it seems almost like a pro forma thing that I don’t really need to do.”

At Confirmation, the confirmand solemnly promises to obey the laws and precepts of the Roman Catholic Church. At Baptism, the parents and godparents promise to raise the child to obey the laws and precepts of the Roman Catholic Church. These include resting from servile labor and attending Mass on Sundays and holy days of obligation, going to Confession and receiving Holy Eucharist at least once a year, observing the days of fasting and abstinence, and providing for the material needs of the Church according to one’s ability.

These are not pro forma obligations; they are the bare minimum the RCC considers necessary to maintain and nurture one’s relationship with God. To ignore them is not just an egregious violation of one’s vows, but also absurd. It would be like a man telling his wife and children that it would be a meaningless waste of his time to hang out with them.

HUNTER BIDEN: A California grand jury has returned a nine-count indictment against Hunter Biden, President Joe Biden’s son, charging him with three felony tax offenses and six misdemeanor tax offenses. Special counsel David Weiss says that, instead of paying his taxes, Mr. Biden “spent this money on drugs, escorts and girlfriends, luxury hotels and rental properties, exotic cars, clothing, and other items of a personal nature, in short, everything but his taxes.

PERSECUTION: CLICK https://twitter.com/libsoftiktok/status/1732488002813690282?s=20 [:48] to hear a trannie talk about how he literally sobbed over a customer service rep calling him “sir” during a phone call. CLICK https://robhoskins.onehope.net/persecution-on-the-rise/ to read about how, each month, 722 forms of violence (e.g., beatings, abductions, rapes, arrest, forced marriage) are committed against Christians, 322 Christians are killed for their faith, and 214 Christian churches and properties are are destroyed. But yeah. Go ahead and cry, privileged trannie who has nothing worse to complain of than that somebody got your gender right.

S&G: CLICK https://twitter.com/libsoftiktok/status/1732560446463652041?s=20 [11:45] to see a Rebel News story out of Ontario, Canada. Nicholas Cepeda (50), who ‘transitioned’ several years after puberty, entered himself into the teen girls’ division of a swimming competition and forced himself into their locker room to shower and change. The woke-ists running the competition were too busy catering to this pervert’s pathology to care about the safety or privacy of the girls or that the World Aquatics has ruled that male swimmers like Cepeda may not compete against females. They also didn’t care about any stupid rules protecting journalists; they called the cops on Rebel News.

TRUMP: Eli Bartov, professor of accounting at NYU’s Stern School of Business and an award-winning researcher, has published several papers on financial reporting misconduct, the issue at the heart of the case against President Trump. This week, Bartov testified in Trump’s defense saying he could find no evidence whatsoever of any accounting fraud. When the judge asked him if he mean that the attorney general’s “complaint had no merit,” Bartov replied, “This is absolutely my opinion.” Next week, 45 will take the stand himself.

2024: More than two dozen cases trying to keep Trump off the primary ballots have been filed across the county. So far, none have succeeded. The latest to be dismissed was in Arizona.

DETRANS: CLICK https://twitter.com/libsoftiktok/status/1732084690448707675?s=20 [1:22] to hear the traumatic Nikita Teran talk about how she was 100% sure she was trans when she had a double mastectomy. She breaks down as she discusses the surgery and complications. She says she was just a tomboy. She’s now detransitioning and warning others of this dangerous contagion. The video continues in a video embedded at the Fox News link below.

HEART: In the Bible, “heart” denotes a person’s center for both physical and emotional-intellectual-moral activities. In our Biblically illiterate society, Satan has been able to easily twist it to mean “feelings.”

LADY BALLERS: Above is a screenshot from the movie. I really hope this comes out on DVD soon!

LOUISIANA: A judge in Louisiana has nullified an election and ordered a new one to be performed. When the votes were counted, the winner led by a single vote, but at at least 11 of those votes were illegal. The judge said it was legally impossible to know who actually won.

PRIVILEGE:Nepo-baby” is a derogative term applied to successful actors who got their start courtesy of their Hollywood parents. Sean Astin, Kate Hudson, and Jamie Lee Curtis all point out that, regardless of how you got your foot in the door, it takes a lot of hard work and talent to actually make it in Hollywood. This reminds me of the line in “A League of Their Own” when Geena Davis’ character tells her bitter sister, “I got you on the BUS. You got yourself on the team.”

S&G: During a field trip to D.C., 1,500 miles from home, a pro-“trans” Colorado school assigned an 11-year-old girl to sleep in the same bed as a boy who said he was a girl. The school did not notify the girl or her parents prior to the trip. The parents say their daughter was “terrified and really upset” and called her mother on the phone when she realized her situation. It took the girl and her parents multiple requests to get her moved to another room.

But even then, chaperones told the girl to lie about the reason for her move. All they cared about was respecting the feelings of the trannie boy. FOX News reported that the school district has “a methodical system in place to keep parents in the dark on their child’s gender transition in schools.” Prior to the trip, parents were told over and over that chaperones would keep the girls on one floor and the boys on another, with no visiting.

No mention was made of the trannie boy’s existence. And at no time did the school care about either the safety, well-being, and religious convictions of the girl or the rights of her parents to make such an important decision as to when she can sleep in the same bed with a biologically intact male. The parents are suing.

GRAMMY NOTES: “[W]orking to ensure her home is a place of peace and refuge” … as a disabled mom who needed a lot of help with the mundane physical tasks, I considered this my #1 contribution. It is also a big part of why I hated the term “housewife” and still much prefer “homemaker.” I was married to my husband, not to my house. Plus, I was a homemaker before we owned a house and could do my job of ensuring peace wherever we lived and wherever we were, not just when we were at home.

Protecting Our First Amendment Rights

On January 26, 2021 – six days after Joe Biden was inaugurated – eight FBI and other law enforcement agents showed up at Douglass Mackey’s home and arrested him. He was charged with felony election interference, a crime that could have put him in prison for up to ten years.

But the alleged election interference had not involved the recent Biden vs. Trump election, but rather the Clinton vs. Trump election more than four years earlier. In fact, the memes (sample above) that Mackey was being charged over had appeared on the internet nearly five years before the arrest.

Despite living in Florida, Mackey was prosecuted and convicted in the Eastern District of New York before two liberal judges. In October, he was fined $15,000 and sentenced to seven months in federal prison to be followed by two years probation.

This politically-motivated persecution of an American citizen abused 18 USC 241, known as the Ku Klux Klan Act, a law which was passed in the aftermath of the Civil War to stop violent deprivations of civil rights. The law was used to prosecute some of the most infamous crimes that were part of the backlash to the 1960s civil rights movement. The Biden Justice Department is now using it to punish people – including Donald J. Trump and various pro-life activists – for disagreeing with Democrats.

Mackey just won an important victory in his appeal, which put a stay on the scheduled start of his prison sentence in January. Connecticut-based federal District Court Judge Omar A. Williams also ordered that the appeal, which he said presents “substantial” and “debatable” issues of law, be expedited.

If Mackey ultimately loses the appeal in the Second Circuit, he intends to take his case to the U.S. Supreme Court. This case is being used by the corruptocrats as a trial balloon. It is vital that Mackey win. You can donate to his defense fund @ https://www.memedefensefund.com/.

CATHOLICS: CLICK https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N9LJ-S0Rens [5:22] to hear Matt Fradd (Pints with Aquinas) talk about why Sedevacantism has to be false. He also discusses what schism is and how we can obey our call to submit to the pope when we don’t agree with what he is doing and saying.

JACK CHICK: The Catholic Church founded Islam, Nazism, Mormonism, and Communism?! Who knew?! Jack Chick, utterly uneducated fundamentalist cartoonist, that’s who. Sadly, his sick, hate-filled Chick Tracts are still in print.

Among other things, these foul publications purport to “prove” that the Sacraments are ineffective, that the Pope is an antichrist, that Jesuits run around the world fomenting wars, that the Vatican is bent on world domination, that the Holy Eucharist is based on Egyptian worship of Osiris, that Mary is the Masonic Isis, and that Jesus hates the Catholic Church, which He calls the “Mother of Abomination.

I first encounter Chick Tracts in college when a neighbor approached me with one that his mother had given him. He was in love with a Catholic girl; his anti-Catholic mother was appalled and wanted to save him from falling into popery and damnation. The tract said things that, if true, would have meant that no Christian could ever be Catholic. Thankfully, the arguments were ones I had no trouble rebutting on the spot.

MEDIA: The undeclared PR arm of the Democratic Party wants American voters to be afraid! Fear COVID! Fear CLIMATE CHANGE! Fear TRUMP! This week, the Washington Post, New York Times, and the Atlantic were all running hot and heavy on the theme of TRUMP WILL BE A DICTATOR!!!

A Trump dictatorship is increasingly inevitable. We should stop pretending.” “The Fear of a Looming Trump Dictatorship.” “A Second Trump Presidency May be More Radical Than His First.” “He could want a third term!” “Grave and extreme consequences.” “Trump and Trumpism pose an existential threat to America and to the ideas that animate it.” “The Danger Ahead.” “If he wins the election, Trump will commit the first crime of his second term at noon on Inauguration Day: His oath to defend the Constitution of the United States will be a perjury.”

MORNING PRAYER: CLICK https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eDdBWiZyHzk [17:50] to pray along with the Catholic Minute. I am finding this a very fruitful way to start my days.

PHILIPPINES: The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for Sunday’s bombing during a Catholic Mass in Marawi that injured at least 54 and killed four.

TRUMP: New York’s Trump-hating Attorney General Letitia James is busy ignoring actual crimes in order to satisfy her campaign promise to take Trump down. Her case is the first ever brought in New York in which a borrower is being sued for fraud when no one is claiming actual harm. The state is seeking a $250 million fine against Trump, and wants him to be forced to give up control of his businesses.

A Deutsche Bank AG executive told a court in New York on Tuesday that it is not unusual for loan clients to overstate their net worth, and that the bank does its own due diligence in determining eligibility for loans. Another executive testified that the bank had benefited from its business relationship with Trump and had wanted to continue that relationship.

COAL: FAUXTUS’ climate czar, John Kerry, announced “we” have “proudly” committed to not build any new coal-fired power plants and to get rid of existing ones entirely. While no specific date was given for when the Biden administration plans to nix existing U.S. coal plants, other regulatory actions by the administration zero in on 2035 as the year when coal ends. Just below 20 percent of U.S. electricity was powered by coal as of October.

FBI: The weaponization of our justice system continues. On his way home from the premiere of the Daily Wire’s new “transphobic” comedy, “Lady Ballers,” Siaka Massaquoi was accosted by FBI agents who arrested and charged with four misdemeanors for his actions way back on January 6, 2021. Siaka, who has a part in “Lady Ballers”, will be familiar to PoliNationers as the husband in the Babylon Bee video series about a California couple who moves to Texas.

On June 10, 2021, Siaka’s apartment was raided by over 20 FBI agents armed with assault rifles. He has allegedly been under investigation ever since for “associating with members of a social media group.” Besides these heinous crimes, he is reported also vice-chair of the Republican Party of Los Angeles. 2A: Last year, Oregon voters passed ballot measure 114, which would have required Oregon citizens to acquire a permit before purchasing a gun and restricted magazines to 10 rounds or fewer. A Circuit Court judge just ruled that these measures violate both the state’s and the nation’s constitutions.

BIDENOMICS: A recent CNBC survey found that 61% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck. The White House said the U.S. economy is the strongest it has ever been. Voters don’t agree. An October poll by Quinnipiac found only 37% approve of Biden’s economic performance.

An October poll by AP-NORC found about 8 in 10 Americans saying their overall household debt is higher or about the same as it was a year ago, while only 15% said their household savings had increased over the past year.

CANADA: CLICK https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cvAApI8-DKU [2:57] to hear Fr. Mark talk about the new report from Statistics Canada. Below are some highlights from the data:

In 2019, prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, the age-standardized mortality rate in Canada was 830.5 deaths per 100,000 population. In 2021, this jumped to 907.2 deaths. In 2022, it jumped again to 972.5 deaths.

Despite the alleged effectiveness of the ‘rona jabs, the number of COVID-19 deaths increased from 14,466 in 2021 to 19,716 in 2022. The report blamed this on “exposure to new highly transmissible COVID-19 variants and the gradual return to normalcy (e.g., reduced restrictions and masking requirements).

However, these new variants are far, far less lethal than the original and early variants that circulated in 2020. Also, numerous studies have shown that lockdowns, masks, and other restrictions had little effect on transmission or death rates. In fact, some studies showed that the people who were most likely to get very sick from COVID were the home-bound and the masked.

FOOD INSECURITY: CLICK https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=es614SrcbhI [6:09] to hear a reality check about welfare and hunger in the United States. The comments about poor people and healthy eating strike a chord with me. After Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait, the bottom fell out of the building industry. Predictably, since architects are at the front end of the process, our family was hit early and hard. I am very grateful for the emergency help we received courtesy of taxpayers and charitable friends, relatives, and total strangers. All five of us had widespread food allergies, so I was always looking for whatever nutritional advice I could find. The WIC people offered free consultations with a certified nutritionist who told me, “It’s so nice to finally work with someone who wants my help. Hardly any of the women who get these WIC checks care about their own families eating healthy. They swagger in here in their designer boots and are like, ‘shut up and give me the money.‘”

JUSSIE SMOLLETT: An Illinois appellate court upheld Smollett’s conviction for lying to the cops and ordered him to complete his 150-day jail sentence. So far, he’s only spent six days behind bars. The study analyzed infection and hospitalization data for Delta and Omicron from 246,113 individuals matched for demographic and clinical characteristics and sorted into categories for no immunity, natural immunity (infected/recovered), vaccine only, and vaccine plus natural. One big finding was that natural immunity conferred substantial protection against hospitalization for both the Delta and Omicron variants.

SANDRA DAY O’CONNOR: The first woman to serve on the Supreme Court, Sandra Day O’Connor, has passed away at the age of 93 from complications related to dementia.

ABORTION: This is not satire. “The Samuel Alito’s Mom’s Satanic Abortion Clinic” exists. It provides “free religious telehealth medication abortion care, courtesy of The Satanic Temple.” Cosmopolitan magazine is promoting the Satanic abortion clinic and the Satanic Abortion Ritual. The ritual invokes the following tenets of Satanism: That one’s body is inviolable, subject to one’s own will alone and that beliefs should conform to one’s best scientific understanding of the world. Its Personal Affirmation (i.e., prayer) is “By my body, my blood. By my will, it is done.”

BIDENOMICS: According to a new report, the typical American household needs roughly an additional $11,400 just to maintain the lifestyle they enjoyed under Trump.

CANADA: Carolyn Burjoski has won the chance to continue with her defamation case against the Waterloo Regional District School Board (WRDSB). Last year, after she spoke out at a school board meeting against pro-LGBT books being available to young students at school libraries, she was silenced and publicly accosted. The judge said in his decision to allow the case to continue, “The Human Rights Code does not prohibit public discussion of issues related to transgenderism or minors and transgenderism. It does not prohibit public discussion of anything.” In addition to allowing the case to proceed, the judge ordered the school board to pay $30,000 of Burjoski’s legal fees.

CATHOLIC: On Monday, Bishop Strickland issued an open letter to the faithful regarding his removal as Bishop of the Diocese of Tyler, Texas. Things that stand out for me are that, despite multiple requests, he has yet to be given a copy of the reasons why he was fired. He says that, when the reasons were verbally spoken to him, none of them included the administrative problems or mismanagement of the diocese that have been claimed. Instead, they were all about him defending the traditional doctrines of the Roman Catholic Church which the current pope and his Synod on Synodality threaten. In particular, he refused to cancel Latin Masses in his dioceses, as the pontiff demanded, because that “would have required me to leave part of my flock unfed and untended.  As a shepherd and protector of my Diocese, I could not take actions which I knew with certainty would injure part of my flock and deprive them of the spiritual goods which Christ entrusted to His Church.  I stand by my actions as they were necessary to protect my flock and to defend the Sacred Deposit of Faith.”

GUARDIAN ANGELS: CLICK https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aVhQ1DaAuOU [6:04] to hear Father Mike talk about Catholic doctrine. Father Ripperger says that guardian angels are not merely assigned to us at our conception, but were actually created, each one, specifically to be the personal guardian angel of one specific person.

ITALY: On Saturday, November 25, the Rome headquarters of the pro-life and pro-family group Pro Vita e Famiglia was attacked by protesters who sprayed graffiti, smashed windows, lit fires, and even planted a homemade bomb inside the building. Thank God, the bomb did not explode. Ironically, the violent assault was part of a march to protest violence against women. CLICK https://twitter.com/jacopocoghe/status/1728475059033952558 [1:51] to see a portion of the near riot. Italy’s President Meloni wrote, “I don’t know how anyone thinks of fighting violence against women by making themselves the protagonists of intolerable acts of violence and intimidation such as those that occurred on Saturday against the Pro Life and Family Association.”

RIP: Henry Kissinger has died at age 100.

VAXXX: A paper entitled “Adverse Events Following Immunization With mRNA and Viral Vector Vaccines in Individuals With Previous Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 Infection From the Canadian National Vaccine Safety Network” was published in Clinical Infectious Diseases on March 15, 2023. In it, Canadian researchers reported on the large, prospective observational study they did to assess the short-term safety of COVID-19 vaccines in adults with a previous history of SARS-CoV-2 infection.

Among the 684,998 participants, 18,127 individuals (2.6 percent) reported previous laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 infection two to six months before receiving their first vaccine dose. According to the study, these people were more likely to experience an adverse event the week following vaccination—regardless of the vaccine type—that interfered with daily activities, school, and work or required emergency department visits or hospitalization. The greatest risk was associated with the first dose, with weaker risk for second and third doses.
