The Misery of Democrat Leadership

Click on graphics to embiggen.

During the twelve years of Republican leadership, the highest unemployment rate was 6.3%, which lasted for only one month in 2003. During the last month that Republicans held majority control, unemployment was 4.4%.

After Democrats took majority control of the federal government in January 2007 and during the last two years of Bush’s tenure, unemployment rose from 4.4% to 7.3%. In January 2009, when Obama moved into the Oval Office, unemployment stood at 7.8% and has been at or above 8.1% for all 40 months since. For 28 of those 40 months, unemployment stood between 9.0% and 10.0%.

Do you need any other reason to vote for Republicans this fall?

Reaganomics vs. Obamanomics

Ronald Reagan and Barack Obama each entered the White House during a bad economy. Obama often says he inherited the worst economy since the Great Depression. This is wrong. The economy Reagan inherited from Jimmy Carter was worse.

I will NOT be holding my nose in November

In 2008, I voted against Obama and for Palin. But this fall, I will be not just voting against Obama, but also for Romney.

Hype and Blame 2012

Obama Democrats constantly whine that their out-of-control spending is the fault of the Republicans. Sometimes it’s the bunch that took majority control of the House of Representatives in January 2011. Sometimes it’s the long-retired former President Bush.

It’s little wonder Democrats are so shrill. There is a saying in legal circles:

When you have the facts on your side, argue the facts. When you have the law on your side, argue the law. When you have neither, holler and pound the table.

Every day that goes by under the dangerously inept leadership of Barack Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, the federal government borrows another three and a half BILLION DOLLARS. Every DAY!  What’s going to happen the day we run out of rich people stupid enough to lend to us? Or worse, when China decides to simply foreclose on all our freedoms?

Anybody with two brain cells to rub together should be able to figure out that chronic, unrelenting debt is unsustainable. Democrats are so hot on sustainable energy. Why don’t they care about a sustainable ECONOMY?

Senator Obama PRETENDED to care when he was running for president. He called Bush’s deficit spending irresponsible and unpatriotic. But did he and his cronies even ATTEMPT to reduce or even contain it? No.

They MULTIPLIED it by more than 400%.

What’s “irresponsible” times four?  Criminal?

What’s “unpatriotic” times four? Treasonous?

Please. When you go to vote this fall, remember that condoms should never be reused or recycled.

Stimulus created jobs abroad

My church taught me to give only from the overflow of what God gave me. In my pastor’s words, “Don’t trample on your own family’s needs to rush off and do good deeds for some other family.” And the example he gave was graphic: “Don’t dump PB&J on your own family’s dinner plates so you can take a hot chicken dinner to some other family.”

I think this lesson applies here.

Preacher Obama wants an Amen

The White House tried to claim that Michelle Obama was referring to the Wizard of Oz, not Jesus, when she said,

“This President has brought us out of the dark and into the light.”

Suuuuuuuuuuuure she was. Check this out …

April 24, 2012: Obama asks students at UNC for an “Amen” [1:21]

Note how he wants an Amen for how awful it is that the average college graduate has about $25,000 in student loans.

But he has nothing to say about how his economic policies have depressed the job market so drastically that 50% of those graduates can’t find jobs.

Obamacare adds sales tax on homes

A 3.8 percent sales tax may not sound like much. But it would add $3,800 to the cost of a $100,000 home or more than $15 grand to the cost of a $400,000 home. If the GOP wins in November, they have promised to overturn Obamacare and pass common sense, economically sound health care legislation. If Obama and the Democrats win, count on this tax and many others to kick in and further depress the economy.

Who got the 2009 Stimulus money?

An Obama administration official explained that it didn’t matter where the government spent the money they borrowed from future taxpayers.

As far as they are concerned, “Giving out money is good for everyone.”

But, of course, it’s better for them if they give it out to their bffs.
