This could bite them in the butt

November 21, 2013: The Democrat-majority United States Senate struck down a rule that had been in place for 225 YEARS … because at the moment, it benefits them. Previously, the rule mandated that when the President nominates people to positions requiring Senate approval, those people had to gain a minimum of 60 votes in favor of the nomination before they could take office.

Back in 2005, when Bush and the then-Republican-majority in the Senate tried to can this 60+ rule in favor of a simple 51 vote majority, Democrats (including Barack Obama and Harry Reid) screamed it was the political equivalent of a nuclear assault. But that was then and this is now, so they nuked away and Obama’s appointees will all sail on to their federal judicial benches or presidential cabinet positions.

This video is really worth the time. WATCH Biden, Clinton and Schumer rant about how power-grabby Republicans are and how when they get back into power, they won’t even think about doing anything so heinous is really rich, considering how they JUST DID EXACTLY THAT.

The shoe is on the other foot [4:55]

The Senate has currently 55 Democrat vs. 45 Republican, with a Democrat tie breaker. So yeah … they’ve got the power right now. And they’ve shown how little regard they have for the right-wing voters of this nation. They’ve consistently refused to allow bills the Republican-majority House has passed to come to the Senate floor for a vote. And now they’ve done this.

The problem is that rule changes that benefit one party can easily benefit the other down the road. I remember this happening with Massachusetts where state Democrats changed a rule to get their guy appointed to a vacating seat in Congress, but then later on, the changed rule put a Republican into a vacating seat.

Next November, 35 Senate seats will be on the ballot: 21 are currently held by Democrats; 14 are currently held by Republicans. It looks to me like Democrats have a lot more to lose with this rule change than Republicans do.

2013_11 16 Thus Spake Obama

The following is excerpted from “Thus Spake Obama” by Mark Steyn

http://www.nationalreview.com/article/364093/thus-spake-obama-mark-steyn

Five years ago, Barack Obama assured us:

“I know more about policies on any particular issue than my policy directors.”

Well, apart from his signature health-care policy. That’s a mystery to him.

“I was not informed directly that the website would not be working,” he told us.

The buck stops with something called “the executive branch,” which is apparently nothing to do with him. As evidence that he was entirely out of the loop, he offered this:

“Had I been I informed, I wouldn’t be going out saying, ‘Boy, this is going to be great.’ You know, I’m accused of a lot of things, but I don’t think I’m stupid enough to go around saying, ‘This is going to be like shopping on Amazon or Travelocity,’ a week before the website opens, if I thought that it wasn’t going to work.”

Ooooo-kay. So, if I follow correctly,

  • the smartest president ever is not smart enough to ensure that his website works;
  • he’s not smart enough to inquire of others as to whether his website works;
  • he’s not smart enough to check that his website works before he goes out and tells people what a great website experience they’re in for.

But he is smart enough to know that he’s not stupid enough to go around bragging about how well it works if he’d already been informed that it doesn’t work.

So he’s smart enough to know that if he’d known what he didn’t know he’d know enough not to let it be known that he knew nothing.

The country’s in the very best of hands.

MØST MØRAL ADMINISTRATIØN? NØT EVEN CLØSE!

Here’s another one for the Most Corrupt and Incompetent Administration EVER file.

Remember the Project Veritas video I sent out showing ObamaCare Navigators telling undercover reporters to lie on their applications?

2013_11b Project Veritas - NUL I always lie

The National Urban League (NUL) received a federal Health Navigator Grant from the Department of Health and Human Services in August 2013.

  • The current president and CEO of National Urban League (NUL) is Marc Morial.
  • Morial was appointed by Obama to sit on the President’s Advisory Council on Financial Capability in 2012.
  • Morial’s wife, Michelle Miller, is a CBS News correspondent and occasional substitute news anchor.

More about the ObamaCare Navigators:

In early August, Gov. Bob Jindal (R-La.) exposed the lack of training required to become a navigator, the flimsy background checks for those hired, and the massive potential for identity theft.

“The ‘navigators’ will be required to take only 20 hours of online course training, which will apparently make them experts on the 1,000 page ObamaCare bill,” Jindal wrote in an op-ed published on Fox News. “To make matters worse, these ‘navigators’ are going to have access to all kinds of personal information that will make the whole program ripe for fraud.”

Last week, during the Senate Finance Committee hearing, Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Kathleen Sebelius admitted there was no federal requirement for navigators to undergo a criminal background check before being hired and gaining access to applicants’ personal information.

When Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) asked her to clarify if a “convicted felon could be a navigator and could acquire sensitive personal information from an individual unbeknownst to them?”, Sebelius admitted, “This is possible.”

LØSER!

2013_11 14 Ocare on the way to a train wreck by Terrell

One month ago, the Fox New poll showed Democrats ahead by 8 points in the generic congressional ballot.

Republicans now lead by 3 points.

2013_11 12 FOX poll - BHO approval

2013_11 12 FOX poll - BHO approval specifics

Nov 13: HHS reported that “more than 100,000 people have selected a health care plan through the ObamaCare exchanges.” NOTE the use of the key word: SELECTED. Obama wanted to have 500,000 health care plans PURCHASED by October 31. It’s mid-November and the best they can claim is that 100,000 people have managed to get into the web site, make an account, shop the plans, and choose one to put into their online shopping carts. Unless and until these people go back and again manage to get into the web site, access their accounts, open their shopping carts and click on BUY, the “100,000 people have selected” means exactly nØthing.

Nov 13: House Democrats delivered a fix-it-or-else ultimatum to President Obama, giving him until Friday to produce an affordable solution for the millions of Americans losing their health plans under ObamaCare — or risk some of them jumping ship and backing the Republican solution to allow all Americans to enroll in any current policy, even if it is banned by ObamaCare. Naturally, since the Democrats are in an uproar and his signature legislation is a train wreck, Captain ZerØ left town to enjoy yet another fundraiser with his glitterati bffs. He’ll also give a speech on not-healthcare so he can charge taxpayers for the trip.

Obama Democrats stealing from AIDS victims? Yawn.

It’s been TWO MONTHS since the Chicago SUN-TIMES published this story:

2013_09 09 13 charged, 6 pled guilty

Aren’t we glad Democrats are taking over the entire health care system in the country? Cuz like they’re so ABOVE us all in the caring, compassion, trustworthiness and knowing better than we do what’s best for our families departments?

When I googled “13 charged embezzle”, these were the top hits.

Top hits for 13 charged embezzle google

I didn’t find a major news outlet reporting on this until page three of my search results … and that was a FOX story about a DIFFERENT case of embezzlement.

Can anyone honestly say this would not have made national headline news instantly if the sticky-fingers had belonged to 13 REPUBLICANS, particularly if two of them had ties to any of the people Obama and his cronies loathe and despise?

Remind me again how much publicity the Left Stream Media gave to George Zimmerman who was ACQUITTED and how much they did NOT give to abortionist Kermit Gosnell who was CONVICTED?

Proof that Republicans are NICER than Democrats

Looking at the 16 point jump from Obama’s 2008 popular vote and his inauguration week approvals got me wondering if disappointed presidential voters traditionally give a big old Atta Boy to the new president they didn’t want.

So I did a historical search and ranked the results by the size of the Atta Boy, then colored them by party. Note: I ignored second term election/inauguration stats, because I only wanted to see how disappointed voters responded to a relatively unknown new president.

What you’ll see below is that Atta Boys have been highest when a DEMOCRAT won and lowest when a REPUBLICAN won. In other words, disappointed Republicans have been significantly MORE willing to accept and cheer on a new Democrat president than Democrats have been willing to accept and cheer on a new Republican president.

REPUBLICANS are nicer than DEMOCRATS

More of that Democrat Civility

The Republican candidate for Virginia’s next Lt. Governor is Conservative Black Christian, E.W. Jackson. He believes in marriage between one man and one woman and he pulls no punches when he compares the Planned Parenthood abortion business with the KKK.

“The justification for slavery is in a sense the same as the justification for unfettered abortion, which is, the victim is not a real person, he’s not a human being and therefore has no rights that we are bound to respect.”

As per usual … Lefties freely hurl racial epithets like “Uncle Tom” in his direction, because Democrats totally believe that everyone with dark skin belongs on the Democrat plantation. Cuz … you know … people with dark skin are too stooooooooooooopid to think for themselves. /sarc

And just to cross all the tees in “There is no such thing as Democrat Civility”, Jackson’s White Democrat opponent, Ralph Northram, refused ON CAMERA to shake his hand or even make eye contact with him. (See at 6:30 in video linked below.)

2013_11 04 White Dem refuses to shake hands with Black Rep

Northram and the Democrat’s pick for governor, Terry McAuliffe, have portrayed themselves as centrists, ever ready to “reach across the aisle” … but the video shows Northam won’t even reach across his chair.

And speaking of Democrat Hypocrisy … last week, some Tolerant Democrat vandalized one of Jackson’s signs with white paint. Can you imagine the RAAAAAAAAAAACISM outcry if Jackson were a Democrat?

2013_10 28 Black Republican candidate's sign defaced

Also, in local “Democrat Civility” news … we had GOP yard signs stolen again this week. You just gotta love that hands-across-the-aisle, First-Amendment-respecting, coexisty-tolerance, dontcha?

Who is waging a “War on Women”?

Pro-Life mss using leftist memes

In the same month that Republican Texas made abortion safer for women by requiring abortions be performed only by physicians with hospital privileges, Democrat California went the other way, empowering nurse practitioners, certified nurse midwives and physician assistants to perform aspiration abortions.

Becoming like Detroit and Greece

October 25, 2013: Reuters reports that the City of Detroit is broke and cannot pay its 23,500 government pensioners what was promised to them. Pensioners will thus be seeing their checks cut by 84%.

Democrats destroyed Detroit

GOVERNMENT depends on TAX INCOME to pay its bills.

BUSINESSES with property and employees PAY MOST TAXES.

DEMOCRAT policies:

  • increase government spending and the number of citizens dependent on the government for their income, while simultaneously
  • driving businesses and their jobs away, thus reducing the tax income that pays for the government’s spending.

The OUTCOME is always the same:

  • the DEMOCRAT government goes broke;
  • the DEMOCRAT government can’t pay all those people depending on government checks;
  • the DEMOCRAT government cuts off payments to all those people depending on government checks;
  • DEMOCRATS blame Republicans.

What the government GIVES, the government can TAKE AWAY.

And what DEMOCRATS did to Detroit, they have been doing to the entire nation.

This has been painfully obvious since they took MAJORITY CONTROL in DC in January 2007.

2013_09 Employment in America - GOP vs DEM

FOX News: Homeland Security is preparing for riots on Nov 1 2013 [4:36]

For a long time, I’ve been seeing this Left vs. Right as a part of the battle in the big war between the followers of Satan and the followers of YAHWEH.

  • October 31 is the highest holy day (Samhain) in the Satanic church.
  • November 1 is the Feast of All Saints for Catholics.

Just sayin’ …
