Bits & Bytes

FAUXTUS: Since taking office, Biden has spent 365 days — 39.4% of his presidency — on vacation. And people used to criticize Obama and Trump for playing golf. It’s pretty clear that Joe Biden is not the de facto POTUS.

ILLINOIS: A couple of weeks ago, Gov. Pritzker signed the “Deceptive Practices of Limited Services Pregnancy Centers Act” into law. The new law targets pro-life pregnancy centers and pro-life speech outside of abortion centers; up to $50,000 in fines await violators of the act. The Thomas More Society immediately filed a lawsuit which has resulted in a federal judge overturning the law, saying it “is painfully and blatantly a violation of the First Amendment.”

MEDIA: CNN must have gotten the word from the elites who actually run the Democratic Party. Biden is done. CLICK https://twitter.com/RNCResearch/status/1687146111918645259 [:43] to hear CNN report that “more people trust congressional Republicans than President Biden.” CLICK https://twitter.com/RNCResearch/status/1687144017769721856 [:20] to hear CNN report that Trump’s approval rating at this point was higher than Biden’s is now.

NEONATAL VACCINES: A newly published, peer-reviewed study shows that the nations that require the most neonatal vaccine doses tend to have the worst mortality rates in children under age 5. The U.S. schedule (graphic) shows only the newborn shots; the rest of the schedule (link below) was too long to screenshot.

One of the researchers noted that nations that administer hepatitis B and tuberculosis (BCG) vaccines to their infants shortly after birth “had significantly worse infant mortality rates when compared to nations that require neither vaccine.” So, we protect babies from diseases they’re unlikely to encounter until much later in life, if ever, and kill them in the process? Yeah, no.

I am so grateful for the doctor who helped me sort through the too-many-for-my-comfort vaccines recommended in the ‘80s, which was a lot less than they recommend now. His rule of thumb for choosing which ones were worth the risk of injecting included the history of the vaccine’s safety, the prevalence of the disease, and the dangers and treat-ability of the disease. As I recall, we decided on polio, DPT, and MMR.

Even then, one of my kids suffered a vaccine injury from the pertussis vaccine. Before the jab, she had been in the 50th percentile for height and weight, but two months after, she had grown so little that she had dropped into the 5th percentile. Her pediatrician not only refused to admit the vaccine had caused her Failure to Thrive, but actually accused me of not feeding her! We found ourselves a new pediatrician and I required the DT only vaccine for all their boosters.

Later, I learned the pertussis vaccine was modified to make it safer, which methinks wouldn’t have been done if it had not caused injuries in the first place.

VAXXX: A new study reported on a one year evaluation of 40 children (12 to 18 yo) who had experienced heart inflammation after the ‘rona jab. Cardiac magnetic resonance imaging, or cardiac MRIs, showed abnormal results in 26, with 19 exhibiting signs of scarring. These kids had another follow-up cardiac MRIs at least five months after the initial tests at which point 15 (58%) had still showed scarring. residual late gadolinium enhancement (LGE). The one patient without an initial scan also had mild late gadolinium enhancement when scanned during a follow-up visit. The researchers note that “there exists a potential long-term effect on exercise capacity and cardiac functional reserve during stress.”

Dr. Peter McCullough, an American cardiologist, said that the new data is consistent with what cardiologists are seeing in clinical practice. “COVID-19 vaccines should be pulled from the market immediately until further notice. Large scale research programs should be commissioned immediately on subclinical and clinical COVID-19 vaccine induced myocarditis with initial aims at risk stratification and mitigation for cardiac arrest.

GRAMMY NOTES: Back when VHS rental stores were still a thing, the owner at ours told us about the VCR she was trying to clean. Somebody’s toddler had put a PB&J sandwich into it! I’m guessing he wanted it toasted. 🙂

GOD’S PLAN: New research reaffirms an ancient message. On average, married people are 30% more likely to be happy than are men or women who are single and childless. Researcher Sam Peltzman says the difference is “stable over time. It is about the same whether the unmarried state is due to divorce, separation, death of spouse or never having married.”

SOUND OF FREEDOM: The small-budget film the Left tried to cancel has earned over $150 million in box office revenues in its first four weeks. By comparison, the heavily-promoted “Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning” made $140 million.

Jim Caviezel, star of “Sound of Freedom,” is leading a prayer rally in Cincinnati, Ohio, today, to encourage Christians to vote YES on Issue 1 on August 8. Since 1912, Ohio has used a simple majority to pass a constitutional amendment. Issue 1 would raise that threshold to 60% of the vote.

BOSTON: Boston Mayor Michelle Wu signed an executive order on July 31 banning the use of fossil fuels in new construction and major renovation of city-owned buildings. IOW, there will be no new construction or major renovation of city-owned buildings for the foreseeable future.

They actually pay this moron for this dribble which should tell you all you need to know about MSNBC.

OHIO: This is so weird. In the early morning hours of Aug 2, 2023, a London Police officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle with no rear lights or visible registration.

CLICK https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eZrEPPaKWvY [33:37] to see body cam footage of the beginning of the incident. The couple (aged 55 and 53) and their dog seemed calm, friendly, and basically normal … until 5:09 when they suddenly took off. The cop followed them to a truck stop where they got out of their vehicle, pulled a gun, stole a semi (no trailer), and fled with a hostage (probably the truck driver).

The police pursued, eventually blocking the roadway and stopping the semi. SWAT and hostage negotiators stepped in. The standoff lasted for hours after the end of the body cam footage, ending eventually in a hail of bullets. The couple is dead. The hostage and the dog are both fine. Nobody knows why the couple responded so bizarrely to a routine traffic stop.

TRANS: In June, the board of supervisors in Dane County, Wisconsin, where Madison is located, passed a resolution making the county a trans sanctuary. According to the resolution, access to sex-reassignment medications and body-mutilating surgeries is a fundamental right for everyone, including children.

In Oregon, a hospital has barred a woman from receiving treatment of any kind at any of their facilities, because she said she was uncomfortable with the office’s prominently-displayed “transgender” flag. She is a liver transplant survivor and breast cancer patient who was scheduled for a double mastectomy later this month. She now has no primary care doctor.

TRUMP: The Leftie Media is reporting that “Donald Trump appeared to stumble over his words when he was asked to state his full name and age at his arraignment on charges of attempting to overturn the 2020 election.”

Yeah, no.

What he said was, “Donald J Trump — John — Donald John Trump” and “seven seven … 77.” He wasn’t stumbling. He was sending his supporters a message, one the Bible-illiterate Left will never decipher.

I want to get this on a mug.

CATHOLIC: CLICK https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92bZZF8Op0k and skip to 8:30 to hear an excellent 5½ minute homily about why it is God’s perfect love that requires there to be a Hell.

DEMONIC THOUGHTS: CLICK https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pooupzz5Af0 [4:50] to hear Msgr. Rossetti explain what demonic obsessions are, how to identify them, and what to do when the Evil One attacks our minds.

I have a horrible memory from when I was about 8 yo. My family was visiting New York City and, while we were waiting on the subway platform, I suddenly had this intense thought or impulse to throw myself on to the third rail. I was so scared! I crammed my body into an I-beam support, on the side away from the platform, and pressed my body against it until the subway came. Once we got on the train, I was okay.

Something similar happened again about thirty years later when I suddenly had a similarly intense thought or impulse to stab myself with a kitchen knife. I went into my office, which was as far from the kitchen knives as I could get and sat on my office chair backwards, clinging to the back of the chair as hard as I could until it stopped. I see now that both these times, I was under demonic assault.

FAUX ECONOMY: Fitch Ratings, one of the “Big Three” credit rating agencies, downgraded the creditworthiness of the United States from AAA to AA+. The White Hut’s lying liar in chief declared that Fitch doesn’t know what it’s doing. “President Biden has delivered the strongest recovery of any major economy in the world.”

LYING with COLOR: O’Keefe has dropped a new undercover video showing the shift from “get Trump” to “climate crisis.” CLICK https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGxQ41EQQdQ [2:05].

NATIONAL SECURITY: This is really creepy. A mysterious company calling itself Flannery Associates LLC has spent nearly $800 million buying all the farm land on three sides of Travis Air Force Base. The company began purchasing the land in 2018, then accelerated purchases in 2022 and 2023. In total, the company made 314 land purchases of roughly 52,000 acres.

The land purchases go right up to the fence around Travis Air Force Base, which is home to the largest wing of the Air Force’s Air Mobility Command. Despite an 18-month investigation into the land sales, the U.S. Air Force’s Foreign Investment Risk Review Office has not been able to determine who is behind Flannery Associates.

And to make things even more skeezy, the company has filed a lawsuit against the farmers for allegedly conspiring to inflate the prices of their farms, which many did not want to sell. It seems likely they’re trying to bankrupt the farmers who can’t afford to hire lawyers.

In moves that seem long overdue, to say the least, U.S. senators recently approved a measure in the National Defense Authorization Act that would prohibit China, Iran, North Korea, and Russia from purchasing U.S. farmland and would screen American investment in high-tech ventures on foreign adversary soil. Also, U.S. Reps. Mike Thompson (R-Calif.) and Mike Gallagher (R-Wis.) recently introduced legislation to strengthen and expand protections around national security sites, critical infrastructure, and farmland.

ROTTEN APPLE: I am so grateful to hear there is now a church doing Perpetual Adoration of the Holy Eucharist in New York City, the abortion capital of the United States. Before Roe v. Wade, New York passed the most permissive abortion law in America and, overnight, a new industry materialized in New York City, promoting itself to women across the country. Today, 10% of all abortions in America occur in New York State, with 70% of those occurring in New York City. In absolute terms, there are more abortions performed on minors, more repeat abortions, and more late abortions (over 21 weeks) in New York City than anywhere else in the country. In parts of the city, the ratio of abortions to births is one to one.

DEMOCRATS: The official account of the Missouri Democrat Party responded to this tweet with, “The roof, the roof, the roof is on [fire] we don’t need no water, let the ‘insert your word,’ burn! #VoteBlue2024.” The tweet was later deleted, but not before screenshots were taken. So much for the party of love and tolerance.

FAUCI: Senator Rand Paul [R-KY] says he has sent an “official criminal referral” to the Justice Department about Tony Fauci. Since “a congressional criminal referral is a non-binding communication to the DOJ”, I’m not holding my breath.

GENDER SCIENCE: Fake scientist Neil Degrasse Tyson has professed his belief in the pretend world of pretend genders. CLICK https://twitter.com/ChoooCole/status/1686232836720967681 [2:25] to hear detransitioner Chloe Cole respond to his idiotic video.

DeGrasse Tyson earned a BA in Physics at Harvard, then went to the University of Texas-Austin to pursue a doctorate. His doctoral committee offered him an MA in Astronomy and suggested he find an alternate career before booting him out of the doctoral program. Later, he went to Columbia where he was able to score an MPhil and a PhD in Astrophysics.

The reason I mention his credentials is that, like Bill Nye, he has primarily made his living talking about, rather than doing science. And, since trans activists claim that only Biologists and Medical Doctors have any right to have an opinion about trans issues, I’m thinking Neil should shut up about … well, just about everything.

CLICK https://twitter.com/CitizenFreePres/status/1612859907925053454 [1:37] to hear DeGrasse Tyson flip out about somebody saying individuals should have the choice whether or not to take the ‘rona jab. Everything he says has been proven 100% wrong.

JACK SMITH: Smith is the special counsel appointed by AG Garland to head up the DOJ’s investigation of Trump. On July 31, Smith’s team filed a statement with the court admitting they had not, in fact, all Mar-a-Lago surveillance footage to Mr. Trump’s defense attorneys, as required by law. This is known as a Brady rule violation.

The Washington Examiner reports that Smith “has a mixed track record handling investigations into major political figures.” From 2010 until early 2015, Smith led a team of 30 prosecutors who specialized in public corruption cases throughout the U.S.

  1. Their conviction of former Gov. Bob McDonnell (R-VA) was unanimously overturned by the Supreme Court.
  2. Their attempt to nail former Sen. John Edwards (D-NC) ended in a hung jury and mistrial.
  3. They convicted former Rep. Rick Renzi (R-AZ-1), who was pardoned by President Trump saying Renzi had been “wrongly convicted by a Department of Justice that engaged in witness tampering, illegal wiretapping, and gross prosecutorial misconduct.” Kinda like that recent Brady rule violation …
  4. Their attempt to convict Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) ended in a hung jury and mistrial.

OHIO: Cuyahoga County uses taxpayer dollars to fund a trans youth center called “Colors+.” The center offers drag tutorials in collaboration with Drag Queen Story Hour Cleveland, another LGBTQ+ organization.

SOUTH AFRICA: On Saturday, 90,000 black people gathered in a stadium to chant about killing white people. On Sunday, four black teens invaded a white-owned farm, tortured the owners, slit the man’s throat, then stole cash, guns, and a car. The wife managed to run to a neighbor’s house and call the police, leading to a chase that ended in the perpetrators crashing and the thugs being apprehended.

Joel Abbott summarizes, “In an effort to erase the wrongs of apartheid, where blacks and whites were segregated, South Africa wrote some of the fundamental concepts of Critical Race Theory into its constitution in the 1990s. As a result, a developed nation with high standards of living has slowly devolved into chaos, with each new problem being blamed on white people. Calls to violence have increased. …

Marxism is based on jealousy and victimhood. It starts by blaming another group for all the wrongs in the world. … Eventually, you change your laws and society to allow you to kill that group of people and take their stuff. But once that group of people is gone, a new scapegoat is needed. The perpetual revolution requires constant blood. You end up with a country where no one has food, no one trusts each other, and no one has any freedom.”

TRUMP: From the Babylon Bee – “As news dropped that former President Donald Trump was facing a third federal indictment, Democrats were quick to explain that no American citizen is above the law they only selectively enforce. …

In order to make the disparate enforcement of the law less confusing, the Department of Justice announced they will build a new, two-tiered office building for prosecuting people of differing political parties.”

DIET: A 39-year-old Raw Foods Vegan influencer has died after living on and promoting her “wonder” diet.

SUPPLEMENTS: Consumer Lab warns of seven red flags to watch out for when buying vitamins, minerals, and herbs. I added one more based on my several years of experience reading Consumer Lab reports.

  1. Labels that don’t tell you what you’re supposed to be getting.
  2. Meaningless claims. Phrases like “clinically tested”, “pharmaceutical grade,” and “FDA approved laboratory” have no actual meaning.
  3. Claims to treat or cure disease. Supplements are not legally permitted to make such claims.
  4. Gummies. Standards are lower for these, plus the ingredients are less stable. If your kid refuses anything else, they’re better than nothing. But they should be seen only as a last resort.
  5. Upper Limits. Be aware that your total supplement intake of a specific nutrient may take you above the Tolerable Upper Limit or Not To Exceed amount. You can google these for gender and age.
  6. Be suspicious of a label that says “Quality Tested” or “Third-Party Tested” if there is no indicated who did the testing. Consumer Lab allows manufacturers to put their quality seal (graphic above) on products they have approved.
  7. High prices. I saved more than the cost of my Consumer Lab subscription just by switching to cheaper, but better quality supplements based on their recommendations.
  8. Don’t trust a brand. Before I joined CL, I had one brand I totally trusted. Turns out, one of their products was contaminated with arsenic! Then, recently, Mama Buzz asked me to check out Solaray, a brand she felt was trustworthy. I did a search for every Solaray product CL had tested and found 2 were Not Approved for contamination issues; three were Not Approved for inaccurate labeling issues; two were Approved for purity and accurate labels, but Not Recommended because the doses did not match what clinical studies have found to be best; two were Approved, but Overpriced; six were Approved; and three were Top Picks (best quality for the price).

BTW, if you’re serious about making smart health choices not just in supplements, but also in things like air and water filters, I highly recommend joining Consumer Lab. A subscription gives you access to years and years of their research, plus the new stuff they publish weekly, and the ability to email specific questions. This week’s answered questions included How do probiotics work?”, Does brushing with a charcoal-containing toothpaste remove coffee stains better than a regular whitening toothpaste?”, “Which brands of decaffeinated coffee contain dangerous solvents?”, and Can collagen or gelatin (including gelatin capsules) be contaminated with the infectious agent that causes ‘mad cow disease’?”

He says, “Jimmy (James Biden), Frankie (Francis Biden) and President Biden are very dangerous, and it’s tragic. I can’t let them do what they did to me to President Trump.”

His story about being fined $8,200 in April for, if I understand it correctly, missing the deadline for paying his first quarter taxes for the same year is unbelievable. Compare it to Hunter, who cheated on his 2014 and 2015 tax returns to the tune of $125,000, but had the DOJ stall pursuing him until the statute of limitations had run out.

HOT SUMMER: Wrongs are loving the record-breaking heat this summer, because they think it confirms their fervent, cultish belief in Anthropogenic Global Warming. Except, oh wait, the SCIENCE does not support this conclusion. According to NASA, the culprit is the huge amount of water vapor that the underwater Hunga Tonga-Hunga Ha’apai volcano hurled into the atmosphere when it erupted in January of 2022.

This eruption was so enormous that it sent a tsunami racing around the world, set off a sonic boom that circled the globe twice, and blasted 146 teragrams of water vapor into the stratosphere. That was enough water to fill more than 58,000 Olympic-size swimming pools. One Olympic-size swimming pool holds at least 660,430 gallons of water; you can do the math; numbers this big make my head ache!

In the 18 years that NASA has been taking measurements of such things, only the 2008 Kasatochi eruption in Alaska and the 2015 Calbuco eruption in Chile sent appreciable amounts of water vapor to such high altitudes. But the volume of those two were tiny compared to the Tonga eruption and the water vapor from them dissipated quickly. By contrast, the excess water vapor the Tonga volcano added to the stratosphere may take several years to dissipate, during which time it trap heat and cause warmer than normal temperatures.

SHIFTING BLAME: When Moses came down from the mountain and found his people worshiping a golden calf, he asked Aaron how he could let them commit such a grave sin. Aaron replied, “Let not my lord be angry. You know well enough how prone the people are to evil. They said to me, ‘Make us a god to be our leader; as for the man Moses who brought us out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has happened to him.’ So I told them, ‘Let anyone who has gold jewelry take it off.’They gave it to me, and I threw it into the fire, and this calf came out.” – Exodus 32: 23-25 [NABRE]

And this calf came out.” ::snort:: Really? He tossed jewelry into a fire and a fully formed golden calf just popped out of the fire? LOL It reminds me of a Bill Cosby routine where he recounts how he and his brother broke the bed. When his father asked who broke the bed, they claimed it was a stranger who came in through the window. The father asked, “What window?” The boys replied, “He brought it with him.

This kind of blame shifting has been going on since the Garden of Eden. When God asked Adam and Eve if they had eaten from the forbidden tree, Adam replied, “The woman whom you put here with me—she gave me fruit from the tree, so I ate it.” Then, God asked Eve, who “What is this you have done?” and she said, “The snake tricked me, so I ate it.” – Genesis 3:11-13 [NABRE]

A team of scientists at UC-Davis reports that the carbon footprint of such meat is four to twenty-five times greater than the average for retail beef.

MICROWAVE: CLICK https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MGsmJGQBERU [14:19] to learn more good things you should know to get the most out of your microwave … including things you should never microwave including metal, raw kale, bread, eggs, frozen meat, masks. The chef also suggests better methods for each of these.

WHEAT’S EVIL TWIN: CLICK https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aKrOYe2nY0M [14:40] to hear stuff you probably did not know about this parable.

Two more factoids I learned at the link below:

1) Darnel not only looks and behaves like wheat, but also cannot live without human assistance. The only way it survives is to have its seeds mixed into domesticated grasses and replanted next season.

2) While a large dose of darnel can kill you, small doses can get you high.

I hope y’all will take these thoughts into prayer today and ask the Lord, “Am I wheat or darnel? Am I walking the walk or just talking the talk?

Bits & Bytes

CANCEL CULTURE: After testifying at Senator Johnson’s December 2022 panel on the ‘rona jabs, Dr. Renata Moon was informed by the Washington Medical Commission (WMC) that doctors who offer “misinformation” about COVID-19 vaccines, treatments, and preventative measures “erode the public trust in the medical profession and endanger patients” and threatened that it could revoke her license. Then, Washington State University informed her that they would not be renewing her appointment as a clinical associate professor of medicine.

DEMONIC FOOTHOLDS: Please listen to this whole thing. It contains very valuable information. – CLICK https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DrO6sKJkJXU [7:46] to hear Fr. Ripperger describe what kinds of chronic sins that demons use to maintain their footholds in your life.

HATING PEOPLE: Matt Walsh took a lot of heat from the Wrongs after tweeting, “This is a good time to remember that feminism has killed far more people than the atomic bomb. It is perhaps the most destructive force in human history. Trans ideology, its offshoot, is competing for the title.” He’s got a point.

EVs: As the number of electric vehicles increases, so do the number of injuries and even deaths from exploding lithium batteries and the fires they spark. E.g., in 2021 in New York, there were 79 injuries and four deaths. In 2022, there were 142 injuries and six deaths. As of this week, just six months into 2023, there have been 131 fires, 76 injuries, and 13 deaths.

ILHAN OMAR: CLICK https://twitter.com/EndWokeness/status/1684647143728914433 [:14] to hear another racist lie spew out of her racist pie hole. N.b., on the face of it, the FBI data show Whites committed the most murders. However, when I massaged the data to separate Hispanics, which had primarily been lumped with Whites, Blacks topped the list even without considering the fact that they represent only 14.2% of the total population. Also, I couldn’t figure out at all where the Asian murderers got put, but my guess is they were also lumped in with Whites.

LIGHT BULBS: While perusing the news today, I saw that, in one week, the manufacture and sale of the only light bulbs I can use will be banned in the U.S. I decided I should spend every dime I could spare stocking up, but as I was choosing the best deal at Amazon, I got distracted writing an angry letter to my representative.

By the time I had finished venting, the bulbs I wanted had gone up $3. ::sigh::

Back when they first talked about banning incandescent bulbs, I wrote to my then-representative about this issue. As I recall, I got no reply. It beats me why all these mythical efforts to “save the planet” somehow manage to trump the daily life-and-death needs of real people like me.

OBAMACARE: A federal court has ordered the FAUX administration to pay $65,000 in attorneys’ fees to Alliance Defending Freedom for illegally depriving women of pro-life health insurance coverage. Many women depend on fertility awareness-based methods (e.g., Natural Family Planning) for moral, religious, or health reasons, but the Affordable Care Act only covers contraceptive and abortifacient drugs and devices.

VAXXX: Certain types of aggressive cancers began surging after the jab roll-out in December 2020. What’s unique about these so-called “turbo cancers” is that they do not respond to traditional treatment because the cells have been altered in the bone marrow and aren’t doing what they’re supposed to be doing.

In a recent Belgian study, a 14-week-old mouse died two days after receiving a booster dose of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine. Autopsy showed it had cancerous lymphoma in the liver, kidneys, spleen, heart, and lungs.

In a January 2023 paper, researchers presented the case of a 66-year-old man who developed stage 2 non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) 10 days after receiving his third dose of Pfizer. They found eight similar cases in the literature, five after Pfizer, one after AstraZeneca, one after J&J, and one after Moderna.

GRAMMY NOTES: I have this with Mama Buzz. We are so grateful for our “friends and family” cell plan that allows us to be day-to-day girlfriends even when we’re thousands of miles apart.
