ATLANTA – CNN sees 2020 as the second coming of Oprah for president. Even Jesus couldn’t beat her. And Trump might as well quit now. That’s the result of the network’s latest poll on possible presidential candidates for the next election cycle.
Anchor Jake Tapper said CNN polled 896 random viewers of their network. The margin of error for the poll was +/- 25%. Digging through the data, some insights among those polled were discovered:
Breakdown by political affiliation of those polled – 55% Democrat, 35% Independent, 10% Republican. This is in line with CNN’s usual polling mix.
79% of Democrats had never heard of Jesus.
91% of those voting for Oprah cited her acting, talk show demeanor, and 12 years of experience as a Navy Seal as their top reasons for wanting her to be the next president.
82% of those listing Oprah as their preference said she should be our next president, even if she doesn’t run.
36% of all respondents said miracles performed by Jesus were impressive, but that he had never given away cars like Oprah has.
9% of the Oprah voters thought she was already president.
Tapper reminded viewers that the poll was highly scientific, and had been certified by the Brian Stelter accounting firm.

Brooklyn Assemblywoman Pamela Harris stole tens of thousands in Hurricane Sandy money for vacations, lingerie
As Coney Island neighbors and the rest of the city struggled with the massive 2012 devastation, Harris lined her pockets with cash meant to aid the hurricane’s newly homeless, a federal indictment charges.
Harris spent $10,000 on vacations, including a cruise ship getaway, and shopped at Victoria’s Secret with her dirty money, authorities charged Tuesday.
And she allegedly urged witnesses to lie to the FBI in a failed cover-up of her crimes.
Harris looted some $60,000 in state and federal funds in several scams, including Federal Emergency Management Agency money for “temporary housing assistance” after the hurricane, officials charged.
Harris, 57, is a former correction officer and previously served as head of a Coney Island non-profit. She was accused of stealing $34,000 in cash provided by the City Council to pay rent for her group.

Report: Over 300 Labor Union Offices Have Embezzled Money Across The Country
The Detroit Free Press obtained documents from the Department of Labor that in the past two years, over 300 labor union chapters have detected fraud. Two cases with the United Auto Workers Union in Michigan and New Jersey had embezzling episodes that soared over $1 million. The Free Press added that at times, some people who have been tasked with looking after the books were simply not qualified for the job, some cases they were headed up by people who couldn’t balance their own checkbook.

CHICAGO, IL—Immediately upon Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s recent declaration of the entire city of Chicago as an official “crime-free zone,” every criminal in the city suddenly and miraculously left the urban area, according to a statement released by the city council.
“We declare every part of the city of Chicago a crime-free zone,” Emanuel announced in a Thursday appearance on CBS This Morning. “It is now physically impossible for any crime to be committed in our great city, because we declared it a zone of peace and harmony and criminals have no choice but to abide by our new rule.”

Donald Trump held an unprecedented meeting with leaders from both parties yesterday, had it televised, and invited the press. Had he gone on stage during the campaign and said “As far as amnesty, whatever the two parties come up with I’ll gladly sign,” he’d never have been elected.
