LIFE: Maria Therese and Rachel Clare LeBlanc were born at 32 weeks and lived for one hour. A priest was on hand to baptize the conjoined twins, who shared a single heart. Their mom, Nicole, said, “My girls were loved and held until their final moments and all that they knew their entire lives was love from Austin and I. God designed them so beautifully in my womb and it was an absolute honor and privilege to carry them for as long as I could. Their lives have touched so many and the support my family has received has been nothing short of incredible. Saint Maria Therese & Saint Rachel Clare, ora pro nobis. ANTI-CATHOLIC: A small group of students at the allegedly Catholic Loyola University in Chicago say they resorted to protesting the annual drag show after school administrators refused to cancel it. They also say a group of counter-protesters destroyed their signs, disparaged their faith, and later threatened them with violence on social media.

CANADA: The gobbledygook in the paragraph above is a screenshot from a policy paper published in the Journal of Medical Ethics. It argues that Canada’s Medically Assistance in Dying (MAiD) program be expanded to include people who want to end their lives due to poverty. Their rationale is simple; the Canadian healthcare system is overburdened.

In short, Sarah Palin was right. If we nationalize all healthcare (as Canada has done), then government bean counters will be making our healthcare decisions for us. Offing poor people is a cheap and easy way to free up scarce resources for more desirable, productive taxpayers.

Igor Chudov correctly notes that “nobody, besides quadriplegics, needs MAiD to end their lives. A few feet of rope is all one needs – and there is no requirement to ask for anyone’s permission. The importance of MAiD is that it makes ending one’s life easy, painless, and socially acceptable.

INDIANA:  A 25-year veteran of the Indiana schools is suing after she was fired for saying parents should know when their teenage children are labeled as “transgender” at school. Kathy McCord, who is being represented by Alliance Defending Freedom, said, “It’s terrible what they’re doing to parents. And I really wasn’t ready to retire, so I’d like to go back to work.”

NEW HAMPSHIRE: When a parent emailed her state rep, urging him to pass a parent’s rights bill, the Democrat told her to shut up.

Democratic New Hampshire state Rep. Tommy Hoyt confirmed the authenticity of the message and said he “probably could have used better words.” Translation: “If I cared, I could have been less obvious about my sneering disregard for my constituent and her genuine concerns.

Hoyt’s attitude seems to be Democrat SOP these days. In 2022, the Dem candidate for governor of Virginia said, “I don’t think parents should be telling schools what they should teach.”

NEW YUCK CITY: [2:13] – Like many major Democratic-run metropolitan centers, the Rotten Apple is reaping what it sowed when it refused to prosecute shoplifting. The crippling wave of retail thefts has led to major stores/employers leaving the city and entire aisles being put under lock and key by store owners who stay.

But, wait! The city government has launched “a comprehensive plan to combat retail theft” throughout the boroughs. Billed as “balanced, clear-eyed, impactful,” it promises to “provide real support to our small business owners and commercial corridors, making our city safer and stronger.” Yeah, right. We’ll see.

Not the Bee opines that offering potential thieves greater access to social services won’t do a thing, because thieves are thieves. “They want to steal stuff. They need to stop. Punish them for it and they will.”

As for “training retail workers in de-escalation tactics“, :-P“““““. “Apprehending criminals is the job of police; it’s not the job of hourly workers to ‘de-escalate’ them.” How about just undoing all the damage the Wrongs did to the NYPD?

When Rudy Giuliani was in charge, crime dropped dramatically because, according to Dan Bongino, they aggressively prosecuted minor crimes like shoplifting. Hmm … kinda makes one think about what the store owners in NYC say are their biggest complaint – “repeat offenders.”

SEX vs. GENDER: San Francisco pollsters were disappointed to learn that the majority of voters reject their radical gender ideology. Their conclusion was that the Wrongs need to rebrand puberty blockers with a less-divisive term. They said they would not be making their poll widely available and urged those who saw it not to share. Somebody ignored them.

ADVENT: On May 17, 2023, this larger-than-life bronze sculpture named “Advent” was unveiled and dedicated. Located on the campus of The Catholic University of America’s Theological College in Washington, D.C., it is allegedly depicting the Blessed Virgin Mary pregnant with the Christ Child. According to the Canadian sculptor, Timothy Paul Schmalz, it is meant to be a symbol of beauty, a celebration of new life, and a bold pro-life statement in the nation’s capital.

I find the statue to be incredibly chilling. Instead of a warm, blood-enriched, human womb cradling and nourishing the unborn infant, this statue uses a stainless steel bowl … the same kind of bowl abortionists use to collect “Products of Conception.”

Anti-Catholic

The respect demanded by trannies and drag queens appears to be a one-way street.

Pushback has led to the Los Angeles Dodgers reversing its decision to honor the “Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence” with a “Community Hero Award” at an upcoming event “Pride” event. This anti-Catholic hate group specializes in mocking the values and teachings of the Roman Catholic Church.

At Nunway 11, these men who dress in lewd imitation of Roman Catholic nuns appeared at the Saint Joseph’s Arts Society. N.b., this art society is merely housed in an old Catholic Church; it is not affiliated with the RCC. I’m guessing the real St. Joseph is appalled to have his named associated with the blasphemies that go on there.

Go and sin some more”, the motto of the “Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence” is a perversion of Jesus’s command to the woman caught in adultery. One of the auction categories at will be “reliquaries” made by a local artist, which appear to just be gaudy jewelry pieces. If you’ve been following me for long, you’ll know that real reliquaries are sealed containers for displaying relics of saints, something that Christians from the very earliest days revered.

Blasphemy

The Roman Catholic Church of St. Paul the Apostle in Manhattan installed a three-painting collection beside a side altar, entitled “God is Trans: A Queer Spiritual Journey” by Adah Unachukwu.

Catholic Vote wrote, “The Church of Saint Paul the Apostle is highly controversial, especially for its ‘LGBTQ Ministry,’ called ‘Out at St. Paul.’ The group is known for mixing sacred seasons and symbols with the profane to advance the LGBTQ movement. Out at St. Paul once posted a traditional painting of the Three Wise Men asleep together along with the suggestive text ‘Queer Epiphany: Three Kings or Three Queens?’ The group has also posted an image of the radical ‘gay rights’ activist and politician Harvey Milk depicted with a halo, along with the headline ‘Harvey Milk, Pray for Us.’ Milk infamously had a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old runaway boy, who committed suicide after their encounter.”

The “God is Trans” so-called “art”* exhibit is displayed beside next one of the side altars in the basilica-style sanctuary. The Archdiocese of New York says it is investigating the exhibit, which they only learned about after the New York Post reported on it. “We had no knowledge of it beforehand. If media reports are accurate, then we would have concerns. We are investigating and looking to speak with the pastor of the parish to get more information.” This kinda begs the question, “Where have they been all this time this church has been pandering to public sinners?

St. Paul’s special ministry to the sexually deviant hosts events and activities aimed allegedly at enriching “the spiritual and intellectual needs of LGBTQ+ Catholics.” I saw no sign at either of their websites that they bother themselves with Catholic teaching on the sinfulness of these lifestyles. And since they have apparently taken a razor blade to all the passages in the Bible that call sinners to repentance, one has to wonder which of the Seven Deadly Sins they’ll pander to next? How about a ministry to ensure that all “minor attracted persons feel good about molesting minors? Maybe they should start a support group for abortion providers and their patients who are proud to shout their abortions?

In June of 2019, the Congregation for Catholic Education published a Vatican document on gender called, “Male and Female He Created Them: Towards a path of dialogue on the question of gender theory in education.

Intended as a guide for Catholics in the ongoing debate about human sexuality and gender ideology, the document reinforces Catholic teaching that God created only two genders, that He doesn’t make mistakes, that He ordained sexual relations be limited to one male and one female who are joined in holy matrimony for the purposes of procreating and raising a family.

The document also stresses the primary rights and duties of parents with regard to the education of their children — rights and duties which cannot be delegated or usurped by others. It also notes that children have the right to a mother and a father, and that it is within the family that children can learn to recognize the beauty of sexual difference.

And finally, it reiterates the standard “love the sinner, hate the sin” message that Jesus preached, saying that there “is the need to educate children and young people to respect every person in their particularity and difference, so that no one should suffer bullying, violence, insults or unjust discrimination based on their specific characteristics (such as special needs, race, religion, sexual tendencies, etc.).

Last week, Pope Francis called gender ideology “one of the most dangerous [ideologies] … because it blurs differences and the value of men and women. The question of gender is diluting the differences and making the world the same, all dull, all alike, and that is contrary to the human vocation.

It also appears to be diluting Catholic teaching into oblivion. For example, the artist’s statement about the first painting includes, “There is no devil; just past selves.” But The Catechism of the Catholic Church makes it clear that the Satan (aka, the devil) cannot be reduced to a mere symbol of evil. “He is a personal being, a fallen angel, who is at the same time not an evil god, but a creature who is neither infinite nor omniscient.” – Crossroads Initiative, Catechism of the Catholic Church

The second painting is equally problematic, asking as it does “What does your god look like to you?” For Christians (and Catholics are Christians!), the answer is simply, “Jesus.” Not so for the blasphemous God is Trans crowd at St. Paul’s. The imagery I found was largely Buddhist, with a possible foray into suggesting that the Blessed Mother is a god(dess), which is also blasphemy.

The Guardian King – The pose in the painting “Identity” appears to refer to one of the four Guardian Kings, which are understood to be manifestations of the Great Sun Buddha.

Abhaya with Eye – The right hand held at shoulder level with the fingers pointing upward and the palm facing forward – is a Buddhist “mudra” (symbolic gesture) of blessing or protection. Attributed to the Buddha immediately following his enlightenment, the Abhaya is usually intended as a gesture of reassurance. The single opened eye seems to refer to Dharma, something that appears to be important in both Hinduism and Buddhism. It’s got something to do with achieving a deep understanding of one’s innate divinity. Put together in a painting called “Identity”, it seems to mean the artist’s god blesses his desire to understand his own godhood. Or something.

Halo – A disk of light that surrounds a person in art has been used in the iconography of many religions to indicate holiness, which fits with the Buddhist “everybody is a god” thing.

But, while I used every search term I could think of to find any meaning behind the red, orange, and yellow, 12-striped starburst behind the halo, the only thing I found was a reference to “depictions of the Immaculate Conception. This type of halo refers to the to the description of the Virgin being crowned with twelve stars (Revelation 12:1).” (I’m not even going to go there.)

A color symbolism site said that red is the color of action, strength, energy, and passion; orange is the color of emotion, youth, optimism, and enthusiasm; and yellow is the color of happiness, optimism, positivity, and intellect.

As for the third painting, yikes. I can’t even begin to wonder. I couldn’t even find a good, clear image of the painting to study. The only half thought I had was that the light bursts are some reference to the Light of Dharma.

Grooming Our Kids

My niece is an educator and a mom. She told me that her mentors say that kids shouldn’t be exposed to sexual material until they are old enough to be having sexual feelings. Makes sense to me. Not only are these school and public libraries making pornographic materials readily available to kids who aren’t ready, but the books they choose all seem to push the immoral message that any kind of sex (auto, homo, hetero) is A-OK, cuz it’s just about having fun.

The following school board clips were all posted within the past two weeks. They are not the only ones I saw, but I decided to stick to one per state.

CALIFORNIA: Redlands Unified School District is near San Bernardino, east of Los Angeles [3:36] – What she says about her daughter breaks my heart. As for the book she tries to read from … it is so blatantly pornographic that I was offended. The board stopped her, because it was “inappropriate” for her to read at an open meeting. But it’s on the shelves of the public school’s library and she and others have been trying for months, without success, to get rid of it. I found an online pdf version of the book, Push, at the link below. If you’ve got a good quantity of eye bleach, I recommend you at least skim the first few pages. Personally, I can see this being useful for college students studying for certification as social workers or clinical psychologists. But as casual reading for high school students? Why?

MICHIGAN: “Let’s Talk About It” is a sexually explicit, graphic novel recommended for ages 14-17, kids who are prime candidates for adult groomers. [4:42] – A one-star reviewer on Amazon wrote that the book never suggests talking to parents about these issues, but recommends instead researching fantasies and kinks on the internet and going to porn sites for a “sugary treat,” while never warning about predators who want to molest or do violence to vulnerable minors.

Note that it was YouTube that slapped the age restriction on this video, not the poster. If you watch all the videos, you’ll note that the speaker did not read any explicit text, which speakers did in the other videos that did not get age restricted. So was it the speaker’s accusing the people who make these books available of offending God and/or offering to pray for their repentance and conversion that got YouTube’s “community standards” police panties in a bunch? I’m inclined to think so.

MOMS FOR LIBERTY: CLICK https://www.facebook.com/reel/655249503080478/ to hear an excerpt from “My Body is Growing”, which is recommended for ages 4 to 8.

NORTH CAROLINA: “Shine” is recommended for ages 13 and up. [3:07] – Reviews of this book say it bashes inhabitants of small towns as rapists and drug users.

TENNESSEE: [3:38] – At Amazon, a one star reviewer of “It’s Perfectly Normal: Changing Bodies, Growing Up, Sex, Gender, and Sexual Health” wrote that the book presents hetero- and homo-sex as if they are a platter people can try out and posted the following illustration from the book. She also wrote that the book talks about how “sex happens when 2 people are attracted to each other and they MAY have loving feelings for each other.” It’s recommended for ten and up.

Unfit to Serve

TEN WEEK ABSENCE: On Tuesday, May 9, 2023, Democrat Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) returned from a ten-week absence due to shingles.

On Tuesday, May 16, 2023, a reporter asked her if her colleagues had welcomed her back after her absence. She replied, “I haven’t been gone. I’ve been working.”

The reporter attempted to clarify, asking, “You’ve been working from home is what you’re saying?

Feinstein said, “No, I’ve been here. I’ve been voting. Please, either know or don’t know,” bringing the interview to an abrupt end.

Feinstein will turn 90 on June 22, 2023.

NINE WEEK ABSENCE: John Fetterman suffered a stroke on May 13; a few days later, he had a pacemaker with a defibrillator installed. His senatorial campaign apparatus claimed he suffered no cognitive damage, but after he returned to the campaign trail, it became painfully obvious that this was a lie. Nevertheless, anyone who questioned his ability to serve was shouted down as a dirty “able-ist” and the voters of Pennsylvania (allegedly) handed him a Senate seat. (N.b., Pennsylvania is renowned for having a Demo-corrupt election machine.) So far as I know, they never did explain the neck lump that they tried to hide with hoodies and absurd collars.

On January 3, 2023, Fetterman took office. On February 10, he was hospitalized for two days for syncope (lightheadedness), then just two days after he was released, he checked himself into Walter Reed’s psych unit for severe depression. Until he returned to work on April 17, he lived at and worked from the hospital, going to far as to co-sponsor a bill. Following his nine-week absence, he has repeatedly demonstrated signs of cognitive dysfunction.

CLICK https://twitter.com/CollinRugg/status/1658520911044292608 [1:39] to hear Stroke Boy fumble through a Senate hearing. “Is. Is it staggering? Is it a staggering a res uh responsibility that ju that a head of a bank could literally could literally crash our economy? It’s astonishing. That’s like if you have I mean like uh uh and and they also realizes that that that now they have it’s in-, in- guaranteed, a guaranteed way to be saved again by a no matter, by no mat, by, by how? You know, so it’s, it’s, you know isn’t it appropriate that the uh that those kind of controls should be were stricter? To prevent this kind of thing from willing? Or should we just go on start bailing and sailing whoever bank regardless of how, how raaaare rare theirs their conduct is? Who you know I’ll give you an example. Uh, the republicans want to give a work requirement for SNAP. You know for a uh uh uh uh a hungry family has to have these this kind of penalties or these some kinds of wooooord or working uh require shouldn’t you have some kind of working required suu after we sail your bank uh billions of your bank? Because you seem we were preoccupied uh when uh then SNAP uh requirements for works for uh hungry people but not about pro, protecting the tax, tax papers you know that will bail them out of whatever does about a bank to crash it. ::shrugs::

Dems commenting on the clip claimed Fetterman was easy to understand and that anyone who feels he is unfit for office is a disgusting ableist. But a Washington Post jerknalist apparently felt he had not been easy to understand and reported the response as shown above. Note, he was lambasted for lying and deleted the post … but not before somebody took a screenshot of it.

I recall these same people screaming for Trump to be removed from office for mental health reasons. When I googled, the following news items popped.

Sept. 8, 2017: Vice – Trump’s Brain and the 25th Amendment: Eight experts gathered to discuss POTUS’s mental situation.”

Oct. 16, 2017: New Yorker – A group called Duty to Warn claims that President Trump should be removed via the 25th Amendment because he allegedly “suffers from an incurable malignant narcissism that makes him incapable of carrying out his presidential duties and poses a danger to the nation. … On Saturday, the organization held coördinated kickoff events in fourteen cities, where mental-health experts spoke out about Trump’s dangerousness and, in several, took to the streets in organized funereal marches, complete with drum corps.”

Oct. 18, 2017: NBC – “The 25th Amendment Proves Why Trump’s Mental Health Matters

Is America today in need of an unprecedented constitutional intervention?

Jan. 3, 2018: Politico – “Lawmakers concerned about President Donald Trump’s mental state summoned Yale University psychiatry professor Dr. Bandy X. Lee to Capitol Hill last month for two days of briefings about his recent behavior. … Her professional warning to Capitol Hill: ‘He’s going to unravel, and we are seeing the signs.”

Feb 18, 2019: Vox – “If the vice president and the Cabinet conclude a president is unwell, they can legally do something about it.”

Oct. 7, 2020: Psychology Today – Brian Kalt, the legal scholar and author of Unable, said he thinks “a COVID-induced delirium, in which the president is grossly disoriented and loses touch with reality would likely be a valid basis for invoking the amendment” The article also suggested that Trump could be suffering from dementia or mania that could lead him to order a nuclear strike.

Nov. 20, 2020: USA Today – “Trump history and behavior suggest destructive mental processes that put America at risk.

Jan. 7, 2021: NPR – Invoking the 24th Amendment to get rid of Trump has been “a frequent topic throughout the Trump presidency.”

Jan. 8, 2021: Newsweek – “A team of Washington, D.C.-licensed psychiatrists and the president of an organization of mental health professionals … are submitting documents to Congress calling for the commander-in-chief to be psychiatrically assessed.”

The Durham Report

Special Counsel John Durham’s 3-year investigation has finally concluded. You can access it here:

In short, the report says the Wrongs knowingly conspired to obstruct Trump’s Presidency and then attempted to get him removed from office. Nooooooooooooo … really?

Durham concluded that the FBI failed to uphold its “important mission of strict fidelity to the law”, but did not recommend any changes, but rather a renewed fidelity to the guidelines and policies that are already in place.

Prominent legal scholar Alan Dershowitz said, “I think it reveals that Americans are right to distrust the government—even civil servants people in the government. … These people should have known better. And they didn’t use their intelligence. They didn’t use their thoughtfulness, because they were so determined to get Trump, they were prepared to sign on to something which they never would have signed on to, had the shoe been on the other foot.”
