Less than three months ago, according to a Public Religion Research Institute poll, Clinton was enjoying a 27-point advantage over Trump, with 61 percent of Catholics favoring Clinton to only 34 percent favoring the Republican nominee.
Now polls show a stunning reversal: The latest IBD/TIPP tracking poll shows Clinton lagging behind Trump by double digits, a full 11 points behind now, with only 37 percent of the Catholic vote, while 48 percent have turned towards Trump.
