March 3, 2015: Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a historic speech before Congress on Tuesday, touching on the strength of Israel, their fears of a nuclear Iran, and their gratitude for the support of the American people.
I have made a Facebook photo album about the speech with links, cartoons, and commentary. It’s a public album. You should have no problem accessing it even if you do not have a Facebook account.
Feb 28, 2015: The following is based on a Kuwaiti newspaper quoting “well-placed” sources
Last year, when Israel discovered that the United States was about to sign a nuclear agreement with Iran behind Israel’s back, Netanyahu and his top people decided to launch airstrikes against Iran’s nuclear program. Israeli fighter jets trained for several weeks and carried out experimental stealth flights in Iran’s airspace.
When an Israeli minister secretly revealed the plan to the Obama administration, Obama threatened to shoot down Israeli jets before they could reach their targets in Iran, forcing Netanyahu to abort the operation. Since then relations between Israel and the Obama administration have gotten even worse than they already were.
Leftist protesters led by CODE PINK gathered outside AIPAC2015 (American Israel Public Affairs Committee meeting) to raise the Hezbollah flag and chant slogans calling for the destruction of Israel.
There are a number of items to post today, but of course, everybody’s talking about Netanyahu’s speech before Congress. He treated the Kenyan half-breed,Popeye Reid, and the rest of that pack of gargoyles with far more respect than they deserved or they returned. I’ll post some of the pertinent news here then follow in the reply section. There’s no real organization to it,but that never stopped me before.
THIS IS THE ENTIRE SPEECH:
Democrats LASH OUT at Netanyahu, Tell Him to Go Home, Call Him “a Child”
ALL THEIR MONEY WON’T BUY A TEASPOON OF CLASS
Here’s the video of Rep. John Yarmuth from Kentucky losing it:
Minority leader Nancy Pelosi and Black Caucus members left Netanyahu’s speech before it was over.
Netanyahu to US Congress: This is a VERY BAD DEAL – We’d Be Better Off Without It (VIDEO)
Nobel laureate and Holocaust Survivor Elie Wiesel was in attendance today.
From his speech…
Why would anyone make this nuclear deal with Iran?
The foremost sponsor of global terrorism could be weeks away from an entire arsenal of nuclear weapons.
“If Iran wants to be treated like a normal country, let it act like a normal country.”
Iran needs the nuclear deal more than you do.
This is a very bad deal. We’d be better off without it.
The alternative to a bad deal is a much better deal.
Why Obama So Dislikes Netanyahu
There is no question about whether President Obama — along with Secretary of State John Kerry and the editorial pages of many newspapers — has a particular dislike of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. But there is another question: Why? And the answer is due to an important rule of life that too few people are aware of: Those who do not confront evil resent those who do.

Netanyahu Slams White House Deal With Iran: “Even If Israel Has to Stand Alone, Israel Will Stand”
Just as he did in his speech to AIPAC yesterday in Washington D.C., Netanyahu hinted that Israel will take on Iran by itself, if necessary, to prevent the regime’s nuclear program from moving forward, but expressed hope America wouldn’t force the Jewish State to do it alone.
“The days of the Jewish people remaining passive in the face of genocidal enemies, those days are over,” Netanyahu said. “Even if Israel has to stand alone, Israel will stand.”
“For over ten years, gay Palestinians have been fleeing their own country and settling in Tel Aviv, one of the most gay-friendly cities on the planet. … So you might imagine that gay Westerners, with an uncensored press and ready access to information about the torture and execution of homosexuals under administrations like Hamas’s, would be reluctant to support barbaric medieval homophobia. Surely they would feel a natural affinity to the permissive democracy in this conflict. … Alas, not.” – by Milo Yiannopoulos (Aug 1, 2014)
On Jan. 22, The Jerusalem Post reported that Iran has deployed a new intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) “whose range far exceeds the distance between Iran and Israel, and between Iran and Europe.”
Iran apologists want us to believe this is not a military ICBM for delivering nuclear warheads, but a peaceful Space Launch Vehicle (SLV) for orbiting satellites. However, this is a distinction without a difference.
The Obama administration is busting a gut over Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s upcoming speech to the U.S. Congress.
L. Todd Wood at Red Flag says this is because Netanyahu is likely to speak openly about the reality of Islamic terrorism and thus poses a threat to the semi-secrecy of the Obama administration’s agenda to help Iran develop nukes they can stick on top of their ICBMs.
It makes sense. Obama wants American sheeple to continue to swallow his baloney about how Muslim extremist groups are no threat to us and certainly aren’t motivated by Islam, except they do and they are.
Bret Stevens at The Wall Street Journal notes that Democrat support for Israel has been eroding for decades and that relations between our two nations have been in crisis since Obama took office.
To my mind, it all adds up to something I’ve believed since 2008, which is that while Obama is not the Anti-Christ, he was put into the Oval Office to help pave the way for him.

After describing the Great Tribulation and the Rapture, Jesus told his disciples,
“Learn a lesson from the fig tree. When its branch becomes tender and sprouts leaves, you know that summer is near. In the same way, when you see all these things, know that he is near, at the gates. Amen, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things have taken place.” – Matthew 24:32-34
Because figs are an ancient symbol for the Hebrew nation, some Bible scholars interpret this passage to mean that the End Times will happen within the lifetime of those who were alive when the modern nation of Israel was reborn.
Old Testament fig symbols
Fig trees = A characteristic of the wealth of the Holy Land
“The Lord, your God, is bringing you into a good country, a land with streams of water, with springs and fountains welling up in the hills and valleys, a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, of olive trees and of honey, a land where you will always have bread and where you will lack nothing.” – Deuteronomy 8:7-9
A fig tree = A characteristic of peace and prosperity in Israel under godly leadership
“Thus Judah and Israel lived in security, everyone under their own vine and fig tree from Dan to Beer-sheba, as long as Solomon lived.” – 1 Kings 5:5 NABRE [N.b., in some translations, this is numbered 1 Kings 4:25.]
Good figs = A symbol of faithful Jews in exile
In the 6th century BC, Jeremiah prophesied: “Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: “Like these good figs, I will also regard with favor Judah’s exiles whom I sent away from this place into the land of the Chaldeans. I will look after them for good and bring them back to this land, to build them up, not tear them down; to plant them, not uproot them.” – Jeremiah 24:5-6
Tending a fig tree = Being a good servant
“Those who tend a fig tree eat its fruit; so those attentive to their master will be honored.” – Proverbs 27:18
If Jesus intended “this generation” (Matthew 24:34 ) to mean people who were alive when modern Israel was reborn on May 14, 1948, then the End Times are imminent.
“Seventy is the sum of our years, or eighty, if we are strong.”– Psalm 90:10
A child born on or before May 14, 1948 will be70 years old in the spring of 2018.
Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who warned of a “harsh response,” ordered the demolition of the homes of the two Palestinians who carried out the attack.
U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said he spoke to Netanyahu after the assault and denounced it as an “act of pure terror and senseless brutality and violence.”
A small militant group calling itself the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine said the terrorists were members.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas condemned the attack, the first time he has done so since a recent spike in deadly violence against Israelis. He also called for an end to Israeli “provocations.”
Hamas, the militant Palestinian group that runs the Gaza Strip, praised the attack. In Gaza, dozens took to the streets to celebrate, with some offering trays full of candy.
CtH: I think Dennis Prager summed all this up very neatly. The best bit starts at 4:00.
This will put the fear of God into you.On November 6, 2014, the Wall Street Journal reported that President Obama secretly wrote a letter last month to Iran’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei saying he wanted to link cooperation in the fight against the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria to a nuclear deal.
Nov 8, 2014: Former Israeli Ambassador to the UN Dan Gillerman blasted Barack Obama today on America’s News HQ. The former Ambassador told Uma Pemmaraju Obama’s letter to Ayatollah Khamenei is shameful and “a letter of appeasement.”
“Israel is very upset and very surprised because that letter is really a letter of appeasement. It’s sleeping with the enemy the morning after sending him a love letter. And, as we know it it not the first time. It is probably the fourth communication between the president and the Iranian leadership. It totally disregards the fact that the recipient of that letter is a terror state which perpetrates, harbors, finances terror all over the world… To do this is a sign of weakness. The message it sends out to its allies, to America’s allies, especially to Israel is a message of weakness, of a weak America. And, the worse thing is the message it sends out to the Iranians is how eager the United States is to that deal. How eager the United States is to this evil, fundamentalist, cruel, extreme, cynical regime in Tehran… Neville Chamberlain… And what it says to America’s allies is they cannot rely on the United States and what it says to America’s enemies is that they can get away with murder… This is very dangerous… I think it’s a sign of desperation…”

Can it get any clearer that Obama was put in office to facilitate the End of Times?
