Annie Oakley @ Not the Bee clarifies: “The AR-15 is simply a type of gun design. Bullet velocity is determined by the weight of the bullet, the amount of gunpowder in each bullet casing, barrel twist, and the length of the barrel. … [Also] he said ANY other gun, which would include everything the military has!!”

FAUXTUS also claims, “An AR-15 could vaporize an entire human body in a matter of seconds.” In the video, Rep. Lucy McBath is shown similarly claiming that “assault rifles” blow human bodies to smithereens. But, as we see in the video, that’s not even close to true.

Also, velocity is not related to destructive power on impact. In the video, we see the big honking projectiles causing the most damage. But high velocity bullets, which are used for accuracy at long distances, are achieved by reducing the size and weight of the projectile as much as possible.

It’s almost like the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces (and his dimwitted, anti-gun cronies) know nothing about guns. Gee, what a shock. (Not.) Also, Twitter hasn’t blocked or slapped a fact check on these patently false tweets. Color me double not shocked.

ADORATION: I turned on a live Adoration on YouTube and was surprised to really feel something. Several times, I switched away from the livestream and then back again; every time, the feeling left then returned. Way back when I could still go to church, I would often go just to pray near the Tabernacle for an hour or so, because it soothed me in a very tangible way. I did not expect to feel that from an on-line exposition!
