I am SO proud that I was able to help (a little) to fund this movie!
“Gosnell: The Trial of America’s Biggest Serial Killer” debuts in theaters nationwide on Oct. 12. I do believe this groundbreaking film by indie producers Phelim McAleer and Ann McElhinney is the most important movie in America right now — a true-life saga of good vs. evil, deadly medical malpractice, systemic government malfeasance and cultural apathy toward the most vulnerable members of our society.
I first reported on this real-life horror story nearly eight years ago, but you’ve probably not heard or read a word about “Gosnell” in the mainstream press, TV news or online. The conspiracy of silence is the result of both malign neglect and active suppression of inconvenient truths:
—One CNN commentator flippantly explained that the network’s lack of interest was a “business decision,” not bias.
—Pro-abortion censors at crowdsourcing giant Kickstarter banned McAleer and McElhinney from raising money for the project — leading small donors across the country to help conduct the largest-ever crowdfunded movie on Indiegogo. (Full disclosure: I put my money where my principles are and donated three times, in addition to using my social media platforms to lend a hand.)
—Taxpayer-supported National Public Radio refused to run sponsored ads describing Gosnell as an “abortionist” because its legal department determined the accurate description violated the left-leaning network’s “value neutral” platform. LOL.
—And this past week, Facebook banned advertising for the movie — a continuation of its systemic crackdown on conservative speech.
In just the last month, late-night clown Jimmy Kimmel mocked Trump’s Slovenian accent, CNN contributor April Ryan attacked her as “not culturally American,” former Hillary Clinton spokesman Philippe Reines derided her genteel presence at former first lady Barbara Bush’s funeral, and horror writer Stephen King snickered at her hospitalization this week for kidney surgery.
Yet,“Melania” is now among the fastest-growing baby names in the nation, according to recently released Social Security data.
And a new poll by anti-Trump CNN released on Monday showednearly 6 in 10 Americans have a positive view of FLOTUS.Uh-oh!
The original plan for today was to concentrate on the looming threat posed by that fat little brat in NoKo who would be simply pathetic if it were not for the fact he is so dangerous. I still plan to do it, but first things first.
When AG Sessions announced that Obama’s executive order illegally creating DACA was going to be undone by Trump, the reaction was predictable, as it always is when the left doesn’t get their way 100% of the time. It would be a monumental waste of time to post even a smidgen of the wailing from media whores, bloated political layabouts, and glitterati who think their opinion is so much more important than yours, and you need to pay attention because they’re really, really smart.
It is obvious that the alternative to President Trump that we were faced with would be far, far worse, but damn, he is frustrating the hell out of us. He would sign ANY legislation Congress sent him, just to say he did it. The lazy bastards in the GOP are in no hurry to do anything they could be called on and their friends the democrats aren’t about to help.
This really pissed me off:
Trump Explicitly Calls For Amnesty, Says He Might ‘Revisit’ DACA Decision
HE SAID, ESSENTIALLY, SIT ON YOUR ASSES FOR 6 MONTHS AND I’LL REINSTATE DACA. A REAL NO-BRAINER FOR THE DO-NOTHINGS.
“Congress now has 6 months to legalize DACA (something the Obama Administration was unable to do),” Trump tweeted. “If they can’t, I will revisit this issue!”
“Congress now has the opportunity to advance responsible immigration reform that puts American jobs and American security first,” Trump said in a statement following Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ announcement about the rescinding of DACA. Trump’s call for a legislative amnesty is a departure from his campaign rhetoric in which he said there would be “no amnesty.”
Trump to Congress: Legalize DACA (or I Will Revisit)
But by late Tuesday, Trump appeared to have turned into a paper tiger on the key campaign promise to get rid of DACA, saying he would “revisit this issue” if Congress did not “legalize DACA.”
It is unlikely that Trump’s “America First” base, which supported Trump in part because of his focus on illegal immigration, will be satisfied with anything approaching a repeat of DACA — either by Congress or presidential pen.
Perhaps sensing a possible cave, conservative commentator Ann Coulter tweeted before the announcement that millions of voters “not only won’t vote for [Trump] again, but will never vote Republican again if they pass this DACA amnesty.”
WE HAVE COME TO EXPECT NO LESS FROM THESE CARRION CROWS
“Donald Trump’s heartless decision to rescind DACA will force these young people into the shadows. It is a moral disgrace,” Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez said in an email to supporters. “Today, show Donald Trump we will not let his cruelty stand. Chip in $3 or more right now.”
Sarah Huckabee Sanders: ‘Heartless’ for Pelosi and Dems to Fundraise Off DACA Decision
There Is No Such Thing As a ‘Deserving DREAMer’
I, I, I. Me, me, me. My bills. My ego. My education. My job. My anxiety. Since when did DACA become the Depression and Anxiety Cure for Amnesty-seekers?
It’s this insatiable appetite for collective entitlement that demonstrates the perils of blanket amnesty. Give a privileged political class an inch and they’ll take, take, take until feckless public servants give away their country.
Exactly. Just like they aren’t illegal immigrants, but rather illegal aliens.
The word “immigrant” is defined as “a person who comes to live permanently in a foreign country.”
Sneaking in here illegally to deal drugs, practice human trafficking, or earn money to send home is not immigration. Voting illegally is not immigration. Stomping on the U.S. flag is not immigration. Refusing to learn English is not immigration.
When we use the term “illegal immigrant”, we feed the Left’s “Waaah! You Hate Immigrants!” meme and we should all refuse to do that.
“Rep. Jason Chaffetz, chairman of the House Oversight Committee, sent a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions today asking Sessions to consider convening a grand jury or bringing charges against Hillary Clinton’s former IT guy, Bryan Pagliano. Pagliano was subpoenaed to testify before the committee last year but refused to appear on two occasions. After the second refusal, the Oversight Committee voted to hold Pagliano in contempt.”
Weeks after the House Minority leader blasted President Donald Trump for pledging to investigate voter fraud, a federal appellate court has ruled that a Peruvian immigrant can be deported from the U.S. for illegally voting in a federal election.
Michelle Malkin wrote on her blogthat her family’s health insurance policy has been canceled. This is the second time since Obamacare that this has happened. I guess her carrier never got that memo about Obama’s promises.
People who were unable to affordthe high cost of Obamacare insurance premiums are getting this from the IRS.
And Dan Bongino writes on his Facebook page:
“So I received another notice this week (3rd one now) that my family’s healthcare insurance costs are going up, AGAIN. How people still support this dreadful President, after subjecting us to this unnecessary, economically unworkable, complete failure of a law, is beyond my comprehension.
“And for my liberal friends, spare me the false bravado about how “great” Obamacare is and how the almighty Obama saved us. You and I both know that he took an already broken healthcare system and smashed it into the ground, and he took hard-working people with him.
“So cut the garbage and stop trying to persuade us all that the letters we get in the mail about hiked premiums and cancellations, and that the un-returned phone calls from doctor’s offices that are no longer taking new patients, aren’t really happening. We’re tired of the lies, tired of this President, tired of being lectured, tired of the blame game and we’re tired of having to pay the price for the past 7 years of epic presidential failure.”
In other news, priests and nuns are still fighting the HHS mandate in the courts, cuz Obama is just so down with religious freedom. Not.
In 1991, U.S. Senator and Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee Joe Biden led the Anita Hill witch hunt during hearings for Clarence Thomas’s nomination to the Supreme Court. Those hearings put the nation on high alert about sexual harassment in the workplace and Joe Biden led the charge.
In 1993, U.S. Senator Joe Biden said, “No man has a right to touch a woman without her consent, and that’s what we’ve got to get across.”
In 2000, while discussing the Violence Against Women Act, U.S. Senator Joe Biden said, “There is no circumstance under which a man has a right to touch a woman without her consent other than self-defense. We are changing the attitudes of America about what constitutes appropriate behavior on the part of a man with a woman.”
Another victim of Irony Retardation is David Axelrod, who was a top political advisor to President Bill Clinton, a chief campaign advisor to Barack Obama during the campaign for the presidency in 2008 and Obama’s Senior Advisor from 2008 to 2011.
During a discussion of his new book, “Believer: My Forty Years in Politics”, he actually said OUT LOUD, “I’m proud of the fact that basically you’ve had an administration that has been in place for six years in which there hasn’t been a major scandal. I think that says a lot about the ethical strictures of this administration.”
Whatever he’s smoking is probably illegal. Michelle Malkin filled an entire book with Obama scandals before his administration was 6 months old. At this point, he’s got a veritable alphabet soup of scandals.
The one and ONLY reason nothing has become a “major scandal”is that the butt-sniffing, leg-humping MSM that gleefully piled on Republican Clarence Thomasfor something he may have said years beforetotally ignore, downplay, excuse and laugh off egregious behavior by their Democrat cronies.
