Bits & Bytes

ANIMAL TORTURE: On Feb. 6, the House Committee on Oversight and Reform held a hearing entitled “Transgender Lab Rats and Poisoned Puppies: Oversight of Taxpayer Funded Animal Cruelty.” Justin Goodman of the White Coat Waste Project (WCW) watchdog group reported on the millions taxpayers have spent on “transgender animal testing.” One guess who authorized 95% of this demonic activity.

“In a lot of these cases, they involve mice, rats, monkeys, who are being surgically mutilated and subjected to hormone therapies to mimic female to male or male to female gender transitions, gender-affirming hormone therapies, and then looking at the biological, psychological and physiological effects of the gender transitions, looking at the effects of taking vaccines after you’ve transitioned these animals from male to female or female to male, looking at the size of their genitals changing after you’ve put them on estrogen or testosterone therapies to transition them.”

Goodman said the WCW estimates that more than $20 billion has been spent on ineffective animal research. Rep. Mace (R-SC) noted, “We spent over $1 million to find out if female rats receiving testosterone therapy were more likely to overdose on a date rape drug. That’s what your taxpayer dollars were being spent on.”

BORDER: [10:07] – The estimated social benefit cost to each illegal is $130,000. And the Dems said that spending $5 billion to finish building Trump’s wall would be too expensive. “President Trump is committed to safeguarding Federal public benefits for American citizens who are truly in need, including individuals with disabilities and veterans,” a White House fact sheet on the executive order said.

Re: rebate – I’m all for paying down debt. But I’ve also got a molar that could really use 5 grand.

HIRED/FIRED: The Senate has approved Howard Lutnick, Trump’s choice to head up the Commerce Department. Lutnick is a staunch supporter of Trump’s economic policies.

KANSAS: God bless the Kansas state Republicans who, on Tuesday, voted 31-9 in the state Senate and 85-34 in the state House to override the veto their woke governor slapped on the “Help Not Harm Act.” The new law bans doctors from performing transgender surgeries on minors or putting them on cross-sex hormones and puberty blockers. Kansas is now the 27th state to legislate gender protections for minors.

ROB SCHNEIDER: [2:08:57] – CLICK https://www.youtube.com/shorts/h5XQlrLT8qo to hear a clip from his interview with Tucker Carlson. I am listening to the interview now.

GRAMMY NOTES: I was pondering what a “sacrifice of praise” means to me and was reminded of a story I heard once. A devout pastor was struggling with depression after his daughter lost her leg to cancer. When he asked a colleague for help, the man said, “Praise God.” The depressed pastor said his spiritual life was totally dry and he didn’t feel any joy or love or gratitude etc. The colleague said, “Praise Him anyway. It’s not about your feelings. It’s about the fact that God is good in all things and through all things.” I learned from that how to be grateful and praise God even on my worst days.

AIR: On Monday, Delta Connection Flight 4819 flipped over and exploded while landing at Toronto Pearson International Airport.

Some commenters said it looked to them like the plane was going too fast when it landed. Others said it looked like the landing gear on the right side collapsed when it hit the ground.

CLICK https://x.com/CollinRugg/status/1891628534181003570 [:42] to see the plane being evacuated. Incredibly, there were no fatalities and only 18 of the 80 souls aboard were injured. Three were sent to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Delta Flight plane was operated by Endeavor Air, a small airline obsessed with all-female crews.

ARRESTED: CLICK https://x.com/nicksortor/status/1891610088130883700 [1:30] to see a “mostly peaceful” leftist protester get arrested after spraying paint in the face of a Trump supporter. Thankfully, the victim was wearing glasses which protected his eyes from the paint, a by-stander caught the assault on video, and the Capitol Police acted promptly.

BLASPHEMY: Cynthia Erivo is set to become the first bald, black, vegan lesbian to play Jesus Christ in ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ at the Hollywood Bowl this summer.

BORDER: On Monday, Trump’s Border Czar Tom Homan tweeted, “In the last 24 hours the US Border Patrol has encountered a total of 229 aliens across the entire southwest border. That is down from a high of over 11,000 a day under Biden. I started as a Border Patrol Agent in 1984 and I don’t remember the numbers ever being that low. President Trump promised a secure border and he is delivering.”

CATHOLIC: CLICK https://www.youtube.com/shorts/4hikn_RpCsA to hear an amazing true story from exorcist Msgr. Rosetti.

EDUCATION: In line with Trump’s agenda, the Education Department has canceled $600 million for programs that promote critical race theory, DEI, social justice activism, and race-based teacher and staff recruitment.

HYPOCRITES: CLICK https://x.com/PressSec/status/1891147989634236743 [1:16] to hear Obama and Biden swear to eliminate “pointless waste and stupid spending.” Under their leadership, our federal government grew, spending increased, and the debt skyrocketed.

JUDICIARY: Dems have filed multiple lawsuits against Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). One federal judge has blocked DOGE from accessing U.S. Department of Treasury data. Two others have told the plaintiffs they have no case; one involved DOGE’s access to the Department of Education’s student financial aid data, while the other covered the Office of Personnel Management, as well as the Departments of Commerce, Education, Energy, Health and Human Services, Labor, and Transportation.

TRANS TERROR CULT: On Inauguration Day, a U.S. Border Patrol Officer Agent (David Maland) and a German trans man (Felix “Ophelia” Bauckholt) died during a shoot-out near the Vermont-Canada border. Bauckholt, who had initiated the deadly incident, was accompanied by a Seattle trans woman (Teresa “Milo” Consuelo Youngblut), who was injured, but survived and has been charged.

Both Bauckholt and Youngblut appear to have been followers of trans man Jack (Ziz) Lasota, leader of a violent trans cult known as the Zizzians. The group appears to have also perpetrated the murders of an elderly PA couple in January 2023 and an elderly CA man on Jan. 17, 2025.

On Monday, “Ziz” (now 34) and one of his lieutenants, another trans man who goes by “Michelle” Zajko (33) were arrested in Maryland and charged with trespassing, obstructing and hindering, and possession of a handgun in the vehicle.

GRAMMY NOTES: I sassed my father once. I saw him turn toward me. I saw the look on his face and his clenched fists. Then I saw him get control of himself. Later, I learned his father used to beat the crap out of him. My parents never laid a hand on me. But they also didn’t put up with disrespect.

DOGE: Yesterday, Sen. Fetterman tweeted out a Politico article that starts – “‘Five alarm warning’: Possible DOGE access to private taxpayer data sparks outcry. The Elon Musk-run effort wants to study a system that includes tax returns, Social Security numbers and other information.”

Fetterman’s comment – “I want to save billions of your money and make our government more efficient. Rummaging through your personal shit is *not* that. A party of chaos loses—always.”

I won’t dwell on the millions Politico got for $10,000/year government subscriptions. FYI: You can buy one for $200/year or $350/2 years at the link below. Neither will I dwell on the self-projection inherent in Fetterman’s final statement, though I will laugh. A lot.

What I will share is what Elon Musk responded. “Bruh, if I wanted to rummage through random personal shit, I could have done that at PAYPAL. Hello??? Having tens of millions of people marked in Social Security as “ALIVE” when they are definitely dead is a HUGE problem. Obviously. Some of these people would have been alive before America existed as a country. Think about that for a second … “

The oldest American on record was Sarah Knauss who died on December 30, 1999, at the age of 119 years and 97 days. According to Musk, the government has 12+ million Americans older than that listed as “alive.” Best comment: “Damn George Washington still drawing Social Security.”

The latter is a threat to free speech, the former is not. Hope that helps!” P.S., I hope y’all took the time to watch J.D.’s awesome speech!

GRAMMY NOTES: I remember a story about a mom who regretted her decision to teach her young son correct anatomical terms. One day in the grocery line, an elderly lady cooed about him getting a baby brother or sister soon, and the little man piped out, loudly, “I know! And it’s going to come out my mommy’s BAGINA!!”

CATHOLIC: This is excellent. [25:17] – What does the Church actually teach about immigration and open borders? How do we balance love and treatment of people who come to our country? Can we morally deport illegals? Is there a hierarchy of love? Yes there is. Hear Fr. Chris Alar, MIC, explain what the Church really teaches about immigration, love, open borders, and care for a nation’s citizens.

DOGE: [2:16] – Good news! A federal judge declined a request to block the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) team from gaining access to records at the Department of Labor, the Department of Health and Human Services, as well as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

HECKPHIRE: [3:31] – We saw a t.v. show last night where some guy was trying to modify his genes so he could allegedly live twice as long. My husband’s comment … “Imagine if this were true. We could get stuck with Chuck Schumer for ANOTHER half a century!” Schumer, who will turn 75 in November, has been “serving” in public office since he was 25 years old, immediately after qualifying for the New York bar. Despite having never been paid more than $210,000/year for his political jobs, he has managed to accrue $81 million in net worth.

IRS: Donald Trump has instructed the IRS to begin mass layoffs.

MEDIA: The AP keeps deadnaming the Gulf of America, so Trump rescinded its privilege to join press gaggles inside the Oval Office and on Air Force One. The AP still has its office space at the White House and its seat in the Brady Press Room.

MILITARY: “The U.S. Army will no longer allow transgender individuals to join the military and will stop performing or facilitating procedures associated with gender transition for service members. Effective immediately, all new accessions for individuals with a history of gender dysphoria are paused, and all unscheduled, scheduled, or planned medical procedures associated with affirming or facilitating a gender transition for Service members are paused.”

Promises made. Promises kept.

We gave Trump a mandate to cut the bloated government and get unsustainable spending under control. In its first month, DOGE et al. saved We, the American Taxpayers $51 Billion dollars. Below are highlights from last week, which – FULL TRANSPARENCY – are posted as they happen at the DOGE X site.

Friday, February 7 – The government terminated 199 wasteful contracts for a savings of ~$250 million. Our money is no longer going to “climate change mitigation adaption and resilience coordinator” for Sri Lankan forest service or a workshop for “Intercultural communication diversity dialogue circle communicating across differences.”

Monday, February 10 – The Department of Agriculture terminated 18 contracts for a total of ~$9 million. These included money allocated for “Central American gender assessment consultant services”, “Brazil forest and gender consultant services”, and the “Women in forest carbon initiative mentorship program.”

Monday, February 10 – The Department of Education terminated 29 DEI training grants totaling $101 million. One sought to train teachers to “help students understand / interrogate the complex histories involved in oppression, and help students recognize areas of privilege and power on an individual and collective basis.” Education terminated another 89 contracts worth $881 million. Among them were $4.6 million to coordinate Zoom and in-person meetings, $3.0 million contract to write a report that showed that prior reports were not utilized by schools, and $1.5 million to “observe mailing and clerical operations” at a mail center,

Wednesday, February 12 – The Department of Homeland Security recovered the full payment that FEMA deep state activists illegally sent to NYC to house illegals in hotels. One of these was the Roosevelt Hotel, which has served as a Tren de Aragua base of operations; Laken Riley’s killer stayed there. The Roosevelt Hotel in Manhattan is owned by the government of Pakistan. Meanwhile, American hurricane victims are sleeping in tents.

Wednesday, February 12 – The DOGE team canceled a $25,000 award entitled “Empowering LGBTQIA+ Refugees in Greece.”

Wednesday, February 12 – Fifty-eight more cancellations with savings of more than $150 million in categories including Media, DEI, and Consulting. They included $405,000 at DHS for “resilience, energy, and sustainability management program support services” and ~$4 million at DoT for “DEIA program and project management support services.”

Wednesday, February 12 – The EPA canceled three DEI contracts, saving American taxpayers $45 million. The EPA also announced it would not be renewing Politico subscriptions, saving us another $458,919 per year.

Thursday, February 13 – The EPA canceled a $50 million Biden-era environmental justice grant to the Climate Justice Alliance, which believes “climate justice travels through a Free Palestine.”

Thursday, February 13 – Elon’s genius posse saved ~$115 million by canceling 167 contracts, including $2.23 million for “equity assessments of existing program policies.”

Friday, February 14 – DOGE located $1.9 billion of misplaced HUD moneys that were no longer needed.

Friday, February 14 – Lee Zeldin at EPA canceled 9 more wasteful DEI and Environmental Justice contracts, saving American taxpayers another ~$60 million. Zeldin says, “I’m just warming up! I have ZERO tolerance for even a penny of your hard-earned tax dollars to be wasted or abused.”

Friday, February 14 – In the last 48 hours, the Department of Education terminated 70 DEI training grants totaling $373 million. One was to train teachers to “engage in ongoing learning and self-reflection to confront their own biases and racism, and develop asset-based anti-racist mindsets.” In addition, the departments of education in all 50 states were sent a letter notifying them they have 14 days to remove all DEI programming in all public schools or face a loss of federal funding.

DAILY PRAYER: Dear Lord, We pray today for our loved ones who do not love You. Please open their minds and hearts to Your beauty, Your truth, and Your healing love. And, help us to be good to them. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

BUYOUT: About 75,000 federal workers, slightly less than four percent of the 2.3 million-person federal civil service workforce, accepted the Trump administration’s retirement buyout offer before it expired, allowing them to receive full pay and benefits until Sept. 30 while being exempt from daily attendance rules and layoffs. Since 2000, the average daily retirement total was 274. On average, the buyout offer reaped 6,250 employees each day while it was offered.

DOGE: Fourteen states — Arizona, Michigan, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington — have sued, asking the court to bar Musk and his DOGE team from access data systems or make changes to the disbursement of public funds, government contracts, regulations or personnel.

DOGE: Roses are red, violets are blue. DOGE has made $3.4 billion in waste bid adieu. – The latest include a $45 million DEI scholarship in Myanmar (formerly Burma) and an $8.2 million USDA contract for “environmental compliance services for the implementation of pilot projects developed under the partnership for climate smart commodities.” The White House has also canceled $500,000 in subscriptions to Politico.

DOWNSIZING: Now that the buyout offer has terminated, the Trump administration has started sending pink slips to unnecessary members of the federal workforce. Among those who should be kicking themselves for passing on the generous buyout severance package are those whose didn’t bother to return to work after the pandemic and whose jobs were deemed nonessential during the last government shutdown. This would include more than half of the IRS workforce. Some of these latter may have a future in border security, however, as Tom Homan reportedly believes their skills could be used to hunt down illegals.

EU: Vice President J.D. Vance gave Europe a well deserved scolding in a very meaty speech. [19:40] – The tragedy he refers to occurred the day before his speech when an Afghani Islamic extremist deliberately drove his car into a crowd, injuring at least 28 people, including children, and some critically. The perp is a 24-year-old man who BBC described as a migrant seeking asylum from the Islamic extremist government in his native land. Wait, wut? He is also allegedly known to police for previous offenses, which begs the question a second time. Why he was still in Germany?

LOUISIANA: The state’s Surgeon General Ralph Abraham had ordered his staff to stop engaging in media campaigns and community health fairs to encourage vaccinations. The state will still stock and provide vaccines, but will now put emphasis on encouraging citizens to learn about the risks and benefits of various vaccines before deciding.

MEDIA: In 2022, Trump filed a lawsuit again the Pulitzer Prize panel’s award to the New York Times and the Washington Post for pushing the false “Russian collusion” narrative. The Pulitzer Prize Board filed a motion to have the lawsuit dismissed. On Wednesday, appellate court in Florida unanimously denied the motion. In his written concurrence, Judge Ed Artau affirmed that the trial court had jurisdiction over the defendants and concluded that the issues in the lawsuit are actionable.

FEMA: An audit of pandemic-related funds from January 2020 to 2023, found that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) mismanaged nearly $10 billion by failing “to follow established requirements when delivering Public Assistance funding.” Assistant DHS Secretary Tricia McLaughlin announced that FEMA is terminating four officials involved in the misuse of funds, including the agency’s Chief Financial Officer.

TARIFFS: Yesterday, Trump signed off on a plan to enact reciprocal tariffs on U.S. trading partners. In short, reciprocal tariffs mean that “whatever countries charge the United States of America, we will charge—no more no less.” He said both our friends and our foes have been using their tariffs very unfairly to harm the U.S economy. For example, Germany has been able to sell eight times as many cars to us as we do to them. “Those days are over.”

Pontifical Hypocrisy

Pope Francis has released another scolding to American Trump supporters. In it he says, “I have followed closely the major crisis that is taking place in the United States with the initiation of a program of mass deportations.” Then he equates migration with necessity, as if all the millions who came here illegally did so to escape persecution. Clearly, he has not followed our open border crisis closely.

He claims that “the rightly formed conscience cannot fail to make a critical judgment and express its disagreement with any measure that tacitly or explicitly identifies the illegal status of some migrants with criminality.” Sorry, but no. A criminal is someone who has committed a crime. A crime is an unlawful act punishable by a state or other authority. Entering any locale in a manner that violates their law is a crime. What is hard about this? The United States has procedures for those who genuinely need to flee persecution. Those who follow them are genuine migrants. Those who sneak in are criminals as are those who have been denied asylum, yet have stayed anyway.

Pope Francis is a hypocrite. Although Vatican City does not require visitors to produce a passport or have a visa to visit, it does not permit overnight stays. And of the few areas that are open to visitors, most require an entrance fee and/or have a dress code. If you break the Vatican’s laws, its highly trained and well armed law enforcers will deal with you.

Just three weeks ago, Vatican City announced increased penalties for those who violate its borders:

  1. These sanctions apply especially to those who enter with expired permits, who do not meet the established requirements, who bypass border controls or security systems, or who enter by means of violence, threats, or deception.
  2. Penalties can be increased if the crime is committed with firearms, corrosive substances, by a person in disguise, or by several people together. Likewise, if illegal access is made in a vehicle, the penalty can increase by up to two-thirds.
  3. Anyone convicted of illegal entry will be banned from entering Vatican territory for a period of up to 15 years. If this sanction is breached, the offender may be punished with a prison sentence of one to five years.
