What Clinton Won
The Left never tires of telling us that Hillary won the popular vote. “The majority wanted Clinton!” Blah blah blah.
- She knew that presidential elections are decided by the electoral vote the whole time she was campaigning. She LOST the electoral vote. Period.
- Then she lost when the recount effort failed, again when the corrupt electors effort failed, and again when the make Congress debate every vote effort failed.
She also lost in all the swing states, which means her much-touted popular vote win occurred ONLY in states that were already blue.
That’s a lot of losing for someone who was allegedly the more popular candidate.
She did win 2.9 million more votes than Trump.
But let’s look at that number more closely.
- She won California by 4.3 million votes. Deep blue Los Angeles has a population of approximately ten million and 4.3 isn’t even half of that.
- She won New York by 1.7 million votes. Deep Blue New York City has a population of 8.4 million. 1.7 is about 20% of that.
- When you add California’s 4.3 million to New York’s 1.7, you get 6 million. But Hillary won the overall popular vote by only 2.9 million, which is a little less than half.
So, again, I say … Hillary won the popular vote. Blah, blah, blah.

I also just read Meghan McCain’s tweet about how Streep’s attitude is why Trump won and if Hollywood doesn’t wake up about this, they’re going to get him re-elected.
The responses from other tweeters demonstrate that the Left is not likely to wake up any time soon. Lots of bleating about how Hillary won the majority. Blah blah blah.
Who CARES?! She knew the election was decided by electoral votes.
1. She lost on election day.
2. She lost again when the recount effort failed.
3. She lost again when the effort to pressure electoral voters failed.
4. And she just lost again when not a single Democrat Senator stepped up to help the whiners in the House hold up Trump’s confirmation.

Winning vs. Whining
Some House Democrats and progressive groups are considering a challenge to Donald Trump’s election at Friday’s joint session to certify the Electoral College tally.
Members are allowed to protest when Congress officially counts the electoral votes, but they would need the support of at least one senator to make an impact and none have stepped forward.
While there’s almost no chance of changing the outcome, a two-chamber challenge could delay certification by forcing the House and Senate to separately debate each protested Electoral College vote.

Psychophant Symphony
OK, it’s sycophant. I know that. It’s called a play on words. Poetic license. I can do that. My post. Get over it.
The media whores have been slobbering over the Magic Negro for more than eight tragically long years. He had no credentials other than his daddy was black. No experience, no ambition other than a chance to impose his twisted vision of a disgraced and degraded nation. They were foursquare behind him and never made a hint of a protest to anything he did.
I was no fan of Donald Trump at the outset, but it retrospect, he’s the only candidate who could have beaten the Clinton machine and the media attack dogs. He was the right man at the right time. He used social media to get around the chattering class and go directly to the people. The press will resume their adversarial role, but it won’t make much difference to someone who earned everything he has by himself and apologizes to no one.

The 39th Annual Kennedy Center Honors show on CBS is yet another awards show you probably don’t watch, but it actually honors people who do have talent. However, if we’re to believe lefty host Stephen Colbert, that talent apparently also includes our lame duck president. Barack Obama has proven to be “passionate, intelligent, and dignified” over the past eight years, Colbert proclaimed as the D.C. audience gave him a standing ovation. Give me a break.

Hillary and the Bitter Clingers
There’s an old saying that goes, “If you want to know what Democrats are up to, just take a look at what they’re accusing Republicans of doing.” That’s exactly the case when it comes to those hardcore Clinton supporters who simply refuse to accept they lost; that people who have different opinions to theirs exist.
Yes, Clinton won the popular vote. Who cares? That was never, nor should it ever be, the measure that determines who is elected president. She knew it. Her supporters knew it. Her campaign knew it. They just chose not to campaign that way.
Call it arrogance or ignorance, but Hillary spent more time in California, a state she’d have won comfortably no matter what, than Wisconsin and Michigan in the final days of the election. She and her team made that choice, consciously. Just like she chose to call half of Trump’s supporters “a basket of deplorables” who, even worse, were “irredeemable.”
No one made her do that.

Pioneer Times at the Bunkhouse
Water heater stopped working a couple days ago. Had to wait until today to call the landlord. Having DW call, because I might say the wrong thing and get us evicted from Casa Pistol. The driveway didn’t get shoveled after the last snow, so SS went out and shoveled by hand yesterday. We’re heating water on the stove to wash with, so we don’t go near anybody who isn’t family. All in all, a wonderful day. Today eldest is coming with her family. She had a houseful yesterday so we’re getting together today, when we can spend more time together.
In other news, Christmas was better for millions of Christians than it has been for years. What makes the mood brighter is that soon we’ll be rid of the hateful creature that’s been ruining the country for the last eight years.
