CATHOLIC: A recent statement by Pope Francis says that faith alone is sufficient for someone to worthily receive the Eucharist. This view was condemned by the Council of Trent as heretical. The proclamations of an ecumenical council like Trent trump an Apostolic Letter like what Francis spewed.

The heresy is bad enough, but the pontiff also went and issued his letter on June 29, 2022, the same damn day he cheerfully gave Holy Eucharist to the unrepentant CINO, Nancy Pelosi, champion of baby slaughter and sexual perversion. It really bugs me how often this man feels compelled to poke his fingers into the eyes of devout, conservative Catholics. May God have mercy on his soul.

FBI: Since the overturning of Roe v. Wade was leaked, more than 20 Catholic churches and Crisis Pregnancy Centers have been attacked by pro-aborts. The FBI has yet to make a single arrest.

ILLINOIS: When I first saw this headline, I thought it was Babylon Bee. But no. Gov. Pritzker seriously issued an emergency disaster proclamation and sent 75 members of the state National Guard because Texas sent a few hundred illegals to his state.

MONTANA: The Montana Department of Public Health & Human Services (MPHHS) has formally adopted a rule to permit only biological sex at birth to be recorded on official birth records.

PLANNED PARENTHOOD: The 2021 annual report shows that, while the number of patients went down by 10%, the number of abortions went up by 8.5%, reaching a record high of 383,460 (41% of all U.S. abortions).

Nearly all other services PP provides were down from the previous year, including breast care (-55%), well-woman tests (-39%), cancer screenings (-30%), STI tests (-17.4%), and pregnancy tests (-14%).

Despite having been caught trafficking aborted baby parts, covering up sex abuse of minors, encouraging sex-selective abortions, and accepting money to kill Black babies, they remain open and funded to the tune of $1.7 million per day from taxpayers. Total net assets (2021) = $2.5 billion.

PLURALISM: Pope Francis signed a document produced by the 7th Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Kazakhstan that appears to have contained a statement contrary to Catholic teaching. In a very peculiar move, the paragraph was altered after it was publicized and signed by the pontiff. The revision brings it more in line with RCC doctrine.

Paragraph 10 of the document originally read: “We note that pluralism and differences in religion, skin color, gender, race and language are expressions of the wisdom of God’s will in creation. Thus any incident of coercion to a particular religion and religious doctrine is unacceptable.” (Emphasis in original)

Paragraph 10 now says: “We note that pluralism in terms of differences in skin color, gender, race, language and culture are expressions of the wisdom of God in creation. Religious diversity is permitted by God and, therefore, any coercion to a particular religion and religious doctrine is unacceptable.” (Emphasis in original)

VAXXX: Patients were thrown off transplant lists for refusing to get the jab. I remember one who was tossed off because a relative refused it! Now, transplant recipients who got the damn poison are rejecting their new organs.

If giving a handful of people bus or plane rides to sanctuary cities finally shames our elites into doing their jobs and securing the border, the net gain to human health and safety on both sides of that border will be worthy of a Nobel Prize.

I know you open-borders loons try very, very hard not to think about how people are actually getting across the border, and what the gangsters who run human smuggling operations do to them, but reality doesn’t go away because you refuse to believe in it.

As the caterwauling of incompetent blue-state governments proves, reduced to quivering lumps of impotent hatred by the number of migrants border states absorb every hour of every day, the human cost on this side of the border is also far higher than Open Borders pretends.

How can anyone pretend to have any sort of moral superiority when they support a lawless “system” that lures millions of people into risking their lives, the lives of their children, and what little money they have – just for a chance to play what amounts to a game?

Rape and indenture, outright slavery, murderous gang operatives smuggled across the border, killer drugs – none of THAT bothers you in the slightest, not one tiny little bit, but you’ll melt down over a handful of people taking a plane to Martha’s Vineyard?

And before you try sputtering that of COURSE you have a problem with cartels abusing migrants or people dying in the desert, just save your spittle. No, you don’t, because you never said a damn word about it before – and even now, you won’t DO anything about it.

Even now, you’re trying to STOP the only people who actually are trying to end that rolling humanitarian catastrophe by securing the border. You’re impeding the only effort that has a snowball’s chance in hell of making a difference. You’re protecting the cartels’ business model.

And please, spare us your Deep Thoughts about whether moving migrants around the country is somehow “illegal” or “immoral.” Joe Biden does it every day, and if you keep pushing this idiotic talking point, you’ll be drowned in the sea of receipts to prove it.

The entire point of “sanctuary cities,” the bluff a few brave governors are calling, is nothing less than open defiance of the rule of law. The whole point was for a few elites to spit in the face of law, subvert democracy, and nullify the will of the vast majority of the people.

There is a vast difference between a corrupt, lawless, crime-infested, physically dangerous open borders charade, and even the most generous of rational immigration and asylum systems. Only the most scurrilous liar would attempt to conflate them.

Secure the border, shut down the cartel operations, switch off the magnets that draw millions into dangerous schemes to break our laws – and then you may begin the far more difficult and HONEST work of convincing the American people to approve high levels of immigration.

Until then, your attempts to claim the ethical high ground are beneath contempt. You support a system that kills and abuses countless people, both foreigners and citizens. You don’t give a damn about any migrant who isn’t in front of a camera, embarrassing a Democrat.

Hypocrisy! Part 2

Imagine 50 immigrants show up in your town. Your town decides to help them. Within an hour there is a plan. You go to take them to their temporary housing, but now there are 100. So you call to make sure the plans will work for 100. It’s confirmed. So you go back for the 100, but there are now 150. You decide there’s not much difference between 100 and 150 so you decide to move them all and let others figure out what do. You move all of them and return to find 50 more.

By the time you figure out what to do with them, 50 more arrive. Now the housing is at capacity. So, you come up with a new plan, but wait, there are 50 more. Now you’ve moved those 100 only to return to 50 more. But that housing was full. Now housing is hard to find. By the time you figure it out 50 more have arrived. Then 50 more. Then 50 more. Then 50 more. Then 50 more. 50 more every hour of every day. Welcome to Eagle Pass, TX or Del Rio, TX or Brownsville, TX.

Martha’s Vineyard cheers and supports this. But when 50 show up one time in Martha’s Vineyard, it’s a national emergency and the DOJ needs to investigate and NIMBY and liberal tears about the mistreatment of immigrants while they didn’t care that 50 were killed when they were left locked in a tractor-trailer. That’s your Democratic Party, it’s policies, and it’s hypocrisy.

Trump implemented the remain in Mexico policy for migrants seeking asylum in the US. Instead of the migrants being admitted into the US while they wait years for an asylum hearing, migrants were to remain in Mexico until being formally granted asylum.

This policy served a couple purposes. First it relieved pressure from a constant flood of migrants into the US. Second it allowed the US to conduct background checks on migrants to make sure they aren’t dangerous criminals or terrorists.

Biden fought all the way to SCOTUS to end the remain in Mexico policy, and he was successful. Now migrants are legally admitted to the US, and they are allowed to legally remain in the US. This is a very important fact which I’ll discuss shortly.

Democrats and liberals everywhere fully support Biden’s policy. Anything less than free admittance, and AOC and a bunch of cackling liberals show up to take pictures of them crying about an empty parking lot. The result is that migrants are flooding Biden’s open border. In the first 10 months of FY 2022, Border Patrol in Dem Rio, TX has apprehended 376,000 migrants with an average of 1,774 per day and 74 per hour.

That’s one entry point. Do Democrats do anything to help Del Rio? No, they do nothing. In fact, the only thing they do is oppose any proposals to stem the flow. Anyone that proposes anything is called racist. Democrats block all legislation to provide relief to Texas. 74 per hour every day of every month these past 10 months. Any desire that Del Rio has or had to help migrants is long gone. They have no resources to provide food, shelter, and clothing. And Democrats cheer. They virtue-signal. They declare themselves sanctuaries for illegal aliens, well knowing they are so far removed from the border that they would never have to.

In the last year, Texas, Arizona, and now Florida have sent less than 10,000 migrants to the sanctuary cities of NYC, Washington DC, and Chicago. That’s how many enter Del Rio in 5.6 days or 135 hours. Every 5.6 days. Every 135 hours. Nonstop. We don’t know, because the liberal press doesn’t report any more than the immigrants arriving as Democrats weep and wail, demanding the federal government come in and deal with what Del Rio deals with every 5.6 days.

Now, liberals in their never-ending desire to dehumanize conservatives have taken to comparing Abbott and DeSantis to Hitler for loading up migrants against their will and sending them to places with false promises. They demand Abbott & DeSantis be prosecuted under 8 USC 1324.

However, once again their ignorance is marked. Here is the pertinent subsection under which Dems demand prosecution for transporting illegal aliens. I’ll draw your attention to the definition of who it is illegal to transport. It’s illegal to transport an alien who “come to, entered, or remains in the United States in violation of law.”

Remember earlier in the thread when I mentioned that Biden has allowed them to legally enter the US and remain. This is why that is important to understand. This statute does not proscribe transporting these migrants, no matter how much Dems want that to be true.

Let’s go back to Martha’s Vineyard. What did they do with the 50 migrants? They called in the National Guard to load the migrants up and move them to a military base. Are Dems demanding the prosecution of whoever is responsible for that? Of course not b/c they are hypocrites.

Dems are also demanding investigation into the “wasting” of taxpayer funds to transport migrants to Northeastern liberal meccas. This too demonstrates the marked ignorance of Dems regarding the costs of migrants entering under Biden. Let’s assume a bus from Texas costs the state of Texas $50,000 to transport 50 migrants. That is a pittance compared to public assistance for these migrants, public schooling of the children, and all of the other needs that localities have to provide. 5-10 years of public assistance for these families would cost the state of Texas far more than $50,000 for those 50 individuals.

At the end of the day, Abbott and DeSantis have done more to expose Democrat hypocrisy and ignorance than we’ve seen in the past 50 years.

Martha’s Vineyard proves that all of the virtue-signaling bluster by rich white Dems is just that—bluster. When given the opportunity to care for migrants in their insulated community, they ship the migrants away ASAP. Probably because the migrants didn’t bring leaf blowers. Even worse, the rich white Dems started a GoFundMe to reimburse their community “organizations” that helped migrants. We were told there are no organizations available to care for migrants there. Does that mean they are reimbursing their rich selves?

The New York Times says the organizer, Sarah Goulet, is a privileged white kid, Ivy League grad, and New York comms exec who donated 6x to Kamala Harris. Her wedding on Martha’s Vineyard was at her family’s $1.6 million+ home that sits near a private association beach.

The GoFundMe donations are going to Martha’s Vineyard Community Foundation, which has assets under management of $14 million+. MVCF is also seeking money via a Migrant Relief Fund since residents are “concerned about the well being of the migrants…on our Island.” Wait … shouldn’t that read “who are no longer on our Island”?

UPDATE: Since the Martha’s Vineyard migrants were sent to Cape Cod, the island’s GoFundMe is STILL taking donations for “building up a reserve to assist situations like this in the future, rather than directly helping this group of migrants and their situation.”

I was going to name this, “Sanctuary! Sanctuary!”, like Quasimodo ringing the bell. This title is more accurate.

Gov. DeSantis says, “We’re not a sanctuary state… What would be the best is for Biden to do his damn job and secure the border!” The bleeding hearts condemning these shipments as “political” need to look in their mirrors. The open border is totally about politics!

FAUXTUS strongly condemned Republican border state governors sending illegals to Democrat-run cities. “Republicans are playing politics with human beings, using them as props. What they’re doing is simply wrong. It’s un-American. It’s reckless.” Sooooo … not at all like opening the border and expecting other people to deal with the tsunami of homeless illegals?

In 2020, Martha’s Vineyard’s voters went 84% for Biden. Also in Martha’s Vineyard, residents admitted privately and off camera that they don’t want those people on their island. One guy said, “They don’t want to speak on-camera, either because they don’t want to be depicted as inhumane.”

Martha’s Vineyard hilariously declared the situation a “Humanitarian Crisis” and demanded federal aid. American border communities deal with 125 times that number every damn day and the Dems just sneer at them.

Martha’s Vineyard Democrats don’t seem very welcoming. “We don’t have housing for 50 people.” Wait, wut? Don’t the Obama’s have a 10-bedroom mansion they’re not even using? You could probably fit all of them in there! I mean, we know how very compassionate that family is towards the less fortunate, particularly when they are potential Democrat voters.

Dem Tweeters are self-righteously tweeting video of islanders feeding the illegals with snarky comments about how the people who have been dealing with thousands of these people every damn day don’t know what Christianity looks like. Yeah, no. They were there for ONE NIGHT; on Day 2, the “compassionate” Dems deported them to Cape Cod.

BIDEN ECONOMY: They’re busy bragging on their economic policies, but between 2021 and 2023, Dems added $4.8 trillion to national deficits. As for the supposedly awesome job increases, economists say the 5.8 million jobs they claimed were recovered in the last year included roughly 1.3 million jobs that were double counted. That brings the real number of jobs recovered, not created, down to 4.5 million … out of 22 million that the pandemic lockdowns destroyed.

DEMOCRAT: Remember when Sarah Palin’s “Congressional Targets” map was blamed for Gabby Giffords’ shooting? This despite the fact that the shooter was a Democrat who had worked for Giffords’ campaign.

EMMY AWARDS: This year’s Emmy show had the lowest viewership numbers in its history with just 5.9 viewers. “In all honesty, this shouldn’t be a surprise. … They have become multi-hour broadcasts where rich, woke celebrities offer lectures on how they are better because of how frequently they virtue-signal.” – John Simmons

MARTHA’S VINEYARD: Turnabout is fair play. [9:51] – Florida sent two planes of illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard. DeSantis’ communications director told media outlets, “States like Massachusetts, New York, and California will better facilitate the care of these individuals who they have invited into our country by incentivizing illegal immigration through their designation as ‘sanctuary states’ and support for the Biden administration’s open border policies.”

MIDTERMS: The approval/disapproval/net for the sitting president has a big impact on midterm elections. Usually, presidents aren’t terribly popular after two years and their parties take a drubbing, but in 2002, when Bush (R) had a net approval of +38.0, Republicans gained 8 seats in the House and 1 in the Senate, for a net gain of 9 seats.

Since Biden’s approval, disapproval, and net numbers are among the worst ever, I thought it would be interesting to compare the midterm results for some of the presidents who were the actual worst evers. (You can see all the stats at the links below.)

  • In 1978, when Carter (D) had an approval rating only slightly lower than Biden’s, Dems lost 15 seats in the House and 3 in the Senate, for a net loss of 18 seats.
  • In 2018, when Trump (R) had a disapproval rating only slightly lower than Biden’s, Dems gained 41 seats in the House, but lost 2 in the Senate, for a net gain of 39 seats.
  • In 1946, when Truman (D) had a net approval nearly twice as low as Biden’s, Dems lost a whopping 57 seats in Congress.

Even worse for the Dem’s midterm chances is that the Progressives steering the party are totally out of touch with their own base. A Dem polling group asked 60,000 of their own voters what matters to them. The results were good paying jobs and encouraging people to take care of their families. Dem voters are not buying that the Biden economy is booming and they also don’t resonate with the demonization of the super-rich or the canonization of government dependency.

CLIMATE: Last May, forecasters at NOAA predicted “above-average hurricane activity this year.” Instead, storm activity is half the normal amount. “Seasonal forecasting is still a developing science. While it is typically more right than wrong, predicting specific weather patterns such as hurricanes months in advance is far from an established science,” says Eric Berger at Ars Technica. Hmm … how much less accurate do you suppose even more long term forecasts about climate are likely to be?

The study claims to have shown that the risk of heart inflammation from the virus is greater than from the vaxxx, but the Epoch Times noted, “There was no control group of unvaccinated people, the study was limited to the 28 days following vaccination, and the conclusion did not hold for all ages or all of the vaccines. For males under 40, the risk of myocarditis after a second dose of the Moderna vaccine was almost four times higher than the risk of myocarditis after a SARS-CoV2 infection.”

One of the documents they’ve produced demands that the Roman Catholic Church reverse her traditional teaching on homosexual acts to assert they are “not a sin that separates from God, and it is not to be judged as intrinsically evil.” Another calls on Pope Francis to allow females to be ordained to the RCC priesthood.

HOCHUL: [pron. HOH-kull] – Digital Gadgets raked in $637 million of NY taxpayers’ money for ‘rona test kits that sold for half that much elsewhere. The CEO of Digital Gadgets and his family members donated $300,000 to NY Gov. Hochul’s campaign, including $70,000 right before Hochul sealed the COVID test kit deal. IOW, they invested $300K and got back $318 Million! Hochul says she doesn’t know anything about it. State Republican Party Chair Nick Langworthy says he plans to file a Freedom of Information Act request to look into that claim.

INSURRECTION: Democrat congressman Vicente Gonzalez has joined Al Gore, Hillary Clinton, Stacey Abrams, and a host of others in saying Mayra Flores stole her 34th Texas Congressional District seat. Democrats have declared that anyone who questions the results of an election is a filthy traitor … unless it’s about a Democrat who lost to a Republican, then you’re just being totes patriotic!

VAXXX: Nearly a million children in America have been Moderna/Pfizer jabbed while the CDC monitored the results.

About half of babies and toddlers experienced systemic reactions – i.e., outside the vaccination area. These included things like fever, irritability, crying, and excessive sleepiness. Seven to sixteen percent got sick enough that they couldn’t follow their normal routine and/or their parents sought medical intervention for them.

The head of the CDC’s vaccine safety team says there’s no cause for concern, which seems odd given that the COVID vaccines seem to cause 15 times more adverse reactions than any other routine pediatric immunization.

COVID-19 Update: More vaxxx data

A newly published study tracked ‘rona infection and reinfection among 887,193 children, ages 5 to 11, between March 11, 2020, and June 3, 2022. The subjects were organized by vaxxx status and infection/reinfection rates and dates. In the conclusions, the researchers, good little sheep that they are, admitted that while the vaxxx protected for a while, the effect waned, thus, we should totes booster the kiddies.

If you just look at infections, hospitalizations, and deaths, it looks like vaxxxing halves a kid’s chances of catching the ‘rona (for as long as its effective) and greatly reduces the chances of hospitalization.

However, the study’s conclusion ignored the damage the jabs do to natural immunity. By the end of the study, the unvaxxxed who had recovered from the ‘rona and remained unjabbed enjoyed more than 50% protection, while both the previously infected and the never infected who got jabbed were at minus 20%! To me, it looks like the jabs not only erased the natural immunity acquired from recovering from the ‘rona, but also damaged the kids’ immune systems. I mean … look at Chart B below. Doesn’t it look like both groups of jabbed kids were worse off at the end than they were at the beginning?

Now, I’m sure this study pleased Pfizer and its lapdogs at the FDA, but it only looked at efficacy. Parents can hardly do a risk/benefit analysis without seeing the risk side! At the CDC, I found a report about adverse events in 41,232 children (5-11) during the first week following doses 1 and 2. Of these, about 4K sought medical care for symptoms that included fever, vomiting, chest pain, and seizures. Of these 4K, about 12% showed an increase in C-reactive protein (a sign of inflammation) and/or an increase in troponin (a sign of heart damage), 10% ended up in the ICU, and 2 (both with serious co-morbidities) died. If I did the math right, the jabs themselves put kids at ten times more risk than catching the ‘rona did.

Add to this the fact that the CDC report covered only one week following the jab; we’ve all heard stories about kids who died in their sleep or dropped dead during gym class or are now disabled with myocarditis, etc. Now, add to all that the fact that seven to eight percent of the kids who got vaxxxed still caught the ‘rona, and that, of these, 0.007% of them required hospitalization, and that the benefits of the vaxxx wore off within months, leaving the kids with weaker immune systems than they’d had before! How the aitch ee double hockey sticks does anyone justify saying we should jab kids!?!?!

FDA: The drug regulators who allegedly work for us and who helped shove vaxxx mandates on us are refusing to provide the analyses they performed to determine that the ‘rona jabs were allegedly safe. Kinda makes one wonder what they’re hiding.

FLORIDA: A seven-day, multi-agency sex crimes sting operation in central Florida rounded up a pile of drugs plus 160 perps, including a deputy chief of police, a Disney employee, three school teachers, and seven illegals. Altogether, those arrested had 419 previous felonies and 619 previous misdemeanors, involving charges for kidnapping, robbery, and sex offenses. They will be charged with a total of 52 felonies and 216 misdemeanors.

MIDTERMS: Eric is a tad behind the times with his claim to have the numbers on his side. Everything I looked at showed the two parties going neck and neck.

The latest Gallup Political Affiliation poll shows the parties are even, while the majority are unaffiliated – Democrats 29% vs. Republicans 28% vs. Independents 41%. When the Independents were asked where they lean, 43% said Democrat, while 45% said Republican. That looks to me like a 50-50 split with a whole lot of unknown swing voters who haven’t made up their minds yet.

Real Clear Politics is currently predicting that two Senate seats will shift from D to R. However, in the House, the average of polls shows the same tie the Gallup Political Affiliation poll shows. I wasted a lot of time looking at pollsters who have done generic congressional polls within the past two weeks and who got A or B grades for accuracy in 2020. Then, I eliminated the ones whose current poll results match their biases. It turned out to be a lot of work to get me to the same result RCP already has, which is “The undecideds are going to decide it.”

VOTER PARTICIPATION: When Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, and Texas passed laws to rein in election fraud, Democrats called it “voter suppression, pure and simple.” But the actual result has been a significant increase in voter participation.

E.g., 33.4% of voters showed up in 2018 for the last primary in a non-presidential election year; this year, 35.1% showed up. In Iowa, the 2018 primary turn out was 17%; this year it was 22.6%.

Biden went so far as to say the Georgia’s voting law made “Jim Crow look like Jim Eagle.” But May’s primary turnout hit a record high with an astonishing 168% increase over the 2018 primary.

GRAMMY NOTES: Thirty years ago, my pastor did a huge amount of damage to me. Yesterday, I learned he had passed away. I thought I had dealt appropriately with the whole hairball of mess … but, last night, in my prayers, the Lord brought one event to my mind to which I realized I still had a lot of negative emotion attached. I’ve learned many times that, when a sin or trauma has been prayed through correctly, the emotion goes from burning hot to distant memory. So, I asked, “Do I need to forgive this?” No. “Do I need to confess this?” No. “Do I need to offer this up?” Yes! Ah. So I started my usual prayer but was interrupted by, “Give it to him.” Whoa. Okay. So I prayed, “Lord, I offer this emotional trauma for the remission of his sins.” And hoo boy, I instantly felt this ENORMOUS release and also such a loving smile from God. ❤
