A federal judge dismissed all charges against Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy, his two sons and another man on Monday after accusing prosecutors of willfully withholding evidence from Bundy’s lawyers.

U.S. District Judge Gloria Navarro cited “flagrant prosecutorial misconduct” in her decision to dismiss all charges against the Nevada rancher and three others.

Bundy’s supporters cheered as he walked out of court a free man, hugging his wife. He said he’d been jailed for 700 days as a “political prisoner” for refusing to acknowledge federal authority over the land around his cattle ranch.

Navarro said Monday it was clear the FBI was involved in the prosecution and it was not a coincidence that most of the evidence that was held back – which would have worked in Bundy’s favor – came from the FBI.

Wasn’t feeling well when I finished delivering papers Wednesday morning. I managed to make it as far as the bed where I immediately fell asleep. When I got up 3 hours later I managed to make it to the bedroom door before I collapsed and didn’t have the strength to get up. My wife called 911 and after 7 hours in the hospital I was told I had Type A Influenza. I was as sick as I’ve ever been. The doctor prescribed Tamiflu. It’s supposed to be good. Should be — a 5-day supply, 10 pills, cost $98. My wife is pretty sick, too, but she sat with me at the hospital the whole time and always puts me ahead of herself. Miss Isabel’s 14th birthday is Sunday, but we don’t dare go. We’ll call her and when grandma is feeling better she’ll take her on a shopping trip. My boss has been great, and I plan to go back to work tomorrow. Sunday is by far the biggest day in the paper business.

Just thought I’d throw a few things together that don’t make a lot of sense, but what else is new?

Most of what passes for tolerance today is intellectual cowardice, a fear of intelligent engagement.

Those who brandish the word “intolerant” are unwilling to be challenged by other views, to grapple with contrary opinions, or even to consider them. It’s easier to hurl an insult—“you intolerant bigot”—than to confront the idea and either refute it or be changed by it.

In the modern era, “tolerance” has become intolerance.

But the “modern” definition of tolerance — “All views have equal merit and none should be considered better than another” — presumes to be a view whose merit is better than any other.

It is self-contradictory and therefore pure nonsense.

The fact is that true tolerance can only be practiced toward those we think are wrong. I can’t tolerate someone unless I disagree with him. I don’t need to “tolerate” people who share my views. They’re on my side, so there’s nothing to “put up” with.

The point of true tolerance is to treat those we disagree with decently and with respect.

The best time to see will be at 08:45 GMT (03:45 EST) on December 4
At this point the moon will be 222,135 miles (357,492 kilometres) from Earth
Skygazers are set to be treated to a ‘full cold supermoon’ this weekend.

As the moon orbits the Earth every month, there is a point in every cycle where the moon is closest (perigee) and a point where it’s farthest away (apogee).

There is also a monthly lunar cycle where you can see varying amounts of the moon depending on it’s position relative to Earth and the sun.

For a supermoon to happen, these need to line up – something that will occur this Sunday.

If the skies are clear then there should be no difficulty spotting the supermoon
