According to Democrats, women DO have the RIGHT to CHOOSE to have an abortion for whatever reason they want,but do NOT have the RIGHT to CHOOSE how to best defend themselves from sexual assault.

It’s bad enough that liberal men refuse to protect the women in their lives.But now they won’t even allow the women to protect themselves.
A study of over 1.9 million self-defense cases involving handguns found that nearly 10% involved WOMEN defending themselves from SEXUAL ASSAULT or ABUSE and that, in less than 8% was the attacker even wounded. In the vast majority, the armed citizen only needed to brandish the gun or fire a warning shot to stop the attack.
And no, it is NOT enough to be “allowed” to keep a gun dismantled, unloaded and locked in a safe at home, because half a million of those self-defense cases occurred AWAY FROM HOME.

Be realistic about your ability to protect yourself.
Your instinct may be to scream, go ahead! It may startle your attacker and give you an opportunity to run away.
Kick off your shoes if you have time and can’t run in them.
Don’t take time to look back; just get away.
If your life is in danger, passive resistance may be your best defense.
Tell your attacker that you have a disease or are menstruating.
Vomiting or urinating may also convince the attacker to leave you alone.
Yelling, hitting or biting may give you a chance to escape, do it!
Understand that some actions on your part might lead to more harm.
Remember, every emergency situation is different. Only you can decide which action is most appropriate.

Remember how the mainstream media harped on Republican Todd Akin’s remarks about “legitimate rape”? Do not hold your breath waiting for any of them to pressure anybody anywhere to talk about Salazar’s remarks. After all, he’s a Democrat. If a Republican uttered that “callbox and whistle” absurdity, the media storm would be visible from space.
Meanwhile, an 11-year old girl used a rifle to scare off home invaders. Don’t hold your breath waiting for the national media to cover this one. They would only care about her if she were a Democrat and her attackers (who they could prove or pretend were Republicans) had raped and/or killed her. But a strong-minded female who defends herself with a rifle (a PINK rifle no less!) … crickets.

Jesse Jackson Jr, and his wife and campaign funds misappropriation to the tune of $750k. What, you’re not hearing about that in the media? Imagine if this were instead a former black conservative GOP Member of Congress. Or how about the countless droning stories about a Hispanic Senator taking a drink of water, as opposed to a Hispanic Senator involved in ethics violations and potentially underage prostitution. Yep, the duplicitous hypocrisy and double standards are alive and well…just think if Operation Fast and Furious, Benghazi, and drone attacks on Americans had occurred in a Republican administration.

Resigned after the House Ethics Committee determined he had tried to force himself on a female Peace Corps worker in Zaire. Apparently, it was enough that he said he was sorry and stepped down, since no further action was taken.
Resigned from Congress after being convicted of raping a 16-year-old campaign volunteer. Was later convicted on 15 financial crimes. Served 8 years in prison, had the remainder of his sentence commuted by President Clinton, then jumped right back into Chicago politics.
August 1994: Reynolds was indicted for sexual assault and criminal sexual abuse, yet continued his campaign and was re-elected in November.
August 1995: Reynolds was sentenced to 5 years on 12 counts of sexual assault, obstruction of justice and solicitation of child pornography. He resigned from Congress.
April 1997: A year before he was due to be released for his sexual crimes, Reynolds was sentenced to 6½ addition years on 15 unrelated counts of bank fraud and lying to SEC investigators.
January 2001: Clinton pardoned Reynolds,who was then hired by Jesse Jackson’s Rainbow/Push Coalition to … get this … work to decrease the number of young blacks going to prison.
November 2004: Reynolds ran for Congress again, but was overwhelmingly defeated in the Democratic primary by incumbent Jesse Jackson Jr.
1995 – 2012: DEMOCRAT Representative Jesse Jackson, Jr. (IL-2)
Resigned one month after the feds launched two criminal investigations against him, citing as his reason certain health problems he apparently had never noticed before, including “bipolar disorder, clinical depression, and gastrointestinal problems.”
November 2012: As soon as JJJ resigned, Reynolds announed his candidacy to replace him. The special election will be February 26, 2013.

This week, the FBI raided the medical office of West Palm Beach eye doctor, Salomon Melgen. Melgen’s lawyer says the FBI hasn’t told them why, but IRS records show Melgen owes $11.1 million in 2006 taxes. A previous IRS lien for $6.2 million was released in 2011. And I thought paying taxes was supposed to be patriotic and, you know, charitable.
Melgen is a major contributor to New Jersey Democratic Senator Robert Menendez. Last fall, the Daily Caller reported that Menendez had accepted free rides on Melgen’s private jet to visit Melgen’s palatial estate in the Dominican Republic, where Melgen allegedly provided the Senator with underage Dominican prostitutes. (Word on the street is Menendez likes ’em young.)
Menendez’s office says this is all a “politically motivated right-wing blog” lie. Funny thing though, how shortly after the Daily Caller broke their story, Menendez SUDDENLY paid Melgen $58,000 for those plane trips. When asked why it took three YEARS for them to remember to properly pay for these trips, his Chief of Staff just said OOPS. It was merely “an oversight.” Amazing how often those silly things happen, isn’t it?
Speaking of silly things … guess who the Democrats promoted to be the new chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee?

Promoting someone who has pending allegations of using child prostitutes and taking undeclared campaign contributions from a tax scofflaw?
