BOSTON: A 37-year-old Attleboro man has been arrested and charged with malicious destruction of property after damaging a crucifix outside the Cathedral of the Holy Cross. CANADA: Two Calgary men are facing charges for violating a city bylaw which prohibits public transit users from engaging in activity that would “interfere with the comfort, convenience, or quiet use and enjoyment of the transit system of any reasonable person.” The men were riding a mostly empty train on their way to participate in the September 20 Million Person March to defend children from LGBT propaganda in schools. Their private conversation was overhead by another passenger who called the cops on them. They were detained upon exiting, ticketed and ordered to appear in court in late November 2023. Earlier this year, Calgary outlawed “discriminatory protests near public facilities” such as those outside of public libraries hosting drag queen story hours.

CATHOLIC: On October 21, 2023, more than 1,000 men and boys took part in the ninth annual Eucharistic procession hosted by the St. Antoninus Holy Name Men’s Society in Cincinnati. The day’s events began at 8 a.m. with Holy Mass celebrated in the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Peter in Chains by Archbishop Dennis Schnurr, an outspoken pro-life advocate, along with five priests. After the Mass, the participants took part in a two-mile Eucharistic procession through downtown Cincinnati, ending at Old St. Mary’s Church in Over-the-Rhine for an 11 a.m. Benediction.

CLIMATE: In September 2023, a paper entitled “To what extent are temperature levels changing due to greenhouse gas emissions?” was published in Statistics Norway. It is 123 pages, BUT only 26 of these are text. The rest is all graphs. Below are two blurbs from the introduction and summary.

PFIZER: The silencing of ‘rona jab skeptics has been especially aggressive in Italy where one doctor was actually suspended for two months just for suggesting that the sudden rise in excess deaths needed to be investigated. In Italy, Facebook posts mentioning Pfizer are “fact checked” by Open.Online. Giampiero Falasca writes many of them. Open shares an office in Milan with DLA Piper, an international law firm that represents Pfizer. Giampiero Falasca is a partner in DLA Piper.

POPE FRANCIS: Pope Francis is set to attend COP28, the United Nation’s annual climate change conference which will be in Dubai this year. The pontiff has called for the conference to promote ‘binding forms of energy transition’ that are ‘obligatory and readily monitored.’

AMERICA’S TOP YOUNG SCIENTIST: Heman Bekele (14) is a ninth grader from Annandale, Virginia. He won the prestigious 3M and Discovery Education award in the middle school science competitions for his soap that treats skin cancer. The bar of soap costs about $.50 to make.

The second place winner was Shripriya Kalbhavi, a 9th grader from San Jose, CA, who invented a cost-effective microneedle patch that allows for self-automated drug delivery without pills or needles.

The third place winner was Sarah Wang, a 7th grader at The Pike School in Andover, MA. Sarah developed the Spring Epilepsy Detection Glove, a glove that can detect tonic-clonic and myoclonic epileptic seizures with common hand movements and tracks seizure statistics through a smart phone application.

The fourth through tenth place winners were Anisha Dhoot, Ishaan Iyer, Sean Jiang, Annie Katz, Anish Kosaraju, Adhip Maitra, and Shruti Sivaraman. I think I see a theme here….

ABOLISHING GOD: In the UK, a Christian pastor from South Wales has been arrested and may face jail time for holding up a sign with a Bible verse on it outside an abortion clinic in London.

In Canada, the Minister of National Defence has instructed military chaplains not to use “God” during public prayers.

CALIFORNICATION: Ever since Gov. Newsom signed the misnamed Safer Streets for All Act into law, California’s streets have become even worse than ever. Prostitutes, some barely out of their teens, walk around in broad daylight, barely clothed, because the new laws make it nearly impossible for cops to get them off the streets.

COVID-19: A study entitled “Effects of tea, catechins and catechin derivatives on Omicron subvariants of SARS-CoV-2” was published on October 3, 2023, in Scientific Reports. In it, Japanese resarchers at Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine report how they learned that drinking green tea, matcha, and black tea or sucking on candy containing one of these substances can effectively inactivate certain Omicron subvariants in the saliva of infected individuals, including asymptomatic carriers.

The COVID-19 virus primarily spreads through saliva, which is released when talking, sneezing, or coughing, forming droplets and aerosols that disperse into the air. Inactivating the virus in saliva is crucial for preventing COVID-19. It is believed that the polyphenols in tea can bind to the spike protein of the virus, preventing it from infecting cells.

GEORGIA: In the 6-1 decision, the state’s supreme court has upheld the constitutionality of the Living Infants Fairness and Equality (LIFE) Act. This is one of the so-called heartbeat laws that bans abortion once the unborn have a “detectable human heartbeat,” which usually begins around six weeks of gestation. At this point, the fetus’ rudimentary heart is beating around 160 times a minute. Its arms and legs are like tiny paddles that will lengthen and grow into limbs. Its eyes, ears, nostrils, mouth, tongue, and vocal cords are also beginning to develop.

N.b., “gestation” refers to the time since conception, which is generally about 2 weeks longer than “pregnant.” The latter is measured by the time since the first day of the last menstrual period (LMP). In women who have regular cycles, ovulation occurs about 14 days after LMP with conception occurring withing 24 hours or so, after which the egg is no longer viable. Most women have no idea they’re pregnant until they are 2 or more weeks into gestation, allowing only a very narrow window for aborting.

GLAMOUR: The magazine’s all-female honorees included actresses Millie Bobby Brown, America Ferrera, Ariana DeBose, Lily Allen, and Hannah Waddingham; singers Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Halle Bailey, and Olivia Dean; influencer Fats Timbo, reality star Georgia Harrison, and a group of female soccer players.

ILLINOIS: Billionaire, Democrat, and Global Elite Progressive, Governor J.B. Pritzker, announced that he has created a new group named “Think Big America.” It’s purpose is to promote the Democrat abortion agenda across the country. I.e., any and all abortions should be legal for any reason right up until birth and paid for by taxpayers.

LIBS of TIKTOK: I’m sorry about the graphic, but you have to see it to believe it. This conservative social media activist has succeeded in getting five pornographic books removed from the school library shelves of the Northeast Independent School District in San Antonio, Texas. The district serves about 60,000 students.

OREGON: Woke education officials have extended their ban on requiring that students demonstrate basic competency in reading, writing, and math in order to get a high school diploma.

PFIZER LIED, PEOPLE DIED: A paper entitled “Forensic Analysis of the 38 Subject Deaths in the 6-Month Interim Report of the Pfizer/BioNTech BNT162b2 mRNA Vaccine Clinical Trial” was published on October 17, 2023 in the International Journal of Vaccine Theory, Practice, and Research.

This analysis showed that Pfizer altered the COVID-19 “vaccine” data in order to gain Emergency Use Authorization. Specifically, they reported four deaths in the placebo arm of its clinical trial versus only two deaths in the vaccine arm. In reality, the vaccine test subjects experienced a 3.7 times increase in cardiovascular deaths compared to placebo controls.

S&G: I’ve wondered where trannies got the term “cis-gendered” to refer to heterosexuals. Today I was reading about resveratrol at Consumer Lab and saw, “Resveratrol exists in either the cis- or trans- form.” So I googled and learned these are terms used in molecular biology to describe genes that … uhhh yeah, no. They lost me after that. Anyhoops, it occurs to me that this might be where trannies got “cis-” to describe (and demean) those of us who do not have a gender-disordered sexuality.

SPEAKER of the HOUSE: After 22 days of wrangling, the GOP conference has finally banded together to replace the failed speaker and Trump-hating RINO, Kevin McCarthy. The new speaker, attorney Mike Johnson (R-LA), used to work for Alliance Defending Freedom; he has a 100% voting rating on critical pro-life and pro-family issues and has been deeply involved in holding the FBI accountable for investigating Catholics. In 2022, Rep. Johnson introduced the Stop the Sexualization of Children Act, which if enacted would prohibit federally funded institutions like public libraries and schools from promoting gender ideology.

VAXXX: The following was posted to X by Archbishop Viganò: “Three years ago I was among the first – and certainly the first Bishop – to denounce pandemic and vaccination fraud. Expressed with arguments that today emerge as true and well-founded are the critical issues and immorality of an experimental gene treatment, which aborted fetuses were and are used to produce. He does note that October 13, 2023, was the Jubilee (50th anniversary) of the third and final message that Sr. Agnes Sasagawa of Akita, Japan, received from the Blessed Mother. The weeping statue photo was taken in Akita during one of the 101 times that it has been known to weep and/or sweat

The text of the third message from Our Lady of Akita:

“As I told you, if men do not repent and better themselves, the Father will inflict a terrible punishment on all humanity. It will be a punishment greater than the deluge, such as one will never seen before. Fire will fall from the sky and will wipe out a great part of humanity, the good as well as the bad, sparing neither priests nor faithful. The survivors will find themselves so desolate that they will envy the dead. The only arms which will remain for you will be the Rosary and the Sign left by My Son. Each day recite the prayers of the Rosary. With the Rosary, pray for the Pope, the bishops and priests.

“The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a way that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, bishops against bishops. The priests who venerate me will be scorned and opposed by their confreres … churches and altars sacked; the Church will be full of those who accept compromises and the demon will press many priests and consecrated souls to leave the service of the Lord.

N.b., Catholics are not required to believe in Marian apparitions, even those the Church has investigated thoroughly and declared, as with Akita, to be “worthy of belief.”

ARKANSAS: Gov. Sanders has issued an executive order banning “woke nonsense”in state documents. This includes terms like “pregnant people,” “birth giver,” and “laboring person.” “It’s the Left that decided that woman is a dirty word,” Sanders stated. “It’s the Left that decided that we needed to toss out basic biology – and basic grammar along with it.”

CONGRESS: Republicans still haven’t figured out who they want to lead them as Speaker of the House.

FAUXTUS: They say he went to Israel. I don’t care. The Dems were all rah, rah after 9/11, until it suited them to slander and lie about how and why they voted to sends my kids to Iraq. I don’t trust any of them.

MASSATWOS**TS: Hundreds of thousands of illegals swarming into red states is one thing; tens of thousands landing in blue states is entirely another. Gov. Healy has announced that her True Blue State of Compassion for All “can no longer guarantee shelter placement for families who are sent here.”

VAXXX: The gummint has graciously awarded compensation to two people who experienced myocarditis after receiving a ‘rona jab that they assured us was SAFE and EFFECTIVE. One person received $4,183 and the other $4,934. Be still my heart.

EXORCIST DIARY: From Msgr. Rossetti – More than a few people seek healing through witchcraft and occult rituals, often with good intentions. There are “healing witches,” “curanderos,” and “shamans” who promise healing magic. Those who come to us after seeing such occult healers often report an initial feeling of relief after these magic rituals, but then the problems become much worse. Good intentions do not alter the reality that when the true God is not invoked in spiritual practices, dark spirits will often respond.

There is one safe source for healing: Jesus. And if Jesus does not give us the grace we want, He will give us the grace we need. This always includes the strength to endure in faith whatever comes. The Christian learns to trust in God. Unfortunately, this life is often a “vale of tears.” But, whatever comes, we trust that God is in charge and, in Him, all things that come our way will ultimately be for our good.

FAUXTUS: Last month, on the anniversary of the 9/11 attack on the U.S., President Biden agreed to unfreeze $6 billion in Iran funds in exchange for Iran releasing five U.S. citizens being detained by Iran. After Hamas launched a massive terror attack against Israel with backing from Iran, Republicans and Democrats alike demanded Biden refreeze the funds. He said no.

During his Oval Office speech on October 19, Joe Biden slammed Iran for supporting Hamas and Russia. THE JIHADIST’S DRUG: Captagon was first manufactured in 1961, but its highly addictive nature and deadly side effects caused the U.S. and other governments to declare it a controlled substance with no currently accepted medical use. Legal manufacture of the drug ended in the 1980s.

Known as “the poor man’s cocaine”, it is primarily manufactured in Syria and marketed in the Middle East where it has become one of the most serious health and social problems in the Arab world. Choline

An estimated 90% of the U.S. population is deficient in this vital nutrient. Generally, the recommended intake is 425 milligrams (mg) a day for women and 550 mg/day for men, but some people have a genetically-acquired need for more. In addition, women who are pregnant, nursing, or postmenopausal need more, as do endurance athletes and alcoholics.

Choline, also known as Vitamin B4, plays a significant role in human health, from neurotransmitter synthesis to cell structures, and may be involved in the development of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), atherosclerosis, and neurological disorders. It has also been shown to relieve pain without negative side effects.

Unfortunately, it is difficult to get enough just from food and, since the best sources are animal foods, vegetarians and vegans can not get enough unless they take a supplement. Good food sources include grass-fed beef liver, cauliflower, codfish, salmon, kidney beans, quinoa, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, and shiitake mushrooms. The best source is eggs (147 mg each), but even then, you need to eat them frequently.

Consumer Lab recommends the phosphatidyl choline form, as this is better absorbed than other forms. N.b., this is the form primarily present in eggs. Unfortunately, CL’s Top Pick for this form – Puritan’s Pride Ultra Concentrated Lecithin – seems to be sold out even at the Puritan’s Pride web site. Other brands that CL approved cost more, but at least they’re available. These include NOW Sunflower Lecithin (360 mg of phosphatidyl choline in 2 soft gels) and Natural Factors Phosphatidyl Choline (420 mg in 1 soft gel).

I’ve been using Vitacost Choline & Inositol, which contains choline bitartrate. Consumer Lab links to studies showing this form elevates blood levels of TMAO, which is linked to increased risk of heart attack and stroke. Choline bitartrate can also contribute to the formation of kidney stones. Vitacost carries both of the two shown above. Note: Natural Factors contains soy lecithin which Dr. Axe says may cause “negative reactions including nausea, bloating, constipation, rashes on the skin, abdominal pain and other digestive problems.” I’m going to switch to the NOW Sunflower Lecithin and see how it goes.

I found the powder at Amazon and it appears to be the authentic product. It’s said to be tasteless and I like that it’s cheaper per dose and that I can adjust the dose more easily than with a gelcap. I ordered a bottle.

Bowing before bullies just invites more bullying.

HARVARD: On October 8, thirty-four student groups co-signed a letter authored by the Harvard Undergraduate Palestine Solidarity Committee that said Israel was “entirely responsible for all unfolding violence.” Nine of them later recanted. Harvard’s leadership had ::crickets:: to say, which led to a barrage of criticism from alumni, professors, and at least two billionaires becoming ex-donors. Former Harvard president Larry Summers said the students’ letter and lack of response by the administration “sickened” him. In addition, a number of CEOs of U.S. companies have expressed a willingness to blacklist those Harvard students who blamed Israel for the violence perpetrated by Hamas.

RED PILLED: Democrat billionaire venture capitalist Chamath Palhapitiya recently admitted that “Trump Derangement Syndrome” did far more harm than Trump ever did.

Ali got herself a job at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) helping to determine who qualifies for asylum.

This week, Ali has made several social media posts glorifying the terrorist attacks on Israel, including one depicting armed terrorists paragliding into the Jewish state with the caption, “Free PALESTINE.” On Instagram, she posted, “Palestine will be free one day. F*** APARTHEID Israel and any Israeli that supports that bulls***. F*** you, may Allah forgive you. and spare us the crocodile tears, I sure as hell give zero f***s.”
