Yes, Virginia. Obamacare does include death panels

Well, duh. We all knew that. At least, those of us who were paying attention, as opposed to those who were drinking CØØL-AID.

Now it seems that prominent Democrat (former Vermont Governor, DNC Chairman) Howard Dean has published an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal admitting Palin was right to oppose the Obamacare “Independent Payment Advisory Board.” The IPAB is exactly what Palin said.

IPAB: A panel of unelected, political appointees in D.C. with the power to decide who in America gets what health care treatment.

Dean writes, “The IPAB is essentially a health-care rationing body. By setting doctor reimbursement rates for Medicare and determining which procedures and drugs will be covered and at what price, the IPAB will be able to stop certain treatments its members do not favor by simply setting rates to levels where no doctor or hospital will perform them.

There does have to be control of costs in our health-care system. However, rate setting — the essential mechanism of the IPAB — has a 40-year track record of failure. What ends up happening in these schemes (which many states including my home state of Vermont have implemented with virtually no long-term effect on costs) is that patients and physicians get aggravated because bureaucrats in either the private or public sector are making medical decisions without knowing the patients.”

The Right is delighted to see a prominent Dem like Dean making our case for us. Not that the Left cares. Obamacare never was about lowering health care costs or any of the other rainbow and unicorns crap they claimed it was about. It was, is and will continue to be about

  • increasing the power and wealth of elite Democrat politicians,
  • decreasing American freedoms with a top down control system, and
  • killing all those who are deemed unfit or inconvenient by those in power.

In short, it’s about destroying the FAITH, HOPE and CHARITY that have been the hallmarks of our Christian Constitutional Republic from its founding and replacing them with the HATE, DESPAIR and SELFISHNESS that are the hallmarks of the Atheistic Socialist Dictatorship the Left wants running America.

McCain helped elect Obama in 2008

During the 2008 primaries, the Democrat Media Complex chose John McCain as the Republican presidential candidate and Barack Obama as the Democrat candidate. During the primaries, they pimped their favorites and sabotaged the rest.

As soon as the primaries were over, McCain went from being the media’s bestest bud to being their new target. And McCain not only cooperated, but gagged his otherwise conservative and outspoken VP candidate, Sarah Palin.

Why was McCain chosen to run against the Magic Negro? And why did he cooperate in losing the election to the man who so clearly wanted to destroy our way of life?

2008 McCain self sabotaging

Blackmail.

  • Many of McCain’s fellow Vietnam POWs say they saw very little of McCain when they were held at Hoa Loa, aka the Hanoi Hilton. McCain told them when he was not in with them, he was in solitary.
  • But according to some, the CIA has notes and reports made by John McCain’s POW interrogators at the Hanoi Hilton that show he collaborated with his Communist captors, giving his captors information and making propaganda videos in exchange for medical care, an apartment in Hanoi and the services of prostitutes.
  • Because of McCain’s cooperation, the North Vietnamese contemptuously nicknamed him “Songbird.” On June 4, 1969, a U.S. wire service story headlined, “PW Songbird Is Pilot Son of Admiral,” described one of McCain’s radio recordings:
  • “Hanoi has aired a broadcast in which the pilot son of the United States commander in the Pacific, Adm. John McCain, purportedly admits to having bombed civilian targets in North Vietnam and praises medical treatment he has received since being taken prisoner.”

Democrats have friends in the CIA who would be happy to use that information to destroy McCain’s cushy Senate career. It’s clear that McCain will continue to “reach across the aisle” (code for “do what he’s told”) for as long as the Democrats pulling his strings consider him a useful Republican idiot.

I’ve seen many leftist comedians over the years in Las Vegas, most times they are fun and enjoyable, and they can even be entertaining. I enjoy listening to all sides, and working in newsrooms for many years allowed me to hear plenty of divergent opinions. It was in this spirit that I joined friends to see Bill Maher perform at The Pearl at The Palms on Saturday Night. I went with low expectations. I just didn’t know how low he would go.

You may recall the Republican candidate for vice-president in 2008, Sarah Palin has a special needs son. I have interviewed Palin about her son, and with a 27 year old special needs son of my own, we have a common bond. Politics aside, that bond is strong with all parents of special needs children. I drop off my son, Troy, at Opportunity Village in Las Vegas every day. It’s a work place for adults with special needs where they contribute to society. It is a marvelous charity and every time I am there I can feel the wonderful spirit of those who work within. Yes, I am passionate about this.

Maher chose to make a joke about Palin’s son, Trig and in the process he used the “R” word to describe this 5 year old special needs boy. Of course, since Trig is Palin’s son, he is a target of the left. Special needs be damned, there are jokes to be made by “caring compassionate” liberals. I was so disgusted and a bit surprised that I forgot the exact joke. Perhaps he saves this joke for live audiences only. The audience of more supposed compassionate, caring leftists loved the joke and roared with laughter.

The crowd reaction was perhaps the most disturbing part of all this, it also surprised me. While a joke about a 5 year old child with Down Syndrome is about as low as you can go, I don’t want comedians to be forced to be “politically correct” in their humor. Maher will say what he wants to say and he will always claim some sort of moral high road and friendly media will always give it to him. But I wonder if management at The Palms is comfortable with special needs children being used as targets for humor in their shows. Perhaps they are. So be it. They should be made to answer.

If Palms management is comfortable with joke like these, I will gladly never return to their property. I will also always be glad to stand up for those, who many times, have no voice.
