Ivermectin Update

Earlier this month, an FDA lawyer was forced to admit, under oath, that doctors have a right to prescribe ivermectin for anything they want, because (unlike the ‘rona jabs) the drug was fully approved for use in humans. And it’s been in use, worldwide, since 1986.

The FDA’s admission revived the discussion about using ivermectin for COVID-19. On August 11, Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) said, “The doctors I’ve been dealing with and talking to for years now, they believe that probably hundreds of thousands of Americans lost their lives because they were denied early treatment and they were denied because the FDA sabotaged, for example, ivermectin. We are going down a very dangerous path, but it’s a path that is being laid out and planned by an elite group of people that want to take total control over our lives, and that’s what they’re doing bit by bit.”

Not surprisingly, on August 17, the FDA reiterated its sniffy disapproval of anyone using ivermectin to prevent or treat COVID-19. The Legacy Media promptly repeated their spin that it is not approved, because they haven’t done enough studies to establish its efficacy and safety … so not at all like the experimental COVID-19 vaxxxines that were rushed into worldwide use based on the carefully hidden results of rushed clinical trials.

Officially, the FDA has approved ivermectin only to treat a few specific parasitic infections, including strongyloidiasis and onchocerciasis. It proved so inexpensive, safe and effective that doctors around the world have prescribed it for a much wider range of parasitic infections than the ones officially approved. And, as its safety became clear, researchers looked into how it works and what else it might be useful in treating. Below I discuss this wide range of non-parasitic ailments. Obviously, these uses are just as off-label as COVID-19, yet the FDA doesn’t demonize any of them. In fact, as you can see in the screenshot above, the CDC recommends its off-label use for scabies.

In February 2017, an article entitled “Ivermectin: enigmatic multifaceted ‘wonder’ drug continues to surprise and exceed expectations” appeared in the Journal of Antibiotics that stated it is “offering more and more promise to help improve global public health by treating a diverse range of diseases, with its unexpected potential as an antibacterial, antiviral and anti-cancer agent being particularly extraordinary. … For most of this century, some 250 million people have been taking it annually … [some] for over 30 years. … re-purposing it to control a completely new range of diseases … is generating interest and excitement in the scientific and global health research communities. … Several problematic reactions have been recorded, but they are generally mild and usually do not necessitate discontinuation of the drug. There is a continuously accumulating body of evidence that ivermectin …. has been shown to exhibit both anti-cancer and anti-cancer stem cell properties.” This article is quite long and includes numerous links to various studies involving ivermectin. Below, I will look at some of these in more detail.

In June 2011, a paper entitled “Anti-inflammatory effects of ivermectin in mouse model of allergic asthma” demonstrated that ivermectin may be “an effective suppressor of inflammation and may be efficacious in the treatment of non-infectious airway inflammatory diseases such as allergic asthma.”

In April 2012, a paper entitled “Ivermectin is a potent inhibitor of flavivirus replication specifically targeting NS3 helicase activity: new prospects for an old drug” reported that ivermectin is “a highly potent inhibitor” of Yellow Fever Virus (YFV). “Moreover, ivermectin inhibited, although less efficiently, the replication of several other flaviviruses, i.e. dengue fever, Japanese encephalitis and tick-borne encephalitis viruses. Ivermectin exerts its effect at a timepoint that coincides with the onset of intracellular viral RNA synthesis.” < I’m no scientist, but that last bit sure sounds like it could kick the ’rona’s viral butt, yeah?

In June 2012, a paper entitled “Ivermectin binding sites in human and invertebrate Cys-loop receptors” reported that ivermectin shows great potential for treating a wide variety of human neurological disorders such as ALS.

In October 2012, a paper entitled “Ivermectin inhibits growth of Chlamydia trachomatis in epithelial cells” demonstrated that ivermectin showed promise for the treatment of sexually-transmitted or ocular infections by Chlamydia.

In July 2016, a paper entitled “The efficacy, safety, and tolerability of ivermectin compared with current topical treatments for the inflammatory lesions of rosacea: a network meta-analysis” reported that a 1% ivermectin cream was the most effective topical treatment for rosacea currently available, “with at least an equivalent safety and tolerability profile.”

In March of 2016, the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology (JDD) published a study entitled “Over 25 Years of Clinical Experience With Ivermectin: An Overview of Safety for an Increasing Number of Indications.” The abstract includes, “For over 25 years, ivermectin has been used to treat parasitic infections in mammals, with a good safety profile. … Numerous studies report low rates of adverse events. … Ivermectin has been used off-label to treat … high margin of safety for a growing number of indications based on its anti-parasitic and anti-inflammatory activities.” [Edited only for clarity]

The current page about ivermectin @ Drugs.com says, “The antiviral activity of Ivermectin has been shown against a wide range of RNA and DNA viruses, for example, dengue, Zika, yellow fever, and others.” Wait, wut? Viruses? Like maybe COVID?

Also, “There is currently insufficient evidence from the COVID-19 Treatment Guidelines Panel to recommend either for or against the use of ivermectin in Covid-19 patients for the treatment of severe or mild COVID-19 symptoms.” IOW, it’s safe, it’s cheap, and a whole lot of doctors say it has helped their patients … but don’t you dare use that horse medicine! Riiiiight.

So, about that horse medicine thing. Yes, ivermectin is commonly used by veterinarians to treat parasite infections in mammals. The big problem I see with the FDA and whoever else is behind demonizing ivermectin for the ‘rona is that ivermectin is available by prescription only for humans. And while it is widely used for other off-label purposes, some states banned pharmacies from dispensing it for COVID and a few hospitals fired doctors for prescribing it. I remember at least one hospital that chose to ignore a court order rather than allow a dying patient to try it.

Meanwhile, the slime media hypes the dangers of the ‘rona way beyond what is real. Some polls showed people believing that anywhere from 5% to 50% of people who catch the virus die from it. The real number is somewhere between 0.15% and 2.1%, but it varies hugely depending on which variant you’re looking at (the original Wuhan was the worst, but it’s extinct now), the age of the patients (the virus is far more lethal to senior citizens) and what comorbidities they have (all of the minors who have died of COVID had serious comorbidities).

Anyway, my point is that the constant fearmongering by the media left some people so frightened that they went to their farm stores and bought OTC ivermectin meant for large animals. Some of them got sick, because the doses are way too high for humans. E.g., depending on the sex and breed, cows can weigh anywhere from 800 lbs. to 3,500 lbs. I’m really sorry that happened, but really … whose fault is it that they were deprived of the right to try and scared out of their wits?!

And, let us not forget that it is common for doctors to prescribe drugs “off-label” – i.e., for purposes that the FDA has not specifically approved. You know those hormones and puberty blockers the Lefties are so fond of? They are not approved for treating gender dysphoria in minors. Meanwhile, studies have shown ivermectin to be effective for COVID.

In June 2020, a study entitled “The FDA-approved drug ivermectin inhibits the replication of SARS-CoV-2 in vitro” reported that ivermectin, which has been “shown to have broad-spectrum anti-viral activity in vitro, is an inhibitor of the causative virus (SARS-CoV-2) … [and] therefore warrants further investigation for possible benefits in humans.”

In December 2020, a study entitled “A five-day course of ivermectin for the treatment of COVID-19 may reduce the duration of illness” reported that “a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial” involving 72 hospitalized patients in Bangladesh found that 12 mg of ivermectin taken once daily for 5 days reduced the course of the disease from 9.7 days as compared with 12.7 days for the placebo group. “There were no severe adverse drug events recorded in the study. A 5-day course of ivermectin was found to be safe and effective in treating adult patients with mild COVID-19. Larger trials will be needed to confirm these preliminary findings.”

In January 2021, a study entitled “Use of Ivermectin Is Associated With Lower Mortality in Hospitalized Patients With Coronavirus Disease 2019: The Ivermectin in COVID Nineteen Study” looked at 280 ‘rona patients, 173 who were treated with ivermectin and 107 who were not. Most patients in both groups also received hydroxychloroquine, azithromycin, or both. Mortality was significantly lower in the ivermectin group, especially in patients with severe pulmonary involvement.

ABORTION DRUG: The Biden administration stated that it “strongly disagrees” with a federal appeals court’s Wednesday ruling that ended mail-order abortion pills and placed other restrictions on the chemical abortion protocols. KJP says FAUXTUS’ DOJ wants to take it to the Supreme Court.

Of course they do. And of course they will. Let’s hope the Supremes pay close attention to the NINETEEN PAGES of prescribing information provided by the drug’s manufacturer (see pdf below). Here are just the highlights of what a woman who gets the drug by mail-order would not have a doctor screening her for or warning her about:

—- WARNING: SERIOUS AND SOMETIMES FATAL INFECTIONS OR BLEEDING —-

  • Before prescribing MIFEPREX, inform the patient about these risks. Ensure the patient knows whom to call and what to do if she experiences sustained fever, severe abdominal pain, prolonged heavy bleeding, or syncope, or if she experiences abdominal pain or discomfort or general malaise for more than 24 hours after taking misoprostol.
  • Advise the patient to take the MEDICATION GUIDE with her if she visits an emergency room or another healthcare provider who did not prescribe MIFEPREX, so that provider knows that she is undergoing a medical abortion.

——————————-CONTRAINDICATIONS—————————–
• Confirmed/suspected ectopic pregnancy or undiagnosed adnexal mass
• Chronic adrenal failure
• Concurrent long-term corticosteroid therapy
• History of allergy to mifepristone, misoprostol, or other prostaglandins
• Hemorrhagic disorders or concurrent anticoagulant therapy
• Inherited porphyria
• Intrauterine device (IUD) in place

——————————ADVERSE REACTIONS——————————
Most common adverse reactions (>15%) are nausea, weakness, fever/chills, vomiting, headache, diarrhea, and dizziness.

DETRANS: CLICK https://www.youtube.com/shorts/AqoOu5cp9SQ to hear a former trannie saying that no step in the transition process is ever enough. She now acknowledges that she has always been a female, but now she is a female with a deep voice, a flat chest, and no female sexual or reproductive parts. In essence, she was allowed to turn herself into a eunuch, something she will have to live with for the rest of her life.

EXORCIST: CLICK https://www.youtube.com/shorts/sOyvGRWZiN0 to hear Fr. Martins explain that your guardian angel was created specifically for you and you alone. I was surprised by this. I always figured after they finished up with one person, they’d be reassigned. This reminds me that I read somewhere else (forget where) that a person who has the gift of seeing guardian angels says they angels resemble us. That convicted me. I have always been dissatisfied with my face, but God gave it not only to me, but also to my angel?! Wow.

HAWAII: New evidence shows that faulty power lines built by Hawaiian Electric may have played a role in causing the Maui wildfire. Executives knew of wildfire risks but chose to focus on developing “renewable energy” programs rather than on prevention. Surviving victims of the tragedy filed suit against Hawaiian Electric this week. The megacompany’s members have donated heavily to Democratic political figures who favor “green” policies.

JOE IS DONE: CLICK https://twitter.com/RealMacReport/status/1692608005307850897 [1:41] to hear Jake Tapper say on CNN “Trump was right” and “Joe Biden was wrong.” They did let some Democrat give lip service to the lie that there is no evidence to tie Joe to Hunter’s business dealings. But still … I don’t believe this segment happened without the PTBs who actually run the Democratic Party putting the word out that they will no longer protect the Bidens.

RACISM: CLICK https://www.youtube.com/shorts/CFeQoqFxyks for a quick reality check from an intelligent, well educated, conservative Black woman.

Uncle Tom’s Cabin (or, Life Among the Lowly) was written by abolitionist Harriet Beecher Stowe in 1852. It was the best-selling novel in the U.S. in the 19th century and the second best-selling of all books, following the Bible. It is credited with helping fuel the abolitionist cause in the 1850s.

GRAMMY NOTES: My girls slept dorm style, so bed time prayers and chat was a special time for us. They learned early on that, if they asked me questions about God, I’d talk and talk and talk. FEAR PORN: The Faux administration and its allies in the media are preparing to reinstate full COVID-19 lockdowns, beginning with masking mandates for TSA and airport employees reportedly as early as mid-September.

Border Patrol whistleblowers were told this rollout will be in tandem with the new Covid variant hysteria that the MSM has been reporting on this week. The new EG.5 coronavirus strain that recently began circulating in the United States and China has been classified by the WHO as a “variant of interest.” This is its lowest classification. The WHO stressed EG.5 does not seem to pose more of a threat to public health than other variants.

But never mind all that. Let’s frighten people some more so we can move on to MORE LOCKDOWNS and MASK MANDATES!

CLASSICALLY CATHOLIC: I am excited about the home school co-op the Mascots will be attending this year. They will go once a week from 9:30am – 1:40pm.  CLICK https://www.classicallycatholicmemory.com/classically-catholic-memory-what-is-ccm-classically-catholic-memory/ if you’re interested in the curriculum. I love this part:

There is definitely a modern educational bias against having children memorize much of anything. This is unfortunate, as mastering a large amount of factual material over a broad range of subjects is exactly what should provide the ‘raw material’ for those higher order thinking skills as children mature. Understanding, analyzing, evaluating, comparing, contrasting, synthesizing, and clearly expressing oneself are certainly critical skills…but if the child has never mastered the core facts of a particular subject, what is there to analyze, or evaluate, or form and express a clear opinion on?”

FAUXTUS: House Oversight Chairman, James Comer, has revealed that, while he was VP, Joe Biden used a pseudonymous email address “Robert.L.Peters@pci.gov” from which he looped in Hunter on official meetings that were none of Hunter’s business.

He also reportedly used “Robin Ware” and “JRB Ware” for other covert communications. Robin probably comes from Joe Robinette Biden’s middle name; JRB is obviously his initials.

Comer is demanding the National Archives release non-redacted records of VP Biden’s pseudonymous email addresses in his talks with Hunter, Devon Archer, and other Biden business associates by August 31.

Coming on top of the entry in Hunter’s sister’s diary about showering with dear old dad, Hunter’s repeated use of “Pedo Peter” makes me wonder if Joe molested him as well.

LIFE: On Wednesday, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals (Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi) issued several ruling regarding the abortion drug mifepristone (a.k.a. RU-486 and Mifeprex), but allowed it to remain authorized by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The court’s ruling ended all mail orders of mifepristone, shortens the time period when women can take the pill from 70 days to 49 days into their pregnancy and requires patients to get a prescription for the drug from a doctor and to have three follow-up appointments in person.

The FDA approved the use of mail order for this dangerous drug back in December of 2021 which it had approved for use in ending early pregnancy in 2000. One Canadian woman reportedly died of sepsis while taking the drug during a clinical trial. By 2005, 4 American women had died of sepsis after taking it. Since then, it is believed at least fourteen women have died.

NORTH DAKOTA: Mohamad Barakat (37 ) was a Syrian national who was given asylum in 2012 and became a U.S. citizen in 2019. On July 14, he fatally shot Fargo Police Officer Jake Wallin (23) and wounded two other Fargo Police Officers, Andrew Dotas (28) and Tyler Hawes (22), as well as a female bystander named Karlee Koswick, and before being killed by FPD Officer Zach Robinson.

CLICK https://twitter.com/HarrisonKrank/status/1692207498411774183 [2:34] to see body cam footage. “Shots fired. Shots fired. We got a man with an AK-47 shooting at us … We’ve got three officers down. … Send everybody.

Authorities found three semi-auto rifles with 53 magazines, four handguns with at least 10 magazines, more than 1,800 .223-caliber bullets, three canisters filled with gasoline, two propane tanks filled with Tannerite, and a hand grenade. He had spray-painted the back windows of his car black so no one could see what he had inside.

Barakat’s search history revealed an interest in mass casualty events, explosive ammo, incendiary rounds, and how to cause certain injuries. The last article that appeared in his browser history was a KVRR article titled “Thousands enjoy first day of Downtown Fargo Street Fair.” At the time of the shooting, there were two large fairs going on in Fargo, the Downtown Fargo Street Fair and the Red River Valley Fair.

Fargo Police Chief David Zibolski said, “It is clear that this individual was a calculated, insidious, murderous individual dead set on hurting and killing as many people as possible. He had the intent, he had the commitment and he had the means.” Authorities said they don’t know why Barakat was planning the attack downtown or why he stopped to shoot at officers. They also said they have no reason to believe there is any on-going threat from other players.

So, have you heard any of this? Me neither. But hey, the Wrongs can’t milk much of anything about this story to feed their favorite narratives. They could use it to argue for more gun control, what with all the fire power Barakat had in his car. But then they’d have to admit a white cop saved a whole lot of people by killing an Arab with terrorist aspirations, which would go against their “All Cops Are Bastards” narrative and their “White Men Are Evil” narrative and their “Arab Men Are All Peace-loving Muslims” narrative.

I googled “mohamad barakat fargo” and got back the following from national news outlets:

  • July 15, 2022 = Breitbart, Newsmax, and CNN, one story each
  • July 16, 17, 19 and August 7, 2022 = Fox News
  • July 20, 2022 = NBC
  • August 17, 2022 = ABC, MSN, AOL after body cam footage was released

WOMEN’S SPORTS: A Wisconsin high school has a trannie on the girl’s volleyball team. He’s been under testosterone suppression therapy for at least a year, but he’s still got his male bone structure and muscle. After getting lots of unusual bruises and welts, several of the girls decided to drop out for fear of sustaining more serious injuries. Last fall, a female volleyballer was slammed in the face by a trans player’s spike and suffered “severe head and neck injuries, resulting in long-term concussion symptoms.” A Wisconsin state rep is advocating for a bill to prevent males from playing on the girls’ teams.

GRAMMY NOTES: I tried to give my nephew my kazoo. His dad was standing nearby and said, “No. Just no.” LOL.

Feast of the Assumption of Mary

The Catholic Church teaches that, while Jesus ascended (took Himself up) into Heaven, His mother, Mary, was assumed (was taken up by God’s power) into Heaven. It is also Catholic teaching that she was assumed “body and soul” – i.e., that she received her perfected and glorified body at that time, so that the body that bore Our Lord was never corrupted. However, there is no teaching about whether she died first.

One of the seers at Medjugorje said that, when she was asked, she said, “No, I did not die.” For this reason, I believe that the Ascension of Jesus is the model and precursor for what will happen to the dead in Christ when He comes again, while the Assumption of Mary is the model and precursor for what will happen to the faithful who are still alive on that great day. The Catholic Church has no teaching whatsoever about the Rapture, but I personally believe that this is what happened to Mary.

2024: CLICK https://twitter.com/bennyjohnson/status/1690884152856326145 [2:13] to hear presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy calmly and coherently present the conservative position on LGBTQ issues. It’s impressive … and very refreshing, especially after hearing that RFK Jr. just flip-flopped on abortion. The coward.

CLIMATE HOAX: William Happer is professor emeritus in physics at Princeton University; Richard Lindzen is professor emeritus of atmospheric science at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Together, they have taken on the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) new rules to cut CO2 emissions. Their evidence shows that these regulations “will be disastrous for the country, for no scientifically justifiable reason.

All of the models that predict catastrophic global warming fail the key test of the scientific method: they grossly overpredict the warming versus actual data. The scientific method proves there is no risk that fossil fuels and carbon dioxide will cause catastrophic warming and extreme weather.”

INFLATION: A new report by Moody Analytics says that Americans are spending $709 more per month on everyday goods and services than they did two years ago. Meanwhile, FAUXTUS has been bragging about how amazing his economic leadership has been. Amazing for who exactly? Our enemies?

IRAN: Last week, FAUXTUS made a deal to free five Americans in exchange for a handful of jailed Iranians. But, wait. Just because Iran hates us and sponsors terrorists, let’s not just stop with a simple prisoner swap! Biden also agreed to unfreeze nearly $6 billion of Iran’s assets in South Korea, transferring the funds to an account in the central bank of Qatar.

Rep. Michael McCaul (R-TX), Chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee said he’s sure the money will be used to finance their “terror operations” and “nuclear bomb aspirations.” Well, duh. But, maybe that was the point.

HAWAII: President Empathy couldn’t even squeeze out a simple, “Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims.” CLICK https://twitter.com/bennyjohnson/status/1691084516314562560 [:10] to hear his “No comment.” I guess we should be grateful he didn’t try to talk about that time his house “almost burned down and killed my wife” which the fire department says was actually a small kitchen fire.

Later, somebody at the WH tweeted for him. “We’re laser-focused on getting aid to survivors, including Critical Needs Assistance: a one-time $700 payment per household offering relief during an unimaginably difficult time. We have staff on the ground dedicated to helping survivors navigate the registration process. we’re giving each household $700! “ Wait, wut? You sent Ukraine BILLIONS, but AMERICANS who just lost everything they own … they get seven hundred dollars. Riiiiight.

In other “Wrongs are self-serving jerks” news … Yesterday, I reported that Oprah Winfrey had put in some time handing out pillows and such to wildfire refugees. It turns out that, while she has donated some cash and supplies, she also brought a CBS film crew to document it. The shelter staff said they would not allow the film crew inside the shelter, so as to protect the privacy of those who so recently lost everything they own. So Oprah had somebody use a phone to get footage of her handing out pillows to victims inside the shelter . CLICK https://twitter.com/nowthisnews/status/1690121663978115077 [:30].

PENNSYLVANIA: Prayers for the victims and survivors of this horrific explosion in the Pittsburgh suburb of Plum. CLICK https://twitter.com/stillgray/status/1690809003138596864 [:34] to see an entire house turn to splinters in about five seconds. Awful!

The explosion and subsequent large fire left three houses destroyed and a dozen more damaged. Five bodies have been recovered. Three people were taken to the hospital; two were treated and released, but one is still in critical condition. It is still unclear what caused the explosion.

PSA: Due to possible listeria contamination, the FDA is recalling green kiwifruit that was shipped between June 14, 2023, and July 7, 2023, then were sold in Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, North Carolina, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

TRANS/DETRANS: Another now-familiar tale of a confused teen being overly influenced by social media, transitioning to male, then deciding she’d made a mistake. The overwhelming support to enter the trans life, then the complete rejection for those who change their minds are so very cult-like. Ditto feminism, which abhors women who choose traditional roles, and abortion, which reviles women who carry to term. The stated goals of each of these Wrong movements is for individuals to be free to choose to follow their most authentic desires. But that’s just window dressing. Their real agenda is for people to embrace sin and reject God.

WHITE HOUSE: I guess KJP got sick of looking like the idiot she is every time this bold, smart journalist asked a probing question. She tried not calling on him for seven months, but then he got really ticked off and outed her, loudly. So when his hard press pass expired, she refused to renew it, citing new “regulations” that, according to Ateba, were designed specifically to exclude him. He’s suing KJP for viewpoint discrimination in violation of the First Amendment.

GRAMMY NOTES: From Mama Buzz – “Heads up parents! Get those parental controls in place. I didn’t even realize I had Prime Video on my phone. Apparently Buzz discovered this and between yesterday and today had rented or purchased movies to a grand total of $286.19!!! I had come over to see what he was getting up to on my phone and he has definitely lost privileges he had been declined a purchase and I checked my bank account b/c I figured either it was declined because I had a pass code set up that he doesn’t know, OR he had made so many purchases, my bank decided it was getting to be highly unusual and stopped allowing them. I am currently on hold with the wonderful customer service people at Amazon. They are slowly but surely deleting and refunding every single one for me. And we both double checked, there weren’t any others before yesterday (plus I would’ve noticed the bank charges) next will be to call my bank and make sure my debit card is active or gets reactivated.

BANKMAN-FRIED: Sam Bankman-Fried, the founder of the collapsed cryptocurrency exchange FTX, has been jailed after a federal judge learned he had attempted to influence witnesses who are poised to testify against him.

CALIFORNICATION: Thugs bum-rushed the Nordstrom store at the Westfield Topanga Mall in Los Angeles, attacking security guards with bear spray and running away with $60K to $100K worth of goods.

CDC: In April, about 1,800 CDC staffers and others attended a COVID-19 conference. The CDC said, “The goals were to learn more about transmission that occurred and add to our understanding as we transition to the next phase of COVID-19 surveillance and response.”

On the last day of the conference, several people notified organizers that they had tested positive for COVID-19. So the CDC and the Georgia Department of Public Health surveyed the attendees. Among the 80% who responded were 183 who said they had tested positive for COVID-19. All of them also said they had been vaccinated.

Of the 1,800 attendees who presumably all had some compelling interest in the coronavirus transmission, surveillance, and respond, 360 did not bother to fill out and return the survey.

Of the 80% who responded to the survey, 601 said that, despite having learned there was an outbreak at the conference, they had not bothered to test themselves for COVID-19. Among these were 34 who reported experiencing COVID-like symptoms.

To add to the idiocy, the survey only asked respondents, “Have you been vaccinated?”, but not when or with which serums.

HAWAII: The wildfires continue to burn on Maui. So far, 93 deaths have been confirmed with hundreds more still missing. The estimate of the property damage is $6 billion, most of it to residential properties.

A number of billionaires own huge estates on Maui. Oprah Winfrey has been handing out pillows and other supplies. And Jeff Bezos has announced that he and his fiancee are setting up a $100 million relief fund. As for the rest, …. ::crickets::

HUNTER: “I was not involved in my son’s business dealings” is the new “I did not have sexual relations with that woman.” Next up: “It depends on what the meaning of is is.”

TRUMP HISTORY: There is a new Twitter account where somebody has inserted The Donald into numerous historical events. Some of them are really well done.

Scientology Stuff

I kinda got lost down a Scientology rabbit hole. What can I say? I think cults are fascinating. So for whatever interest you might have …

Quotations from L. Ron Hubbard’s books and speeches.

  • This is useful knowledge. With it the blind again see, the lame walk, the ill recover, the insane become sane and the sane become saner.
  • Arthritis vanishes, myopia gets better, heart illness decreases, asthma disappears, stomachs function properly and the whole catalog of illnesses goes away and stays away.
  • Leukemia is evidently psychosomatic in origin and at least eight cases of leukemia had been treated successfully by Dianetics after medicine had traditionally given up. The source of leukemia has been reported to be an engram containing the phrase ‘It turns my blood to water.’ Scientology is the only specific (cure) for radiation (atomic bomb) burns.
  • You are only three or four hours from taking your glasses off for keeps.
  • Of all the ills of man which can be successfully processed by Scientology, arthritis ranks near the top. In skilled hands, this ailment, though misunderstood and dreaded in the past, already has begun to become history.
  • Not smoking enough will cause lung cancer!

A huge goal for Scientologists is to achieve the state of “Clear.” The Scientology site says, “Clear is the name of a state achieved through auditing and describes a being who no longer has his own reactive mind, the hidden source of irrational behavior, unreasonable fears, upsets and insecurities. Without a reactive mind, individuals regain their basic personality, self-determinism and, in essence, become much, much more themselves.

The full glory of the state of Clear has no comparable description in any writings existing in our culture. It is a goal Man has dreamed of achieving for more than 2500 years, yet the state of Clear is far above anything anyone even conceived of previously. Indeed, that one could become something far higher and better than a human being, personally and in a single lifetime, is a brand-new concept.

CLICK https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WfF9vGqfrA0 [4:43] to hear a former Scientologist explain what it was like to attain the state of “Clear.”

According to knowledgeable ex-Scientologists, the cult is all about the money. The beginner courses cost around $650 each, then as you go up the “Bridge”, the price per course escalates into the thousands. In addition, you have to cough up $800/hour for auditing and packages of L. Ron Hubbard’s books. A package of books costs, on average, $4,000.

People can easily spend more than $100,000 getting to “Clear.” After that, they move on to the OT “Operating Thetan” levels, which are even more expensive. Mike Rinder, who was once something like #3 in the organization, says people spend literally decades working on OT VII, the second highest level possible. Doing OT VII costs approximately $30,000 — $40,000 per year.

Even if you reach the top level – OT VIII – chances are you’re looking at additional courses and more spending, because they constantly rewrite stuff to force people to buy the latest updates. Unless you leave, of course, but if you do and you don’t keep your mouth firmly shut about Scientology, they will use all their ill-gotten gains to persecute you and your loved ones, stalking, slandering, filing lawsuits, and even poisoning your pets.

As far as I can figure out, the “hidden source” of everyone’s “irrational behavior, unreasonable fears, upsets and insecurities” lie in traumatic events that happened to the “Thetan” that inhabits your “meat body.” One example is the “Ice Cube Incident” in which aliens in flying saucers packed your Thetan in ice and dumped it (your true self) into one of Earth’s oceans. One clue that your Thetan experienced an “Ice Cube Incident” is that you have chronically cold hands and feet. The Wikipedia link below describes other “incidents” that make the “Ice Cube Incident” sound sane by comparison.

CLICK https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06hBaT15g6c [9:05] to hear Scientology’s creation myth. This is the stuff that Scientologists don’t learn until after they’ve spent decades and tens of thousands of dollars immersed in the cult of LRH’s insane sci fi world. It only got out when angry Scientologists braved the cult’s vicious retribution to make it all public.

I try to end my posts with something sweet and/or funny, so special warning here. THIS isn’t that. Pray before you CLICK https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ueO2DfhBFE [1:28:50]. The testimony of this woman who grew up in the cult is deeply disturbing.
