Betrayed…Again

Why is it that Supreme Court judges appointed by republican presidents turn out to be liberals in disguise so often? Souter was. Roberts was. Justices appointed by democrat presidents always, ALWAYS are just as hard left as advertised. They never suffer disappointments. It looks like we may have been conned again.

Justices Roberts and Kavanaugh Betray Pro-Lifers. As Expected

Come on. Who didn’t see this coming?

After all the push and fighting pro-lifers did to make sure Robert Kavanaugh took a seat on the U.S. Supreme Court, how could we not have expected to be betrayed as soon as possible? Roberts is Roberts. I mean, that ship has sailed. He’s on the organ donor waiting list for the first spine transplant.

The Supreme Court Monday rebuffed efforts by states to block funding to Planned Parenthood.

It left in place two lower court opinions that said that states violate federal law when they terminate Medicaid contracts with Planned Parenthood affiliates who offer preventive care for low income women.

It would have taken four justices to agree to hear the issue, and only three conservative justices — Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito and Neil Gorsuch — voted to hear the case.

Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Brett Kavanaugh appeared to side with the court’s liberals in not taking up the case — showing an effort to avoid high-profile abortion-related issues for now.

Justice Thomas Accuses Colleagues of Avoiding Abortion Issues as SCOTUS Passes on Planned Parenthood Defunding Appeal

One justice who has never disappointed.

In a scathing dissent, Justice Clarence Thomas implied that the high court’s decision had to do with a desire to avoid the politically polarizing issue of abortion.

“What explains the court’s refusal to do its job here?” he wrote. “I suspect it has something to do with the fact that some respondents in these cases are named ‘Planned Parenthood.’ That makes the court’s decision particularly troubling, as the question presented has nothing to do with abortion.”

GENESIS: And you thought YOU had awful in-laws Who married Adam and Eve’s kids?” is one of those “ah ha the Bible is stooopid” things non-believers like to throw at us. But I just read that DNA studies have proven that modern day humans not only all have the same original mom and dad, but also that we carry Neanderthal genes!

LIBERALISM: Then and now — When I was growing up, “liberal” meant something good. Now, it means you spend an inordinate amount of time finding things to be pissed off about and inflicting your bad attitudes on everyone around you. NOT that conservatives are always perfectly rational and reasonable …

TRUMP DIDN’T: Oh yes he did — Tweets and posts have claimed that President Donald Trump disdained former President George H.W. Bush by not putting his hand over his heart as his casket passed by. What he did was drop his hand after the casket had passed by. Other people, notably former President Jimmy Carter, also did not put their hands over their hearts for as long as others did.

2015 Hillary audience

CLINTON KARMA: I’m sure LOTS of people will show up for her TRIAL. The chief financial officer of the Clinton Foundation has turned informant

From Thomas Lifton at American Thinker: The reckoning for the Clintons I have dreamed of for a quarter of a century finally approaches with whistleblowing and documents about the slush fund known as the Bill, Hillary, and Chelsea Clinton Foundation.  The ability of the Clintons to blow off charges of criminality will be crippled by the latest evidence revealed to be in the hands of prosecutors.  With the former first couple humiliated by their inability to draw a decent crowd anymore, and plenty of other Democrats anxious to move on and put this embarrassment behind them, it is starting to look as though karma finally is catching up with them.”

From John Solomon at The Hill: “When a House subcommittee chairman bangs his gavel next week to convene an unprecedented investigative hearing into the Clinton Foundation, two questions will linger as preeminent: Is the Clinton family charity really the international do-gooder that earned a perfect four-star rating from Charity Navigator, or does it suffer from corruption and illegalities as conservatives allege? And if it is the latter, how much evidence of wrongdoing does the government possess?

“The answer to the first question is that the foundation and its projects reported collecting about $2.5 billion to help global crises, from AIDS to earthquakes, even as its own auditors, lawyers and employees privately warned of problems over the years. The answer to the second question may reside in 6,000 pages of evidence attached to a whistleblower submission filed secretly more than a year ago with the IRS and FBI.”

MIGRANT CRIME: Germany — Since Merkel opened the country’s borders, the number of weapon permits has increased 130 percent. Clearly, the German people have little faith in the authorities to protect them from migrant crime.

ABORTION: The Heartbeat Protection Act — Introduced on January 12, 2017, this bill would ban abortions after the fetal heartbeat can be detected, which is at about six weeks. Former abortionist, Dr., Kathi A. Aultman, testified in favor of the bill. After medical school, she says she became an abortionist, and later a medical director for Planned Parenthood, partly because of her strong feminist leanings, but also because the money was good. She even committed abortions while she herself was pregnant. Now a Christian and pro-life, she now compares herself to a serial killer. “I probably murdered more people than Ted Bundy or any of the mass murderers if you consider all the abortions that I did,” she says. A video of her testimony before Congress is posted at the link.

ROE V WADE: Bad law or judicial malpractice? — “Pro-lifers and honest pro-abortion legal scholars agree that Roe v. Wade was wrongly decided. But just how wrong is it? Is it bad law solely because it declares a right to something the Constitution is silent about, or does its judicial malpractice run deeper? … Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy has published an article written by Harvard law student (and former Live Action contributor) Josh Craddock that lays out the case in perhaps the most depth it’s ever received.”

TRUMP’S CHIEF OF STAFF: “I will be departing at the end of the year.” – President Trump’s chief of staff, former General John F. Kelly, is leaving the White House. Vice President Pence’s COF, Nick Ayers, is also expected to leave, so he can work for a super PAC ahead of the 2020 campaign.

TRUMP’S AG NOMINEE: William Barr — The 68-year-old jurist is a former U.S. attorney general who served in the position from November 1991 to January 1993 under President George H.W. Bush. He is also an advocate of investigating Hillary Clinton. If confirmed by the Senate, Barr would succeed acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker, who took over after Trump fired Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

TYSON: More dirt — A fourth accuser has come forward to Buzzfeed News claiming Neil deGrasse Tyson drunkenly approached her at a 2010 party, making sexual jokes and propositioning her to join him alone in his office. The woman isn’t named in the story but Buzzfeed was able to find evidence she had told numerous people about the incident at the time. In a 2014 email shared with BuzzFeed News, she described the incident to her own employer in order to shoot down a proposed collaboration with Tyson.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal Is ‘Pretty Much All Fantasy-land’
Experts decry ‘pie in the sky’ environmental plan

Since sweeping into Congress atop a wave of far-left support, Rep.-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.) has been very clear what her number one goal is: a Green New Deal for America.

“This is going to be the Great Society, the moonshot, the civil rights movement of our generation. That is the scale of the ambition that this movement is going to require,” Ocasio-Cortez said during a Monday town hall with Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.).

Ocasio-Cortez’s proposal for a select committee conspicuously leaves out a lot of the details of how, exactly, these goals would be achieved (a common theme in Congressional proposals to enact radical goals). Instead, it punts them to the committee’s 15 members—nine Democrats and six Republicans—themselves.

Much of the goal of Ocasio-Cortez’s GND proposal does not seem to be about environmental policy at all. While light on solutions for actual implementation, the proposed bill incorporates a number of popular far-left economic ideas as part of “a historic opportunity to virtually eliminate poverty in the United States and to make prosperity, wealth and economic security available to everyone participating in the transformation.”

The Hillary Defense

Sharyl Attkisson was good enough to go through Comey’s testimony and break it down into easy-to-understand blips and tweets.

She also wrote an entire article on it if you’re interested.

It’s a stale but effective defense mechanism. Just claim you don’t remember anything. Nobody can conclude what’s in your mind. Hillary did it every time she had to testify. The contemptible bastard James Comey pulled the same stunt. It’s all a stall tactic. He never was, is not, and never will face any kind of legal jeopardy. He only needs to stall until the democrats take over then it will all go away.

Trump Rips Comey For ‘Not Recalling’ 245 Times Before Congress

Comey’s Friday testimony was published nearly 24 hours after he appeared before the joint House Oversight and Judiciary Committees to discuss investigations pertinent to the 2016 presidential election. Comey claimed on dozens of occasions that he did not recall or he did not know the answer to key questions regarding the FBI’s initiation of an investigation against the Trump campaign in 2016.

Comey told the committee that he did not know when he was fired as FBI director whether there was any proven collusion with the Russian government.

‘Presidential Harassment’: Trump Under Unprecedented Attack On Multiple Fronts

It won’t ever end. He defeated the Hildabeast. He must pay dearly.

“The relentless assaults on this president from every front were previously unimaginable and absolutely unprecedented,” said Sidney Powell, a Texas appeals attorney whose book, “License to Lie,” takes on Justice Department corruption. “The ‘resistance’ has sunk to a new low which I hope they live to regret. They truly became ‘creeps on a mission to destroy the President.’”

For some liberals, Mr. Trump is already guilty.

“In a saner world, there’d be no need to wait for Mueller,” said a Twitter post by Jonathan Rauch, an activist journalist and gay rights advocate at the Brookings Institution. “Nothing he finds will be worse than what we already know: this POTUS was elected and serves in violation of his oath of office. Pity we need prosecutors to tell us that.”

McCarthy: Trump Likely To Be Indicted

Andrew C. McCarthy: Why Trump is likely to be indicted by Manhattan US Attorney

The major takeaway from the 40-page sentencing memorandum filed by federal prosecutors Friday for Michael Cohen, President Trump’s former personal attorney, is this: The president is very likely to be indicted on a charge of violating federal campaign finance laws.

It has been obvious for some time that President Trump is the principal subject of the investigation still being conducted by the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York.

But when Cohen pleaded guilty in August, prosecutors induced him to make an extraordinary statement in open court: the payments to the women were made “in coordination with and at the direction of” the candidate for federal office – Donald Trump.

Prosecutors would not have done this if the president was not on their radar screen. Indeed, if the president was not implicated, I suspect they would not have prosecuted Cohen for campaign finance violations at all. Those charges had a negligible impact on the jail time Cohen faces, which is driven by the more serious offenses of tax and financial institution fraud, involving millions of dollars.

What Did You Expect?

FAKE NEWS: There are rumors running around the conservative internet that Rep. Adam Schiff’s sister is married to George Soros’ son. It’s not true.

Melissa Robin Schiff was the maiden name of the soon-to-be ex-wife of Robert Soros (son of George). But she is not Congressman Schiff’s sister. Per their NY Times wedding announcement, her parents were named Haskel and Marlene Schiff. Per Adam Schiff’s bio, his parents were named Edward and Sherrill Ann Schiff.

Schiff: Trump May Face ‘Real Prospect of Jail Time’

Schiff said, “There’s a very real prospect that on the day Donald Trump leaves office, the Justice Department may indict him, that he may be the first president in quite some time to face the real prospect of jail time. We have been discussing the issue of pardons the president may offer to people or dangle in front of people. The bigger pardon question may come down the road, as the next president has to determine whether to pardon Donald Trump.”

Sort of an upscale version of the Ghetto Lottery. Try to provoke a reaction from cops, make sure your homies have they Obama phones on to video then sue for a pile of money. They see every sort of slip, fall, fender bender as a means to enrich themselves. It’s even better when your daddy is a race-hustling hoaxster who is buddies with the communist who runs the city.

CtH: Back in the 70s when I drove a school bus, I had a high school student who told me, with GLEE, how he had gotten into a fight on school property and broke his back. He also won $1,000 from the school district when his parents sued. He bought a car with his “winnings” and sincerely hoped he could do something similar again. HE BROKE HIS BACK!

Al Sharpton’s Daughter Bags $95,000 Settlement for Sprained Ankle

Al Sharpton’s daughter bagged $95,000 in settlement money from New York City for spraining her ankle on an uneven Manhattan street—even after posting photos of herself on social media climbing mountains and wearing high heels months after the fall.

“I sprained my ankle real bad lol,” Dominique Sharpton wrote in an Instagram post after she took a tumble in October 2014.

Sharpton claimed in her lawsuit that she suffered from “permanent physical pain,” but subsequent social media posts just months after the fall showed she had a very active lifestyle.

One of her Instagram posts showed Sharpton climbing mountains on vacation, while she sported high heels and climbed a ladder to hang Christmas decorations in other social media photos.

HAPPY GRAMMY: This year’s girl grandbaby has a south facing bedroom that gets pounded by the southern sun. Her parents asked Crafty Grammy to design and sew some serious curtains for her pink and purple room. I lined the dark purple fabric and put velcro strips on them so they overlap and stay closed. I just got the report: “The curtains are amazing! Baby is napping in the middle of the day and it’s almost like it’s dark outside.” Yay! … Now they would pretty please like the same design for their own bedroom. That’s the price for doing a good job! LOL

2018_12 08 Comey doesn't remember

JAMES “AMNESIA” COMEY: Isn’t it reassuring to know that Democrats are SO MUCH SMARTER than we are? What a shame they all seem to have such leaky memories.

AOC: She’s not too bright AOC: “we’ve been joking that because the Equal Rights Amendment hasn’t been passed yet, the Constitution technically says he cannot run unless he’s 35. So what we’ll do is we’ll force the Republican Party to pass the Equal Rights Amendment by threatening to run for president. … all those Constitutionalists, I will keep vigilance.”

Uhhhhhh … the Constitution never specifies a gender. “No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States.”

What would we DO if we didn’t have our youngest representative-elect keeping VIGILANCE?!

GM vs. TRUMP: Ruh roh! Noting that GM was bailed out by U.S. taxpayers in Dec. 2008 during the Great Recession, President Donald Trump revealed Tuesday that his administration is considering rescinding government subsidies for General Motors after the company announced it would layoff thousands of workers in Ohio, Michigan, and Maryland.

ARCHBISHOP IN THE CHURCH OF PROGRESSIVE SANCTIMONY: Her Eminence Nancy Pelosi — Sixty-five countries have erected fences on their borders as governments try to hold back the tide of migrants. That’s four times as many as when the Berlin Wall was toppled. Reportedly, Pelosi herself has a wall around her home. In fact, many of the wealthy Democrat elites who favor banning our guns and national borders have armed body guards and live in gated communities. But it’s OKAY, because THEY are GOOD people. Those of us who support the second amendment, national sovereignty and security, and, oh I dunno, the sanctity of unborn human life … we’re BAD. Just ask Saint Nancy.

PRO-TRUMP MEDIA: Maybe so — From 7:39 to 10:00 is the prophetic word the Lord gave to Mark Taylor about Donald Trump. The last bit is that the mainstream media will begin to agree with him and it is the ONLY part of the prophecy that has not yet come to pass. But maybe it’s starting. The #NeverTrump crowd’s favorite magazine, The Weekly Standard, is on the brink of extinction. Meanwhile, the Washington Examiner’s new pro-Trump magazine is about to launch.

SOLEMNITY OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION OF MARY: Peace be with you on this special day. Contrary to popular belief, it is not about the miraculous conception of Jesus in the womb of the Virgin Mary. It is about the equally miraculous sinless conception of Mary in the womb of her mother, Saint Ann. Some people find this problematic, but I think it makes perfect sense. God can’t stand sin, so how could he grow in the womb of a woman stained with Original Sin? And God is outside of time, so it’s no biggy that Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross was used to redeem her.

Dogma: Truths revealed by God that have been declared infallibly and that are fundamental to the Catholic faith. It’s kind of like … if you don’t accept the truths of them, you’re really not a Catholic.

Solemnity: One of the Catholic feast days that is of the greatest importance in the church’s calendar. The next one will be Christmas. Solemnities are often, but not always, also holy days of obligation — i.e., Catholics are obliged to attend Mass. Sometimes a feast day’s obligation is abrogated when it falls on a Saturday or a Monday, but that exception does not apply for this feast because the Immaculate Conception is the patroness of the United States. IOW, Catholics need to get to Mass today AND tomorrow.

TAKING IT SERIOUSLY: Property managers at the retirement community trailer park where Millie Francis, 85, lives in west-central Florida have reportedly demanded that she remove the painted image of Our Lady of Guadalupe from the outside of her mobile home. “They’ll have to kill me first,” Francis says.

CHINA: “President Donald J. Trump has been the subject of criticism recently because of some confusion about a recent agreement between China and the United States on trade. Although the media will not cut the president a break, as time has worn on, the agreement with China seems likely to be yet another trade victory for President Trump, Corey Lewandowski writes in The Hill.

OUTRAGEOUS MISCONDUCT: Colluded to skirt scrutiny of Hillary — On Thursday, U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth ordered the Justice and State departments Thursday to reopen an inquiry into whether Hillary Clinton used a private email server while secretary of state to deliberately evade public records laws, and to answer whether the agencies acted in bad faith by not telling a court for months that they had asked in mid-2014 for missing emails to be returned. Lamberth wrote he took no pleasure in “questioning the intentions of the nation’s most august” Cabinet departments, but said it was necessary when their response “smacks of outrageous misconduct.”

YES, ETHICS DO MATTER: The National Institutes of Health will not renew a contract with the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) over concerns about the project’s use of fetal tissue.

ABORTION: Every time I read another news story about what pigs abortionists too often are, I am reminded of the Left’s maudlin concern for maintaining the sanctity of the relationship between a woman and her doctor. “Her” doctor? Almost never.

Michigan: The last of 15 babies found in the trunk of Michigan abortionist Michael Roth’s car in September 2015 has now been properly laid to rest.

Florida: The Florida Board of Medicine has revoked the medical license of a notorious late-term abortionist. James Scott Pendergraft, IV was not present at the meeting, because he is in jail for operating an illegal home abortion and drug distribution business out of the back of a van in South Carolina where he holds no license to practice medicine.

EXPLAINING SOCIALISM: From Twitchy — For years, the Left has been babbling about a ‘living wage’ and trying to force employers to pay a minimum of $15 an hour even if that means they higher fewer people because in their little heads the math somehow makes sense.

The rest of us know the only real way to help those who work for a minimum is to do away with the law that allows an employer to PAY a minimum in the first place, and that way these companies have to compete for their employees.

But no, instead of understanding the free market, our dear, sweet, tolerant friends on the Left are pretending the government can fix this. Some chick named Heather (who we have featured before) took these ‘living wage’ talking points APART in an epic thread.
