I just wanted to comment on the Komen controversy. I hope this is the beginning of the end for this sorry excuse for a non profit. They pay their execs hundreds of thousands as they have raked in billions over the years so they can continue to provide GE with more victims for their cancer causing mammography machines.
They spend next to nothing to get out the truth about ways that breast cancer can actually prevented and they have women convinced that smashing and frying their breasts is prevention!
This is one of the biggest travesties in the whole cancer business and as a breast cancer survivor I am sick and tired of being used by this organization to get sympathy for their pathetic org.
With a movie coming out soon that further exposes the truth about pinkwashing and the money trail, I hope that women will stop contributing to this group of opportunists.
Breast cancer is preventable. And no matter what lies you hear, it can be cured. The fact is, the standard of care is being controlled by those who profit off of all of us.
I for one am sick of it.
Go get a thermogram Ladies. It is a pleasant and empowering experience. Demand that this becomes a standard of care and that we get back the insurance code that was taken away thanks to lobbying by Komen and Co.
Then we really will save lives.

Cathy is a doll that belongs to Mrs. Pete and she has been traveling all around the country before she arrived back home over the weekend. It has amused those of us who hosted her during her travels.

RE: “meekness” … Jesus did not mean “bend over and take it, wimpy, milk toast, appeasing doormat” here. He was talking about our hearts with respect to God.
The meek or poor in spirit are those who are not haughty, but who know their own sinfulness. E.g., Luke 18:10ff. They are those who not only understand that God rightly has authority over us, but who also submit to it.
In military terms, I imagine a guy who just aches to be a fighter pilot, but who hasn’t got the reflexes or keen vision to qualify. If he is meek, he will put aside his disappointment and serve willingly in the position his COs determine he is best qualified to fill.
