Of course I would take the money! Then I’d end up having to give it back 😦 What would I do if I didn’t have the internet? I couldn’t even get more ebooks to read!

And I wouldn’t have any friends, news sources I can read (allergic to ink, hate t.v.), stores I can shop at, or my little business.
With the increases in all prices, including Medicare premiums, but NO COLAs for Social Security, I’ve had to cut first the fun stuff, then some of the necessary stuff out of my budget.
I was just thinking earlier today how much I miss the two health products I stopped buying to save money. I felt better when I had them in my regimen.
But something had to go and they were at the bottom of the ranked list … way below internet service!

I am having a surreal experience here.
I’m watching Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman: Season 4: Disc 4 — “Meet John Doe” and “Lois and Clarks” … about this unknown guy who suddenly gets elected President of the U.S. on a wave of artificially stimulated popularity.
Among other things, he has these flags … the center one has his face on it and “In (his name) We Trust” underneath. On either side are two matching ones bearing raised fists.
He replaces the Secret Service with black thugs wearing dreadlocks.
And one of his lines is “Let’s use the Constitution to wrap fish.”
So … are you saying to yourself, wow somebody on television is actually taking a dig at Obama?
No, actually, it’s even weirder than that.
These shows aired in 1997.
