•$134,000 for 24 White House staff to stay at the Moana Hotel
•$251,000 in police overtime
•$10,000 for an ambulance to be on hand at all times

•Michelle Obama and her daughters stayed at the Sebastian hotel on Vail Mountain, where rooms cost more than $2,400 for multi-bedroom suites.
•The family appears to have flown there on Air Force Two.
•They were escorted to the resort by about a dozen vehicles, including 15 state and local law enforcement officers.

•The Blue Heron Farm estate, where the Obama family stayed, rents for about $50,000 a week.
•Michelle, Sasha and Malia Obama flew to the estate just hours before the president to make the most of the holiday – again, incurring extra flight costs.

Fox has been showing clips of late about when gas hit $3 in 2007.There were congressional hearings,Cheney’s buddies at Haliburton were profiting,along with Bush’s friends in “big oil.”Around here gas went over $3 in December of 2010 and has risen since.They come up with plenty of excuses but they’ll never blame Dear Reader’s punishing energy policies.
I kept waiting,as I’m sure you all did,for Bush to fight back but he never did.That is one of the things I was critical of him for.
When the current lop-eared disaster goes on vacation,it costs the taxpayer tens of millions because he doesn’t have a permanenet address.When Bush vacationed he went home.To HIS home.It cost us nothing,nut he was still roundly criticized for it.He did,however,Christmas at Camp David so his staff could be with their family.
Can you remember Laura Bush taking a few hundred of her friends and 30 handmaidens to vacation in Spain?Skiing in Aspen?Taking Barbara and Jenna on tours of Europe and Africa on the taxpayers dime?Neither can I.

We can list pages of things barry has done that would have been the end for GWB. Golf, Fast and Furious, Media Matters, the list never ends. We keep thinking this will do him in, but when you do have a press, just a propaganda machine, the truth just doesn’t matter.
But Bush never defended himself or sent out others to do it for him. He pretended he was too busy to deal with such nonsense and that he had more important things to do. So the daily drumbeat of bush bashing just got louder and louder and people think it is all true. It WAS all Bush’s fault.
He should have defended himself then, and he should be doing so now. He should at least be making a comment about how people blamed him for gas prices that were half what they are now, and they give barry a pass.
Oh,wait. Since Bush lives in Texas now. And we know how evil those texas oilmen are. It is all Bush’s fault.

How would we know what the GOP is doing?
I saw an entire article about one issue recently that included about a dozen DNC quotes, gave FULL coverage to their talking points and NOT ONE QUOTE from a Republican or MENTION of the Republican talking points. Not one.
We see the same thing over and over … they cover 12 Occupiers at some damn thing, but tens of thousands at a Tea Party rally and it’s crickets.
An abortionist gets murdered and the MSM does eulogies like he was Mother Teresa; weeks later, a pro-lifer gets murdered and it’s crickets.
The RCC is still up in arms about the HHS thing, but the MSM interviews the Catholics who are all “Obama is soooo good to give us that great compromise.”
Dearest went to hear Karl Rove speak last year. Rove said Bush defended his policies constantly. The MSM refused to repeat any of those parts of his speeches.
It was like that famous “Mission Accomplished” photo. The sign on that ship was about the ship’s mission; they’d been at sea for months and were coming home! That’s what the sign meant.
I read the speech Dubya gave that day. He made it abundantly clear there was a lot of work still ahead before Iraq would be safe and free. The MSM made sure to crop all the photos with the sign and then used it to ridicule him for years afterwards.

I totally remember how they misrepresented the mission accomplished sign. It was maddening. Any moron with half a brain could figure out that bush did not put up the sign. He was there because the ship was going home and he was thanking them. Of course, being liberal means never having to think for yourself. You just take the daily talking points and run with it.
I am not a big fan of Rove since he is always bashing the tea party, but don’t you just love it when libs complain that “faux news” is biased because Rove is a commentator, but ABC is not even though Clinton’s chief of staff has a whole show that is written by the white house. And Mrs snuffleUyoursiguess is one of his sidekicks.
It is astounding that any republican wins when we are listening to mindspeak everyday.
