Bits & Bytes

AOC: This wise Latina has taught us all so many important life lessons.

CORPORATOCRACY: Tucker Carlson [15:15] – Corporations now believe they have veto power over our democracy.

COVID-19: Nineteen states have either revoked or never imposed mask mandates and the governors in Wyoming, Mississippi, Texas, Alaska, and Montana have all announced this week that won’t renew them. Three weeks after Gov. Greg Abbott lifted the mask mandate in Texas, the state hit a record low for COVID-19 cases.

HEAVEN, HELL, PURGATORY: Father Jose’s testimony of what happened after he died starts at 24:48. If you prefer text or can’t understand his accent, click the link below. N.b., the text version is not a transcript of the audio.

EXCERPT from HELL: “I was surprised when I saw in hell even priests and Bishops, some of whom I never expected to see. Many of them were there because they had misled the people with false teaching and bad example.

EXCERPT from PURGATORY: “Even though these souls are suffering, they enjoy peace and the knowledge that one day they will see God face to face. I had a chance to communicate with the souls in purgatory. They asked me to pray for them and to tell the people to pray for them as well, so they can go to heaven quickly.”

EXCERPT from HEAVEN: “Words can not express the beauty of heaven.. There we find so much peace and happiness, which exceed a million times our imagination. Our Lord is far more beautiful than any image can convey. His face is radiant and luminous and more beautiful than a thousand rising suns.”

EXCERPT from AFTER: “As they were moving my dead body to the morgue, my soul came back to the body. I felt an excruciating pain because of so many wounds and broken bones. I began to scream, and then the people became frightened and ran away screaming. … The doctor came to examine the body and found that I was alive.”

HERESY: This man is only a “reverend” in the Church of the Left.

HOLLYWOOD HATE: They did the same thing about hydroxychloroquine, with just the same lack of facts.

HOMESCHOOLING: Before COVID-19 shut down the country, 3.3% of American families were homeschooling. That number is now 11.1%.

MEDIA MALPRACTICE: On Thursday’s CBS Evening News, anchor Norah O’Donnell and White House correspondent Nancy Cordes refused fact-check or pushback on President Joe Biden’s insistence that Georgia’s new election law is “Jim Crow on steroids.”

Georgia’s voter ID law has nothing to do with race. When Biden called them “Jim Crow on steroids”, he was making the offensively racist statement that people of color are way too stupid to get photo identification cards.

Jim Crow laws were 19th and early 20th century state and local laws passed by White Democrats (the same guys inside those white KKK hood) that imposed racial segregation on the Southern United States.

PAGANISM: It’s common for skeptics of Christianity to claim that the word Easter comes from the name of a pagan deity called Ishtar, suggesting that the Christian faith has pagan roots. But no matter how prevalent this contention has become, it has no basis in history or reality.

RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS: In other “random” news, when a homeless man walked into Burger King with only 50 cents to buy something to eat, a kind cashier decided to treat the man to a large meal. Then, a patron who had watched the exchanged tipped the cashier $100.

VOTER ID: According to an Associated Press poll, 72% of Americans support showing a photo identification in order to vote — including a majority (56%) of Democrats. As of 2021, 36 states require photo identification to cast a ballot at a polling site.

GRAMMY NOTES: [2:57] – Mama Buzz has been to this aquarium twice. 🙂
