That’s how long Ted Cruz was on the senate floor until the repulsive lickspittle Reid summarily called the senate for some more “important” stuff.
I sure would enjoy wrapping my chubby fingers around his chicken neck.
Following up on his comments calling Cruz’s speech a “big waste of time,” Reid said that “any day that government is hurt is a good day” for the Tea Party. Reid called it “the new anarchy.”
Reid continued:
“The American people know that every hour he has spoken or he speaks pushes us closer to a Republican government shutdown.” From there, the Senator said that “if anyone has any doubt that there are Republicans rooting for a shutdown, they should just turn on the television.”

It seems that Ted Cruz and Mike Lee are being left to fight the good fight in the senate by themselves. The rest of the pompous gasbags are only worried about getting reelected,not doing what’s right for America. It’s always been that way. The real heroes are the ones who stand when others cower. My apologies for not posting Friday.I found out I have cataracts in both eyes,being nearly blind in my left.I promise as long as I can see I’ll do what I do best.

VP Plughead was in Mexico,inviting all uneducated layabouts and felons to come on up and jump on the welfare wagon.All it takes is a vote for their favorite democrat.He came home with a cheap straw sombrero to cover his Hair Club For Men and probably a case of Montezuma’s Revenge.
Hillary! told body-woman Huma Abedin-Weiner that either she dump that loser or there’ll be no warm showers together in the wee hours of the morning after she’s anointed the heir to the throne.

The bodies were still warm yesterday when the leftards started pointing fingers of blame everywhere, looking for a scapegoat for a deranged man deciding to kill a lot of people. You know a lot of details, thanks to a liberal mindset that prioritizes making excuses for criminal behavior rather than simply accept that unspeakable evil exists in the world.
The predictable cries for gun control resounded from coast to coast, ignoring the fact no gun law would have stopped any of these tragedies. For them,it’s not about safeguarding the people, it’s all about control. Always has been. Yesterday’s shootings dominated the news, but there are a few items I dug up to intersperse among the daily claptrap you sift through here daily.
CNN BUBBLEHEAD CAROL COSTELLO CAN’T REMEMBER ANYTHING LIKE THIS EVER HAPPENING ON A MILITARY POST…. GUESS SHE FORGOT FORT HOOD
CAROL COSTELLO: I used to work in Washington, live in Washington. This seems so unusual to me that a gunman could create this kind of havoc at a U.S. military facility.
BRIAN TODD: Yes.
COSTELLO: Have you ever heard of it happening before, Brian?
TODD: I’m sorry, Carol. I missed that question. Could you repeat it please?
COSTELLO: I was just saying that this is so unusual, because this is such a heavily-secured military facility. I’ve worked in Washington for many years, I’ve never heard of such a thing happening.
TODD: Well, we haven’t either in this area, Carol. This is the first time we’ve seen something like this, at least in many, many years. Now you remember the Fort Hood shooting in 2009, where that was a member of the service who was convicted eventually of doing that shooting.
This is Roy Hawthorne. He was a Navajo Code Talker in WWII. Communicating with others of his tribe assigned to different Marine units was the only code that was never broken during the entire war. He is helped by two Navjo Marines at the end of a two mile parade. His was a time when violent men with guns preserved our freedom with the kind of support from our country that will never be again. Ever.

Update:it was a beautiful late summer Saturday afternoon.The fifth graders from Winnebago Middle School took to the gridiron to face the powerhouse team from Stillman Valley.Thier best player was a half-head taller than anybody else on the team and had long blonde hair.I told DD I was surprised they let boys grow their hair that long in these small towns.She said it wasn’t a boy.It was a girl and she was fierce.The ‘Bago boys fought valiantly but fell 0-36 to drop their record to 0-4.Dad and stepdad tried to cheer grandson up by telling him they won or lost as a team and the blocks and tackles he missed were not the cause of them losing.Then granddad imparted some wisdom on him.

Yeah.
You wanna come back and play again next week?
Yeah.
That’s what matters.This is fun.If it was work,they’d call it work.They don’t.Its fun.When you’re old enough to work you can worry about making mistakes.Right now you’re supposed to have fun.Mom and dad will take care of the work stuff.
That seemed to be enough to get him out of his funk for awhile,anyway.Growing up is hard enough. There’s no sense putting pressure on the kids
