Police Driver Acquitted In Freddie Gray Case

A judge has found a Baltimore Police van driver not guilty of all charges in the death of 25-year-old Freddie Gray, whose broken neck in police custody set off Baltimore’s worst riots in decades.

Six officers were charged in Gray’s death, but only Officer Caesar Goodson was accused of murder. Gray was fatally injured after officers bound his hands and feet and Goodson left him unprotected by a seat belt that prosecutors say would have kept him from slamming into the van’s metal walls.

A Baltimore judge is poised to deliver his verdict in the murder trial of an officer who drove the police van where a black arrestee’s neck was broken, triggering some of the worst riots the city has ever seen.

Caesar Goodson was charged with murder, manslaughter, assault, reckless endangerment and misconduct in office.

Twenty-five-year-old Freddie Gray died a week after suffering a spinal injury in Goodson’s wagon, where officers left him handcuffed and shackled but unrestrained by a seat belt. His death set off protests and violence, and prompted State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby to bring charges against six officers.

The sweeping case ended the career of the police commissioner and aborted the political future of the mayor. Some say Mosby’s reputation also hinges on its outcome.

Two Muslim immigrant boys were arrested last week for the brutal sexual assault of a five year-old girl at an Idaho apartment complex.

Members of the Twin Falls, Idaho City Council smugly likened refugee resettlement critics to “white supremacists” following the attack.

The boys from Sudan were released into the custody of their parents on Thursday.
The two Sudanese boys, ages 10 and 14, were reportedly ordered by the court to have no contact with the victim, a 5-year-old special-needs girl, whom they allegedly assaulted in the laundry room of their apartment complex on June 2. They were not arrested until late last week. A third boy, age 7, was also involved but was never arrested. The younger boys allegedly urinated on the girl and one of them inappropriately touched her but the extent of that violation is not known. The case has been sealed by the prosecutor, which is standard procedure in juvenile offenses.

The older boy, 14, allegedly filmed the entire incident.
The two older boys are from Sudan and the 7-year-old is from Iraq.

At first glance the two weapons look similar.

The letters “AR” do not stand for assault rifle, but rather “Armalite Rifle,” the firm that developed the weapon.

Progressives latched onto the “AR” designation to call it an assault rifle and make it sound all the more scary.

The president went on to say that Mateen also had “a handgun, a Glock, which had a lot of clips in it.”

First of all, Glocks don’t use clips — they use magazines. Secondly, you can only put one magazine in the well at a time.

There have been volumes already written about the slaughter of 50 innocents at the gay night club in Orlando. It seems useless to attribute this murder spree to anything but a radical, homosexual-hating Muslim pig. Can anybody recall mass murders like this while George W Bush was president after 9/11? The truth nobody on the left will admit is that as soon as Obama was immaculated he announced that, true to his gutless, cowardly liberal philosophy he was pulling US troops out of Iraq after years of blood and sacrifice to bring stability to the region. The ISIS maggots correctly read this weakness and set about taking over territory that Iraqi troops were ill-trained or too afraid to defend. With a brother Muslim protecting them from the seat of power in America the jihadists have expanded their disease in pursuit of a worldwide caliphate.

We’ve seen this scenario many times…. as night follows day, so do the wails for gun control from leftists follow a mass shooting. Never mind that the shooter had a carry permit, and passed two background checks. The cries went out, even as they were carrying bodies out of the nightclub, from everyone from the Muslim-in-chief to a host on the sportstalk radio I listen to in the morning. It’s all the NRA’s fault for wanting people to own guns. No guns, no crime, right? Too bad criminals ignore the law just like their homeboy ignores court orders.

‘This was an act of terror,’ she said. ‘This was also an act of hate. The gunman attacked an LGBT nightclub during Pride Month.’

She said that ‘hate has absolutely no place in America’ and reiterated her support for stricter gun control measures but did not mention Islamism in any form.

The Left Is Aggressively ‘Breaking Down The Resistance’ To Transform America

Americans are experiencing increased intolerance and chaos throughout our politics, culture, colleges, corporate boardrooms and even mainline churches, because the progressive left thinks it is successfully transforming the country, according to one author.

These elites consider it “a mopping-up operation and they’re going in for the kill,” Dr. Kim Holmes says in this 23-minute video interview.

Holmes is a distinguished fellow at The Heritage Foundation, and the author of a new book, “The Closing of the Liberal Mind.” A new air of intolerance has been pulsing through radical leaders throughout the U.S., the United Nations and the European Union, according to this America-loving scholar, diplomat and author.

Elites use international treaties and conventions to circumvent the will of the electorate, Holmes explains. They use a sympathetic president, popular culture, entertainment, colleges, and murky tactics to “break down the resistance to their agenda” to transform America.

To Holmes, the transgender issue uses a small number of “victims” to demonstrate who can make laws. By expanding an administrative interpretation of “civil rights,” without Congress, the federal state solidifies its capacity to dictate American law – even if it’s public school bathroom policies. Most Republicans fail to step up and fight, he says, because they fear a popular culture that is against them and are exceedingly shallow.

President Barack Obama’s legacy, to this scholar, will be how he polarized the nation, devastated the middle class, and made more Americans feel disenfranchised. Holmes thinks that the more chaos, the better for Obama’s strategic objective to transform America.

Obama’s foreign policy has “put American lives more in danger” and caused the rise of ISIS, making us less respected in the world, he explains.

Noting the growing intolerance on American campuses, Holmes says education is more like a re-programming now, and colleges are turning out “intellectual drones.”

The criminalization of dissent on climate change is “truly Orwellian” and “borderline totalitarian,” he says. “Once you break that barrier and tell scientists they will be punished, this is like the Inquisition in the 16 century or the Red Guard in the Cultural Revolution in China.”

Holmes credits Donald Trump for tapping into the unrest caused by elites in America. But he worries that many supporting the “make America great again” slogan seem inclined to “hire a guard dog” by supporting Trump to protect them. The problem, Holmes says, is that “guard dogs can jump and go to the other side,” noting this is a discussion that has “nothing to do with the ideas of conservativism.”

The Most Gifted Orator of Our Time

The Supreme Reader has been described that way more than a few times. Anybody who took the trouble to find out about this halfrican after he burst on the scene at the 2004 DNC convention probably figured out that he only sounds authoritative when he can read what somebody else wrote for him. We’ve all heard about his Columbia and Harvard days. I suspect most of his time was spent getting high, organizing protests, and having a good time. There’s a reason he had all his records sealed by court order before he started his ascent in socialist circles. He is embarrassingly slow-witted and stutters incessantly when he has to think on his feet. He tried attacking Trump yesterday and the results were as amusing as they were pathetic. It even made the banner on Drudge. Don’t think for a minute if he had to run for office again they wouldn’t cover for him.
